#227: Spent $100K to Heal Anxiety, Didn't Work, Created a Permanent Solution with Daniel Packard

#227: Spent $100K to Heal Anxiety, Didn't Work, Created a Permanent Solution with Daniel Packard

Daniel is back, and he has a lot to share. Some discussion areas include:
-how to take a break from our mental health
-spent 100k trying to solve anxiety
-how he started a research company to engineer a solution
-Was his own test patient and felt calm; things usually sent him to terror. He thought it would wear off, but its been 10 years

Welcome back to A Mental Health Break! Be sure to leave a review and subscribe if you enjoy the show.

Link to his first episode: Live from Brazil: How to Cure Your Anxiety

Meet Daniel: After staying in a very unhealthy relationship for too long, Daniel ended up with severe anxiety and C-PSTD.

After spending 10 years and $100,000 trying to solve his anxiety, he learned that a trillion dollars is spent globally on mental health, but not getting people in pain permanent results.

Remembering what his dad told him that 'results matter' and because he was trained in engineering school to know how to engineer and invent solutions to complex problems, Daniel took a stand against the mental health industry and started his company Permanent Anxiety Solutions with the goal to see if it was possible to invent and reverse engineer a process that could solve anxiety permanently.  And ideally in a short period of time with consistent, measurable results.

Daniel Packard is a U.C. Berkeley Mechanical Engineer whose company, Permanent Anxiety Solutions, spent 8 years and $1.2 million to engineer and invent the world's only permanent anxiety solution program where you only pay at the end of the program once you have clear, measurable results.

Near Suicide to a Mental Health Community of 100,000 with Nigel Thomas

Near Suicide to a Mental Health Community of 100,000 with Nigel Thomas

    The relentless bullying at school.

The battle with my own demons.

A loss that nearly cost me my life.

Striving through constant setbacks to command my own destiny.

    Have all led to this.

Areas discussed with Nigel Thomas include:

    • How to cope with losing someone who believed in you most
    • How to build self-belief
    • The importance of finding your community
    • Focus on inputs and tracking your progress
    • FREE Weekly newsletter that takes 50 hours to complete to make an impact for you
    • Going with the flow

More on our guest: In September 2023, I surpassed a promise I made two years ago to take a company to $100,000/month in revenue. The key? Dreaming like a giant but fighting like an underdog.

Guided by the gift of self-belief that one woman gave me. The same woman who cut me off overnight and left me contemplating suicide. But the self-belief she instilled remains a guiding force.

It’s the very gift that led David to defeat the mighty Goliath with just a slingshot and a few pebbles.

The greatest underdog story of all time.

Through the David to Goliath newsletter, I’m here to rally individuals rejected by society who know deep down they’re destined for greatness.

Giving up a 6-figure salary, I’m laying bare my soul and putting everything on the line, to help entrepreneurs tear down the walls of rejection, smash through their personal barriers, and claim their place at the top of the mountain.

The newsletter unravels the raw, uncut life of an entrepreneur, as well as stories of triumph from the greatest leaders of our generation.
