Was this summary helpful?
Then probably why? Because they're probably planted a million prez. And if we perform this live, we're going to be like, what the f**k is this? So it's the first year they're not doing that. I wonder why. It just clips with me in 2019 time, David. I don't like him. So I could interview myself and be like, I didn't like him then. And I don't like him now. And that's the T of it, really. Stu Z2 would have ate a Joker too. A Joker too? And she could have saved that.
Her name is Trish, she's got the fish and all the ghosts. Filthy rich, brilliant, big hot topic queen, and says what everybody thinks she's just true.
Hello, and welcome back to another episode of Just Trish, where the hot topics are so hot today. Oh my god. They're actually overflowing. We might have a five-hour episode. There's just too many hot topics. There's no chit-chat in between. We do not have time for it. Just an overload of a show. It's crazy. It's wild. It's wilder than my wonky eyelash hanging off my eye.
I forgot to confirm here today. Just a lot is happening. Tried the hot honey rub at Wingstop that Tana suggested. None of my fav. I actually preferred the one with sauce on it. It was a little dry. But we always had time for our sponsors. We have Home Chef, Caraway, Home Cook Wear, Morgan and Morgan. Stay tuned for those ad reads in the next 20 minutes because they are a fire.
We also have added two new shows to the Arizona Trish tour. We did a second show at Atlantic City, and a new one at Foxwood Casino in Connecticut. I guess I'm a casino performer these days, because we're going to all the casinos, which is so funny, and I love it. It's so weird. I always think of old people at casinos. Like when you go to Pichanga and Smacki-Latch, it's like a bunch of old people. Isn't the lost city of Atlantis?
I was such a bad girl cuz I was gonna try to troll you like it's the velocity of Atlanta's how are you performing there but I couldn't even know what that is. I thought it was like the Bahamas there's an Atlanta's and I was like you never looked at the velocity of Atlanta? No, is it a movie? It's not just a Disney movie, but I think it's based on like
I'm gonna be so wrong, and I know people are gonna be like, just look it up, but I think it was like, I think it was an underwater, it was a city that got underwater, then it became lost.
Like where in the Caribbean? That's a good question. I feel like it's probably in the Bermuda Triangle is what I think too. Oh, it's a fictional island. That makes me feel better, okay. Where? It's mentioned in Plato's work. Who's Plato? I think that's a philosopher in the acumen, whatever. Girl, I don't know, it's fictional who cares. No one's going to be offended. No one, no one, Lanteens are going to be offended. Oh my god.
I was like, cause I've heard of that. I've heard of Lost in New Atlanta. I don't know what it is. I've heard of it. Then I've heard of like, Atlantis in the Bahamas, which is by the Bermuda Triangle, I believe. And then, yeah, Atlantic City does kind of throw me off. And then I confuse that, is it like in Atlanta, Georgia? And it's not. Atlantic City is a jersey. In New York? Oh, close. Which, right. I don't know you guys, but we're adding a second one there. I guess that was the end of the man's show that said was Atlantic City. And it's the last show of our tour. So we added a bonus one. So we're like, let's just keep this tour going.
Very Taylor Swift of you, just out of the day. I know. I just, I remember doing The Trisha Show and I'm like, this show is really good. I wish we had more shows. So when they keep offering more shows, but I think this is it. Well, there's might be three more cities, but then that's it. That's really it. Cause I don't even know how I'm doing all this, you guys. I really, I really don't. I was just saying sometimes ambitions overrated. Sometimes I'm too ambitious, excited to do her, but also overwhelming cause I've never.
Travel that much. Yeah, it is a lot for sure. But like it was saying, I think once you get into it, you'll get really excited, especially once you see people's reactions, you know, then you'll be like, wow, this is what I was made for, like the Billie Eilish song, you know, like, yeah. The meet and greet I love. I was wondering if people just ever did a meet and greet tour, whereas like you just go around in the cities and you're like, let's just meet.
I'm ambitious in the sense of like, why did I need to do a full show when people are just on stage talking? It's crazy thinking about all the people that are going on tour and it's just like hanging out for an hour. And then here you come with us. So much. And the reason my voice is like scratches, we were doing all the pre-recorded stuff and I was like,
I have all these like cover songs I want to do and all these costume changes. I'm like, oh, I'm going to do like the black parade. And that's like literally the hardest song in the whole world to sing. Like as I was doing it, I was like, why do I think I could do this? It was so hard. I was like screaming. They're like, I'm scared. You're going to like, I don't know. Anyways, I am excited. I'm just, it's just a lot. It's a lot to play on. But I'm excited. It's going to be great. And yeah, the shows are sold out, which makes me excited. And I know they're going to be great and they love it. But
There's a lot. And then also we have our Patreon and patreon.com slash justtrish. We have new headshot this month. The headshots are going strong too. These are another one that I'm like, oh my gosh, I have to keep up. It's just a lot to keep up with these days. This is our headshot. Look at that. Not Photoshop at all. That is how I look. I love it. I love this photographer. She really does that at me too. Perfection.
skinny jaw. You do look like Wendy Williams a little bit. I will take that. Yes. What part, the hair or what? Something about the forehead. Wow, I love Wendy. I really think I'll morph into her. Once I'm on that robot, you're not sponsored today. I think I'm going to morph into her. Get your headshots today. We also
We reacted to Joey Graceffa reacting to Gabby Hanna with Escape the Nightmare. We have Joey Graceffa coming up this week and so much fun. It was a key, it really was. And weirdly a little passive aggressive on your end, which I love. Really? Why do I get like that?
I really loved it. I'm so unaware of it either. As you keep going, we talk about you. Yeah, we're kind of shady, but like, we make funny. I make funny you, but it's like, oh, it's cute. And it's like, probably doesn't watch. And you're like, doesn't know. And he's like, what the fuck? What did I do? He knew a lot of details. I think he was good. Really? You think? OK, because you know, it's long. He said he's seen clips. I know. I get like, weirdly like, I don't know. I think I like to tell on myself before. I think when I do collars, daddy, where I'm like, there's probably a clip where I'm talking. I just need to like, tell on myself before.
But it's great. It was fun. Yeah, it was fun. That's gonna be good. Our patrons amazing everything is wonderful stay tuned for bonus hot topics year of the snake over there Happy Chinese New Year. Oh my god. This is the last crazy. I know I tried to fix it. I don't even notice it It's too far for us to really okay. That's driving me. That's a little bit, but I just can't fix it. Yeah, if I fix it on it, but I'm far away. Yeah, just keep drawing attention
I feel like, you know, it's always when my glam does not feel, not that it's not not great. I did forget here today, so I have to do my own, but it's just like, I always feel a little, not myself, which is weird, because surprisingly, the one where I've had no makeup today of like, no fire. Yeah, that one did really well. But I guess we're talking about David. Let's talk about David. What has he posted? Nothing. I tried to listen to his views podcast and some more.
so boring and I'm not just trying to be mean because obviously his vlog was entertaining but like honestly like they have like a bunch of guests they have like five people in the room that you never heard of it's like Natalie's sister talking about this guy she's dating and also like I listened to you guys I was trying to find a hot topic in there and I was like
I mean, and it's only 40 minutes, and it was 38 minutes of them talking about finding a guy in Australia for Natalie's sister that no one even knows. And I was like, okay, T, but also what? He must have gone. He had to get a cash deal to come back for that because there's just. Oh, yeah. I don't think he did it out of passion for podcasting. He just needs to be in a style. He just hates it. He's like, no video bare minimum. Like the bare minimum time as well. Yeah, it's literally like 42 minutes with ad reads, with ad breaks in there.
All right, go off. More power to him. Maybe he has his $20 million deal for that because snooze fast. There's like nothing. And I was like, God, I never hear anybody talk about it. So there was like three episodes that have been posted. I'm making what? I was driving home from somewhere. Oh, my dance are auditions. And I was like, let me just listen to this. And I was like, nothing.
Boring. Not here. Chinese New Year. Happy Chinese New Year. See you at the snake. Thank God for the New Year. I'm sorry, but this is January. It was old year. It's been rough. It's been rough. Just so mentally. I thought I was doing okay because I tried to stay away from the news, but I think I've just been officially mentally drained.
Yeah, it's hard to escape it. And there's a lot of, you know, negative vibes out there. Any excuse to a fresh start? I'm awful. So I put on my little snake hat today. Like, let's get into it. Let's get into this theme. Is that a reputation one or is just a snake hat? Just a random snake hat that
I don't even know the lore. I think I found this hat somewhere. I don't even remember. I don't remember. I did put it in the washing machine though. Did you really find it out in the street like in the open? You're just like, I don't take this hat. I think maybe Darian got it from me or something. I didn't purchase it myself. Okay. Okay. Is what I'm trying to say. So I don't know. I don't remember the lore, but I did find it and I was like, this is, this is good snake representation today. I'm like, I'm really channeling. This is, I feel like my year, year of the snake. We have it on your arm all year round. Yeah, exactly.
Um, I didn't meet. Oh, yeah. Oh my god. You teased the story and I forgot. Oh, yeah. Well, I can give you a hint Okay, the first person I met I met okay. I met someone We talked about all the time the podcast. I know you would have been gagged and I I couldn't post the picture because It had a reveal in it. So they're like, can you wait to post the picture? But I literally was
We can't talk about that. First of all, what? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It'll probably get some hints, but maybe you can guess. So I guess it was the last week was crazy because I was like pre-recording stuff for the tour. I had dance or auditions, whatever. So I was like in the valley. Hundreds of dancers. I had hundreds of dancers, which is crazy. And what if they knew it was for me? I think they didn't know it was for me. Yeah, because they knew. Yeah. Yeah. So okay. Right. So, and then I like, whatever, I like literally turn in an alley, like I park, like I'm walking on foot, I turn in the alley and I see
this person that we always talk about like just and they're like Trisha and I was like what like it was so crazy but before that because of the dancer audition I met a choreographer
who was a dancer on Taylor Swift's Reputation. Do you know any of the dancers would you recognize? Because I saw that tour like eight times. Really? Wait, let me get my phone because I actually took a picture with him. I'm like, wait, maybe I always defer to you, which is like probably the most annoying thing because like I always talk about I hate when people like, oh, this person might know like it's so annoying. Like just say you want a picture with a person. Okay, so I'll show you maybe the person first and maybe you'll get who I saw because of this person. So it was one of Taylor Swift's dancers who's now a choreographer.
I look crazy. Cause I'm telling you this like literally in the alley. You know that one? Yes. Yes. Okay. So he was like, yeah, I dance for Taylor Swift's reputation. And now he's like this big choreographer. So do you know who I met based on that person? I'm assuming I feel like it's someone before me at the Grammys. No, but someone we talk about a lot. No, she's performing. Is that one person?
Yeah, there's a picture I can't show the picture because they're have new hair like I say don't reveal their hair yet Oh my god, and they always are rehearsing wait
Is it yeah, I know exactly cuz I think always post there. Yeah on their tic-tock on my cat's like tic-tock. Look how fierce they look like little brats. No, I am obsessed with them. Manos my girl. I love her so much. I love them all so much, but like Manos my bias 100% but I love them all. I know them all. I follow them all. I love Daniela. I love Yuncha. I love Meg. I literally love them all so much.
I literally thought of you. So my auditions were happening and Minna sent me a DM. I had followed her because I think we might have talked about her. So I had followed her, but she didn't follow me. But I see like a follow back.
I was like so excited that I saw a DM and then they're like we're rehearsing next to your audition. I guess then they knew that it was Yeah, we're rehearsing next year auditions. I was like, oh my god Like I'm literally on my way like how are you guys gonna be there? And I didn't look at the response or see if there was a response And so I just thought like I was like a couple hours away So I was like there's no way there shouldn't be here because I didn't get there so like late at night So I park whatever. There's just not a lot of people At the parking lot and then I start walking towards where my studio is and literally all of cats I Is in the alley just like outside of the dance rehearsal space
And they're like, Chisha! And I was like, and obviously I was like, cats! It was so crazy. They were all like, so nice, so nice. Literally the sweetest girls ever. I love them so much. They were, I was gagged. They all look amazing. I just, of course, you know my awkward self has no idea what to say. And there's so many of them. They're all so beautiful. And as it's like,
You know, my first thing is like, do you want to go on the podcast? Like, I don't know. And they're just so like awkward. And they were all so nice. And they're like, absolutely. They were rehearsing for their next album and music video. And then I know, but they had a new look. So they're like, we can't do the new look.
I think that's because idols, I mean, I'm new into the K-pop world. Like I only know a couple of like the girl groups and obviously like the main one is like NCT and BTS and stuff but like learning the lore through catsai about how they like manufacture the looks and how it's so big that the way that they like make each member have like a distinct look and then they reveal it. Like it is everything. Oh my God. They were so, I'm so pretty and so gorgeous and yeah, I'm like in the middle of them like a little,
I wanted to do the TikTok where I was like, let me not push it. You know, yeah, that's like a song comes up and you're like, and I have this. I wanted to do it. I even kind of practiced in my head before. Um, but I have people who have come up to me in the past and be like, do you want to go eat a TikTok factor with me? And I'm like, I mean, you don't just ask them on the spot like that. So I was like, let me not. And they did look cute. They were in rehearsal, but then
their choreographer who was the reputation dancer. He came up with that dance for the TikTok. No way. Did you come up with that? He's like, actually, yeah. And I was like, that's so teeny. That dance is iconic. And when they all did the thing, I was really wanting to do it with them. One, I'm not confident I couldn't even do it with you. So the fact that I could do it with cats I would have been. So I just got scared and I didn't ask. And I was like, OK, bye.
