Thank goodness it's Friday, it's Cancer season, and ya besties are here. Wish our host Jazzy a happy birthday as she celebrates this weekend before turning twenty-FINE on the 9th!

This week we begin our celebration of Disability Pride Month and BIPOC Mental Health Month! As these months represent integral pieces of our identities, we hope to bring awareness as we share knowledge and experiences about these topics.

Well, the title sort of gives it away, huh? This week to acknowledge the 1-year overturning of Roe v. Wade, Areka is sharing her abortion story. Not only as a way to stand in solidarity with the over 66,510 people who have not been able to get legal abortions in their home state since the overturning but especially those who had to seek their choice through dangerous means. Bodily autonomy is under attack and we will not stand silent here on A Lot to Cover.
