    • Faith and IntegrityWorship involves integrity in all life areas, and faith must be actively passed down to future generations, influencing educational environments to raise devoted followers of Jesus.

Worshiping God goes beyond just singing in church; it involves living with integrity and upholding our commitments in every aspect of life. Vital teachings and practices of faith must be passed down through generations to ensure that future followers understand their importance. The church's health directly affects society's well-being, as a strong, vibrant church fosters hope and freedom. Faith should be integrated into educational systems, allowing teachers and mentors to model values effectively. If faith is compromised or presented equally with other beliefs, it leads to confusion among students. As a community, it is essential to maintain and share fundamental beliefs to nurture devoted followers of Jesus, helping to prevent the loss of essential faith practices.

    • Lost InfluenceChristian principles once shaped society but have significantly lost influence, leading to challenges and moral decline. History shows that neglecting faith can result in suffering, emphasizing the need to actively uphold these values for future generations.

Christian beliefs have long shaped societal norms, including marriage, sexuality, and the sanctity of life. However, over time, these principles have diminished in influence, leading to challenges and a societal drift away from biblical teachings. This loss is not a simple oscillation; instead, history shows that societal collapse can follow when faith wanes. Examples from the Bible illustrate the consequences of straying from these values, as seen in the immoral practices during King Josiah's reign in Judah. Such shifts occur through generations when faith is sidelined, leaving us to question the principles that once guided our institutions. To restore influence, we must actively defend these values, recognizing the potential for suffering when we allow these teachings to fade from our public life. True change requires a firm commitment to the tenets of faith, not merely hopeful waiting for better times ahead.

    • Faith and RestorationInvesting in our worship spaces reflects our faith. Supporting modern media initiatives helps share God’s truth amid societal challenges.

A young leader recognized the need to restore the temple, reflecting the importance of our faith through how we maintain our worship spaces. When the Book of the Law was discovered, it highlighted how the community had strayed from its core values. Now, efforts are underway to utilize modern media to share a biblical worldview, addressing societal issues with God’s truth. As faith communities face challenges like censorship, enhancing the church’s resources is crucial. Together, through support and investment, believers can promote a strong faith presence and create content that reaches wider audiences, ensuring the message of the Gospel is shared effectively in today's world.

    • Heartfelt WorshipWorship comes from within, focusing on God's goodness and love, not just our feelings. True praise is heartfelt, thriving even in tough times, reflecting a deep connection with God beyond material needs.

Worship stems from our innermost being, away from just our feelings and thoughts. It involves recognizing God's goodness and love, even when life is tough. True worship isn't just about public gatherings; it's about heartfelt praise in private moments. Even when resources are scarce, genuine worship thrives, displaying our deep connection with God beyond material things. It's about transforming our desires to reflect what truly satisfies us, enabling us to praise Him wholeheartedly in every circumstance. Worship should stem from gratitude for God's mercy and justice, allowing us to celebrate His greatness and love in all aspects of life.

    • Forms of WorshipWorship can be loud or quiet and should reflect our true devotion to God. It’s about daily actions and making intentional time for Him, allowing our lives to embody worship, not just our words.

Worshiping the Lord can take many forms, whether it's through loud praises, quiet moments of reflection, or how we conduct our daily lives. Engaging in worship is not limited to church settings; it can happen anywhere. It's important to focus on the intent behind our actions and how they align with honoring God. Whether we are celebrating at a lively event or being still on our own, the goal is to maintain a heart of worship. By deliberately setting aside time for worship, such as reciting Psalms, we can cultivate a deeper connection to God. Letting go of distractions and dedicating moments each day for uplifting thoughts and prayers can greatly enhance our spiritual growth. It's about integrating worship into our lives, demonstrating integrity, and ensuring our actions reflect our devotion to God, regardless of surroundings.

    • Worship in Everyday LifeWorshiping the Lord during daily tasks helps express gratitude for our blessings, connecting faith with everyday life. It reminds us of God's presence and goodness in all situations.

Taking time to worship the Lord during mundane tasks can be a way to express gratitude for our blessings. It’s encouraged to use moments of solitude to reflect on God’s goodness and offer heartfelt thanks, recognizing all that we have—from simple chores to the life we lead. This idea connects worship with everyday life, showing that even while doing chores, we can find ways to praise God. It emphasizes that God is present in every part of our lives, and reflecting on His kindness can bring peace and joy. Additionally, there’s an appeal to support a ministry that aims to spread biblical content more widely, reinforcing the notion of community in faith and worship.

Jesus gave His followers important assignments, but He didn’t leave them unequipped. His power and authority are available to us, if we decide to commit to following Him. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses discipleship, as demonstrated in the Gospel of Luke. The twelve disciples didn’t always have the complete picture or understand entirely what Jesus was trying to tell them—but that didn’t stop Jesus from trusting them with the future of His Church. Jesus’ responses to them teach us about what discipleship should look like, even today. There’s a cost that comes with discipleship—but there’s a great reward, too: We surrender the things that fade in exchange for eternity with our Lord.
