Of Image And Rest
A Gentle Yet Terrifying Slaughter - The Book of 2 Chronicles
In this Bible Story, we learn about the battle between God and the Assyrian King Sennacherib, and the Lord provides victory over the Assyrians. This story is inspired by 2 Chronicles 32:1-23 & 2 Kings 18:13-19:37. Go to BibleinaYear.com and learn the Bible in a Year.
Today's Bible verse is 2 Chronicles 32:20-21 from the King James Version.
Episode 150: As the King lay sick on his bed, he begs God to remember him. Asking that God would recall all the good he did in His name. This call was not made in vain. God heard him and sent a word through the prophet Isaiah that he would be spared and live another fifteen years. The nations heard about this miraculous healing and even Babylon came to congratulate the King. But instead of using this visit to point the nations to his God, he used it to show off his wealth. This sin would cost him his nation.

Episode 513 - Florida Man Returns
Burning Man Festival | Occultism Is Bad, Kids
On this episode, I will be going over what the Burning Man Festival is, what kind of depraved people go to an event like Burning Man, the depravity that occurred there, and how God completely shut it down with floods, illness, and fire tornadoes (pretty epic, right?). Sins have consequences -- sometimes instantaneously. You guys should also look up the rainbow that God left over the Burning Man Festival after he plagued it. To me, that signifies God's grace, but also His anger toward sin. Hedonism just isn't it, guys. The 10 Commandments exist to lovingly protect you, not to needlessly restrict you.

Blind at Birth - The Gospels
In this Bible Story, Jesus heals a man who was blind from birth. The young man who is healed is then questioned by the Pharisees, for they do not want to admit that Jesus is truly good and had the power to heal. The once blind man stands firm in declaring that no evil man could do what Jesus did. This story is inspired by John 9:1-38. Go to BibleinaYear.com and learn the Bible in a Year.
Today's Bible verse is John 9:25 from the King James Version.
Episode 196: As Jesus and His disciples were passing through the streets of Capernaum, they passed by a man who had been blind since birth. The disciples, misunderstanding the man’s condition, thought that his blindness was a result of sin. But Jesus proved to them that the man was not blind because of sin but rather so God could be glorified in healing him. After Jesus had healed the man he was brought in front of the Pharisees to be questioned about his newfound sight. But as they were questioning the formerly blind man, his honest answers revealed their spiritual blindness.

Multi-Topic - Does modern medicine erode natural selection? And should we remove the word "man" from the English language?
In this show, the boys tackle a couple of subjects...
Firstly, they discuss whether modern medicine erodes natural selection. Do the advances in medicine keep people alive who wouldn't have been kept alive through natural selection? So are we propagating a population who shouldn't be there?
Secondly, they discuss whether the word "man" needs to be removed from the English language entirely because it offends some people in society.
But what are your thoughts on either of these subjects? Do you agree or do you have some thoughts that may not have been considered?
Tune in and listen to the discussion - and please let us have your comments on these subjects.
Although we much prefer effusive praise 😉 on our Facebook page, we enjoy and appreciate any feedback you might care to leave, so please have at it. If your comments cause outrage or apoplexy, we'll probably have you on the show because we're weird like that. 😁
