TLDR: Discussion featuring The Rude Pundit, Charlotte Clymer, and Cliff Schecter
In this episode of StephCast, Stephanie Miller is joined by guests Rude Pundit, Charlotte Clymer, and Cliff Schechter to dissect various political topics, including the legal challenges facing Donald Trump, the state of the GOP, and societal issues such as trans rights and the treatment of women. Here’s a breakdown of the key discussions:
Legal Accountability for Trump
- Presidential Immunity and Accountability: Stephanie asserts that just because Donald Trump has won an election doesn’t negate the legal proceedings against him. A jury has found him guilty, indicating that the presidency is not a shield against accountability.
- Upcoming Legal Challenges: Further proceedings in New York and federal cases against Trump should proceed after his time in office rather than being dismissed, emphasizing that winning a position of power should not become a loophole for escaping justice.
Political Shenanigans and Irony
- The Menendez Brothers: The conversation shifts to the Menendez brothers and the peculiarities of their private lives, introducing lighter banter that presents a humorous contrast to the serious political discussions.
- Critique of Republican Strategies: Guests discuss the irony in the Republican party's actions, from addressing immigration to the absurdity of denying sexual assault allegations against nominees with questionable backgrounds. Cliff questions how Republicans manage to conflate their policy failures with manufactured crises to distract from their actual agenda.
Divisive Politics and Social Issues
- Trans Rights as a Political Tool: Charlotte Clymer emphasizes how the GOP is weaponizing trans rights issues for political gains, likening the current discourse to historical battles over gay marriage. The panel discusses how Democrats often allow Republicans to frame conversations, making them appear as defending the status quo.
- Inadequacies in the Defense of Vulnerable Groups: There’s a strong call for Democratic leaders to adopt more assertive and bold stances in support of trans rights, highlighting the importance of embracing diversity within the party to counteract Republican narratives.
Media Influence and Responsibility
- Role of Media in Politics: The discussion reveals frustrations with mainstream media's failure to accurately engage with and challenge right-wing narratives. Cliff points out that political reporters often prioritize access to power over the ethical responsibility of truth-telling.
- Creating a Competitive Media Landscape: The need for increased funding and visibility for progressive voices in media is highlighted, suggesting that a better-funded liberal media presence would enhance public understanding and combat misinformation.
Cultural Reflections & Election Insights
- Understanding the Voter Base: The panel reflects on polling trends and voter psychology, emphasizing that many Americans, despite being bombarded with right-wing messaging, support progressive policies. The discussion highlights the importance of reconnecting with these voters to bolster the Democratic agenda.
- Political Consequences and Future Strategies: It is suggested that Democrats must learn to play more aggressively against Republican obstructionism and misinformation, utilizing clear and compelling messaging to unite and activate their base.
Conversation Conclusion
As the episode winds down, the guests express a mix of hope and urgency, calling for proactive engagement in political discourse, media presence, and foundational support for marginalized communities. They conclude that empowering voices and reinforcing progressive values is vital to counteract the overwhelming influence of the GOP.
This episode delivers sharp insights into the current political landscape, urging listeners to stay engaged and aware of the complexities surrounding legal, social, and media narratives.

Stephanie Miller
Mr. Supreme Court has obviously said that he has immunity for all official acts once he's in office. Do you think these cases should be dismissed? I don't. I think the sentencing and further proceedings in the New York case should be deferred until after he leaves office. And likewise I think further proceedings in the two federal cases should be deferred until he leaves office. But they should not be dismissed.
A jury of Donald Trump's peers found him guilty. He's no less guilty because he won an election. There were two grand juries who found, probably caused to believe, Donald Trump committed federal crimes. Those cases shouldn't go away simply because he was elected. The presidency is not a get out of jail free card.
Thank you. Senator Schiff of the Great State of California. Starved stage screen and, of course, sexy the roll. Three weeks ago, when we were 40 years younger. Senator Alex. Oh, come on. He'll be sworn in on the third of January. We still have a different senator until then. It's an exciting time out here because we're waiting for the Menendez brothers.
hearing. Can I just, I even part of the fun fact that you guys did not know, did you know Lyle does was having an affair in prison? He's married, but he was having an affair with some 20 something on his wife. And I just, yes, here's where I landed, Tony, is that he has a way better love life than I do. I have, I'm getting zero, I'm getting zero strange. He's been in prison for 11 billion years and he has a wife, he has a wife and a girlfriend. Okay, I just thought I'd point that out.
