Lewis Howes’ Year-End Solo Special: Lessons of Love, Health, and GREATNESS in 2023

Hey there, it's Lewis. Today I felt inspired to hop on the mic and share my top ten lessons of 2023 with you. This year has been a transformative journey, and I'm excited to reflect on the wisdom it has brought me personally. From taking leaps of faith in love and relationships to prioritizing health and finding inner peace, these lessons have shaped my path. So, let's embrace change, change our money mindset, prioritize love, and live with gratitude as we navigate this incredible journey together in 2024.

First, let’s rewind. In 2023, we discovered that the real "win" lies in taking action, even if outcomes are uncertain, and we learned to prioritize our health, delve into the power of inner and outer cleanliness, and understand that peace is the highest form of wealth. We explored the relationship between respect and abundance and recognized the importance of setting agreements in our relationships. Love became a central theme as we understood that love is the key to falling in love with life and ourselves. And finally, we discovered the art of saying no to make room for more intentional "yes" moments.

In this episode you will learn

    • The transformative power of taking a leap and embracing change, regardless of the outcome.
    • How to prioritize your health and make informed choices about nutrition, sleep, and well-being.
    • The importance of both external and internal cleanliness in your life and how they are interconnected.
    • The profound impact of inner peace and how to cultivate it amidst life's chaos.
    • The relationship between respect for money and attracting abundance, along with valuable insights from successful individuals.

Inside Intel’s AI ambitions, w/CEO Pat Gelsinger

The AI boom in 2023 left Intel chasing rival Nvidia, whose chips — and shares — have been in high demand. Like other laggards amid this year’s AI mania, Intel is now fighting back, announcing the first-ever AI PC. Intel’s CEO Pat Gelsinger sits down with Rapid Response host Bob Safian to discuss how the company is working to re-establish itself — and sharing lessons for leaders everywhere about the long-term trajectory of the AI wave and how to practically position yourself to ride it. Plus, Pat shares leadership insights from his unceremonious exit from Intel a decade ago, and how he’s applying those learnings now in his second tour of duty.

Turn Anxiety Into Power: A 3-Step Process to Master Your Emotions From a Harvard Psychologist

Turn Anxiety Into Power: A 3-Step Process to Master Your Emotions From a Harvard Psychologist

In this episode, Harvard professor Dr. Luana Marques is going to teach you 3 simple steps to turn anxiety into power. And she’s not fooling around; in the first few minutes, she even called me out.

If you want to be more successful and effective in getting what you want out of your life or career, learning how to master your emotions, especially in difficult situations, is an essential skill.

And Dr. Luana is a sought-after expert who will teach you how.

If major life changes crush you with overwhelm and anxiety, this is for you.

If stress and frustration are holding you back at work, you need her 3-step method.

If your palms start to sweat just thinking about…

    • Downloading the dating app.
    • Applying for a better job.
    • Moving in with your significant other.
    • Filing for divorce.
    • Your kids leaving for college or to live on their own.

    Not anymore.

Dr. Luana Marques is a popular Harvard professor here to teach you that change is not only a necessary part of life but an incredibly powerful part of creating the life you want.

And even cooler, she is going through a MAJOR career change right now (and using her 3-step process to do it).

    Today you’ll learn to:

    • Stop running away from your feelings.
    • Silence your self-doubt.
    • Figure out what’s most important to you (so you can run toward it).
    • Jump into new situations using a powerful metaphor.

And you’ll get a practical and simple 3-step framework to master any transition in your life.

Grab your notebook, your pencil, and hit play.

    Xo Mel

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • 02:36: Why are transitions so damn hard?
    • 06:45: The exercise you need to find your values, according to research.
    • 09:24: What happens when ambition no longer serves you?
    • 13:17: What happens when success comes at a cost?
    • 16:21: How values have shifted post-pandemic.
    • 20:54: Holding space for discomfort with your loved ones is essential.

Episode 204: Running a Business Teaches You to Control What You Can

In this episode, I sit down with Beatrice Dixon. Bea is the Co-Founder, CEO, Chief Innovation Officer and face of the Honey Pot Company. She wears many hats. Honey Pot Company is a vagina and human wellness brand that focuses to destigmatize how people talk about them. This is an extremely special episode for me because I met Bea in 2015 as a buyer over sanitary protection at Target. I brought the brand in at Target and love to see how much the brand has grown.

This episode gets personal, we know that business is one hat that founders wear but we are people too. We might be running a business but have other things happening in life. These are part of the challenges that founders overcome. I hope you enjoy this episode as we talk keys to growth, and also personal points of wisdom.
