How should we prepare for a cicada invasion that hasn't happened since 1803?

This week, it would be hard to believe we are in the middle of February with temperatures forecast for the 80s.
Come this actual Spring... in April, the US will experience an incredible phenomenon of a double-brood cicada event that hasn't happened since 1803!

We asked Alison if it really true. Are we going to see billions of insects hatch all simultaneously and create an invasion of these loud bugs?