And it's not like he's going out on the town every week. No, I would hope not. How do I know the logistics of prison love? I don't know. I don't know either. We must have tons of women writing to them all the time. Why don't you answer some of these letters that you get?
Oh, okay. Let's see. Like this one. The guy calling me a boy. I believe McBitch. Oh, I'm sorry. A bitch like her. Well, both. I've looked a little of both.
yeah i'll believe in the ditch liquor guy tom and uh... all by the way wow wow wow yeah twitter it's going to be a bit of a cesspool so you have a problem here's the problem with you know when you have to post so many places now for me anyway because you know me i i'm not good at anything right
So I just thought I would post a picture of me and Lorenzo Donald and just say, please support all the other great talent at MSNBC that doesn't bend the knee to Donald Trump. And then I threw out some names, but only because everybody's on different social things. So now apparently I'm a giant racist for not mentioning Joy on Twitter, but she's not on Twitter. So I mentioned different people on different socials. I did on blue sky and on X and on threads and Instagram, Facebook. I've had a long weekend.
I stopped it to do a three-hour ride in the rain Saturday. Oh my god. Anyway, I didn't know it was gonna rain. It was gonna. Yeah, it was supposed to rain rain. I was soggy. Well, anyway, it's sprinkle. Anyway, I love Joy Reid. I'm not racist. Because she's not on. I don't think Twitter personally or one of them. So anyway, but I just what I meant is anyone that's not Joe and make a we Malcolm only.
Well, you're morning Joe, viewers. That's all I'm saying is, you know, because they have a lot of great talent there. Oh, by the way, Mark Elias has become a program director. He's fantastic. He's doing some programming. He said, if I ran MSNBC, I would make the weekend MSNBC, a daily show. I would give Molly Young, John Fast, a daily show, and I would beg Nicole Wallace to add another hour, but I don't run MSNBC.
I like those suggested, they have a lot of great talent, right? They could, you know, it was the best morning show ever, morning joy. Move joy to the morning, move someone for the weekend at the gag to the west. The best morning show ever on MSNBC was a Stephanie Miller show. That's right, well, you're not, that goes without saying, Chris, but thank you for saying it. Well, I had to be sad. No, thank you for all the groundswell of us replacing Morning Joe, that's not gonna happen, but anyway, my point is... They gave us our chance, we blew it. You never had a chance. I was sweaty, Chris was, Chris was dear in the headlights. Uh-huh.
And you never had a chance according to Danny Abrams. Right. Exactly. We were just we were pre-fired. I've never been pre-fired. We were packing peanuts. That's it. We really were. Come on in for three days. You're already fired. But come on in. Yeah. And we're like anyway.
was saying, well, this is going to take a year of this. And by the way, stupid maggots, they're spinning off Comcast or whatever. They're spinning off a bunch of channels, not just MSNBC. Sci-fi. And I think the fact that they just made a brand new five-year deal with Rachel Maddow means they're going to keep it liberal, likely. But that's why I'm asking you support all the other great talent that's there. Unless Elon Musk buys it. Oh, god. Please don't make my rumble tumble. That happened over the weekend.
Is he just going to own everything? Are we just going to go? Yeah, we're just going to give up. It's the world we're just looking at. Yeah, sure. It's all Potterville, except it's Elonville. Right. Where was I? I don't know. Oh, anyway, there's lots of great talent. Sorry, I didn't mean to leave out anybody. It was not an exhaustive list. I was just trying to say there are great, you know, truth tellers over there and great talent that, you know, don't bend the knee to Trump. So these days you're going to get off Twitter.
you're going to find it's it's too much when malcolm nance gives me the order he is brave heart i'm holding okay all right i can't love and it has a wife and a girlfriend yeah i got nothing and you have nothing and you actually leave another lonely christmas yeah he doesn't leave his house he can't leave his house exactly i'm the only person that leaves the house as little as love and and i think i wasn't aware that i could leave my house
You know why we don't? Because we hate everyone. Okay, here's Chris's hate letter from today. Oh, yes. This is great. Really? Okay. This is awesome. I love this. From Bruce about your hat. I'm not sure why this is an issue, but it's an issue. What's next? Are you going to put a little propeller on top?
