Dr. Case states, "If our spiritual diet consists of reading the Bible once a month, praying here and there, and spending time with God only in our spare time, then our spiritual body will not be able to remain focused on what God has for us and we will get easy distracted causing us to be stuck in our relationship with God." Pastor Greg Falco delivers a compelling message centered around the theme of self-denial and spiritual introspection. Drawing from his own experiences, he emphasizes the significance of prioritizing one's relationship with God over the myriad distractions of modern life, particularly in the realm of entertainment and technology. Pastor Greg maintains a balanced perspective, clarifying that entertainment itself is not inherently negative, but rather the potential imbalance and distraction it can introduce into one's life. Pastor Tim Case, Senior Pastor of Covenant Life Church in Henrietta NY, and Theology teacher at EBIC, teaches about the misunderstandings of faith and divine healing. He states, "God is always good, loving, and caring even though we may question who He is, sufferings, sickness, and natural disasters do not dictate or change God’s goodness." We live in a sinful world that is in God's control, and, in his sovereignty and plan, God is the one who ultimately decides what to do. This is a teaching that will help you grow spiritually!

Pastor Craig Campbell speaks on how Christians will face opposition here on earth. Looking at the life of Jesus, Pastor Craig reminds us that Jesus faced opposition from the moment of his conception until the crucifixion. Thus, Christians will not only experience opposition but should expect it. Pastor Craig states, "When we work and do great things for the kingdom of God, the enemy will do everything in his power to stop us by using opposition." Handling opposition will require Christians to stand on the truth of God's Word. In doing so, opposition can lead us to cling closer to Christ and grow in our relationship with Him. Pastor Kenneth Wagner, Senior Pastor of United Church of Delaware, passionately delivers a sermon addressing the intense spiritual battle faced by individuals in ministry. Emphasizing the reality of spiritual warfare, he underscores the need for awareness and active engagement against the enemy's tactics. Drawing from Ephesians 6:10-20, he highlights the significance of putting on the whole armor of God, advocating for a deep commitment to the Word of God, and fervent prayer. He warns against complacency and stresses the importance of eliminating apathy by remembering one's purpose in ministry. This is a message that will encourage you today!

Thus, Pastor Clark emphasizes the discipline, limitations, and costs associated with discipleship, recounting personal experiences of familial challenges and societal opposition. He encourages EBIC to navigate life with Jesus as their guide, emphasizing prayer, fasting, and rest as essential disciplines. This is a message that would help you grow in your understanding of what it means to make disciples around the nations!

In this sermon, Dr. Fred Antonelli humorously debunks the belief that marriage solves all problems. Instead, he emphasizes the need for personal growth and self-awareness. Drawing from biblical examples, particularly the story of Moses spending 40 years in the desert, Dr. Antonelli underscores that spiritual transformation and discovering one's purpose takes time. The message encourages us to fix our eyes on God, as He has a unique purpose and eternal significance for each one of us. This message is a reminder to wait on God as He has a specific purpose for our lives.

Preaching on the Joy of the Lord, Rev. Guy Gabriel brings a message from Philippians 1:6. He reminds us about the good work that God is doing in our lives, and challenges us to trust in God with joy as true joy from a place of total trust and surrender God who will fulfill His promises in our lives. Rev. Gabriel states, "As believers, our Joy does not come from denying the reality of our circumstances but choosing to focus on God who has the bigger picture." God has our very best in mind and allows trials in our lives to draw us nearer to Him, so we can be more like Him.

Rev. Tony Labarca, Senior Pastor of Crossroad Church in Lima NY, reflects on his experiences during his time at EBIC as a student. He attributes to Elim the teachings of listening to God's voice and emphasizes the crucial discernment of God's guidance in various life situations. He candidly shares a personal struggle with sin and underscores the forgiveness and transformative power that God gives when a person confesses wholeheartedly. Rev. Tony encourages the students to maintain an attitude of surrender towards God highlighting the necessity of prioritizing Him over oneself. 

