    Podcast Summary

    • Stop Waiting, Start Pursuing Your DreamsBelieve in your dreams, overcome self-doubt, and take action to make them a reality. Don't let your dreams stay as dreams.

You should stop waiting and start pursuing your dreams. Many of us have a list of things we want to achieve in life, but we keep pushing them off year after year. Whether it's writing a book, changing careers, or starting a business, these dreams are meant to be realized. You don't need to wait for the perfect time, money, or permission from others. The only person who needs to believe in your dreams is you. Don't let self-doubt and imposter syndrome hold you back. It's time to pick up the pen, start taking action, and create a bigger vision for yourself. Don't let your dreams remain just dreams.

    • Taking Action and Overcoming ProcrastinationDon't wait for the perfect time or feel ready to start pursuing your dreams. Time is limited, so take action now and don't let fear or excuses hold you back.

Time is precious and limited. Mel Robbins emphasizes the importance of not wasting time and taking action on our dreams and goals. She shares her own experience of procrastinating on starting a podcast and expresses regret for the years she spent thinking about it without taking any action. She urges listeners to realize that their life is like a melting ice cube, and waiting for the perfect time or feeling ready will only lead to wasted opportunities. Mel reminds us that today is the only day we truly have, and we must overcome fear and start pursuing our dreams now. Don't let endless excuses hold you back from achieving what you truly desire.

    • Take action towards your dreams and don't let time pass you by.Push through fear and self-doubt to create the life you desire. Taking the first step, no matter how small, is key. You don't have to feel alone on your journey.

It's time to stop waiting and start taking action towards your dreams. Mel Robbins emphasizes the importance of not letting time pass by, regretting the things we wished we had started sooner. Fear, imposter syndrome, and self-doubt may hold us back, but pushing through them is crucial for creating the life we desire. It won't be easy, but it will always be worth it. Taking the first step, no matter how small, is key. Time and energy are the only things required to make progress towards our goals. Life is like a road trip, and we are driving alone. However, we don't have to feel isolated or unsupported, as there will be moments of connection along the way.

    • Embracing Self-Judgment and Taking Action Towards Our DreamsStop worrying about what others think and start focusing on our own actions. By dedicating a few minutes each day and aligning our time and energy with our priorities, we can pursue our dreams.

We have the power to make our dreams a part of our daily lives. We often hold ourselves back because we worry about what others will think, but the truth is that nobody really cares about what we do. The only person judging us is ourselves. Once we embrace this and take responsibility for our own actions, we can make progress towards our goals. It's important to focus on the present and look ahead instead of dwelling on the past. We can start by dedicating just a few minutes each day to taking action towards what we want. We should also be mindful of where we're investing our time and energy, making sure it aligns with our priorities. It's time to stop holding onto our dreams and start pursuing them.

    • Taking action towards fulfilling our desires.Embracing our beginner status and making small daily changes can propel us forward in our journey towards achieving our goals and finding fulfillment.

We are often active participants in our own demise, wasting valuable time and energy on things that we don't truly want. However, by becoming serious about our goals and taking our time and energy seriously, we can make a significant change. It is crucial to understand that we all start as beginners when pursuing our dreams, and that is perfectly okay. Embracing our beginner status allows us to let go of imposter syndrome and fear, propelling us forward in our journey. Time is passing us by if we don't take action, so it's essential to start making small daily changes and honoring what we truly desire in life. Making a career change at any age can be scary, but what's even scarier is remaining stuck in a life that doesn't bring fulfillment.

    • Take Action Towards Your DreamsDon't waste time on unfulfilling activities. Prioritize your energy and time towards pursuing your passions, regardless of limited availability. Start now, ignite the fire within, and drive towards your goals.

We shouldn't waste our lives doing things that don't fulfill us. It's important to make a career change if we're not happy and start driving towards our dreams. Taking action is crucial, whether it's designing clothes, making art, or writing. We need to prioritize our time and energy towards the things we want, rather than the things we currently have. Even if we have limited time, like 10 minutes or 15 minutes a day, we can still make progress. Time keeps passing, and if we don't start now, we'll look back with regret. We shouldn't wait for someday to feel ready or for things to be perfect. Today is that someday, and we need to ignite the fire within us to drive us towards our goals.