Or are you covering up a bald spot? Your barber accidentally shaved your hat. The hat doesn't work. It makes you look like a dork. That's my opinion. I think all guys that wear their hats backwards look like dorks. Why do you have a visor to cover up the sun from burning your neck and turning it red? Is he going to hit red neck because you have a what?
Um, otherwise, it's just rapper stupidity. Sorry to be so long, but please don't wear that. It degrades you. You're a very smart guy. You have so much to add to the Stephanie Miller program. Stick with what you are. I really like you and appreciate your smarts and humor in regards. Bruce from Petaluma. Oh, and then he has to always be nice. This is the tagline, except for you and your stupid hats. Stupid dork rapper. Wanna be rapper at fight.
That's a good one. That's a good one. I am of a mind to Christmas. Yeah, I'm of a mind to wear a beanie with a propeller on it. Yeah, did you order one? I ordered one. It'll be here and I shall wear it before Thanksgiving. Wait for it, Bruce.
Got it just for you, Bruce. It's all for you. It's all for you. All right. And then the more standard variety. Oh, Damon from Brooklyn. Stephanie Louise Miller. I've been watching listening all year. I love the show. You are how I survived this election cycle. Number one, love Jody, miss her jingle. Okay. All right. Number two, Chris is wrong. Don't know why you sell shirts saying otherwise.
I decided to front load all your hate mail, and rest will be mine. Number three, I was at New York Sexy Liberal Show and saw your hoo-ha, and it is fabulous. It looks as old as you want us to think you are. Oh, thank you, Damon. Yeah, take that while, Menendez. I got a little baby hooch. It's lightly used.
Okay, unless one Nancy. Stephanie, Jody, Chris. Thank you for the heartfelt moment, sincerity in the banter that has me engaged teary-eyed and laughing out loud. Starting my days listening to you makes it all easier whether it's my challenging job or the challenging world that just got darker. Thanks for the light you bring. I started listening in 2008 and I'm not going anywhere. Nancy's not gonna quit. She's got no place else to go. Like me. Okay. Thank you, Nancy. I gotta quit! I got nowhere else to go!
All right, so I'm wearing my time's up shirt for the next rapist that is up for Trump's cabinet, allegedly. I mean, he's not allegedly up for Trump's cabinet. Pete Hedges. Hegseth. Hegseth. Yeah, well, according to that woman, he's Hegseth in the angry inch. But anyway, here's what. Did she really comment on his? No, I just made it was a joke. Oh, I see. It was a good joke, I think.
Alright.
as jody i keep saying pro tip women go to the hospital and get a rape kit run on them if they've had consensual sex and men don't generally pay women off right there i mean it's just this whole not to mention which like dami duckworth is saying like every other nominee he's not qualified he was a very low rank in the army just because he was in the army doesn't mean you're qualified to run the department of defense with billions of dollars and millions of employees
Yeah. No, he's never run a department with what was the fence budget, 900 billion. Yeah, he's never run anything with 900 billion dollars. But I mean, it's all sketch, the fact that he didn't tell the even the Trump administration was blindsided by this allegation.
Pam Bondi is more qualified for her position. Pam Bondi can stop my, oh my God, she is complete. She should be roundly disqualified in any normal world. First of all, she's an election denier. So what is she going to commit perjury? Or is she going to under oath again, say the 2020 election was stolen?
If she's under oath. And then she's on tape, which we played Friday, and everyone's been playing her saying. The prosecutors are going to be prosecuted. The investigators are going to be investigated. She's... Matt Gates just less rapey. I mean, it's the same thing. It's the same thing. She will... She is saying, yes, I will enact retribution against anybody Donald Trump. Oh, and then the dog thing, did you hear about that? Oh, my God. Why? They so awful. She stole someone's dog. A Katrina victim's dog. Oh, my God.
