    Communication for partnership

    Communication for partnership

Why does it seem communication between people seeking romantic compatibility has changed? There once was a time we valued having a partner but that does not seem to be the case anymore.

Questions for our audience: What are some ways do you struggle in communication in relationships? Does this only occur with people trying to date or those in committed relationships are well?

    Y'all asking for money now?!

    Y'all asking for money now?!

Toni Braxton once said, "men are the new bitches." Not our words. She is the one who said it but does she has a point? There was once a time when men took pride in caring for their families. There was a time it was understood that a man is to pursue and provide for a woman if he was to have her. Where has that time gone?

In this episode, Tika and Irise discuss times where a man has straight asked for money from them and also getting caught in the cycle is being too nice! Our question to our audience is-is it important for a man to be a provider and protector in these days or is that truly a thing of the past?

    Let us know your thoughts!

What's your love language? featuring Sam Williams of Memphis, TN.

What's your love language? featuring Sam Williams of Memphis, TN.

Speaking stricly to my ladies, if you don't listen to another episode this season, listen to this one! Today we feature our first guest, Sam Williams of Memphis, TN. Sam has many titles. He is a father, husband, police officer for the Memphis Police Department and business owner with Body Jus Right Personal Training. Like Tika and Irise, Sam is originally from Memphis, TN.

Sam dropped some major gems during this episode. Our topic is a discussion of the five love languages. We did a deep dive discussion into those but Sam also dropped a lot of knowledge about the dos and don'ts of dealing with men that can help the ladies! Sam said this to descibe himself-"I was a guy who wasn't great in relationships...I had to learn how to be a better man."

    He also added:

"If you really want to deter a guy, tell him "I'm saving myself for God!" and "If you really want to see if a guy likes you or not, hold off s3x for 3 months!"

Those quotes sound kind of funny but to understand the context, you must listen to the episode!
