As we can imagine from the dramatic reading of Matthew 6:9-13. God can and does listen to our prayers.
People sometimes ask … What does the Bible say about God listening to our prayers?
1 Peter 3:12 comes to mind "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer..."
And in John 5:14-15 - " 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: 15 And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

When we pray the Lord's Prayer, we ask God to help us surrender our will and completely rely on Him. We let go of our control when we want God's will over our own. After all, we're more ourselves once we surrender.

God knows our thoughts.
God knows what we imagine.
God knows what we dream.
Why don't we have more faith in God? Why don’t we trust Him in particular areas of our lives? Why do we let Him into the parts that don't seem to matter?
Reflection Question: Why is it so hard to have faith in God when He has done so much for us? Now, list ten things that he has done for you today.

A life blueprint aims to plan, manage, and get focused on our life goals. The purpose is to figure out all the different areas of your life that are important to you and prioritize them. God is concerned about the blueprint of your life. So what is God’s blueprint for your personal life?

Have you ever wanted to forgive someone but just couldn’t? Carrying around unforgiveness is not hurting the one who has wronged you. Instead, it is harmful to you. Unforgiveness is the single most popular poison that the enemy uses against God’s people, and it is one of the deadliest poisons a person can take spiritually. It causes everything from mental depression to health problems such as cancer and arthritis.

Open your eyes and look for a person who needs a little time, a little friendship, and a little bit more faith. They are everywhere...in your classes...on your job...in your church...and at the doctor's office. How do you know that God did lead you to to the place so your paths might cross. The stronger saints are to bear up the infirmities of the weaker ones.

Pray for those in the midst of their storm or struggle. Difficulties can overwhelm any of us. Sometimes we don’t know how to help our loved ones caught in a snare with no way out. Prayer is always the place to begin. No matter how many times a person falls, they may be able to come back strong because of our prayers.

Reflection Question: What's your battle? Is it an addiction, a real bad habit, a health concern, mistreating or mentally abusing others like your spouse or children, or something that constantly haunts you from your past? Have you ever surrendered it and yourself over to God?