Why is there always something horrible with dogs with Republicans? Oh my god! I mean if I had adopted a dog and then the family came to me I'd be like, oh my god, I'm so sorry, here's your dog back. She had to do sewer and she finally had to get the dog back. Okay, I can't. But also, I'm just like, how can you repeat your general when you are on...
record as being an election denier as saying you are going to be you know participate in retribution against political enemies and what else she very clearly took a bribe we're gonna have to ask him do we have a legal and today no not today
How is that not quid pro quo, right? Trump University, New York prosecutes, you know, obviously our friend Tristan Snell wins multi-million dollar judgment. Florida, they asked for him to be investigated, then Trump gives her $25 million, she's like, yeah, okay, bye bye. No more, no try. No Trump prosecution, right? I mean, how is that not a bribe?
Oh, God. Anyway, where was I? Oh, the other thing, Pete had sisisisisis in your angry inch. He's not as good looking as Hedvig.
Yeah. So the white power tattoos distract. He was a little bit. He was not cleared or exonerated as he keeps saying. Not charging is not the same. There's a million different reasons that go into that, but that's not the same as he was cleared or exonerated. He was not. Anyway. Oh, what else? Oh, Tulsi Kim was briefly on a say watch list. OK.
briefly get on the plane but she can be the head of director of national energy okay so all that happened over the weekend hey happy Thanksgiving everybody and the menendez brothers might get out that's right that's what we said hey they're gonna get more start to get more strange than you know how well he already does live over he gets twice as much as I do what's good what is I've taken a wrong term somewhere my life I don't I
Right away, that's a new $25 million a year contract to work one night a week. I'm like, I've taken so many wrong turns in my life. So many wrong turns in my life. And that's a pay cut. Yes. Oh, I know. Yes. I'll take the pun headline when she took a massive pay cut. I'll take 20% of the pay cut.
It's not like she's not working the other day. I know she works all the time. She deserves every penny. She's doing two movies right now. She's a national treasure for sake people. All right, we have a money. You know what? Are we slack and on Thanksgiving week? No, we're not. Hmm. We have rude pundit. We have Charlotte climber and we have Cliff Schechter Alpha liberal for all of our three. It's very exciting.
All right. What? I'm looking at you. This is your show. Wow. We're supposed to. When we don't stand you, you get upset. Fine. Oh, Beth. Oh, we hear about it on the air. Why aren't you looking at me? Pay attention to me. So now you're freaked out that we're paying attention. Right. Whatever, Beanie. Go to your portfolio hat. It'll be here for Wednesday's show. 20 minutes after the hour. And you're not really here because you weren't jingled. Yeah, I'm not here. OK, 20 minutes after the hour. OK.
Okay, now you're here. I love it. It's a fabulous program. It's the Stephanie Miller Show.
Stephanie Miller. Yeah, he didn't bring it. Oh, I forgot my heat tweet in my rush to read your hate mail, Chris. STS says, Stephanie, you are the queen of the idiots. Well, at least I'm the queen. And I think that's important. Yeah. I happened to come across your show today on the radio. Uh-oh. Oh, boy. You bunch of cackling demonic women. That was my first band. Let's change the name of the show to cackling demonic women and Beanie Boy.
There you go, that's it. I think they were- I think they were- I sing back off. I sing back off. Oh, is that it? Yeah. White supremacy is not the problem. Stupid black women thinking they are the victim is the problem. Yeah. All right. Oh, wow. Sweet. Okay. Thanks for checking in. Okay.
Wow, wow, wow. Dean Obadala, by the way, our buddy, our pal, said, can we finally talk about the huge role sexism and racism played in Trump's win? Are we still supposed to pretend the election was only about the price of eggs? And he went on to say funny how corporate media discusses Trump's win, barely touch on racism and sexism. Meanwhile, in the real world, when I speak to people, I keep hearing things like all my son's young friends refused to vote for a woman president. Many others have said similar things, calling my show about what friends said.
I was saying that the couple of Latino women friends of mine said, I'm just telling you, some Latino men are never going to vote for a woman. And to your credit, Chris, you don't say it was just about the price of eggs. Well, I think just saying it's about the price of eggs is a little, you know, insultingly reductive.