I left quickly, but I was um, they were very very sweetest girls. I love them all so so so so much and it's crazy like I didn't realize how young some of them are. I think Yuncha is the youngest and she's only I think she's 17 or she they're just from 17 or 18, which is crazy because like oh really? Yeah, I think like Lara is a little bit older. I think in like her mid 20s
I think she might be the oldest, but yeah, that's crazy. The age, I started at like 16, so I think she's either 17 or 18 now. Oh my gosh, so young. They're so young. And I know they're gonna be fierce. Like, touch was already like a bubbling under song. Like, it got pretty big on TikTok and stuff, but I feel like they figured out their sound, their look, and I think 2025 is gonna be fierce. And even their Instagram.
It's great. They are like a Western k-pop group, meaning like they mostly speak English and stuff, but like whenever they post any of them, like I was looking at Daniela's Instagram this morning posted like 11 minutes ago, have 50,000 likes. I was like, damn. Really? Yeah. That's wild. So they're just like humongous. Yes. Which is like so crazy to me. They look like, they just look like pop stars. Yes, they have the it factor. They do. All of them, all of them are like so gorgeous and so pretty and so nice. And I was just like,
And I love that you represent a different culture that you bring something different. I love them so much. I know, I thought of you. And then they were wrapping up because I was like, oh my God, I literally want to text you because it's pretty close to you. And then they were finishing when I got there. Because I got there so late. I was surprised they were even still there. So I was just so excited and everyone was really nice.
Yeah, and then of course, yeah, I'm always like so, I'm literally so awkward, I'm always just like, I don't even know, I'm just like, all right, bye. I don't know, I wish I could be more social and cute, because they were so social and nice, and I just was like, I ruined it all the time. I think they also didn't look good, because I was at the recording studio, so I couldn't even like get ready. I just assumed I was just going in like my sweats, so I didn't look cute, but. But they're like, I mean, that's them looking like fierce, whatever, but they're also like cool. I mean, granted, they're so pretty, so even like in their natural like- That's what I'm saying.
Like they were also in sweats, but like they're little cute tummies are out and mine are just sort of like They do love like a little bralette or crop top and they're like the low-rise sweatpants And it's like the last stomachs you've ever seen. They all are so snapped. It's actually sick every time I play Justin and Price I try to like look like them because they literally are like dolls. I love them so freaking much. I don't think I've ever been intimidated by beauty before I like that like I see a lot of pretty girls and I'm like damn I wish I could look like that, but that was like another level
I literally have photos of Menon saved in my like camera because like her face card is so Just beautiful unfathomable that I'm like I have to save because of her paparazzi photos with like art and I'm like how how How like just actually perfect skin everything I was I was in awe I was like I wanted to post it right away, but good thing they told me they're like
because I probably would have. You would have not have melt down. I know. They don't make Takwari on. They're like, yeah. They were so nice. Love, love, love. And then like the CatSight's winner too. And they have like, there's like a different platform called Weavers that like they mostly post on where a lot of like K-pop acts are on. And it's so funny like seeing all the leaks from like Weavers because they're just like so normal and cool. Yeah. Like you said, I think because they're like so big and like are like international. It's like K-pop, you know.
But they were just very like, yeah, just so normal. Yeah, like, but just so beautiful that I like couldn't get past the normality. But they were like so nice. And I was just like, damn. And they were just like, I don't know, bubbly and sweet. And I just, you know, you should watch the Netflix show and like whenever you have like free time because it is quick. It's like a quick one. It's so cute. Like,
I mean, it's like fierce and competitive and it has like the little bit of drama to it. But I love seeing girls who are like passionate and work hard. And I think knowing like the group now, I first going through it, I didn't know like what the final group was going to be. Right. Because I just didn't know about Kat's side until the show. So I feel like now that you know the girls, you can see their journeys and not get lost in like the drama of it, if it makes sense. I know Misha and Chapel just watched the over Christmas, they watch pop star Academy.
I love flexi they did like a instagram live and they're talking about how they were just watching pop star academy on it and watch another chapel roan is watching it i'm like done done performing at the grammy is crazy she's gonna win the sponsor of this podcast home chef we love home chef because it takes the guesswork out of dinner

I think I think Chapel will probably at least win Best New Artist because she is like recording Academy darling I think at this point when you see like you know she's collabing with like Elton John and stuff yeah and then my prediction is Best New Artist and maybe song or record of the year for good luck. It should definitely like what is more than that like what would be a winner next to it. There's other
Let me look at the full list of categories. There's that one Shabuzzi song that your friend Shabuzzi. He is my friend. Yes. And it was like, I think it was one of the top running number one songs on the board chart. Yeah. Is it the one, two, three, no one? Yeah, I think it's that one. That was good. God, I do love him. I need to hit him up. He was another one who's like so polite. You're just like, I don't know if he's actually from the South or what, but like he literally was so nice and so polite and was so sweet and like humble.
I love people like that. I still think chapel should get it though. I just feel like that song is truly everywhere. Like literally Malibu sings it every single day. Like every day she sings chapel. It's crazy like around that. Oh, she sings have to go. She loves like randomly. Just out of nowhere. We're just walking back from lounge. She's only on this tree. She just starts jumping and singing this on the street. She's like, Hey, I love that. And she's too. And I'm like, and we I don't like listen to music in general. So she just heard it a few times. And that's like her song that she goes to.
Um, for record of the year, it's now and then by the Beatles, Texas hold them at Beyonce. I know. I don't know how they snuck in. Are they all dead except for like one? How the hell is the Beatles nominated? That's actually crazy.
Texas Holdin' by Beyonce, espresso by Sabrina Carpenter, 360 by Charlie XX, Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish, not like us, Kendrick Lamar, that was another huge one. Good luck, babe. By Chappell Rohn, Fortnite by Taylor Swift. So I think record of the year, my prediction is record of the year will either be
I kind of feel like it might be not like us, to be honest, like Kendrick Lamar. It's the Drake diss track, and it was so popular. What? Do you know it? How does it go? No, I don't know it. I didn't really get involved with the Kendrick versus Drake, but I know it was a huge, huge song. You've seen it all over TikTok. Yeah. I heard that song.
I think if you hear it, you'd probably know you'd recognize it. He's a Super Bowl halftime show, right? Yes, he's performing at the halftime show. And then Song of the Year is Shibuzi, a bar song, Birds of a Feather by the Eyelish, Die with a Smile by Lady Gaga Bruno Mars, Fortnite by Taylor Swift,
Good luck, babe. A chapel, not like this again by Kendrick. Please, please, please by Sabrina Carpenter and Texas Hold'em by Beyonce. And the difference is like Song of the Years goes to like the songwriters. So I think, like, Good luck, babe is such a beautifully written song.
So I think if it was going to win one, it would win Song of the Year. Chappell wrote it, right? Yeah, she's I think she wrote it with two other people. Yeah. Yeah. So I kind of think Record of the Year might be like Kendrick Lamar for not like us, but then Song of the Year, good luck babe. And then Best New Artist was Chappell. Because I think it would be in between her and Sabrina Carpenter, although I do love Dolce, and I would be gagged if Dolce.
Yeah, as best you are, this is Benson Boone, Sabrina Carpenter, Doji. I'm gonna pronounce this wrong, so sorry, Krong, Bing, Rey, Chapel, Ron, Shaboozie, and Teddy Swims. That kind of thing, Chapel, just because she really did have an insane year. I know Sabrina did too, but I do think the fact that she's just been around longer will weigh her down in that category. And I think, album of the year, I really do think it'll be Charlie XCX.
Yeah, people did go crazy. Yeah. And then I think Sabrina will come through with like a pop vocal album, which is like just the pop category. Because I don't see her walking away empty handed. It's like Sabrina Carpenter. I only see it because it's like, I love Sabrina. But I do feel like she's like Poppy. And I feel like sometimes the pop girls don't get the recognition. True. Very like Ariana. Yeah. Very that. Britney Spears, you know, like a Katy Perry, even with Teenage Dream, which is like
One of the biggest albums biggest pop albums ever. Yeah, I didn't get anything No one's world. No one's sorry. Yeah, Kristin. Sorry Katie
Damn, okay. Well, yeah, Sabrina is so good, but yeah, I fear that. That's true. Sometimes the pop girls who really do make just the fun pop music do get slept on. You are right about that, actually. But please, please, please is a really good, almost little country. So I think maybe she can at least get a pop vocal album. But even at the VMAs, she didn't win, I think she only won one VMAs. When it's crazy, because her videos are so cool, her videos are amazing.
And we're like all instantly viral. So I at least see pop vocal for Sabrina, but we will see if my predictions are right. I'm at least excited for this year because it's the girl of the year, you know, so I love it. I know. And even like the boys, I mean, we love a shapoozy love a Benson Boon, actually. He's nominated? Yeah, best new artist.
Yes, he, I don't remember how far he got, but he was on American Idol. I love those people who don't win American Idol. I don't like more famous than the people who don't. I know a team. Like Jennifer Hudson, she came in like fourth or fifth or something and it's like crazy. Was it Taylor Hicks that won her season or something crazy? Jennifer, was she the Fantasia season? Well Fantasia wouldn't make sense. Whoever was like a runner up in Taylor Hicks season is wild. Captain McPhee was the runner up for Taylor Hicks. No, I thought she would, what was she? Yeah.
I remember that when you win, you're bound to all their contracts and they own you so you don't really have a chance to break out as an independent artist. That is so true. I mean, Catherine McPhee really is so good. You're right. You were on that season, weren't you? That's our number one fan. That was so funny. When you came out of there, I do love Catherine McPhee. His fear, she may not love me though. I always am like,
I don't know. I think it was too critical of her relationship. I'm so sorry. I need to stop doing that. I just need to stop being just so judgy. I really, I really think I'm like in this new era, but there are some times where I catch myself. I'm like, does it affect you? No, but I guess it's a whole window of podcasts is getting your opinions on nothing that affects you at all. Yeah. I love having a fluid opinion though, you know, like it's changing new information, different perspectives.
I think I saw her in person and I wanted to immediately apologize. I was like, honestly, your love is beautiful. I'm so sorry. What? Your love is beautiful. I mean, they look very happy and sweet. And like, he, you know, he looked just older and just like a little older gentleman. And I was like, I'm so sorry. I just avoided eye contact, hoping she'd notice me. I was so excited too, because it was backstage at death becomes her and it was Megan healthy. Obviously in that show. And so it was like a smash reunion.
And I was the only other person backstage and I just like wanted to soak in that moment, but I didn't feel worthy. That was the moment where I was like, I need to just tell, I need to tell, but she probably doesn't care or no, but I do love Katharine McPhee. I loved her in Smash.
Where were we going without the runner-up titles? Oh, yeah, yeah. Except if you're out there, I'd love to interview you. I did love Taylor Hicks. I remember his winning song was, Do I Make You Proud? Yes. I loved it. I bought the singles. I do want to make you proud. Like, I really, I was an American. I will stand for him. Me too. It's sober that you bring that up, though, because for some reason, I had a dream about the girl who was runner-up in Fantasia season, Diana DeGarmel.
I love that you remember. Did you marry Ace? She married Ace. Oh my god, you were. They were in Joseph and he was going to have her dream come together in the band ages. They saw that. Oh my god. Yes. Yes. I forgot about that. I was gay. I was gay. But they were married and they were so good. I was like, oh yeah. Oh yeah. That is so funny. I loved her. I loved her in the drama. I thought she was so gay. For some reason I had a dream about her last night in that song.
Which one was hers? Dreams, I guess we're just made of dreams. Nothing else matters as long as we believe. Was that her song? Yes. Like her, it was supposed to be her wedding song. Yeah, you know when at the final two, they each had the original song. Oh, yeah. And that was hers. Literally, I don't know why I had a dream about Dream by Nana DeGarmel. It's so random.
I didn't dream about a dream. I like David Archuleta. Was he that season or was he a difference? He was. He lost, right? He did lose. He was runner up. I always remember because there's that one viral video of like the girls who were like, have you seen it? It's like these like 10 year old girls. There's like a group of them and they're like have their David Archuleta signs and then they announced David Cook was the winner. It was David Cook.
David versus David, and they announced David Cook, American Idol, and then all the little girls are screaming and literally having breakdowns. I would too. That's wild. No offense, David Cook. I don't know where you are, but I don't even remember his song. You should remember the songs they sang or their vibes. No idea. I know he had a guitar.
Oh, they always do win. Yeah, like I said, the guitar is a big American Idol trope. I heard David Archilada. One time David Archilada reposted me. We share a common friend Jeremy. Yes. And he like, I posted them about Jeremy and then David Archilada reposted that. And I was like, that's so cool. The gays love David Archilada right now.
