With 11 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, her passion extends to advocating for and working closely with vulnerable individuals who have faced adversities stemming from trauma, challenges, or discrimination. Kimberley is particularly drawn to supporting our First Nations People, individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, veterans, youth impacted by family or domestic violence, and anyone seeking to leverage her expertise for their well-being.

Coming from a traumatic background herself, Kimberley is living proof that if you want to make positive change in your life you can no matter where you come from. Encompassing physical movement and mental wellness Kimberley is known for 'bringing the sunshine' to all her client's lives. Teaching her clients how they can 'bring the sunshine' into their own lives by stepping out of a victim mindset and into a powerful, forward-moving mindset that can break down barriers, instill new habits and genuinely light up their own lives brings Kimberley the most amount of joy!

Kimberley made a splash in the disability community a few years ago with her innovative ways of delivering movement for everybody! From supporting people in the gym lifting weights, in the pool teaching them how to swim freestyle unassisted, to learning how to skateboard and stand-up paddleboard. The bigger the challenge the bigger the reward, for not only her clients but for Kimberley who lives for the goal setting, planning and problem-solving behind the scenes of every interaction she has with her clients.

Kimberley works closely with First Nations clients currently and with the help of cultural advisers she is able to deeply listen to the people and help them own their health, live longer with more mobility and connection to their bodies. By reducing accessibility problems and empowering the people with knowledge and accreditations as a movement Kimberley can help reduce chronic health conditions and increase the life expectancy of the First Nations People. Michelle Cogley is a best-selling author and inspirational speaker who moves her audience through courage and vulnerability. Renowned for ‘keeping it real’ she is a living example of how you can ignite your inner strength in the face of controversy and unapologetically reclaim your worth with confidence and compassion. With a background in animal and human behaviour, Michelle has a unique understanding of how the mind works. With her refreshing and raw approach, she is passionate about inspiring and empowering people to release the layers of shame and fear that come with being human, and helping them see their greatness so that they can proudly own who they are and live a life they love.

Just as life was looking rosy for Michelle, it all turned in a very different direction, and if not for her 'what if?' attitude, it could have all turned out to be a very different story. A global pandemic changed everything for Mish. She lost her business, she suffered from a significant heart issue, Pericarditis, as a result of the vaccine, which has had a lasting impact on her health. In addition to that, she lost her beloved dog Diesel, her father, and her pet cat all within the space of 12 months. How would you respond?

Mish is an incredible inspiration as she chose not to let her circumstances define her, but instead use them to help her find her purpose, and have a greater impact in the lives of all living creatures, no matter how many legs. Pay close attention to her story, and the lessons, as they will help every single person. This is powerful conversation, not to be missed

True Wealth with Mark Yegge (and Einstein's Ghost)

True Wealth with Mark Yegge (and Einstein's Ghost)

140   We all want a life full of what is most important to us, full of “Wealth” of the emotional, relational, and also financial, kind–or what my guest, Mark Yegge, a “wealth architect” and money manager, calls “balanced abundance”.

In other words, we want the wealth of feeling good, feeling secure, feeling healthy, feeling connected, loved, and fulfilled in this life. There is solid research that proves this.

Even Einstein, the most brilliant scientific mind of his time, was super clear about what actually makes humans feel most alive and abundant. (In this episode we share the most beautiful secret letter he wrote to his daughter—it will truly just melt your heart!!)

Unfortunately, because of the culture we live in, it’s easy to end up (almost by accident) over-focusing on things that don't actually lead us to that happiness and fulfillment. That lead, instead, to what I call Emotional Poverty. Mark and I have both seen all too many people lose track of what most matters to them by over-focusing on the pursuit of a successful career and financial abundance (or what we think is just financial security), while under-focusing on the things that actually bring them Emotional wealth and TRUE security.

Since you're here, you have a pretty good sense that relationships are a prime way to the happiness and meaning you want in this life. But you're likely (even to just a small degree) to fall under the influence of cultural programming that, by no fault of our own, distracts you from being able to make your important relationships the truly fulfilling and life-giving ones you know they are meant to be.

Luckily, it’s not so hard to re-align with what matters most to you, which is HOW you will be able to bring more TRUE WEALTH, the kind that matters most to YOU,  into your life, starting today. It can just take a bit of remembering –and intention.

So listen to this fun, laughter-filled, not-to-be-missed  conversation,  where Mark and I dive straight into the heart of all of this. You’ll come away with your heart energized and a surge of motivation to bring what most matters to YOU alive in your life, so you can feel genuinely happier and more fulfilled --and wealthy in all ways--as an HSP.

    Creating more in 2024

    Creating more in 2024

It has been a wonderful journey since meeting Dr Allan Meyer in June 2019. We spoke together at a men's event, we swapped books with each other, and since that time, we have been great friends and working together to help as many people as possible. Later that same year spoke together at a church in Washington State, USA, and we have done many things together since that time.