    • Take Action Towards Your DreamsDon't let excuses and fear hold you back from pursuing your dreams. Time is limited, so start taking small steps every day to make them a reality.

It's time to start taking action towards your dreams. Mel Robbins emphasizes that making excuses only dim the fire within you, and you're running out of time. Failing to take action on your dreams means you're failing yourself, and that's a sad reality. Fear can disguise itself as sameness, making it difficult to break out of your comfort zone and pursue what you truly desire. Robbins encourages you not to let familiarity lull you into a sleep, because decades can pass by without making any progress. Time and energy are precious commodities, and it's crucial to start carving out even just a few minutes a day to work towards making your dreams a reality.

    • Investing in Your Dreams: Creating a Meaningful and Joyful LifeLove yourself by pursuing your dreams and taking action towards them. In doing so, you validate your inner self, bring your dreams to life, and create a fulfilling and joyful existence.

Investing time and effort into something that truly matters to you can bring immense meaning and joy to your life. By acknowledging your dreams and taking action towards them, you validate your inner self and show love to yourself. Love is not something that someone else gives to you, but something you create within yourself. Working on your dreams, even if you don't achieve them, brings something alive inside you and makes them real. The habits and choices you make every day define the life you create. Directing your time and energy towards what you want, whether it's your dreams or relationships that give back, can profoundly transform your life. Love is the driving force that fuels joy and fulfillment. Start with yourself by waking up each day with clarity and taking responsibility for creating the life you desire.

    • Simplify Your Path to SuccessBreak down big goals into small, manageable steps. Consistent daily actions, no matter how simple, accumulate over time to bring your dreams to life.

Achieving your dreams doesn't have to be complicated or overwhelming. It's all about taking small, intentional actions every day. Whether you want to become a surgeon, an actor, or pursue any other dream, it's important to break it down into smaller, manageable steps. Instead of focusing on the end result and feeling overwhelmed, ask yourself how you can invest time and energy into your goal each day. Remember, everyone starts as a beginner. Don't let fear or self-doubt hold you back. Start taking small actions, no matter how simple, and over time, those actions will add up to make your dream a reality.

You’re Never Going To Be Ready

You’re Never Going To Be Ready

Picture this: you find yourself standing at a crossroads, contemplating whether to take a leap of faith or remain in your comfort zone. You may be hesitant, questioning whether you're truly ready or if the timing is perfect. But here's the reality: waiting for the ideal moment is an illusion, and regret is a powerful force.

As I reflect on my entrepreneurial path, I recall a turning point that defied all my expectations. It started with the loss of my job—a job I wasn't particularly happy in, to begin with. But on that fateful day, something inside me sparked. By the evening, I made a decision: I was going to start a business. There were no elaborate plans, no concrete ideas, and not even a name. I simply followed my desires, intuition, and passions, taking stock of what truly mattered to me.

Driven by a deep desire to make a difference, I started engaging with female entrepreneurs, seeking to understand how I could help. Eventually, it led me to supporting startups to launch, scale and grow their companies, to the world of coaching and, now, the launch of this very podcast—an avenue to showcase diverse entrepreneurial stories.

The truth is, none of this was initially part of my plan. But I realized that by focusing on a problem I cared deeply about, I could make a significant impact. I learned and adapted along the way, building momentum and shaping a business around my passions.

    In this episode I share:

    • How the power of starting small can help discovering your own capabilities
    • The fallacy of waiting to be ready
    • The 5 truths about chasing your dreams

A key realization that struck me on this journey was that readiness is a myth. Looking back, I can say with certainty that if I had waited until I felt ready, I would still be waiting today. Waiting for the stars to align is an endless waiting game.

So, I invite you to ask yourself: What problem ignites your passion? What is the calling you can't ignore? Remember, the right moment may never arrive. Today is the day to wake up and decide that things will be different. Take that leap of faith, even if you don't have all the answers. Embrace the uncertainty and discover the incredible possibilities that await you.