He is where it's at. He really is. His songs are so good. He's kind of... He played Joseph, too, not too far long ago in Salt Lake City. Oh, he's in Salt Lake. Oh, going on tour in Salt Lake. Maybe you can see him. I think he's in West Hollywood now, no? Did he move? I think he is. No, I don't know. I just think of him as Utah through and through, because he performed up in Utah. Okay, got it. I think he moved. Mormon, ex-Mormon come to West Hollywood. I love David Arteleta.
God, I really do love American Idol and Clay Aiken was just doing a bunch of press lately. What was he doing? That is a good question. I saw that he did some interviews. I saw he was on and he was just, must be have an album or something coming out. His son is like a teenager now. I was like, God, I remember when he had a baby. It's so wild how? God, I remember Clay Aiken too, like winning. And that was like 20 years ago, which is like so crazy. Runner up.
They like Ruben. They were on Massinger together as the turnips. They did it together. Yeah, it was so cute. I knew too. That's only one time I knew I never know. Massinger people, but.
I knew Clay Aiken's voice. He had the, if I was invisible. Oh yes, I did like that song. The album is so good. Oh, in that video, he was in Hollywood Walk of Fame. I just, I wanted to be an extra in that so bad. I could just watch you in here. I love Clay Aiken so much. Okay, who was it? What was it? Would you look up somebody here? I looked up what he was promoting, what Clay Aiken was promoting. He was promoting a holiday song last month. Maybe that was it. I love that.
What a move. I love my last Google searches at City of Atlantis and Clay Aiken. So we're off to a raging start. I like that you can look it up though. I'm like.
I should have a computer to do a lot of things. I would be looking stuff up all the time though, and that would be so distracting, and I would never be attention. It's like a balance. Some things are just too unserious to Google, girl. We get into some weird tangents, yeah. It's just kind of lit up well. My own peeve, and not in here, obviously, but in general, when people like, now that everyone has a phone, it's like, let me Google it. And I'm like, can we just like,
Like if you're, you know, oh, you know, oh, oh, I think it was in 90 seconds. No, I wasn't think it was, I'm googling it and I do that too, but it is so annoying. It's like, do we have to know the right answer?
I guess, but it just- Time in place. Maybe, yeah. There's some things that, it's okay just to say, I don't know, good question. Yeah, I guess. Not let me Google it. When there's like an argument, if someone knows one thing and then the other, I'm like, I guess I do do that, though. That is quite annoying. In usually Moses is right, actually. I usually know the ages, you usually know everything else. Yeah, you are. You can clock the age pretty flawlessly, yeah. It's the only thing I can remember these names. I remember nothing else.
Yeah, it's coming back, I think. No. Crazy. No Katy Perry, Karen Endwood, isn't he? That's crazy. All right. Who are the other judges? I think the same. Luke Ryan Lionel Richie, Ryan Seacrest hosting. So everyone, it's the same except for Katy Perry. Ryan Seacrest is still hosting. That's crazy because he's doing a little fortune at his radio show.
I mean, there's another one that's just like take a break somewhere. How are you doing so much? That's, that's crazy. Oh, can you even say that these days when you are all all over? I know. I need to take a break. No, I don't need to. I love being booked in bed. I'm sex in New York and I'm not going to see Moses in the cans. I think I'm just like, so it's like weird. I get like weirdly homes, because I just in London too. And I'm just like,
I don't know, I've been really emotionally, I don't know, I don't know, it's so weird to be away from family. Because you don't need your whole life, you wait to create a family. And then it's like, bye, I'm gonna go leave and not be with you. It's so weird. And we're working together every single day, so I think that's why it's so hard. It'll be quick though.
Yeah, I'm excited. I am looking forward. I am grateful, grateful, grateful, but also I'm sick. I wish I could stay with me, but it's so hard with little kids, maybe when they get older. But Elvis is an routine, and Malibu has her classes here, and we're gonna get through.
Yeah, I mean, and it's also a good cause and then I kind of cause as well, you know, first Oh, no, it's like literally like my literal dream and then yeah, it's all for a really good charity and came to me fun and like that I'm really excited about and I always wanted to get back more even though it really is I feel selfish because it's like my show and it's like the funnest thing ever but I am excited I am that's my 25 resolution. I need to be more philanthropic
I need to go. I really do want to do like when people go make those giant things a pasta. I like so glad that she did it. Yeah. Did you ever do you see your tic-tac? Like 20 million views and during the fire, she was making huge bolognese actually. And she was like macaroni. I was like, I donated to her. Cause you know, they would be like, Oh, if you guys want donate, but I was like, I really should do that. She was like boots on the ground. She made literally, I think she said like 400 meals of bolognese. I was like, how'd she really live in my dream?
We need to do that. Kat, you can make that, but it's just crazy. It's just her and her boyfriend doing it. I'm still in awe. I'm still like, Joey too. You guys will see on Thursday episode. He's just talking about finding dogs on the streets and taking them on fostering. I was like, wow, you're like an angel. And that's how he spends his days. I was just doing that all by himself. I was like, I need to do more. I need to do more of that for sure. That's my goal. We've actually even give out these, I guess. I was going to tell you. I saw you. Yeah. We have our annual tradition of
Are red envelopes. Oh my god. I have mine from last year. I always keep it. Oh, you do. Did you ever spend your money from last year? Did I get the right ones? Yeah. Okay. No, it's more. I just want to have those cute thunderings. Oh, you want the Mandarin? Oh, yeah. That's been. Why are there Mandarin? Shall we yours? That's for Oscar. Oh, because of the faces?
I do love little faces. I think it's the same as us. No, everything is the same. It's just, it's cute. It looks like a skirt. It's cute. Okay, that is cute. See, there's my, did you spend yours from last year? No, I think I did. Yeah. I stole my Mr. Beast $1 bills, but I think I stole my $2. But at the lucky, are you supposed to spend, I don't know what you're supposed to do with this?
I don't know. I like the idea of like one day having a lot of them. Okay. For me, it's like a shrine. What if we're doing this in 20 years and each year we have all these red envelopes? Has anyone, the people have done a podcast for 20 years, huh?
Who's the longest running podcast you think? Adam Corolla? Adam Corolla? Who's been doing it? There's another person I don't want to say name. He was even before Joe Rogan Adam Corolla. And also what's in that green? Tom Green. Tom Green. He doesn't have one anymore. I'm saying like longest running.
Right, no, I'm just trying to think who were the first. So here's one of the first. Joe Rogan experience launched in December 2009. The skeptics got to the universe launched in May 2005.
This week in tech launched in April 2025 April 2005 sorry Adam Corolla also launched in February 2009 so almost the same length as the Joe Rogan experience Wow
and radio lab launched in 2002. And still going? Yeah, that was radio lab. Is that NPR? Like part of the radio show before transitioning into a podcast? Oh, okay. That is not really like a concert or something. So like the original podcasters are talking about an app crawl, or you said one was two is a five before that? Well, these are still going, but I think there were others that just didn't. Well, that's what I was saying and wondering is like who's been doing this? Like that's almost 20 years. I mean, you guys, what, 15 years?
Oh, 16 years. It's all the time. Yeah. Well, they say this American life started in 1995, but that's impossible. It's like, right here's where the big say is a bargain. No, no, that doesn't count. That's so silly. It's like a TV show that's not like, no, we always wear YouTubers.
Like, I had a podcast. What was my podcast? Mine was like 2000. I wonder if I live in that scary house, just while I had a podcast. So I was like, I was very close. I think it was the dish with Trish. I wonder where it was all right. I put it on SoundCloud. I wonder if they're like still there. Probably not. Packets once just got on all my dish with Trish for some reason. It's like, why don't they just leave it up? Why don't they take one now? So weird. They were still there. When they fired me, they were like, we can't afford your show. And I was like, you pay for nothing. I edited it at my house. Like, that was the weirdest thing.
That was so odd. I'd like to say you're booting me off the network. They got me nothing. I don't know. That was so odd. It was so weird. Love podcast one. They have comic walkings podcast and I want to be on it.
From Grammy nominations, I guess the other big nomination moment was the Oscar nominations. Yeah, I finally was like, let me get into this Amelia Perez tea because I was just like the controversy around it. Yeah, 13 nominations because I am not.

But everyone is so upset about Amelia Prez and it got 13 Oscar nominations. Did we ever watch it? Do you want me to watch it? I never watch it. I need to watch it. But I did a deep dive and watched a lot of like video essays about Amelia Prez and specifically like a lot of from like the Mexican perspective because I really want to that team in particular because last time we talked about it, I just didn't, I like saw a tweet about it but I didn't know what was incorrect about it like culturally. Yeah.
And then getting into that, see, I'm like, hmm, y'all are making some points. Yes. I'm like, okay, the director, as we said, is French, said that he didn't, he knew all he needed to know about, you know, Mexican culture. That's wild. And then I didn't know how like the movie literally is about like the Mexican experience. Like it's about these characters that live in Mexico City, but it was filmed in France. So these people, like the people that live in Mexico are like, this doesn't even look like Mexico City.
like a lot of like cultural things were just incorrect and then they said really the only thing that kind of makes sense is that they mentioned like Mexican people like football is a big deal to Mexicans right and that was pretty much really the only thing he got correct and then like obviously the big thing is like the
like the cartel and stuff too and like again he just didn't have like the cultural knowledge of like what that means you know and basically just made Mexico look like dark scary like there was no like it didn't give the full like color yeah to like living in Mexico City you know like the character behind it yeah yeah so I'm like you know what that is honestly I know I had seen that too and like
rightfully so. I would be upset too, especially like, what are you doing? They should have at least a consultant on there or something like that. Although, really, when it comes down to it, I feel like when it is so much about Mexican culture, and I feel like you probably should have someone who's
immersed in it, you know what I mean? Like, I think with like, if it's like a fake world, like Oz or something, there's no Aussians that are going to direct it. But this is like so real and so true. And in like Mexico, it's almost like a character in a sense and that it plays such an integral part of the story. Like it's not just like, this is a story that takes place in Mexico City, like the culture.
And the city of Mexico City, the backdrop is so important to the story. It pushes the narrative forward. Can you even love and appreciate it? All you can. But I feel like unless you're from there, you just don't have that sense of protecting it and loving it and showing it. And even the dark parts being there's still heart to it and the people of it. So I should probably see it myself as well. Although, I don't know if I have much insight to add to that.
I hear all the people and I'm with them. That would be frustrating. Yeah. And then also just from the audience perspective, even take out that controversy, I suppose, it's one of the lowest reviewed movies on Letterbox right now. Out of all the awards nominees, it has the worst reviews. It's so weird. And it is so weird. And then it has the formula of
an Oscar movie. So I guess that's like a big commentary about it. It's that, you know, it has, it's a musical and it's about a drug cartel and has a transgender woman. Like it has like all the ingredients of like an Oscar movie. But there's so many movies that have that this year. I know. Especially like Wicked B, when you talk about musicals, like, how does, how does it get more than Wicked? And again, I haven't seen it, but I've seen the musical numbers here and there from it.
And it is wild. And maybe it's supposed to be parody and satire and I'm not quite getting it, but it's bad. I mean, the musical numbers that I've seen are horrible, but maybe it's like part of it that I'm like not getting, you know what I mean? That's what I thought to you. And then, but everyone makes a very convincing argument. Again, that's why maybe I should just watch it, but I don't know. Also, this teach you is that it's like playing in theaters in Mexico and like the government had to get involved because so many people are like requesting a refund after seeing it in theaters in Mexico because I think
they go in excited about it because it's oh it's a movie about art like our culture and then they're like actually this isn't the tea so yeah that's that's the worst is when you like disappoint yeah when there's more to it I don't know I didn't know that I guess I don't really know the plot of the movie
Honestly, I didn't know much either. I was just like, it had so much like, oh, good buzz around it. Like the award shows and it's getting all these nominations. And my initial thought was like, people are being mean to Selena Gomez, because I think that was the first big controversy around it. It's like, oh, she doesn't speak Spanish. Well, but I'm like, well, her character is like not Mexican-born, and someone who lived in the States, and then Spanish is their second language. Like she moved to Mexico, Spanish and second language. So it's like part of the character.
Yeah, but then the tea with that is the casting director made a big thing It was like we tried really hard to cast actual Mexican people for the rules. Yeah, authenticity was so important but there was right there like there's no they like couldn't find enough talented Yeah, like the craziest thing that was crazy. Yeah That to me was I remember when we talked about before that was the most wild thing I've ever heard I was like that's so insane I can think like 20 off the top of my head like
That was so wild. It was so odd. And then after they cast Zoey Zaldania, Carla, and Selena Gomez, and then they kind of made it in their, they edited the script to make it like, oh, well, this character isn't from Mexico, but they changed the script to make Selena's Spanish make sense for the story.