Right, I mean it obviously was a bunch of different, who was it? Brian Williams said, I mean, there's this sort of camp of, I guess, blame Biden and all the Democrats, which I think people are just getting tired of. He said, well, who thought it was a good idea for him to run again at 80 years old and a 37% approval rating? So I guess he's blaming Biden for staying in or for Democrats for not getting about earlier or could have should have would have, I mean,
You know, and you can understand he had a historically, historically successful administration. You can understand him, you know, but anyway, you know, that's part of what I guess Pelosi said that then by the time he got out, it was too. Anyway, perfect storm.
There were many, many, many things that led to a result on election day. It wasn't just the price of ads. Yeah, exactly. Oh, by the way, oh, so now they're already threatening to they're going to withhold funds from blue states if we don't, you know, at fall in line.
Yeah, Dean Obadale also says if Trump is going to ban federal funds to blue states unless we agree with the MAGA fashion to the agenda, blue states should start withholding federal tax dollars to Trump's corrupt regime. We can use our tax dollars to help people in our own states. I agree. I think we can hold our federal dollars. See how you do socialist sucking red states without our own blue state money. Okay, rude pundit next.
Every one, I told you I wasn't going to stop with Capitol Hill. I'm filing another bill tonight that would ban biological men from women's spaces on all federal property, all across the country. This fight starts here. It starts now. Men are not allowed in women's spaces period. Full stop in the story.
Right before Christmas, you're not allowed to play any of our reindeer games. Thank you, Nancy Mays, on top of everybody. A non-game, we won't let Rudolph join in any reindeer games. She's got to go now and vote for the latest rapist to be appointed to the Trump Cabinet, because she's busy protecting American women. Allegedly. Hey, Ruth. That was Ruth. Don't play things. That was Ruth.
You're on step show, you're not on Twitter. Like my childhood, let's spread it in. Remember, hey, will you let a joke come out far? Smell, then you can start to make it better, better, better, better.
Hi! Hi! How are you, Road? Well, hello. I was just noticing that I think Cliff Schechter and I have the same hairstyle now.
All the alpha liberal men. You go to the same. All of us pissed off liberals. This is this event, man. This is the hairstyle we have to have. You're like this election. I'm just going to hack this hair off now. This is like Chris. Where's a beanie now? Yeah. Yeah. I saw it. I don't know. The backwards baseball cap. I don't know. I don't know. Juice bro. What?
No, rudeness. We played Nancy Mase just for you because we gave it a give because you wrote a you've got a really interesting piece and we have Charlotte climber booked coming up. But this is a really in all this post election analysis. I mean, we it's
We've always had the same true line on this show about alpha liberals about we need to learn how to fight either differently better or something. And you just write it wasn't that long ago less than 10 years. In fact, we're a confirmation hearing for Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Senator Lindsey Graham, who was a
even went before his mouth became Donald Trump's. Oh, oh, oh, that is rude. I wasn't even warmed up yet. And there's rudeness. I know, I know. And you know, you know, it's a little, a little wrong there because a cuisine generally keeps things cool. But in this case, it'll keep warm. Sure. Yeah. Got it. Okay.
Well, the gnashed about the growing passage of laws in the states allowing same-sex couples to marry. And you said his screaming meme routine had been echoing throughout the nut of fear for years. Same-sex marriage would lead to legalizing marriage with animals or marriage with babies. And you said, of course none of this came true. No one tried to get a law passed so they could marry their dog. Babies are still single.
See, now I feel like you're just like me. Not like a lot of Menendez. Right, he's doing very well. Yeah, maybe he's the only ones that have your love lives than I do. Dude, my point is, maybe you need to go to prison. Maybe that's really the secret. Oh, I can think of reasons that might be worth it. Okay.
It's just a side, the side strange is just another benefit. I think what you're thinking of will get you to a level of prison where there is no strange whatsoever. Can you be arrested for what's in your thought bubble? What's in there? Not yet, not yet, but pretty soon. Pretty soon, you want to plants the chips into it. But you know, you raise a great point. Just these culture war issues or, you know, whatever, that
I hate to say it, but it worked. The despicable way they do this, she didn't bring up trans, they brought it up to try to otherwise people do. Because I have to be honest, I've told this story before, but I grew up in a tiny little small town in Catholic school. I didn't know any trans people. I remember when one came to speak at my freshman college class, I was like, ew, I broke my brain.
