    About this Episode

In part 3 of this All Things Crime series, we continue our conversation with Paul Hutchinson, who is dedicated to fighting against the heinous crime of child sex trafficking. We delve deeper into his experiences and gain further insight into the dark world of this insidious industry.

Unlike homicides, where the pain ends with the victim's demise, the trauma endured by a survivor of child sex trafficking lingers, affecting not just their own lives but also possibly future generations.

One surprising revelation shared by Paul is the involvement of women in holding and controlling the children being trafficked. Contrary to popular belief, these women play an instrumental role in perpetuating the cycle of abuse. Some were once victims themselves, manipulated and groomed into becoming accomplices.

As we near the end of this eye-opening series, it becomes evident that ending child sex trafficking necessitates a collective effort. We must educate ourselves, raise awareness, and support organizations and initiatives dedicated to combating this abomination. Let us stand together, united in the fight against child sex trafficking, and strive to create a world where every child is protected and cherished.

Paul Hutchinson is an executive producer of β€œThe Sound of Freedom” movie, where it highlights the story of a former homeland security agent and the rescue of over 120 victims in Colombia from a child trafficking organization. Paul also started The Child Liberation Foundation, and has now led or played a key role in over 70 undercover rescue missions in 15 countries. He is well known around the world for his philanthropic and charity contributions.

    Takeaways

    1. Child sex trafficking inflicts lasting damage on victims.
    2. Traffickers often attempt to justify their actions.
    3. A significant percentage of those involved in physically controlling trafficked children.