But then a lot of people are like, you know, especially like each Spanish speaking country has like a little bit of a nuance to the way that they speak, you know, like my dad is from Peru. He makes one of my mom's Spanish playfully, but she speaks like because she's from Cuba. So yeah, a lot of people are like from the Mexican reviewers, like I can't even like really understand what Selena is saying. Yeah. Yeah. No, that is yeah. I hear that all the time too, between like Spanish speakers, like people who speak to each other, they'll be like, yeah,
Even from like Puerto Rico to Mexico, it's like very much like very different. Yes. So it really is puzzling that like the critics are like making this movie such a huge deal, but everyone else is like booed, tomato, tomato. Is it the director? Is it like he's he someone that is like in the in the world is a mix? Wait, I don't. I wonder if there's other.
I wonder what his other movies are. Like maybe because he's like acclaimed and so they're like, yeah, let's rally behind this. And did you see when they were announced? There's like a video of him reacting to the nominations and like they announced like Cynthia Rivo for Wicked for a Best Actress and he like shook his head. Was that the right timing or did someone edit that? Like there's no way.
I don't know. Like why did he do that? That was so weird. He already has a lot going against him for the so worth season. And then that came out. I was like, hopefully that's like not the same timeframe. It's yeah, it could be just like a coincidence, but I don't know. Again, there's like, you said, there's so much working against them that like, and then to post it too. It's like, you know, some shady person. Somebody was offering food for him food and he was like, that could be. Yeah. Or something. Yeah. Don't talk to me right now. Cause that'd be wild.
Did he get nominated for Best Director? Probably I guess I've had 13 nominations if I got every nomination there is. I guess I need to watch it. I know. I am curious about it because it has so much conversation around it that I'm like, how can I possibly trust the people that are giving the feedback? It sounds pretty fair. It sounds like they kind of know. I don't know. It'll be interesting to see now that there's so much controversy around it.
how will it fare in the onscrews because yeah same with like the brutalist that's another one that has some controversy now wait why what's that controversy so the brutalist has 10 nominations and i think was a big front runner but they're randomly an editor that works on the movie but this interview for like a random magazine
and talked about how they used AI in the movie. And I think the biggest thing was for Adrian Brody, I think I believe he's Hungarian, and they used AI to perfect his Hungarian accents. And he speaks in the movie Hungarian? Or something there's an accent. Oh, really?
Which is crazy because he's like so good at accents, I feel. Yeah, the person with the editors explaining it was like subtle or whatever, like the way it pronounces a certain letter. But to admit that after the strike that happened last year or two years ago now, whenever that was, was all about AI, you know? Yikes. Are they just so against it even for like a little adjustment? I think.
because they literally lost so much work and delayed so much. The strike costs so much money because they had to pause the production and pick back up. It kind of says a bad example. I think if all of a sudden they award in a movie that you say, because the nominations were already done before this interview happened. They already voted on- Who talked about it? This editor. Random editor. Yeah. I'm working at the end. I'm like, what the hell?
And they also there was also a whole scene like in the movie his architect and they have like this montage of like his architectural work and it was all AI generated. Yeah, they did a whole montage of it. So he's on Gary and I wonder what he's missing hungry. I speak on Gary and me.
I also speak Hungarian. And so as a David Dobrik, actually, we're all Hungarian together. Well, supposedly I am. I don't know. I've been told I'm Hungarian. I haven't told him Greek. I don't know. But yeah, he is Hungarian. He's Hungarian and Jewish. It's a good mix. That is interesting. Because I feel like, yeah, I can't be too bad, but I guess
I think generative AI is like the big controversy. It's like when something is created fully, if you type in a prompt, like for the movie, it's like you type architecture, like certain type of building or whatever, like blueprints. And then it just creates it. You could have hired an architect or a designer to create those fake buildings, you know?
Oh, oh, I see, I see. For example, that's a person that could have done that work. But for the accent, that sounds more like, you know, they use autotune, that sounds more of a filter, that effect sound. Yeah. So that sounds a bit like... Maybe they should have used AI for Amelia Prince Spanish. Well, they use AI for Carla, who plays Amelia for her singing. But...
So that's why now Amelia Perez is also getting into it because people looked up the company that did AI on the brutalist and then saw that they also worked on Amelia Perez. And then it came out for her singing to hit certain notes. So almost like, yeah, especially as like a trans woman too, like to hit certain notes. I'm sure that is probably why, you know, so they should have just untuned her, you know,
Yeah, it's weird. There's the whole like AI controversy. I kind of wish they kind of they've been mum on it pretty much from like on the brutalist side. I think the director said, well, it was really low budget. So in order to hit this low budget, like we had to use some AI, but I feel like they explained it a little bit, you know, especially like you said with the accent.
People do get mad. I remember my Christmas show. There was like an AI fireplace, which I didn't know. We had someone randomly put a fireplace behind us during the town show, and I was like, can't believe you use AI. And I was like, it's like the one thing we had AI. First, I didn't even know we used it. But people are like mad, like some people, not everybody. But there was quite a few people like, why the AI fireplace? And I was like, oh, damn, I didn't know.
We can buy it. What do we have? I stock photo where we buy the backdrops, which we have done for my ASMR videos. So I'm like the background slide. Yeah, I guess people are mad, but I guess that's why the Oscar will go to Timothy Chalamet because he is. Yes. Yes. Yes. And no AI. Timmy, God, he's really charmed me. I loved his Isabelle. His the double performance to have like. Pretty good. The Bob Dylan songs. Yeah. He would kind of eat.
I haven't even seen that movie, but I'd give him the Oscar. I think of all the guys, he's probably the best. Honestly, to me, the only movie I think I've seen is Wicked. I do want to see it, Nora. Yes, that one sounds good. Yes. But also left into music coordinator. It's made me a Blake Lively Justin Bouldoney. I was just like, interesting. Why does no one choose to have this in this day and age? I would demand it if I was on set. I'm like, I need it. But yeah. I think she's young, like Mikey Madison. She's young and.
I'm I think it comes out to that I didn't think also that maybe just don't give actors the choice like here's an intimacy coordinate She said they gave her the choice. Yeah, I don't give him a choice. I think just here's an intimacy coordinator You know, I feel like they just should for everyone else around because even maybe it's not her But maybe it's like yeah people being like I felt assaulted watching it or something. You know, I mean I think just play it safe Yeah, yeah, just don't be like hey do you want this but here here they are you know man that
I feel like that would have solved a lot of it. That could be a robot just watching you. Even Google now is like when I Google things, it just goes to the AI response. I was like, not so crazy. I know it is weird. Same with like YouTube, like the AI chat summary is it is where AI can be like a useful tool. But I think generative AI is where a lot of the controversy starts because people just put in a prompt and then it
generates things like Coca-Cola did like a AI generated commercial, like a Christmas commercial. And it just like didn't look good either. It looked like AI, you know? And it just takes, especially Coca-Cola, who has the money to hire animators and stuff, you know. At the corners where they can. And it's also really bad for the environment as well. What is AI?
Generatively, yeah, it uses a lot of like a lot of water and a lot of electricity to generate just like one little image. Yeah, what kind of water is it using? Just take so much power to like Yeah, but not water. Where's the water in the power? Usually it's to cool down things, but I don't know. I mean the monitor is cooling them down. Bring in the water.
it's kind of like the industrial revolution that's the same thing happened it's just happening now in the computer space or programming space is the fear like well nobody will have a job one day yeah that is also a big thing yeah because like editors there's AI that can edit videos you know there's AI that can replace art there's AI that can make do blueprints for buildings like that doctors huh
That's especially doctors. Oh, really? Yeah, because AI can read x-rays better than people can. Oh my god, that's cool. So a lot of things, they'll actually already use it for that. Can AI, like, deliver a baby?
No. Go be a OBGYN. You want job security. But then there's other thing, could AI replace you? Absolutely. There is a humanity to your opinions that I think is truly irreplaceable. I wish I had AI sometime. Just give me my opinion. It would be so much easier.
I would like to. That'd be cool if I could just monetize myself here, using me as an AI, right? Or no, not the degenerative type, the degenerative type, the undenerative.
I'll be the one that doesn't consume water. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever that one is. This whole world, like that's what I'm saying, that all is seriously overwhelmed to where it doesn't feel real warm. So I think that's after my lifetime. Honestly, T, it's very overwhelming. There's only so many crises that I can process at once. I can't process too many big world events. It's too much. To me, it's like our Oppenheimer is AI. You remember when they were all scared of it? Was it the atomic bomb?
That's gonna be us, and they're gonna make this movie about the time we were all scared of AI. Yeah. Whatever happened at the end of Oppenheimer, did it come? I mean, it is based on real reality, so. But someone will make a movie. That's why, like, when that was getting all the wars, I'm like, I trust y'all that it's a good movie, but I want nothing to do again. I would never watch that movie in a million years. No. Not even if they offered me to be the sequel on my list the first. I probably would honestly turn on the sequel, truly. I don't think I could be an Oppenheimer, too. God, it just sounds so boring to even be on the set.
I am curious like good for him cast him that I don't know he was just around
me and everything. That's why, again, I had the same effect with a Millie Prize. I trust you all that is good, but I guess now I just can't trust the critics, Willie Nilly. I think we trust them all that is bad, because everyone's saying that it's not good. I trust the people, I guess. Maybe that's the ticket. People also really liked Oppenheimer.
But I know, but let's sing with Amelia Priest. I have not met one person that watched it yet. So to me, that's a sign that this is not a movie that's coming from the people up. It's coming from the top down. The plant. Yeah. Definitely a top down. Who's the director of challengers? What's that guys name? Luca Guadagnino. And he didn't get out of me for anything no queer because you thought challengers might get bumped because of queer and then queer didn't get damaged. And queer got nothing. Yeah. So no one got nothing. Challengers got nothing. No, they didn't even get score, which is crazy because the score is great for challengers. Yeah.
That's, that's what I'm saying. Something's odd, something's sus in here. And yeah, Netflix did a big push for a million press as well. So it is, like I said, it feels, it kind of gives like AI generated Oscar movie vibes, right? Because it's like, let me, what is an Oscar winning movie? It's like, oh, a transgender drug lord. Yes. In Mexico City. Yeah, it has like musical.
has all the things that it should be. Yeah, and it is. I mean, I think there's always all Dania is really good in it from what I've seen, like in her little clips. Music is crazy though, penis to vagina. It sounds not real. It's easy to sing though, because they are going to just sing talking. Maybe that's why it's getting it. They're like, we cannot
Kiva with Cynthia Rimo and Ariana Grande's vocals. Let's go with this. And also, I love that they're not performing their original songs to the Oscars this year. Everyone's like, thank God. Wait, what? Oh, because that's probably why. They probably planted a million press. And if we perform this live, we're going to be like, what the fuck is this? So it's the first year they're not doing that. I wonder why they're like, damn, this is going to be very embarrassing. Because that's never happened. That's so weird.
But I think you're right, a few years ahead, they'll look back and they'll reveal the truth. We ask AI to make a movie that nobody has ever made before, with all the key points to winning Oscar. Yeah, with all the blood. I mean, Wicked should have won. That just adds crazy. If Wicked wins nothing, that's actually the most crazy thing. I'm really rooting for Ariana. I think because there's so much controversy around everything else, I was like, damn. She gets it. She was funny.
She was great. I really think Cynthia too for like Lee because I'm sorry. I still haven't watched the substance, but it's just like
Marguerite didn't get nominated for it, which is like... That was a snub to me. I... How did she make substance that I love that girl? And she looks great in all the clips. Like, it looks like the dentist made one, and then she's like staring at the camera. I really love all the reviews of the Oscars. I haven't seen anything except for Wicked, but I've seen a lot of clips. Well, I have, and that's enough for me to judge a movie. And, you know, the substance looks great, but Marguerite quality seems like the best part in there. And I love that I mean more, but she already won the Golden Globe, so I think they need to give it to Cynthia for her egot.
She's just so good. I just don't understand the cash. She doesn't want like another shot. I think that also works against Wicked is that literally for good comes out in a year. So a lot of people, I think that a big thing, well, we'll give it to them next year. You know, so that does work against it. But I am rooting for the one movie I saw, which is Wicked. John, you did knock and I'm ready for best. So why? Because like Cynthia said, it's like,
That's kind of the whole drive behind the movie as the director. Thank you to the sponsor of today's podcast, Morgan and Morgan. Recently LA had a bunch of fires where people we knew how to evacuate. The air quality is still suffering from the smoke in the ashes and it's just been a really devastating time for Los Angeles. It's been estimated that the damage is so far total more than $250 billion.
The loss of life is immeasurable and the state and city are still in shock, which is very true. I feel like you may have seen like influencers stop posting about it, but it's still very prevalent. Fires have always been a concern here in Los Angeles, but obviously with the recent ones, it's been devastating. There are claims that insurance companies canceled thousands of homeowners fire policies in the months leading up to the fires.
A lot of people questioning where those cancellations legal. Could this catastrophe have been avoided? Was the city prepared? How will people recover all that their families have lost? Will insurance be able to cover the billions in damage? If the wildfires were caused by negligence, someone must be held responsible. Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm, has helped millions of families in their times of need, just like now.