Allan has been helping many people long before I met him. Along with his wife Helen, he has many decades of experience in working with people to help them find the joy in life that comes from identifying and living with purpose in life. He has been a head pastor of many churches, he is a published author, he speaks to audiences all around the world helping them live happier and healthier lives. In 1992 Allan, together with Helen, established Careforce Lifekeys, a Ministry that releases healing, discipleship and evangelism in more than 2300 churches and organisations in over twenty countries around the world.

After a challenging year in 2023, along with celebrating his 55th wedding anniversary and turning 75 years old, Allan has plans to take what he has learned and create much more in 2024. Balancing stress

    Balancing stress

Kelly Myles and I go back many years and I consider her a wonderful friend. I am very grateful to have been with her on her journey to become an author and watch her courageously transition out of many decades in the hairdressing industry and into a coaching career that she is loving. Kelly is now having a powerful and profound impact on many lives through her coaching business. Not so surprising is how many of her clients are finding challenges when it comes to balancing stress in their lives. So, in this conversation we discuss it.

I think it is fair to say, we all deal with stress on a daily basis. There is a negative connotation to the word stress, as we seem to perceive it as a bad thing, however, stress is required for any growth, achievement or change. The challe occurs when we fixate on the wrong things. When this happens, stress can very quickly turn into a health threatening, relationship compromising, creativity crushing, and life damaging thing. So, there must be balance.

Kelly talks in detail about some very simple things we can all do to improve balance in life and when dealing with stress. We all want to use stress to propel us forward into a happy, successful, joyful and meaningful life, so the ideas Kelly suggests are powerful and critical. This is a wonderful conversation with Kelly that I enjoyed immensely and hope you do also,

Adam Wallace is energetic, animated, passionate and purpose-driven and totally disruptive. To me, he epitomises what living your best life looks like. He loves everything he does, he does things outside of the noem, he is making a difference in many people's lives and he is leaving a legacy that will live on, long after he is gone. Pokies to purpose

    Pokies to purpose

When Kate Seselja revealed publically that she’d had a twelve-year struggle with a gambling addiction, that drove her to almost take her life, no one had expected this revelation from the well-spoken, married mum with six children.

The way our society judges and stigmatises people’s struggles is wrong, it only compounds the pain and isolation the person feels. Kate knew she had to be a voice in the darkness talking honestly and vulnerably, her talks help audiences connect not just with her, but back to themselves in a way that builds greater understanding of self and others.

Recently in Canada and the USA visiting the UN, Kate is passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her recent partnership with United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA) to highlight Goal #3 of Good Health and Wellbeing. “It is the most vitally important SDG through which all others will be able to be achieved.”

The Hope Project is about shifting the culture of coping and existing, to one that is informed of what we need to thrive sustainably. This skill set is a powerful prevention tool of further social decay. This involves engaging educators to spread the message of living a mentally sustainable life. The AWAKE program teaches people how to recognise, understand and overcome their own life challenges, using the same strategies she used herself.

Featured on CNN’s Vital Signs, Kate has helped many people to remember their humanity and reclaim their lives, going from surviving to thriving. She was a finalist in the Australian Institute of Management Awards and the Telstra Women in Business Award in 2016.

Kate is invited to speak in classrooms, universities, workplaces and community groups, no one is immune to struggle and the more we can enable honest conversations about our humanity, the more we can grow and learn from our stories and increase the capacity for compassion and forgiveness. This is a powerful message every person needs to hear.

    Happiness is a choice

    Happiness is a choice

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Clay Boatright has lived in Texas since 1994, where he and his wife Carole raised three daughters, including identical twins with severe intellectual disabilities and autism. On a crazy Friday night, when his twins were two, Clay allowed faith to step in and help him find his purpose. As a result, with undergrad and graduate degrees from the University of Memphis, Clay managed two full-time careers for almost twenty years, one in the consumer-packaged goods industry to pay the bills and another as a volunteer advocate for people with disabilities.

Over the years, Clay developed a deep understanding of the disability industrial complex and served on a host of health and education advisory committees, including Board President for both The Arc of Dallas and The Arc of Texas. In 2011, President Barack Obama appointed Clay to the President’s Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities in Washington, DC, and in 2013, he was appointed Founding Chairman for Texas Health & Human Services’ IDD System Redesign Advisory Committee, which he held for six years. Published multiple times in various media, Clay is often contacted by legislators, the media, nonprofit organizations, and parents of children with disabilities to help understand the challenges that families like his live every day.

Then in 2020, just as the couple became empty-nesters, Clay's wife Carole died from ovarian cancer. In his grief, as he wandered through the local supermarket, he had an epiphany that helped him transform his life and launch, as he describes it, Clay 2.0. Following Carole’s death, Clay maintains a close relationship with his daughters and embraces the future with enthusiasm and a desire to help everyone know that God has a plan for their lives. His message is simple, We will all have experiences and challenges in life, that is certain, but baggage and drama is optional. Happiness is a choice.

This is a wonderful conversation, that will inspire you, challenge you, and entertain you. Please enjoy.