And I didn't think I would want to discriminate against this person or not like them. It just was so outside my, you know, my experience. But this, this is the thing. I bet you hardly anyone knows a trans person that they spent these, as you say, millions of dollars of ads, right? Yeah.
over $200 million worth of ads in this cycle from the GOP on anti-trans issues. For something, as I point out, for things like saying that we don't want trans girls in girls sports in high school, and it's like, yeah, more trans women are murdered every year than there are trans girls in girls sports.
Yeah, we've said it over and over. In some of the states they did this, there was one goal in the entire state. I mean, this is, but as you say, they in their packs met a couple hundred million dollars on the ads, flooding the airwaves for Trump. The accuracy of the ads didn't matter. That's the key. They were lies, right? You said truth and reality doesn't matter at all to the right. It was the whole Kamala is for they, them. President Trump is for you. Pretty much sums up everything that holes wanted you to hear.
And that's it. It's just they're the, you know, they're the new gays, right? Trans of the new boogity boogity. This is why your life is bad, right?
yeah yeah and and it's and it's and and they and they keep doing it i mean they're just pushing it now because of the representative mcbride is is is going to congress and is going with their head held high and ready to do her job which is what they all should be freaking doing and not worrying about where someone takes a piss yeah but here so here's what we get to the you know political part of it where
First of all, you can understand that Kamala Harris probably felt like she can't win. This is what they do. They back you into this corner. So then if she starts talking about trans people all the time, their mission is accomplished because then people are like, well, what does that have to do with me and my family and the price of eggs, right? But you made an interesting point. You said they define Democrats as supportive of some kind of deviancy, even if the real devian nuts are those who obsess over the genitals of children and those of people taking a
I'll just add that anecdotally, everyone I talked to who voted for Trump told me it was because of trans issues. Lots of people will be quick to point out that Kamala Harris didn't talk about trans people at all. But you said you agree with people like Ed Rendell who said it was a huge mistake not to stand up to the attacks and defend trans rights.
Yeah, you said it didn't matter that Harris wasn't campaigning on woke or trans or anything else Republicans learn to say she was. So you might as well do the honorable thing and defend people who need defending. I totally get your point. But I mean, this is where I feel like this is what they do to put you in a no I can't win situation, right?
right but you know um... for us before the left i mean trans rights was was a an issue that would have inspired uh... some voters and instead it was it was part of this whole campaign to try to get moderate republicans and you know that that mythical white suburban woman uh... to try to uh... to try to to to vote for harris and
And, you know, Tim Walls was out there occasionally bringing it up because, you know, he's made Minnesota into a place where gender affirming care could be gotten. Oh, God.
Yeah, and kids getting bunched. Oh, God. Yeah, gender-affirming care for teens. And so, you know, they were freaking out anyway. The ads were going on the airwaves. Why not have trans people out there to say, look, it's not that exotic. It's not this incredible, weird thing that you're making it out to be. It's just a person.
And to your point, rude, even before the bending of the knee, I kept saying Joe Scarborough was beating up on trans people after the election. Like, that's why we lost. You know, we said, oh, you got to get Democrats got to go more to the center. It's like, how much more to the center can you go than campaigning with Liz Cheney and having every prominent Republican out there?
speaking out for you I mean it's so to your point you just said that you can see the effects of this refusal to engage in battle with Republicans feeling absolutely free to be the worst version of their already mother awful selves especially with the election of Sarah McBride and you said a former LGBTQ ally representative Nancy Mace did a heel turn decided to make life miserable for McBride
Um, and you said to their credit led by AOC, Democrats have finally found a spine on this trans issue speaking out against Mase and Johnson for their transphobia. Part of it, rude. I think what do we have? It's when Katie Couric said this. I think most people can recognize it's just mean here. Hang on one sec. Yeah. It just seems nasty and mean and cruel because she is the only member who is now.
she wanted to do an interview. She hasn't gotten back to me. I don't know. People are just me, aren't they? Yeah. It really makes me mad. It wasn't in the transcript. I'm so sorry. What if you thought you'd need a dump button for Katie Kerwin?