They were there for the PG&E wildfire and for the Maui wildfires. And now they are here to again help the families that have been affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. If you or someone you know has lost a loved one, a home, a business or property because of the California wildfire, you can check out Morgan and Morgan today. to learn more. Thank you so much to Morgan and Morgan for sponsoring this podcast and for helping people in their time of needs. Yeah, and he had a vision and he was so good. Yeah, I don't understand that at all. That was weird. Was Michelle Yo nominated? I don't think so. No, no, no, she wasn't. She just won an Oscar right when she did the Wicked.
She won, yeah, she won an Oscar for everything everywhere, all at once. And after she won, she went back to the set in the UK with her Oscar. Yeah. They were all very excited for her, and that's crazy. I love how she's been doing press, and she's like, never saw Wiccan. Before doing the movie, I was like, love that for her. Which I didn't sing, and I didn't know Wiccan. They had a big me to do it. But yeah, that's crazy. A period, she was queen.
And then, also the Razzi nominations. I didn't see these. These are the ones I care about. What do you think led the Razzis? Oh, I don't even know. Is it one I would know? Yeah, like it's one that we talked about being a flop. Oh, wait, shoot. What do you want to see? No, June is Oscar nominated. Really? Who's seeing those movies? A lot of people, actually, but yeah. OK, wait, I wanted to see it, but I didn't. Yes.
Oh, Joker. Yes, Joker's movie was seven nominations. And then tied for the six nominations is Borderlands, Madam Webb, Megalopolis, and Reagan, which I didn't even know was a movie, a movie about Ronald Reagan. Well, Dennis Quaid. Oh, he didn't? I know David Hunter. Oh, he saw this movie. But that's a huge Ronald Reagan fan, for some reason. They're the Reagan library right here and see me. Did you used to go on field trips? I probably used to work there.
What did he do there? Good question. I couldn't even tell you. I'm not going to lie. It's kind of fun to go there. Like you have the Air Force one and you can take pictures in there. See the one that had the monkey? Do you have a chimpanzee? Because Michael Jackson, I don't know if a president had a chimpanzee. That'd be crazy, but maybe. He had the movie that time for Bunzo, a Bonzo, and he didn't move it with a monkey.
I thought the chimp was in the White House, so I got that crossed in my brain. Wow, maybe he did bring him. That's up for a razzie. That was pretty good, though. They had a lot of actors, like famous actors in there as different presidents. That's kind of crazy. Yeah, it's six nominations. Madam Webb, I mean, I kind of figure it, although Madam Webb feels like a fever dream for, like, from five years ago. You loved it, I thought. I wanted to love it. Love Sydney Sweeney. Love Dakota Johnson.
I did. I was sat for Madam Lev for sure. But it just, it wasn't good. It wasn't even like fun in like a, I have a very boy movie. Like I have a boy brain when it comes to movies. Like I love pretty girls, cute outfits, big action sequences, colors, big.
big. Yes, for sure. Um, so it had all the ingredients of me liking Madam Web because I have very low brow taste, but even for me, it was like this news for you as the worst. I say doing too. It's not going to be the best picture, by the way. If that wins, that's insane. I
Yeah, but I saw half of the first original one and back in the 80s. It's very different. That was horrible and people love that. It's so different. That was so bad. I was like, I literally stopped watching it. I love that you're judging Dune based on that. It just looks like sand and does nothing great. The newest one is more aesthetic and less story actually. Like those old ones are like a story but very crazy. To me it's giving Star Wars.
Yeah, it's definitely trying to be a different parallel universe, you know. It's awesome, but it's just not meant for us to picture anybody else nominated for it. No, it got, I think, more of the craft, like costumes and stuff. Yeah. Who's your worst for Razzi? Um, I've only seen... You said Joker too, didn't you? No, I didn't end up seeing Joker. Yeah, I thought they saw. I was going to, but then I forgot what I saw and said. Anything else. I saw something else.
I kind of think, I know Borderlands from everything I've seen was terrible. That's Eli Roth, right? Oh yeah. And I love Argonne Green Black, a little girl from Barbie. Oh yeah. She's in that. So, and Kate Blanchett, no offense to the actors in it, but it was just about moving. Megalopolis, I also heard, was kind of terrible too, but... I haven't heard that one. That had, what's his name? He was in Star Wars. He was in... Girls. He was in...
What's his face? I'm like, Adam Driver. Do you know him? Oh, yeah, yeah. He was in that. Yeah. So I think that's my... I had a horrible movie. What did we see? I'm trying to think of my worst movie. There was a horrible, horrible movie. God, what did we watch? I was like, this is the worst movie ever. In the theater? Maybe at home. Because I mean, the one with the motorbikes, you didn't like.
I just think no one saw it. That was horrible. That was bad. I liked it. It's definitely not for you. I don't know who that was. I can't believe you liked it. Like what part of it did you like? The motorbike. Okay. The gangs, you know, the gangs and motorbikes.
Just something about riding a motorbike with other people. Oh, you're feeling it. Did it make you want to like drive one or something?
When I was a kid, we had motorbikes. Did you drive a motorbike? I didn't know that. Pretty crazy. That was horrible. There was one more that was horrible. There was another movie where I'm like, that was the worst we ever saw. I said, where we just watched it recently. Because you saw a lot of Christmas movies. No, none of the Christmas movies. I love all the Hollywood movies. They all slay hot frosty, merry gentlemen. But there was one that was so bad. It's where we talked about it here in the last year. I know. It does sound familiar that you would say that we had a stop out. It was bad.
We must have stopped right like we didn't even finish it God that's so annoying. Yeah, we definitely did stop it cuz it was like so awful. Okay I'm sure someone will leave in the comments because I know we talked about it and I remember you said you had to stop it and you couldn't finish it But forgetting what it was out Netflix. It must have been on like Netflix or one of those But the the biker one was my least favorite that gives me the rosy warm
I really can like pretty much, actually what did I, I saw the hot guy that's in it, Venom, Venom 3, that one was pretty bad, I fell asleep. Who's in that one, who's the hot guy? Oh my God, why am I forgetting his name? Venom 3. Sounds like a Vin Diesel movie. Tom Hardy, Tom Hardy. Oh, he was in the bike rider movie. Was he really? With Austin Butler? I think, can you look it up? Yeah, we have, we have a deal about this today. Do I never heard that name and I was like, oh Tom Hardy's so good in it and I was like, poo, how's Tom Hardy?
Yeah, I think you're right. He is. Oh, you're right. He is in the bike riders. Yeah. Because that was the one that I, no offense, I'm hard. He don't come. He seemed tough. I don't want to scare him or I don't want to scare him. But he was the one I liked the least. And then I googled it. Everyone's like, oh, that's like the best actor that I'm already. And I was like, I did not like him.
I don't mind him as an actor. I think he's hot. He has old Myspace photos that are him like again very Dylan afron code is like up and I'm like that's fierce. Oh, is he is he I think he's straight, but Took photos so I'm all for that. Okay. I'm back in his Myspace day like digital camera. Oh, so that was like 20 years ago
It was a long time ago, yeah. But the photos keep making the rounds because they are great pieces of media. I've never seen that. I'm sure Jamie will answer you. Insert clip. But the movie was just so boring. I literally fell asleep. He had a pad track record last year for movies. That's true. The bike riders. 1984, never. Oh, it's a podcast. OK.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. Yeah. Joker going from winning the best, a Oscar for Best Actor to like a Razzie award. It's crazy. What happened? I think the director didn't really care. Isn't it the same one? Yeah, but I think it wasn't supposed to be a sequel. And I think he just wanted money. Really? And again, it became a musical all of a sudden. I'm very, really proud. I think they thought he was going to eat, but... We're like wicked. It's coming out.
I don't think I ever felt more famous. No, I get scared, you know. When the queens follow you for sure, especially when you're watching them like weekly, you're just like,
I know I'm so excited. I feel famous, especially because I love them all so much. I love this season. And I'm like, especially gay validation, because I love gay things. Same. That's why I'm like, wow, they have acknowledged. Joella hasn't followed me. She's the only one and she's such a queen. I wasn't aware of the mattress today, but I couldn't find someone to do a quick enough for me. No, okay. It's so funny because, again, this is the drag race segment, but we kind of have to because it is so iconic.
Um, what did you think of Joella's look? Because for some reason, when me and Darian were watching it, he was thinking of the perspective as you as a guest judge for some reason. So he was saying for each look like what Trisha would think of it. That's so funny. That is like a dream of my life.
I would have given her a 10 out of 10. I love the take on it. Like, I don't know. One of the judges was like, why would you waste that on this runway? I was like, she's giving quilts to me. That was quilt. Honestly, someone should come out to toilet paper. But other than that, I think that's good. I can't believe we said that because that was my idea of quilts in Northern.
That's what I think of and now it was giving me a little toil paper with just the texture I would have loved to see like a giant to him. I love it She wanted different direction. Everyone else was in quilts, which I love and they were so good But she came out as a mattress. He's like this is the one look that Tricia would I'm like and I said, oh, no, no. Oh my god I said you'd be like Michelle. I don't know what you're saying. Oh my god I love love that you did this I think it is so cool that you did a quilt I like love the quilt and kind of it kind of looks like a pad to me, but I love a lot. Oh, yeah
with your face poking out and you know sometimes you also want to serve a look like today where it's like yeah I'm feeling a little maybe a little chunky maybe I just want to wear something to cover me up and I love that she made it fashion I loved it so much and what she had under there was really fierce when she took it off for the lip sync I was like
Fierce. I thought she looked so good. I love Roux on the bat. I thought that was so clever. Like, I loved everything about it. And to me, that was like the ultimate in camp, how they couldn't see that. I was like, what? It was wild. Like, I loved, loved, loved Saint Joella. What come that runway in a big world? She is beauty and grace. She's what is fabulous. That was the word she is. Me, premier, opulent LA. She is Asian diva. Period. That's all I know.
No, I really know Joelle. I know no one else. You see that's how we used her sound so good. And I was like, I love Joelle. I mean, I literally love them all. Sad to see her go so early because she does. She definitely gives her face, her body, like everything about it. I literally, I tell him it was all the time because I'm going on tour. And so I was like, oh, I could wear that. I think it was Joelle's pink outfit when she took the mattress off.
I was like, I could wear that outfit on the tour. Yes, she looked so good. So she was giving me inspo for my body type and how to dress because so many of those queens, I could never wear those outfits. But hers, I was like, I could wear that one. I did. She looked good. She ate. I was so sad. Spoiler, so sad to see her go. I was like, damn. There's so many good ones. And I truly, truly, I know in the past, I've gotten into beef with other queens because I'm like, oh, they should have gone home over this.
I do think everyone is so good. So it's not like I would say who should have been home besides Joella, but I just I genuinely do love everyone this season. So I guess it's so funny because in the beginning, like when they did the interviews before the season, like all the other girls were like, who's the villain of the season? They all say are yeti and I think this is her villain origin because
Like you can kind of see after Michelle was gave the note about like her makeup being too signature or whatever. I like it. And getting read for her runway was beautiful, but it wasn't as quilted I guess. So I think this is the villain. This is like the Joker. This is the villain. I do think she gets fierce, but I still love it. I love her in jewels.
Love Jules Sparkle. Oh my god, amazing. She's so sweet. Yeah, I do love Ariana. I like her makeup. Like her little, it's like a little ring deer or something like that. I like it's a little deer. It's cute. I thought she was pretty cute. That's why I really do love everyone. On your nerve, love on your nerves. Oh, I was so happy she won because I was like, oh, I feel like she's been like, she always thinks of herself as like the underdog queen. Is she from like Cleveland or something, right? Yeah, she's like the only one from Cleveland, I believe too. Shout out Cleveland. Take it still available.
I love Cleveland. That's my song in her. I love it. Yeah, my family's from Cleveland. I love Cleveland. If Cleveland doesn't sell out, I have like 100 people in Cleveland that'll come. I love Cleveland. So when she said she was a Cleveland queen, I was like, yes, Cleveland queen. That's never heard of a Cleveland queen. And I loved it so much. She is great. And her outfit was amazing. Yeah. I love her presentation. Yeah. I think she should give classes on like stage presence because the way that she works and has like, so it gives the whole character.
They all have really good moments. They all are really good. I'm like, damn, I watch them. I'm like walking in heels and all that. Yeah. It's really impressive. I do love, I love all of them. I really can't pick a front runner. No, I think if Lexi Love does give me a winner energy, but I feel like it really could be any of them. But I feel like because she's older, she kind of deserves it too. Yeah. Even though she's not, everyone's a lot of life. You know? She lived a lot of life. She's very sweet, tries to help everyone out. Yes. And she's, yeah.
But I, oh, I love, oh, she left. What do I want to Lisa? Is she there? She's still there, yeah. I love her. I forgot about her. I need to forget. She's so cute. So cute. I love all her little outfits. And I mean, she's a little sassy, but like in the competition, in the challenges, she was like a little sassy, but. And then she's always so sweet too. Like she gives shade and sass, but then whenever someone is like feeling low, like she goes over and sits with them. Like, yeah, Joella was sad. I don't remember if it was an untucked or in the show, but Joella was sad and sitting alone. And Hormona just came, she's like,
You don't have to say anything to me. I'm just going to stay here so you know I'm here. And it made me kind of tear up. I was like, that is so sweet. Yeah, I really do like her a lot. I love her look. I love her vibe. I like her look out of drag to the ball. Yeah, I love a box. I'm going to be in my Bob there. I think she tweeted that it's from Amazon too, which is even more fierce. Love.
