    Alvin and German conduct a great conversation with Senior Multilateral Advisor, Uchechi (Chi Chi) Roxo, ’00. In her role, Uchechi supports US, UK, Germany and other bilateral government coordination and collaborative development programming in Malawi. She is passionate about community development, education, and equity. She has spent more than 17 years in the domestic and international HIV/AIDS response; duty stations include Washington, DC, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Malawi strengthening health systems. She is an avid writer, runner and traveler with a strong interest in community service, mentoring and entrepreneurship, recently receiving the 2022 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award from the State Department for volunteerism. While at Colgate, she received her BA in Political Science.

As a college Social Science professor, he delivers lectures and provides mentorship both within academia and through his non-profit, South Florida Village. Through this organization, he collaborates with community leaders to offer college readiness programs and mentoring support to students in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Committed to advancing social justice, he actively works to dismantle barriers that threaten democracy. Post-Colgate, he pursued further education, earning a Masters in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University and a Doctorate in Leadership and Education with a specialization in Exceptional Student Education from Barry University. During his time at Colgate, he made history by becoming the first African American elected as Student Government Association Vice-President, following a successful freshman year. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and African/Latin American Studies in 1995, and later obtained his Masters of Arts in Teaching in Secondary School Social Studies in 1997.

With several decades of experience in pest management within the greater New York City area, Mr. Giles has dedicated his career to recruiting and training workers based on the belief that pest management is essential and beneficial. Throughout his four years as an undergraduate and six years as an administrator, he was focused on identifying and establishing the necessary support and nurturing environment to sustain a diverse community. During his student years, his activism, along with the efforts of other students, directly contributed to the establishment of Colgate's Cultural Center. In addition to his academic pursuits, Mr. Giles was also an active student athlete, participating on the basketball team, and ultimately earning his Bachelor of Arts degree.

With an extensive career spanning decades in the healthcare industry, David manages a healthcare and public health consulting firm, addressing multifaceted challenges in business operations, patient/client engagement, Covid-19 mitigation, and organizational strategy. His expertise benefits a wide spectrum of clients, including organizations, municipalities, and federal entities. Following his time at Colgate University, David earned a Master's in Public Health in Healthcare Management and Public Health Policy and Administration at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. During his years at Colgate, David participated in football and baseball as a student athlete. Additionally, he was actively involved in WRCU and played a leadership role in WeFunk. His academic journey at Colgate culminated in the attainment of a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a dual concentration in Sociology and Pre-Medical Studies.

A lifelong learner, after graduating from Colgate University, she received a Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Education from Rutgers Graduate School of Education, and a Master of Social Work from Syracuse University. She also has led the Alumni of Color Organization. She graduated Colgate with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.

Presently, he immerses himself in the vibrant film festival circuit while also steering the production of his upcoming cinematic endeavor. During his time at Colgate, he actively participated in the Lounge and Brothers, showcasing his involvement and commitment. He attained a Bachelor's degree with a dual major in Theater and English.

    Alvin and German conduct a great conversation with New Jersey Superior Courts’ Equal Employment Opportunity Affirmative Action Officer, Kim Thomas Locker.’91. In her role, she provides training to staff, managers, and judges on matters of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Additionally, she engages in outreach activities, communicating with students about potential opportunities within the field of law. Kim began her career journey in the Kings County District Attorney's Office and has since gained experience in both law firm practice and corporate legal specialization. She also holds a membership in the Mid-Atlantic Association for Court Management. Kim pursued her legal education after graduating from Colgate, obtaining a J.D. from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. During her time at Colgate, she was an active member of the Sojourners and Swinging Gates and attained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion.

    Alvin and German conduct a great conversation with Faces International - Marketing & Development’s CEO and Cleveland School of Cannabis’ President/Partner, Tyrone Russell,’03. In his role, he uses his professional experience in the subjects of advocacy and social reform. After Colgate, he received his Master’s in Counseling and College Student Personnel from Shippensburg University. While at Colgate, Russell formed an organization geared towards strengthening the presence and community of minority students on campus called Brothers, an organization still existing on the campus of Colgate to this day. He was a highly decorated track and field athlete, a four-time Patriot League Outdoor Champion, taking first place in both the 200 and 400 meters in 2001 and earning gold in the 4x100 meter relay and 200 meters in 2003. He was a four-time recipient of the program’s Outdoor Excellence for Achieving Award. Additionally, he was a two-time recipient of the Walter and Dorothy Fullam Award for significant team contribution. Russell’s performances garnered him a spot in the Colgate Hall of Honor. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

A member of the Alumni Council, Tino started his career at Prudential Financial as a Senior Analyst, Mergers and Acquisitions. He thrives in the integration of business and law. Since Colgate he has earned his MBA in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School and his JD focused in Corporate Law from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. While at Colgate, he was President of the African Students Union, Vice Captain of the Colgate Club Cricket, and a member of Brothers of Colgate, He received his Bachelor in Mathematical Economics and Computer Science.
