When Jesus came to earth He inaugurated the Kingdom of Heaven and said that the fulfilment of all things would happen over time. We are living in that continuation period; the Kingdom is here but not fully yet. In this continuation period, we still experience death, destruction and the weakness of this age. However, we have Holy Spirit who was sent to help us navigate life, especially when we are weak; He intercedes on our behalf to bring about the will of the Father for our lives.
Social media and our current western culture all have on thing in common - they are the image makers for countless people, young and old, male and female who long to be someone else, somehwere else, anything but the nagging dispostion of being in their own skin.
The Good News introduced by Jesus Christ is that there is a better option than tailoring our own image and likeness: He opened the door to return to the original plan of living with the image and likeness of our heavely Father.
You are not a nobody, nor are you ordinary. God created us to be extraordinary and put within us the ablity to extend a hand and be a blessing and an encouragment to those around us. If you want to see change in your world, be the catalist that God has created you to be.
In this final message on the God Who Blesses series, Stephen shares how we are to perpetuate the blessing of reconciling people back to who they were created to be in Christ. He shares four practical ways to bless people in our every day life.