Whee. She was so good. I like the challenge this week too, the little music video challenge. This is a key. I am so good. So good. And Michelle looks good. Every time I look, you know, I looked up her makeup artist, I looked up her makeup artist, I looked at Nick, I DM'd her, I was like, the makeup is.
Fierce and flawless. They look amazing. Rude is too. Everyone looks amazing. Everyone looks so good. I wanted to do a music video like a parroting like RuPaul. Like I want to be one of the runway. I want to be on the runway with like all the other queens. And then I have like the judges. And I thought of you being one of the judges. I would love my- Me as Ross Matthews. Yes. Evie Ross. I would love Lux because she does a great RuPaul. Yes. And then Gigi because Gigi's actually guest judge John RuPaul. Oh, that's good. So cute. And I was like,
In my head, it's a vision. It seems like a lot of work, but it seems like fun, and then I have the queens, and then I want to be on the runway, too, competing, lip-syncing for my life. Definitely cannot do any death drops at all. Hire the queens. I can do it. I think I talked about it last episode. If there's any queens out there that want to move, I think I want to do it. It just seems like it'll work.
I'm just hired these days, you guys. I'm tired, but I need to do music videos for my new, my new tour. The gay EP. Yeah, the part of the gay EP. Maybe I'll just call gay with the rainbow brick and I like that. And then we'll do that. But then I'm like, well, they sue me. I don't know. I mean, if Taylor's not suing you at this point, yeah. Taylor loves it. She's going to come out as a surprise guest in one of the, where she from? What's her hometown, Tennessee?
She's from Pennsylvania. What? Why? Why do I think she's from the South? That's so random. Because she moved to Nashville to do country music. And then she had a little fake country accent for two years. Sometimes she kind of lost it. But maybe she moved to Nashville, Pennsylvania. OK, all the queens are from their Gabby Hanna Taylor Swift. Yeah. Look at that. She's from Pennsylvania. I think she is. So many. Yeah. What part of Pennsylvania is Taylor Swift's harm?
I think it's a small town, I think. Yeah, I don't remember the city, so I don't think it's like a small suburban area, and then she moved to Nashville. I like 16 or something. You know the lore. Yeah, I've been there. I've been through it all.
Well, I love drag race. I don't know who the winner is going to be, but I do think Lexi love maybe. I think she might be deserving. She's been around. She's sweet. Yeah, she's gorgeous. She serves the looks because they're just all so young. So they just give me all young vibes. Just wonderful, but also.
All the case you forgot is does post me on her Instagram back in the day. So she had my little tote with my face on it. Like old school like Trish merch and I'm just like kind of love that. I have a little soft spot for her and. Jules Sparkles are also an OG fan. She like followed all of like I went to go follow like the queens and it was like a follow back for her and I was like wait. Oh gosh. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
So those are my two favorites. But I do love, I like a core key. I feel like she gets a little bit like, I loved her little chicken egg thing that she was doing and they didn't get it. I loved it. And I don't really get this. I'm like, well, of course you don't because you don't know. The artistry. Yeah. I'm saying I feel when people take chances, it's like, you know, that should be rewarded. If you don't get it, I was like, I love that she did something different. Cause that's what I remember from those challenges is her just spinning around in feathers and.
Do you like the name Lydia butthole callers? I was gonna say that that whole life, like that's a turn off for you. It's so off-putting. It's so off-putting. I like that one's just like Lydia B, you know what I mean? The butthole is wild. I just- I just thought you were a team for sure, but it is like- Yeah.
I grew loves it. I get really nauseated about that kind of stuff. I can't stand, even the term now for the queen to use when they don't like something, they go, oh, that's booger. But I can't even say it makes me a little nauseous. The booger, I hate it. Yeah, me too. I get stomach stuff and nasal stuff. It grosses me out. Just my own phobias. The boogers are crazy. Because I used to put boogers on the couch outside.
Did you ever do that? But that idea like literally makes my eyes water. Me too. It makes me sick. Because what I always knew her mind was and one day.
One time I reached over and it was like on this side where I never put boogers and there was boogers. And I was like, oh, someone else is doing it too. And it would gross me out. And I think that's why I hate boogers. Unless you have dedicated there. Oh my god. I was like, oh my god. Because I was like trying to put it where I don't. And I was like, oh, yeah, boogers are gross. Even like Alex Kansani on emergency in our comments telling her story how she like put a booger on the hype house, like the H or something, like on the letters.
Oh, I was at the house, and she was telling the story. She was like, they were all doing these TikToks, and they didn't know. And even that, like, had a fast forward through it, because it made me say, love them all. Yes. And June, I'm like, oh my God, I have the fast forward in this segment. She was a bit like 15 or something when the Hype House was wrong. She's so young now. She's 20. What is she, 2021? I think she might have just turned 21 or something. Yeah. Now, a while ago, Hype House. Yeah, five years ago, she made me, she was 17, 18. Wow. That makes sense. I'd put up a girl on the Hype House.
I remember that was such a thing, that's so crazy. I know, when TikTok was getting banned, and it was the trend of POV you opened TikTok in 2020, and it was so off-putting seeing all that content again. Do you remember your original TikTok sounds that you remember from 2020? Oh my god, not even. I remember the songs for sure. I remember Savage was a big one. Savage, Renegade. Say so.
to say. So I remember those songs like so vividly but it is so weird especially saying Addison now I think. Just cover Rolling Stone like just insane. Yeah so seeing all these like throwbacks like damn she's come a long way. She really has come a long way. And Charlie she's on Broadway. I just got clip of her dancing in and Julia and I was just like
Damn, she's like really good. She's like really good on the stage. I think Joy Fatone is in that show now. Oh, it's so random. Because there's Romeo and Juliet, but then there's Angela. Yeah, so she's pretty good. Good to see some because like, I don't know, Alice Warren does pretty good. I think he moved to Nashville and he's doing his music.
But anyone else, I don't know, who's like the main guy? I remember Thomas, like where's Thomas? No, Cleo. And he like started that. Maybe he let me know our money or our honey. Where's honey? Oh, I think he's still making music and stuff, right? Yeah, I don't know how successful, but I think he's still around. They should do like Hype House 20 years later.
I feel like she's at least a little charitable but I feel like Addison is not.
That's true. I would just, I would not show up just so I could feel like the face, you know what I mean? Like dance moms, I'm always surprised JoJo shows up for those reunions. I'd be like, no, I'm not doing it. That reminds me, did you see JoJo go public with her new girlfriend? No. Congrats. JoJo would be rocking me up because she goes to a relationship, has the break up and be like, I learned a lot. Never going public again two weeks later. Me.
I'm picking her up for a birthday, $30,000. Yes, I do. I accept her as my adopted daughter, my drag daughter. She went Instagram official with her new girlfriend, Kath Ebbs, who is an Australian influencer that she was first linked to in December and calls her her girlfriend. She cute. Yeah, she's cute. She kind of looks like JoJo. Yes. I love that. I love when they date someone else like them. That's so funny.
Um, and yeah, the cop sheet went Instagram official captioned it photos from my girlfriend's camera roll and then Kath also posted on her Instagram and said a bit of queer joy for your feed today, which we love queer joy. I love that, yeah. We're in queer media, so we love to broadcast that. Yes. We hold space in queer media pretty daily, so. Yes. Would we be in queer media?
Yeah, we're all queer here, so yeah, we're queer and we're here and this is media, mama. This is media, we're better or worse. And obviously it's like, am I in queer? I guess so. That lady is so iconic. I wonder if she loves it. I think she does. She like plays into it.
I swear, someone in my like, live chat one of our stream is like, her nephew and always comments, my aunt is the, is the queer media person. Even the nephew is like, that's my aunt. Like, let me know if you want her in justice or something, maybe. I would love. Remember when Timothy Xiaomi did interview? Yeah. He was like,
Yeah, I would be too. I was like, wait, what is our moment? It must be so cool to be her now. It's like every time you do a press junket, like the celebrities are like, oh my god, you're the queer media girl. Yeah. And like, where's my viral moment coming from? It's so good.
But we love Queer Joy. Congratulations, JoJo. I'm coming out as a JoJo Siwa supporter. I really do like her. I feel like with our discussion with Joey and stuff too. It's like, I really feel like she thinks I don't like her or I mean to her. And I feel like I've always liked her and I really am a fan and I love her. I wish I could have her career. I think it's great. I feel like I just give constructive advice, like criticism. Like, you know, that's like actually like helpful. I don't know. And that's because I love her. I didn't love her. I'd be like, all right, girls keep saying whatever.
But I think she listened to my advice because she's toned down talking about like her friends and stuff like that. You know, she didn't just focus on herself. So yeah, I just still I will never get over you being bad from JoJo Siobhan now. It is so care to me. The podcast that has no gas except for JoJo in her JoJo merch room. I want to be in that room. That's 20 minutes long. Wow, that's crazy. That's lower than David Dobrik.
I just love that you're bad on the 20. I know girl with Candace Cameron and Candace Owens. I love that. What's how girl how I want to come on? Come on here. I'll be like so nice. I promise. I really do it on the remix with love Jojo Siwa
Would you cosplay as her? I did cosplay one time. I know with the big bow. Yes. Yeah, I would, but I had to find like a pink look. It had to be a JoJo back in the day. Maybe the boomerang. I'm gonna come back. Like a boomerang. I loved her. I was in that. Whoa, whoa, whoa. That's all I remember.
I remember interviewing her for that era, for that song, yeah. Really? Yeah, because her publicist at the time, this is when I worked at Access Hollywood. Her publicist at the time was Celine Dion's publicist, and then I remember they were like, do you know this JoJo Siwa? We have to do this as a favor because Celine Dion's publicist, and I was like, yeah, no JoJo.
You're like, I'll interview her, go to the set. No, she just came into the office and did like a little interview for her. We got to react to that. I don't think I saw that one. I had the fight. I'm sure it's on the YouTube channel or something. Oh my god. There's a lot up there that I forgot that I did.
JoJo see what's pretty iconic, honestly, to interview her, especially back in the boomerang era. Yeah, the origin story. I know the one with a lot of eras, again, very... Oh, eras of JoJo. Where's that tour? I'll go there. I mean, especially the new one, the car was a bit... I wonder what her next era is. She has that new song that's a fighter, which I kind of like, actually... How's it go? One of my exeses on the...
One of my exes is mean. One of my exes is on out. That's all I know. It's going to be next a little bit. I like it. She and her bad girl, Eric, she back to JoJo. I know she released a music video, but I didn't watch it. I remember she teased a song when she released Karma. And you know what?
Peace of queer history. Good luck, babe, and karma came out on the very same day. I remember because I remember chapel was like on Instagram live or TikTok live and was like, and people were saying, wow, like even Jojo will be some of the same day, big baby for lesbians. I'm like, tea. It was a big baby. She loved it. She's like, yeah, absolutely. That's so funny. It was the year of lesbians and I love it. We didn't keep that energy.
I know. She's still kind of giving bad girls. She's kind of giving like that Pepsi Gladiator commercial in this video. Oh, that's iconic. I wonder how... Yeah, 1.9 million views for this music video, so she's still like... still kicking.
I want to see JoJo and like long, blonde extensions getting like Princess Aurora vibes like kind of angelic and like a pink dress. I would love to see her again. Like soft expectations. Like that is once you do that in a photo shoot, it's really captivating. Like wow. She's done it all. She really has. She really has. She lived a lot of life in her, in her few years. How old is she now 21, 22? Oh really? She's so young. That is crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Anyone. Yeah. Wow.
Yeah, I guess when you're just like around for so long you just think so much older. Yeah Love you Jojo open invitation on just trash and it's open arms. I truly do. I really think you're an icon in the queen To apologize if my constructor criticism came off me either. Yeah So I think I watch my tone these days to try and express how I feel
And I feel like you preface everything with, like, Love you girl, but, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah. There was some pretty big bucks, you know what I mean? I was like, there's some pretty good criticism in there. But who knows who's in her ear making things? Well, exactly. Yeah. Exactly. But I think you could do big things, girl.
Also the Super Bowl is coming again, which is I feel like we just talked about the Super Bowl like even though I guess that was a whole year ago now. Wasn't it the Chiefs in it too? Yes, it's like Love okay I get sad because it's more work for me inside the work the Super Bowl and now I'm like I have to make
Ferdy, like Taylor Swift videos. And I love the Diva, obviously. Yeah, she looked great last night. Looks great. That's a mother to me, but it's also exhausting. I need to watch the game. Yeah. And every time they cut to her, like, make a video about it. That's fun. That's kind of fun, though.
It's like, you think, but it's just like so exhausting because they pants her a lot, you know? And you have to like... She gets paid by the NFL, I bet she does. She should, but I don't know. I know she's gotten the women numbers up for like demographic. Although a lot of people are boycotting the Super Bowl this year. Why? They think that it was rigged to have the Chiefs win when they were versus the Bills last night.
