Em followed a man for love from the UK to Australia, leaving behind a lucrative hospitality career. She had spent much of her life, to that point, blaming other people and circumstances for her situation. She decided to take radical responsibility, and everything changed.

    Be a healer

    Be a healer

Phyllis Leavitt has just written book called America in Therapy: A New Approach To Hope And Healing For A Nation In Crisis, in which she talks about the urgency to bring our whole country to therapy in a way never written about before. From years of experience as a client herself, and well over 30 years experience as a psychotherapist working extensively with individual and family dysfunction and abuse, she felt a deep calling to share all she has learned with the public and demonstrate how the principles of the best psychotherapy can be used to help heal a country of escalating hatred, divisiveness and violence.

Trust me, this is not just a conversation about America only, it for every person in every country in the world. She speaks to all  who fear for children and all future generations, who may feel hopeless or resigned or simply don't know what to do to help create a more loving and sustainable world. She brings a message of both urgency and hope that each one of us can be a healer, in language the layman can easily relate to and understand, through personal stories, client case studies, and professional expertise.

Phyllis and I discuss many things that can help every person live a life of joy, meaning, and healing. Then through the choices we all make, how we can have a powerful and positive ripple effect on, not just healing a relationship, a family, a community, even a country, but the whole world. It is a big task, However, Phyllis and I, and hopefully you, are up for it. This is powerful conversation, not to be missed

Madonna Santa is a trauma counselor, wellness coach, mentor and public speaker and runs an online platform focused on mental health and empowerment. She also hosts her podcast ‘Conversations with Madonna’, where she her guests from all over the world speak on all topics ranging from world events to mental, physical and spiritual health. She has had a 26 year career is community services, public speaking, running women’s groups and leadership programs, teaching in the tertiary sector and now runs her own counselling practice working with people who experience trauma, PTSD, narcissistic abuse and anxiety, and is about to write her first book.

Her approach to therapy is different in that she works herself out of a job, not keeping you in therapy for years but using techniques she has learned in her studies and research on neuroplasticity, psychology and holistic energy work to facilitate you into ‘Creating the Life you Deserve’. Madonna has helped thousands of people shift trauma, no matter what background or situations they have been in. It has been her experience throughout her 26 years in the industry and also her own personal experiences, no matter what circumstances have created trauma, anxiety or dis-ease, with the right tools in your toolkit for life, you can thrive rather than survive.

Madonna is living proof of her methods working, having been told at the age of 30 she would never walk again after the doctors who administered a spinal block during the delivery of her daughter made a mistake that resulted in her being incapacitated, experiencing chronic pain, fatigue and consequently being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, chronic migraines and a heart condition. This did not stop her from reaching her goals and creating the life she deserves. It propelled her into a journey of healing, understanding how the medical model of health, whilst helpful for acute illness, is far behind ancient wisdom and natural medicines, especially when it comes to women’s health. She discovered the true power of mind over matter, applied it to her life and lives a healthy and dynamic life and wants to share that with other’s so they too, can thrive rather than just survive through their lives.

Having a background in behavioural studies, community development and psychology, Madonna researched how to use neuroplasticity and wonder words to bring her back to wellness and it is her life’s mission to help other’s do the same. With her no nonsense, dynamic and inspirational way of imparting information, Madonna will have you focused, energised, bouncing back to health and creating the life you deserve in no time.

After a challenging upbringing, which included  a single mum, lots of struggles financially, spiralling into alcoholism, getting arrested for drink driving, to mental health issues, and culminating in a stroke from overwork which finally woke Chris up to the things he was doing and the things he wanted in his life.

He moved to London in 2015 from a country town in Australia and prior to the point of TravelFit's creation, he had been reflecting on what he wanted to create in life and questioned what he could do for others who may have struggled with creating healthy habits to live a better more fulfilled life. From the events during his upbringing and overcoming many obstacles by changing his mind and body through changing his perspective, cognitive behavioural therapy techniques and implementing practices on nutrition, training and becoming more present he completely changed his old self sabotaging habits to create a new more mindful and present life.

after visiting 28 countries, meeting the queen, and overcoming his struggles with mental health issues and experiencing a health issue that could be described as a "mini stroke" he found himself building a brand with a mission called TravelFit Global. Once inspired with this mission to help more people make a lasting change to their own life with the TravelFit Principles of Mind, Body and Soul. Direction can change

    Direction can change

Jacob Smith came from an environment that would socially accept him to fall into the category of being a product/victim of his environment. Yet, he was able to define the odds by pulling myself out of a life of trauma, violence, pain, and suffering that almost led him to being dead or in prison. He hit complete rock bottom in my early 20’s before changing the direction of his life to becoming a successful executive business leader. Jacob believes and uses his hardships, trails, and tribulations as his greatest strengths.

Understanding that a life without pain and suffering will never allow a person to be fully introduced to what they are capable of enduring and overcoming without being faced with extreme opposition and adversity to persevere through. His life’s purpose is to reach and inspire men to never allow any circumstance or situation define their life, yet turn all negatives into positives by growing through what they go through. He believes his testimony and unwavering dedication to his renewed life as well as perspective will provide people with hope that if he can make it, so can they.

Jacob now happily married with two beautiful children, and a successful executive and coach, is living proof that, no matter our circumstances, we can change direction at any moment and create a different outcome in our lives. This is a wonderful conversation that will inspire and empower you to believe more in yourself and pursue the life that is available for you.  .

    Adversity or adventure?

    Adversity or adventure?

Born in London, United Kingdom, Alice Readman moved to the south coast of England as a child, but she returned to London and lived much of her adult life there, until unexpected events led her to Bali Indonesia. It is in Bali, she wrote her first book. I Am Alice is a memoir that tells the story of Alice’s spiritual awakening and mental breakdown, with both events occurring concurrently. This radical transformation takes place and her life changes in an instant. Nothing could have prepared Alice for the domino effects that ensued after her world was irreversibly altered one fateful morning.

Two shocking events take Alice on a new journey with a whole new set of twists and turns. During the day she comforts her mother and siblings, and at night she is lost in a parallel universe, suffering from physical and emotional pain. In writing her very personal story, she hopes to remove the stigma of trauma in people’s lives. She hopes that others will reach out, ask for help and find the right support.

Alice believes we are all going through a deep transformation, and she hopes by sharing her story, the frequency of her words will inspire and support others through change. “Trauma is a gift that takes us all on a path of rediscovery and connects us with our divine blueprint, we came to earth to experience.” What seemed to be an incredible adversity for Alice, actually turned into an amazing adventure that led her to find her mission in life. This conversation will inspire you to look for the best in every situation.

    H.R.V. is the key

Greg Elliott's journey has been fueled by an unyielding passion for unraveling the mysteries of human health and potential. Growing up in a very active and health-conscious family, the importance of being healthy was ingrained at an early age and was further developed by playing for high-performance programs in Canada and the US.  He wanted to know how to gain an edge over everyone else, so his nights and weekends were filled with educating himself of how to be bigger, faster, stronger, and smarter than his opponents.

His formal training began at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he pursued a Master of Science in Exercise Science on a basketball scholarship. Those formative years weren't just about the sport; they ignited his fascination with the intricate science behind human performance.