    Move for life

    Move for life

From a young age, Naomi Pendergast showed a passion for movement and athletic pursuits. The first half of her life was dedicated to dancing, seeing her work professionally in Europe for 6 years. She has owned and run training studios, worked as a personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and movement coach for nearly 20 years. Being an avid athlete that has a keen interest in triathlon, she understands the demands of the sport and how tough it can be to fit in the training required to be race-ready while working 9-5 and dealing with life’s commitments. From this, RPX Fitness Online was born.

In recent years Naomi has had the opportunity to work with a number of movie stars helping them gain physical fitness, strength, and agility for their role.

Naomi is passionate about teaching people to change how they move to create a strong and resilient physique and a life of healthy movement.

SHE BELIEVES GOOD MOVEMENT IS ESSENTIAL

Good movement is essential for maintaining a healthy and balanced muscular structure in the body. Very commonly healthy, fit people end up with unwanted injuries that could have been prevented through understanding how their body moves, how it should move, and how to move it safely. Most people seek out a trainer for a strength program, or for weight loss. At RPX her first and foremost goal is injury reduction and prevention by teaching people how to train themselves correctly. This is done by passing on over two decades of movement technique and specific training cues to each person so they can learn how to identify poor movement in their body, train themself correctly by knowing which exercises are right for their body, and improve daily movement and performance for a long life of good movement.

This is a wonderful conversation, and a simple and powerful concept, with a very inspiring lady. Please enjoy your planking!

Justine Martin is a resilience consultant, art therapist, speaker, coach, artist, author, and publisher, plus an advocate for medical care. She uses her own experiences of living with a disability to encourage others to take steps towards a positive future of their own by finding hope, overcoming adversity, and building resilience. She speaks from the heart, connecting with many audiences through her varied background in corporate, sales, art, volunteer work, and experiencing illness. She pursues any opportunity to inspire and empower members of the public, business owners, corporate teams, schools, and charitable and educational organisations. She has made many media appearances in television, radio, and print media over the years, and even ran for parliament in 2010-2013.

Her successful corporate life was turned upside down in 2011 when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Since then, she has battled three cancers,  overcome a long list of serious medical conditions, dealt with domestic violence, and other traumas. Rather than allowing her hardship to overcome her, she has used it as a platform to inspire and make a difference in the lives of others.

When I asked Justine was is the key to her resilience and her amazing capacity to, not just overcome, but to create so much success and impact in the world, she said, be willing and open to ask for help, and then take action on the advice given. Such a simple thing, that we can all do by-the-way. This is a raw, compelling and inspiring conversation with Justine, and one that I hope will motivate you to ask for help, act on it and make the most of every second you are blessed to have on this planet. Enjoy it and please share it with as many people as you can, and believe would gain value and insight.

Professionally, Susan became known for attaching celebrity talent to projects in NYC which led her to produce for television and film and on to Los Angeles. She convinced modern art legend Andy Warhol to do an on-camera commercial for Pontiac, a talent deal American TV personality Donny Deutsch still claims as one of his best, helped launch Fox News Channel at the request of Chair, Roger Ailes, and on behalf of Disney Channel persuaded A-list celebrities including Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Taylor Swift, David Beckham and more to be interviewed by cartoon characters…Phineas & Ferb.

Susan is a decorated endurance athlete competing in three marathons, and dozens of triathlons and has the distinction of finishing third in her age group at the treacherous Escape from Alcatraz event.

After living with force on both coasts of the United States, Susan heeded an intuitive call for a quieter life and now resides in the northwest corner of the mystical state of Montana with her beloved partner and their pets. Keen on leaving a legacy to help others heal from challenges she’s successfully met, Toxic Family: Transforming Childhood Trauma into Adult Freedom, is part of that quest. With the same magic Susan created in her entertainment career, she is now leading retreats, webinars, workshops and private sessions to help others drop outdated storylines and programming in exchange for living from the heart in authentic freedom as adults. Susan is truly living, as she describes it, in heaven on earth. Please enjoy this powerful conversation

    Finding fun

    Finding fun

Jemma trained as a classical flute player, but she realised, soon after a classmate hit her on the head with a flute, that it wasn't her jam.  She has been passionate about music since the age of 4 years old, where her brilliant parents gifted her the opportunity to join theatre groups, dance classes and music schools. After completing a Bachelor of Music at the WA Academy of Performing Arts (the same campus as Hugh Jackman!) she has gone on to enjoy an endlessly vibrant and diverse career in children’s music, theatre and TV production. For more on her story, listen to Episode 55, Jamming with Jemma.

In this episode Jemma and I discuss and fun, fabulous and fitting topic. As someone who has dealt with stress, anxiety, depression and fear, Jemma has worked on strategies and found some amazing ways to find fun in every area of life. Her ideas vary from short and simple strategies, to taking herself away on three retreats to find peace, space, creativity and fun. In fact, recently, in just three days, she wrote two amazing songs.

We live in a busy and noisy world, and we can easily get caught up in the confusion, stress and seriousness of life. Jemma and I discuss some great ideas for everyone to find fun, no matter what they maybe be doing, or facing. For fun, also, Jemma needs help naming her album, so please offer her your suggestions.