Mom, I don't go here. And I don't think anyone wants to hear a little me. How was it rigged? Like they pay them off? There was like a call that was made that they think the ref, it was in cahoots to get the cheese to Super Bowl because like the Taylor Swift effect. That's what I'm saying. I think it's like all inner workings. I don't want to be a whistleblower.
Yeah, he's like this car he had like a little video He should be happy though because doesn't he like love Taylor. I guess he loves the Sportsmanship above everything else, you know, I like to important. I like him now that he's off BFS like he was trying pizza Did you see his pizza review lately like
And they were like, in the house lady that came by and she was like, oh, can I get by? And he's like, yeah, absolutely. And then she can you have one? Can I have one of those pizza slices? And he like gave her a pizza slice again. But if you read it out of 10, so she's doing the review, she was so cute. And she like did the review. And then he's like, wait, you got Tommy? Because she was just eating it. And then she like nine out of 10. And then she ate it again. She was like, you know what? 10 out of 10. And it was like so cute. Yeah. And he was like, so into it too. And he was like, so, because he had the big pizza coming out of the pizza store. And the lady that just came by was just like, can I have one? He's like, yeah, sure.
I like him. I don't like him on BFFs. I like him. I like that vibe. Yeah, there's the cutesy vibe. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard the reason why he left. Was Brianna talking about this something is someone asked, I think was Brianna. And she said because he just felt uncomfortable talking about young kids. Yeah, I saw him say that too. He's like, no one wants to hear this old guy talk about these young kids anymore. Like, yeah, I kind of like his self awareness. I think because like,
Yeah, like Wendy Williams and me. We're like, we can be older versus like with the young, but he was just did not care. He was just wrong take after wrong take. So I think it was just like, he's the wrong generation and everything. So I'd like that he was self aware to be like,
I'm an old man that doesn't care about this. Like why, you know, so like the self-awareness of it all. He was good on it. But yeah, I love that mentality because it was like, again, this like old guy, he already has his money, had nothing to lose, didn't care who we offended or whatever. There was something camp to that, you know.
Like that's my dream by like when the lottery is to just like really come on and then really be Wendy and to give my real opinions and just be like, you know, because I think now like I think I'm pretty good and I'm pretty real to my thoughts, but there are some things that I just like wish I could go off on mostly men. The women, you know, whatever. But I was like, God, it would be like with nothing to lose. Like I have a billion dollars. Yeah. But what I do in the lottery, I will, there will be a lot of things I have to say that's like, by the way, you know, there's like, there's so much, but yeah. Well, you know, it was replacing him.
I have no idea. We'll circle back when you're in the building. I hope someone does. Giving job. It's so funny I get tagged and stuff and I'm just like, I kind of don't care, but okay.
something, you know. Yeah. But I like Brianna chicken for everyone's like, this is a good church. I'm like, God, what if you have one thing I don't like? It's like, I really do. I feel like I've always talked nice about her and I still feel strong about her. But, you know, there's just things that like, you know, you have to just address. But, you know, I love her. I think she's great.
Yeah, honestly, like, I like her douchey wrappings. She does that so much. Like, I don't really, I mean, you know, that one was like, I like that. I like that. I like that. Yeah. She's cute. Yeah. And she's kind of, I mean, she is eating right now. She has like the sports illustrated shoot. She kind of ate with that. Yeah. Yeah. She looks good. Looked right at the tart trip. So I think they're she's just fine. I think Plambry will come back. I think it'll all come back.
I think the whole thing is right. It's all like PR, people talking about it. I don't know, because it was so much bad PR for her, but it's the pendulum, or she got the good wave and then went back a little bit. But I think it always does, honestly. For sure. She seems like she's been going strong.
Plan Brie come back. I'd love to see plan Brie come back over. What is it BFS? Because it's you know, one day is gone. You might just doing just Trisha. I'm gone. You and Moses are finding like someone else. We just got like Delta work or something, you know, like. She's too busy. I'm trying to get her on this show. She is too busy. Like a Jack waiting person in her to do you. Like I'm going to Lisa. I feel like I'm going to Lisa could do. She would eat so hard.
That's the only problem is when you find a replacement for, you know, your podcasts and they're better than the original. How does that, when does it happen? Let me see what I'm trying to think.
Has there ever been a podcast where someone new joins, it's better? No. Impulsive hack. Maybe when like the Tara Yummy, like when she was new, right? She was kind of better than Zach a little bit, right? Yeah, I think that's the only time that got anything close to views was, are they still going? They're still going out. I mean, with Tara, it was doing like millions. Now it's like, yeah, they really were as I put the hell dropouts and it was such a big moment. And now like, I never,
Yeah, that's a good one. Yeah, kind of during their own thing, but yeah, but obviously like when sorry I mean just like that was kind of suck cuz I remember they try to pin her in the first female co-host and they're like, oh, yeah, but like you have to be a little I would be like, damn, the show did you better without me. If you put a new gay here, I'd be like, and I love gay people. They'll be like, okay. So true.
I know everyone I like left the vlog so I'm like watch their views tank and then they did like really good for 2019. I was like, they replaced Natalie with me. She was in more stuff and I was like, damn, they're kind of eight. All right. Not like 10 million views now. Because you do think that. What did she know? Oh, she left pasta as well. She kind of took, she really. Which was. She really took your spot. The brandy was crazy. She had like merges like, I love pasta. Maybe they thought nobody would notice.
I mean, she's still there. Same person. Good for her. I don't know. I loved Tana and Jeff, like parroting the David's vlog, the one TikTok. No it is, yeah. It's something they recreated. Like, Tana, I think Tana was doing David. She's like, I have a surprise for you. I'm gonna take you to the Seven Wonders of the World. But every sentence, or every like five words, it was cut to Jeff and Jeff is like cracking up. That's so funny. Yeah. And then they play like Abba at the end of it, like Brandon Lane. Oh, and Nancy Queen.
Tina is too funny. She is so funny. We talked about a tiny bit on that limelight and she was like, she is so funny. This actually comes up with like off the top of her head. It's like so good. I know we never fully got into it on that limelight. We were going to and then we forgot. Oh no, here, here we were going to because she's a guest next week and we were gonna talk about it and then literally didn't even mention it as a command. We really wanted to like go in on it. I think she went in on it on canceled anyway, so probably for the best.
She was on that. She's not pressed to wear. She did. When she came here on Friday, she's like, this is my 14th podcast episode that week that she did. I was like, oh, you're watching. She is like amazing because we did, we did Joey, we did Tana, and then we did not online all in the same day. It was just a podcast machine day.
She is very good. She's very talented at it. Crazy. Did you see the animation Meet Canyon about David Dobrik? Oh my god, I saw a clip of it, but I didn't watch the whole thing. What is that? It's too real. It's too good. I should look it up. I don't like that name. Meet Canyon. I hate me. You haven't seen it? No.
Have you ever heard the, it reminds me of like the meat sweats. Have you ever heard that when you eat meat and you get sweaty? That's what meat kidding and sounds like. The meat sweats. I forgot about the name, but you just, it's kind of like a kid playing with a little crane and, and David is in the sewer. Oh my God. Oh yeah, it's kind of scary. Yeah, it vibes. Yeah, play a little bit like this. Yeah, I don't get happy right. Oh yeah, that's like it. Did you drop this? Name it, don't break.
I haven't seen you in years! The laugh is so accurate.
That's right, when people show me stuff. That's why he's like raking, like, yeah, like, no, no, but the only person is like, okay. I love that you love that, babe. And it's not about you, but it's so funny when people like show you stuff and you're just like, wow. And then you don't know what to do. Like, do you laugh? And like, oh my God, that's so funny.
I don't think we didn't watch the whole thing. You're only the first minute. So maybe we get more into it in the third minute. That gives me the same vibe of like when someone sends you a TikTok and you get to pretend that it's funny sometimes. That's what I'm saying. It's worse when someone's like, they're like, watch this. And you're like, I promise I'm not going to like it. I know. Because it's very rare I laugh with someone. Like I usually laugh when it's like me by myself. And it's like, you know, you like laugh because you're like, I don't know. But when you're watching with someone else, you don't like laugh out loud.
Okay, I like that. The only one I loved out loud is the red head. You see that one? The red head and the gay? Oh, the twinkler. No, the one where's like, not surrounding a ring camera. Oh, yeah. And there's like two women. Yes! I think some chemicals smell it. I need the reflex in it.
That for some reason that one like makes me cry and I don't know why but every time I see it if it's on X or tic-tac like it makes me look. It's like her mom and her sister because like I think all of you guys get like spooked like that. The jumpscare, yeah. Just from anyone walking by. Well that's true but then I think it's like worse when it's like that guy because it's like the comments will always be like oh my god because your madness is just your reaction when you just walk up to something. It was broad daylight like nothing's scary. Anyways that one cracks me up but like okay do you like it?
I never heard you ever talk about that. You never brought it up to mean 8 million subscribers. I just saw it. Again, I assumed you already saw it.
while you assume wrong. That's not the demographic prize. It does remind me of Adam McIntyre reacting to us talking about David Dobrik, whatever. And everyone, there was like the one section where it was like, I used to have a question on David Dobrik. And you go, you go, well, there's someone for everyone in all the comments like, damn, I was like, T, I did get read. I didn't notice in the moment, but then watching it back, I was like,
That was a read. That's what I'm saying. I don't know either. When you're saying I was like shady or passive or else you're driving, I don't know. No, really. Sometimes I can feel it, but I don't know. You know me. That's like the cat's eye. I'm not an interaction, because I don't know what I say, because I'm just so awkward and just saying the most awkward things. It was so funny. But it was honestly me reading myself. Like, damn, I really did have the biggest crush on him. I wonder why. And then saying that little cartoon, I was like, that was my man at one point. I'm like, huh? I'm like, that's my man. But I feel like we've all dated losers as me acting as if I'm dating.
David, I guess in some ways he'd be considered like a catch, I guess, with money and...
I don't know what else a sense of he used to have a sense of humor, but I'm telling you, even off camera, like he never was like funny or anything. I had back in the day. I really wish I could interview myself from 2019 and get to the bottom of like, why did I love him so much? What? I love them all so much. I know crazy. There's clips of me in 2019 telling David, I don't like him. So I could interview myself and be like, I didn't like him that and I don't like him now. And that's the T of it really. But you know, you're there for the views and you're just there for the.
The ride, I guess, yeah. Especially for you, if everyone's telling you it's a big deal, like be in that group, I guess. But still, I mean, you are the gateway drug for me. I wouldn't know David if it wasn't for you. No, I'm so sorry. I introduced way too many people to that group. You did create that monster. You're the monster that's been a long mama. Looks like I kind of am. Some people say that too. I found Shane through, because I was thinking people find me through Shane, but then I found Shane through you.
I don't know, I guess I was the gateway for a lot of people. I think Joey was the gateway to Shane for me, I think. Yeah, they clapped. A lot, yeah. Shane was my gateway to Joey. And I'm trying to think, I really don't remember my original YouTube, like I just seen, I think Ms. Clamarazzi I found through Joey.
Yeah, Joey, I found a lot of people through. Yeah, because he would just clap with everyone. Every same person. And there was air even like Shane was like literally literally everybody. It was just like. That's why I kind of like podcasts that they are kind of like YouTube collabs in a sense, you know, that's true. You could like meet new people. Yeah.
The guests of podcasts are just like not the same anymore. I feel like people are like, no one can get guests anymore. Everyone has their own damn podcast. Because that's the problem. Like, you're like, oh, you want to come on mine? Like, will you come on mine? I think that's where me and Delta work stopped because I was like, I was like, can you come on and take? Yeah, you should come on mine. And I was like, okay, well, we got to come on each other, you know, pod swap as they say pod swap. And that's like Jeff and I were going to do it, but I'm like, I don't really, it's hard because I live so far. So like go swap.
It's a whole day. Maybe when things die down a little bit without the the broad ways and the tours. Never happening. I'm on tour because we're adding more dates in March. I'm on tour like every day. I should probably just had a bus at this point. I'm on tour and I love it. But I, yeah, it's crazy because when I actually stopped to think about it, I was like, oh, so like after the show, we like sleep. But then like you fly in the morning of and then do a show that day and then fly in the morning and do a show that day because there's like three shows in a weekend. That is crazy. And it's antenna going back on tour too. Yeah, they're going on tour. Oh, yeah. My tour. I was like,
I got five more days ago. I'm trying to get it in quick. I'm like, well, put those cities out. No, they are. They're doing another one, yeah. I saw a clip of her. It was like, we got to go all over the country, like Ireland. And I was like, work, mama.
I think Paige, like, tried to call it out in the video. She's like, God damn it. Yeah. No, they are trying to do, like, a world tour, which is the world tour. Who said that? Oh, Justin, you're like, gonna mess up the world tour. Yeah, the world tour. I'm gonna say that. We're on a world tour. We're in Canada, so that's a world tour. That's a world tour. I think we're adding a Toronto show. I think I can say it. I don't think it's out yet, but I think we're adding a Toronto show that Sunday after our show.
