A little over two months ago, Dallas signed an agreement to become a sister city with Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine. In the last few days, it's become a target again for Russian forces in the now more than two-year war. Joe Lindsley, an American reporter who has been there since the start of the war, joined Ask the Expert on Wednesday.

White House Director of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention Stefanie Feldman joined KRLD's Ask the Expert on Thursday to discuss the president's attempt to close the "gun show loophole."

Wednesday might have been Valentine's Day but hearts are the focus all month long. February is American Heart Month, a time when all people, especially women, are encouraged to focus on their cardiovascular health.

There's a chance that retirement doesn't necessarily mean the end of your career. You might end up back in the day-to-day grind. Resume Builder says 12% of retirees will probably go back to work at some point this year. That's on top of the 25% that tried to retire and returned to work in the last few years. Jobs expert Julie Bauke of the Bauke Group joined Ask the Expert on Thursday.

The fight continues between the state of Texas and the federal government over the border. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) said the state will keep using razor wire along the border, even if the federal government keeps cutting it down. This goes against a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court.

It's been wild the last few days with the weather in North Texas. Last week, there were days when the temperature dropped below freezing. Weather can impact everyone, but it's especially tough for the homeless and for other people who just don't get enough to eat daily. Jeff Smith joined Monday's Ask the Expert. He is the senior manager of communications at North Texas Food Bank.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised Tuesday that children 6 months and older receive at least one dose of the new FDA-approved COVID-19 booster. He knows parents might have some questions in light of this new advisory. He spoke with Kristin Diaz and David Rancken about the pros and cons of the latest booster.
