    Eduardo Longoria (@Portunus17) is the Co-Founder of Portunus Biotechnologies. He graduated from UT Austin Eduardo and has taken part in the building of a non-profit laboratory; Prophase Biostudios.

    Having an interest in Biomaterials, Eduardo conducted the research that led to the first product of Portunus Biotechnologies; Chitosan for green crop protection. Eduardo continues to research biomaterials as part of his master’s degree at the Federal University of Parana (UFPR). Part of this research is the development of a chitosan hydrogel mask that acts as a detection tool for COVID19.

    Now with Portunus Biotechnologies securely installed in the Toledo Biopark; Eduardo and his partners are endeavoring to bring their Chitosan to market and continue developing novel and green solutions to agricultural problems.

    Moritz Bierling (@bierlingm) is an independent researcher, writer, programmer, and open source operative. As the owner and principal of Existential Ventures, he helped visionary founders catalyze their projects through strategy, storytelling, and technology, and primarily worked with Holo and Holochain, two sister projects that aim to deliver on the promises the blockchain technology promised but cannot keep.

    In his work with learning and problem solving community Exosphere, he has organized a number of educational programs, authored a Primer on the emerging discipline of Alternate Reality Design, and now advises the organization as Senior Strategist. His work has appeared in a plethora of on and offline media outlets such as CoinTelegraph, The Freeman’s Perspective, Bitcoin.com and the School Sucks Project. Having dropped out of university twice by age 21, his path has taken him from the most abstract heights of philosophy to the pragmatic truths of an action-oriented life, the bridge between — and integration of — these two extremes being the focus of his current research and communication efforts. In his most recent work, he researched and presented on the use of memes in the formation of culture and the political struggle.

    Kim Aava (@Kimaava) is a lead 3D artist and the founder of Gamedevforce which is focused on increasing diversity in the game industry. She is currently working for DICE in Stockholm Sweden and has been in the industry since 2014. Kim has worked on games including Horizon: Zero Dawn, Battlefield 5, and the Solus Project among others.

    She studied at Uppsala University, getting her Bachelor’s degree in game design, and received a higher vocational education in game art at Futuregames. While studying at Futuregames she had a remote internship for Teotl Studios, working closely with Hourences at The Solus Project, a survival and exploration experience with VR-support.t

    She has returned multiple times to Futuregames and Uppsala University as either a guest lecturer, course teacher or jury. After her work at Guerrilla Games she took some time off, traveling in Asia to later return to Sweden to freelance for Really Interactive AB on on the VR game/demo Toran. Kim continued my adventure of exploring VR development at Fast Travel Games, releasing the VR game Apex Construct for Playstation 4, Oculus Rift and Vive.

    Vermin Supreme (@VerminSupreme) is a performance artist and activist who is currently running as a presidential candidate for the 2020 presidential election. He has run as a candidate in various local, state, and national elections in the United States, including the 2012 presidential election. A signature of his, Vermin is well known for carrying a large toothbrush and wearing a boot as a hat. His platform, satirical in nature, includes time travel research, a free pony for everyone, zombie apocalypse awareness, and a law requiring people to brush their teeth.

    The 2012 documentary, Who is Vermin Supreme? An Outsider Odyssey follows his 2012 presidential campaign run along with his life as a an activist and political satirist.