That's it. Well, then New York and LA, but then that I can't announce it yet, but that's it for real. So if you're not in those cities, there's no more added shows over. Then it's over. We didn't even talk about the guests that you announced for your Broadway show. Oh, yeah.
amazing guy. I guess this has been so long since because we were going to do it last hot topics. And then yeah, I'm very excited. I just been like feeling like I'm just very nervous. So I feel like that's why I haven't been like my own shows. I hype up because it's like you just know what you're going to get. This one I'm like singing live with like really, really like crazy town singers and I
I am like a little bit in my head about it. So I need to like meditate and get out of my head because I don't know. It's just so different when you're performing with professionals. And you're just like, you don't want to be like, why? I don't know. I'm just trying to not think about it. But yes, we have all my, all my heroes, Joy Woods, who's in gypsy right now, who's amazing, Sutton Foster, who like, what like literally the biggest broad way icon of the whole world. Like that to me, that was never even a
Possibility. Never like I loved her but in to me. She's truly truly Alyssa me She was in butt heads and younger and she's been like on so many things like there's no one bigger Obviously pen plat which is like wild and crazy and I can't I can't quite fathom that we like weirdly kept crossing paths I saw him at SNL like it's very odd But he's he's one that I'm also just like Shaking in my boots for cuz I love him so much and of course
Rachel's like who is arguably like the biggest star in the world right now just not even Broadway just like everywhere. She's literally there snow white this year and in every single movie and I love her and it feels so full circle and I'm yeah it's we have really good ensemble like it's it's crazy so.
I'm just, I'm just actually nervous. I think for the first time in a very long time, cause I think all my childhood fears are coming where it's just like, I'm not good enough and I never got enough. The inner saboteur. I know. We've got to get rid of her. No, I'm really trying to be positive. I really am. And so I'm just, so for me it's just like not thinking about it, but I need to, but I have a lot of rehearsals and like the director and the musical director and like everyone is like so professional and so good and so hyped and so excited. And then like you're going to be great, you're going to be great. I had my first voice lesson on Saturday.
Which I think made me a little nervous too because I don't know I just got like really nervous like I couldn't sing for some reason which is like I love singing and I can do it anywhere But I was singing some of the songs and I was like I don't know I just like cracked I just got a really nervous so I need to get out of me and get hypnotized or something I don't know I don't know how to get out of my head with it But I'm really excited and I think the one thing that gives me comfort is knowing that like it's sold out so quickly and it is on my like
Fans for lack of a better word like people who just like love me and support me. I think Matthew Stevens is gonna be there like it just I think Trish Crave is gonna be there. Oh, wow. Yeah, that's so that makes me feel good like I'm like, okay It's an audience that knows me. I think if it I think it's more pressure for us I was going into Chicago like a Broadway show where it's like a Broadway audience that doesn't know me But I think cuz it does I just want to make sure I make everyone proud and I just I don't know
It's gonna be so good. I'm so excited. Yeah, it feels like a dream. It really does. It feels like maybe like the biggest thing in the world to me. So I'm just like.
trying not to make it that little girl who had to play what did you play a tree or something and like in those plays back in the day I was a tree but I never talked about that ever so I was like how did you know that that's funny what's the one that sounded music where you
I didn't get cast inside of music. I was definitely like a orphan and auntie. I was a talent person in the music man. I had one where they just took everybody. I was in that. But that's about it. That's so funny. I know. I'm really excited. I'm excited about New York. I'm excited. I'm excited. I just feel like New York. Wet dream. Concrete dream. Wet dream. Wet dream. Wet dream.
Are you singing Alicia Keys? Yeah. Where dreams are made of? What? What's the other one? And I want to be a part of it. New York, New York. Like a native New Yorker. I know that song from Wendy Williams on The Masked Singer.
Is she saying it? I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it
Damn, we might have won. I love playing a song game to an agreement. It's very, like, taste perfect when they did the riff half. Oh, my God. I love the taste perfect. That was such a good one. Me too. If you had to choose on a Kendrick or Blake Lively, who would you choose? Because you love a Blake Lively. Oh, I love Anna Kendrick, though. You choose her. I love Anna Kendrick.
I love the cup song. And I got my sick gift from her. I used to do that little cup song. I mean, you couldn't, I hate a cup hated to see me coming. Because you couldn't stop me from tapping back in the day. Did you put it up? I don't know if I posted it up. Yeah, I put one up back in the day. And she put it up after I did. And I had to take mine down because hers was so good. And I was so bad because I cannot keep rhythm. Could you do that? Yeah, she was good. She ate calculator 143. I think it was rocker Barbie with her name. And she had a really good cup song. I couldn't ever do it because I'm just bad at rhythm anyways. But that was really difficult. Yeah.
You couldn't keep me away from a cup. Any cup I saw, I was doing the papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, papa, pap
Why didn't they? I think was he just nerdy? Because he was a good stinger. They all were nerds. I never understood that. Because the whole thing was like, oh, he's too nerdy for our group. I mean, you have who's the one Adam Devine? Oh, yeah. Like, Adam Levine? Yeah. Like he couldn't be nerdier. So I was like, how is he like the cool kid in this? They're all kind of weeds, right? Yeah. Except for the one that made it, the Skylar Austin. I guess he was kind of the cool, but.
But even him, he was also kind of dirty. He wasn't like, awesome butler, anything joining the group. And even the girls, they were all pretty nerdy besides the Kendrick. Like they were shooting. Right, she was the cool girl. And what's her name? Was it Britney's Britney Snow? Was she the one that threw up or was it Anna Camp? The blonde? Yeah, Anna Camp throwing up. I was like, yeah.
You know, I'm not very like put together, you know, so. I love it. I did love that movie. Saying that movie was everything back in the day. I remember Pentatonix has to be in like one of the sequels. Either the second or the third one. I think there's only two, so probably two.
So Flula was also in the second. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I was so jealous. I was like, wow. And nearly Steinfeld. I love that. Yeah. Love that queen. First one's still the best. Oh my god. Yeah. I would have loved him in fact, Amy. Like I remember her career just being like, I want to be her so bad. Like all those roles are so good. Like I wish they'd give those. They have no fat people anymore for fat roles. Lizzo hit her goal way. I was like, yeah, everyone is getting so tea. I'm here. Is there even like a
Like a fat character anymore, because the rapper wasn't used to make the rounds, and she would be like the designated fat character. No, everyone's skinny now. There's no fatties out there. I'm trying to think of recent comedies, maybe because they don't make comedies that much anymore. Maybe. Well, I guess she's not a fat character, but like Wicked had some plus size cuties in there that I could have played. Like the teacher. Yeah.
One of the teachers that like pushed Nessa Rose and then of course the girl with bone yang. So then I felt, but yeah, there was not really Bridger Tim, but I mean, she wasn't fat. That's what I'm saying. They're all like skinny. All the people were supposed to be fat people. Even Nicola, she has like a skinny boyfriend and all the tabloids are being weird about it. I was like, okay, well. But also like, that's what I'm saying. And again, I had not to like, what's it called body compare? What's it body check? But like, if like that was me walking, like they look, she looks proportionate to him, you know, but like when I walk next to Moses, yeah, I would look like him.
A mammoth, a cute mammoth, but a mammoth. I broke a chair on Friday on TikTok. Did you see that? No. It's in the glam room, the chair. It's the chair that I used to sit on here. He said it was already broken, but I don't think so. But I don't think so. But you put it over there. I don't know how it ended up in your room. Watch the TikTok, because I pretty much broke it, because it literally went a lie on TikTok. Look, because he was already broken, so when you said it just continued. Trying to get like... I think I broke a chair.
I'm Robert Cairn.
Oh my god. Lee, that's, I'm, what? Oh my god. Okay, we're done with snack time. That's embarrassing. That was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me. I broke a cheesecake factory chair once, but like doing it here in our house, I was like, that's so- It's very Timothy Chalamet in that one sketch about- He broke the chair? Remember, did you see the one he did where he was doing like comedy as a barista? He's like, if your girl says she's too big at the cheesecake factory, he's like, well, you're already big, big, Betty. What?
Oh my God, was he fashy? Wait, what? It was about him making weird jokes. Like, they were trying to write like, you know, a little a pun for the chalkboard, like a coffee pun. And he was doing this really weird, Chris Rock impersonation. And then he did this, like, pointy dance. That was my favorite sketch. Oh, I love your SNL girlie. Now you used to like, I don't like SNL. I know. Now you know all those sketches.
Literally, I sold me watch the clips, but I think I saw every clip. That's true. They post them so quick. That's how I know too. Um, weird. That's a weird one. Okay, fat shaming. I was on your side. They used my name, Trish. Did you see that? Yes. I'm like, this is about Trish. Trishabade is like, I don't know, but I'll take it. I'll take it. I know I saw Trish. Great to eat that. I was waiting for the penis and I was like,
The way they say that, too, is like, you know, who's this diva trish? Who's this diva trish? And that was like, well, something like Trish could be any person because she could play anyone. No, Moses made a scene like he's like, did you see the clip? And I was like, no, I hadn't seen it because it was like the next morning. He's like, no, it's like about you. And the way they talk about you, like it's definitely about you. So I'm like waiting. I'm like, what's the thing? I'm like, I don't think there's anything specific about me in here. I don't think there's going to be a buck bang run for it or like, you know, like something. There was definitely nothing about it. A podcast driver. But how often the name Trish comes out, you know?
Maybe we should reach out to Bowen for a statement. Like, did you use my name? That's so crazy. I would never. That's like the actual craziest thing. He's like, I just announced the Academy Awards. Why are you texting me? I didn't even write it. Yeah. He's like, I didn't write this. You can say, I like that kid. Did you write it? He wrote it. Let me not do that. That's so weird. I like the, thank you, Trish, cry for thinking. It's about because even the tweets underneath were like, this is a reach. But it was cool. And we loved him and he challenged me. So I was excited. I'll pretend that almost about me.
Adam Sandler was there. Adam Sandler has shown up twice now in the past month on SNL. I guess if we were just around, he might as well. Damn, if I was there at the same time, and Lin-Manuel Miranda was in the sketch. Yeah, maybe they'll ask you to make a little pit stop. I'll be there. I've been New York this week. Who's the host? That was a good question. Like, I never find the host. Like, I never see where they're, like, announced. I know they post, like, on their Instagram a little post sit. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, and I haven't seen that. I, like, want to go look, and I was like, who's hosting this week? I tell you I got invited again to host the Grammy Red Carpet.
What? And it came not only through my email but my agents and they were like trying to find a way to make it work and I'm like I just don't think there's like any way. That is crazy. And they told me the list of people I'd be interviewing and it literally was like Taylor Swift. I know it was with a big like Grammys and I was like what the
What I know I know I don't even like to talk about it I was like so it even you know like I don't know we're trying to figure out a way and I'm just like there's just no way Yeah, I can literally the night before my show and like that's when I all the like tech stuff happens and I know that is crazy Because I can't ask to host a red carpet but for like a like a little magazine last year and I was like excited moves the Emmys or something, but this is like Grammys and then they were like
I had all the list of people I was gonna add. Who was it with? Do you know what your member becomes? Yeah, it was with, we'll bleep it, but it was. Oh, okay. I was still so sad. I know, because you even, I think last year you were manifesting being the athlete. No, that's like all I wanna do is get a view of one carpet and I looked at my touring schedule and the Oscars I'm gonna be in like Seattle and I'm like. Oh, no. It's just not meant to be for me on the red carpet, but that's okay. Maybe the BNA's or something.
No, thank you. Thank you. No, no, thank you. I want it to be. I remember that so vividly that way. They asked crying in the car, literally about Gabby Hannah. And then I remember someone came up and like, it was, I remember it was towards like the end. It was another thing where I was like spiraling and she had made a video and I was just so upset and crying. And then, yeah, and then someone came to me asking me something. I was like, nothing. Thank you.
I was engaged at the time and I remember calling Moses. I was like, I think I was at the recording scene when I was like coming home. And I was just like hyperventilating because she like made a video and I was so like beside myself. Oh, yeah. That would have been 2021. Yeah. That was a rough year for me. And I just was like, that was like, I guess I was just vlogging and just left it in or something.
The shocker. Oh, I'm so sad, but it's good. Like I said, everything happens for a reason. Yes. As for now, I'm available. Oh, man. But would you do like the Tonys?
Oh my god, yeah, that would be my, maybe I'll come, maybe I'll be nominated. You honestly could be in the running, right? I don't know how that works, someone said that. I don't know how that works, but I would love, especially like a niche category like that, like a one-night-only category. He was a one-man show, but his is like a week long, so he would be good. He'd probably win, he'd probably beat me. But he can't do the one-night-only, because he's technically two weeks. Oh, but maybe a limited-run show or something.
Yeah, he's at Radio City Music Hall, which there's a treasure might be coming there very soon. I think I have a booking there. I don't know the exact date yet, but we might be going there, but he does. He does put on a good show. I'm not going to lie. He is the greatest showman, right? Oh, he literally is. I wanted to do a greatest showman, like theme for this tour.
