Why did the surgeon general issue guidelines on social media use for kids?
Surgeon General Vivek Murthy released guidelines last week on social media use for children. The warning says that social media poses a threat to kids' mental health, due to excessive use and harmful content that could lead to suicidal thoughts. Dr. Ken Jones, director of behavioral health for the Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, joined Ask the Expert North Texas to discuss the advisory.
