Honoring God: Honoring and serving God with our lives is essential and influences our rewards in eternity. Living out our faith shows the value we place on God's gift of salvation.
Honoring God with our lives is crucial. While becoming born again is a free gift from God, it's what we do afterward that shows the value we place on that gift. Serving God and living a life that reflects His teachings can lead to rewards in eternity. Jesus emphasized this in John 12, teaching that those who serve Him will be honored by God. Our actions and decisions, influenced by our commitment to God, matter in our spiritual journey. We may all receive different opportunities in the life to come based on how we honor Him with our time, talents, and resources. It's not about earning salvation, but about living out our faith in a meaningful way. By serving and following Jesus, we reflect our love for Him and ultimately receive His recognition and honor in the eternal life to come.
Faith Transformation: Being a Christ follower involves yielding our desires to God, allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us from within. It’s about embracing grace, not just rules, to reflect God’s character and honor Him with our lives.
Living as a follower of Jesus means learning to set aside our own desires and yielding our will to God. Through the stories from Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, we understand God’s holiness and our need for transformation. It's not about following rules or rituals; it’s embracing the power of the Holy Spirit within us to change our hearts. Acknowledging our limitations and humbling ourselves allows God to work in us. This journey is not about earning God’s favor, but rather receiving grace to become truly different and reflect His character in the world. We cannot overcome evil on our own; we need divine help. Ultimately, the goal of our faith is transformation from the inside out, which invites us to honor God with our lives and experience true fulfillment and purpose.
Godly Living: Training for godliness is essential; our choices shape our future experiences with God. Investing in our faith today prepares us for greater opportunities in eternity, guiding us in a world full of challenges.
In 1 Timothy 4, Paul emphasizes the importance of training ourselves to be godly, as it yields rewards not just in our current life but also in the life to come. Our choices now impact what we experience later, highlighting the significance of living purposefully. Trusting God means also trusting that He will reward our efforts. It's not solely about professional ministry, but about how we honor the Lord through our daily lives and responsibilities. Individuals in Scripture serve as examples of giving their lives for God’s purposes, and while giving money is part of it, truly giving one’s life is the core message. In doing so, we prepare ourselves for greater opportunities in eternity, encouraging us to fully invest in our faith and mission while faced with cultural challenges. This reflects our commitment to share God's truth and navigate the complexities of our world with a biblical perspective.
Purpose in Service: A new studio can enhance gospel outreach. Like Jesus, our sacrifices lead to eternal rewards. Pilate missed the chance to recognize truth; our choices shape our future. Choosing faith over comfort brings lasting impact and fulfillment.
Creating a new studio can help spread the gospel effectively, reaching many people. Serving Jesus, like He chose to suffer and sacrifice, means looking beyond immediate comforts for a greater reward in the future. Pilate had the chance to recognize this truth but missed it. Our choices define us, and we are all on a similar journey as Jesus. Making sacrifices and sticking to our purpose matters, just as Jesus did. Choosing a path of service and faith can lead to lasting impact and fulfillment, proving that our lives serve a higher purpose. It’s essential to act in faith and understanding, knowing that our decisions hold weight not just for now, but for eternity. This journey includes challenges, but staying aligned with God’s will is rewarding. Aligning our actions with our beliefs is crucial to achieve what we aim for in life.
Giving Generously: Giving generously shapes our character and reflects our relationship with God. It brings growth, fulfillment, and eternal value instead of focusing solely on material possessions.
Recognizing the importance of giving can transform your relationship with God and your life. When we understand that giving reflects God's character, we can better appreciate what really matters. By generously offering our time, talents, and resources, we not only grow spiritually but also align ourselves with God's valued principles and priorities. This shift in perspective encourages us to focus less on material possessions and more on the eternal impact of our choices. Instead of viewing giving as a burden, we should see it as an opportunity for growth and connection with the divine, realizing that what we consider important in this life may not matter in the end. Ultimately, being generous enriches our lives and helps us to find deeper fulfillment in our relationship with God and others, leading to a more meaningful existence.
Eternal Rewards: Honor God with your choices for lasting fulfillment. Yield your life to Him for eternal rewards, instead of seeking material possessions.
Life is about making choices that honor God, rather than seeking worldly possessions that won't last. We should recognize the difference between needing and wanting, and remember that it is more fulfilling to yield our lives to Him. By doing so, we will receive not only blessings in this life but also rewards for eternity. Focusing on our relationship with God leads to true contentment, as He has called us from darkness into His light, offering freedom and purpose. It’s essential to prioritize our spiritual well-being and align our choices with God's will. A prayer for wisdom can help us make choices that benefit us in the long run. It’s through this commitment that we can live a fulfilling life, grounded in faith and aligned with eternal values, rather than temporary desires.

Obedience & Blessings - Ambivalence & Destruction
If we want to see change in our culture, it doesn’t start with politicians; it starts with us. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the Gospel of Luke and what it has to say about rejection versus obedience. Throughout this Gospel, we watch as religious people like the Pharisees reject Jesus and His teachings, while people we wouldn’t expect choose to believe and obey what He says. Pastor Allen confirms that the Church needs to wake up, be active in our communities, and obey what the Bible instructs us to do—even when it means rejection. It’s worth it, because God promises to bless us for our obedience to Him.
Life Giving Word - I Choose Life
After the Exodus, God’s first revelation to His freed people was of His holiness. God called the Israelites to be holy because He is holy, and He calls us to be holy as well. Holiness is not a burden; it brings purity and freedom because the character of God is being formed within us. It leads us to experience His power and majesty. God will honor our investment in reading His Word by showing us His character and His purposes. If there are burdens and seemingly immovable things in your life, God’s Word will make a pathway.
Life Giving Word
The first five books of the Bible—known as the Books of Moses or the Pentateuch—are the revelation of the character of God and His holiness and the story of how He delivered and established His people in the earth. The Exodus story and the surrounding events are a foreshadowing of Christ’s redemptive work on the cross. These books should cause us to rejoice in God’s provision of His inspired, authoritative Word and inspire us to a deeper hunger for the things of God.
