On preserving friendships w/ Maggie McGill

In today's episode, Kaia sits down (literally) with her bestie, Maggie McGill [they/she], and talks about their shared experience of being Enneagram 7s. They'll share about the unconventional way they became friends in the middle of the pandemic and the discomfort of vulnerability that brought them closer. If you've ever found yourself in friendship with someone that's in a toxic, unhealthy, or abusive relationship -- Maggie will share about their experience of that -- both how to show up, and how not to show up.

On the one thing everyone wants for their birthday

On the one thing everyone wants for their birthday

Birthdays have a bad rep around here: too much, too little, never "just right" it seems. Maybe that's the low-grade depression talking? Today's episode is all about the one birthday thing that everyone wants. And yes, this applies to EVERYONE.

On non-monogamy and finding the green M&Ms

Today's episode is all about non-monogamy -- ethical non-monogamy, consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, monogamish, and everything in between. Kaia shares about her own journey of dating non-monogamously: the good dates, the bad relationships, and the euphoric moments alike.

    On loving yourself

    On loving yourself

In today's episode I talk about the Love Languages, developed by this old dude named Gary Chapman. What inspired me to have this conversation was the We Can Do Hard Things episode called WTF with the Five Love Languages?

At the end of the day, I think the Love Languages are a bit too simple, but they are an invitation for deeper knowledge (and love) of self, and a framework that helps us to accept and ask for the love we want, and dismiss the attachments from others whose love we don't.

Welcome back: A fresh take on some old mantras

Welcome back: A fresh take on some old mantras

After a two-year break, Warmly is back.

In this episode, you can expect a deep dive on 5 mantras that seemed to have age well, even though there have been some detours along the way.

This episode is end-capped with an invitation for you: to actively participate in this next era of Warmly: the one where we ruthlessly and unapologetically move towards the people, the places, and the things that make us feel...warm.