Nick D'Antonio, a graduate of Elim Bible Institute and College, returns with a straightforward message. He states, "First, it's crucial to attain a deep understanding of the Bible, becoming biblically literate. Secondly, seeking discipleship and mentorship from someone with greater knowledge is immensely valuable." He encourages our students to regularly study the Bible with the purpose of comprehension. Thus, our students will have the ability to identify deceptions. At the same time, He urges our students to seek wise discipleship. He affirms, "Being disciplined and mentored by someone who knows more than you, is by far the most valuable thing you can do for yourself.” This is a message that will help you continue to grow in your relationship with Christ!

Rev. Richard Raines, Theology Professor at Elim Bible Institute and College, highlights Elim's role in equipping its students to minister to a world grappling with false identities. He emphasizes that to effectively serve those who lack a true sense of self, Christians must first grasp their own identity as new creations of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5 underscores that through Christ, believers are made the righteousness of God, enabling them to live their lives through Him, dispelling any notion of the Father's dissatisfaction and embracing their new identity as Christ in them. This is a message that will impact your life!

Dr. Danuta Case, Vice President and Provost of EBIC gives a challenging message. She asks the students. "How much do you love God?" Dr. Case defines what it really means to love someone and describes what it should look like. She affirms, "True love has to be supported by actions." Only when we truly comprehend how much God loves us we will be able to completely surrender to Him and trust Him with all of our hearts.  But in order to comprehend His love we must spend time with Him, just like with do with our significant other. Dr. Case states, "The more you know Him, the more you love Him, and the more you trust Him."

Rev. Mike Cavanaugh, former President of EBIC, speaks to us about how to deal with disappointments. One of the reasons ministers burn out is that they don't know how to handle and process disappointments. Rev. Mike affirms that "disappointments come from sadness or displeasure caused by the non-fulfillment of one’s hopes or expectations.” He prefaces that in life, disappointment is unavoidable, so it comes down to a matter of management. Rev. Mike mentions that the best way to fight against disappointments is by filling our hearts with gratitude, knowing that God uses these situations to work in us and help us grow, and trusting the wisdom of God because He knows what is best for us. This is a message that will speak to your heart!

Rev. Melvin Cross, Lead Pastor of Glory House International, in Rochester, NY, visits the EBI&C campus to share about the purpose of why Christians are here on earth. Rev. Melvin enthusiastically answer the questions, "Who am I?" and "Why am I here?". He states, "We are all part of a great legacy and are empowered to spread God's Word throughout the world. Jesus is our example." We are marked for great things that will come to fruition in due time. Meanwhile, our purpose is to seek God and spread the gospel.

Dr. Antonelli delivers a powerful message about dealing with anxiety. Speaking from Philippians 4:4-7, Dr. Antonelli sheds light on the context behind Paul's writing. The Apostle Paul was in a “rotten place” when he wrote this letter. However, he was able to write it because he was connected to a realm of sustainability in the Lord. Speaking not only from the perspective of a psychologist but as a life personally transformed by the power of the word, he shares that the two weapons for every Christian's struggle against anxious thoughts are praise and prayer. We must remember who our God is when praising and praying. This is a message that will help you in deeper ways!

Rev. Simon Tanner, International Director of Helimission, begins his message by describing how amazing it is to see how the Lord has prepared His children to bring the Gospel to those groups who have never heard the Gospel. Using the example of King Hezekiah, Rev. Simon reminds the students that God is in control of every situation even when we think that He is not. Therefore, our job is to surrender all to Him because He knows what is best for us. This is a message that will bless your life!

Rev. Sammy Foster, Lead Pastor of Light House Church located in Maryland, encourages our students to maintain an open heart for the Lord's guidance. "God is always working in our hearts, minds, and character. Our job is to surrender our hearts to Him."  Rev. Foster reminds the students that the Lord "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble" (James 4:6). We are called to keep a humble and grateful heart for the Lord! This is a message that you don't want to miss!

Dr. Fred Antonelli teaches the importance of brokenness and how the Lord uses it to bring His life to us. He states, "Brokenness can lead us to dependency on the Lord if we choose to trust Him no matter what." Dr. Antonelli uses the imagery of Jesus breaking bread at the last supper to signify the physical brokenness he was going to endure at the cross. Dr. Antonelli reminds us that Jesus' brokenness brought everlasting life to all those who believe in Him. In the same way, if we allow God to break us for His glory, His light will shine through us in a new different way.
