Al Martin was a legend on the New York scene, owner and creator of The New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club and Greenwhich Comedy Clubs. He helped get many comedy careers launched including mine. May he rest in peace and may his soul soar high. Here is an interview I did with him in 2020.

Certe prend le train car ce soir il joue au Micro Comedy Club de Nantes. Il profite de son passage dans la ville pour aller voir Maxime Labat, un ancien ami vulgarisateur scientifique de la biodiversité et qui travaille aux jardins des plantes de Nantes. 

Ensemble, ils questionnent le rapport vital des Hommes à la nature : comment raconter cet écosystème si précieux à l'équilibre terrestre ? Comment transmettre la curiosité pour les autres êtres vivants à nos enfants ? 

Fort de ces retrouvailles passionnantes, Certe retrouve Alisson à Paris ; la date de son spectacle approche, il est temps pour lui d’écouter la note vocale de la programmatrice de la salle dans laquelle il va jouer…

Certe Mathurin, humoriste, est concerné par le dérèglement climatique. Après l’argent et l’amour, il décide de s’attaquer à un sujet universel a priori périlleux : le climat. Mais peut-on vraiment en rire ? 

Pour le savoir, Certe va partir à la rencontre d’experts pour se documenter et nourrir son spectacle : alimentation, énergie, biodiversité, quels sont les défis qui nous attendent ? Comment sensibiliser sans mettre à distance ? Quelles solutions existent…? 

Au fur et à mesure de ses rencontres avec le physicien et philosophe des sciences Étienne Klein, la glaciologue Heidi Sevestre ou encore la cheffe Chloé Charles, de ses doutes et de ses interrogations, Certe avance dans la construction de son spectacle jusqu’au soir de la première.