Sorry, literally. I'm so sorry. Um, well, it is. That's what I mean. That seems to me. I think any person or, or parent recognizes bullying. It goes, well, that's, that's just mean, you know, and it's so anyway, you just, but you say, you know, but, you know, I mean, here's the thing that gets me is it, we shouldn't be saying that, well, Sarah McBride could just use the bathroom that's in her office.
Now, if Nancy Mase is uncomfortable, she can use the bathroom in her office. Thank you. Thank you. Don't put it on the person who is just trying to live their life. Put it on the... This is what the right does all the time. They take the things that they don't like and they force the rest of us to have to live with this in a way that we don't want to. It's like...
Nobody cares. I'm sorry. There are no doors on the stalls in the women's restrooms in the Capitol because maybe that's where you start. Well, and here's what I think is going to be great is we keep saying already they're overreaching, you know, like.
They think they want on trans issues. You know, Nancy Mase is going to take a mean girl victory lap. And this is what I mean. Trump's cabinet picks. People didn't vote for this. Matt Gaetz and Tulsi Gabbard and Bobby Kennedy. And, you know, I mean, I just, this parade of horribles. But you have to go thank you, Nancy Mase, for overreaching and showing just how mean and out of touch your party is.
It's going to keep going, though, because now we hear the Trump's going to sign an executive order kicking all 15,000 trans soldiers out of the military. I mean, it's like, what are you doing? In Ohio, they passed a bill on a trans bathroom use.
at schools that not only banned uh... that not only said you have to use the bathroom of your biological sex but also on college campuses said you can't have gender neutral bathrooms yeah and and and also by the way if you know the angry inch gets in uh... heads by the way i'm with you on that joke i i i thank you very much thank you don't encourage her
uh... seriously but you know he's got a week in the military not only is not qualified and a rapist allegedly he he's even no women in the military and tami duckworth would like a word and she did have a word and it israeli women soldiers were the heroes of october seventh they by the way of the ones that warned about it and they ignored them and then they made several heroic you know uh... uh... rescues but anyway
Just to your point, at the end of this piece is what I've always been saying to rude. You said, how about saying it's between kids and their parents if they want to take puberty blockers or have top surgery? How is that any damn business of anyone else's? You get to stand up for parental rights here. That's what I keep saying. They are not the small government party anymore. And by the way, they're not the state's rights party. They're like, we're going to cut off your funds if you don't help us rip families apart and deport everybody.
Yeah, no. It was always a lie. It was always a lie. It was a lie when the Supreme Court was supporting state rights and different issues. It was always a lie because all it meant was states have rights when they do the things that we want them to do. And otherwise, we will take their rights away. And we won't fund them. We won't do all kinds of stuff. And it's like,
Well, gee, why doesn't Biden say if you don't change your abortion laws, you're not going to get federal funding. I guess he could have done that. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Another fantastic piece, Professor Filthy Hobo. Well, thank you. It just makes me sad. The whole attack just makes me sad because it's just not going to stop. I know. And they think they've got an issue. And when those MFers get their teeth in something, it's like trying to get a phone from a dog.
And you're right, it's just a new version every time of fear mongering and dividing. You know, they really are the new gays back when they were boogity boogity gay marriage. And this is what I mean about trying to get Latinos to vote for, you know, we don't mean you, we mean those dirty immigrants. We're gonna, you know, they're gonna, right? It's like it's trying to like, otherwise people even in your own group. And now it's like, like, oh gay people, we don't mean you. We mean this freaks trans people, you know, it's just, it's so gross.
Just the way you carry your papers with you because you might have to prove you're a citizen. Yeah. Yeah. Papers, please. Huh? It's back. All right. We go now to the Hitler burger to get myself my lunch. Okay. I was going to make an angry joke just to piss off.
I'll take my angry 10 inches and go and go. There you go. There you go. Okay. Slap somebody in the face. What? I love you. Goodbye. Bye. Happy Thanksgiving. Stephanie Miller. Help me. Help you.
Or to our to our point in talking to rude pundit. I just thought our Trish of Robin Trish. Yes, sent me this from Instagram. It is Matt is Superman is his name, but I just thought this was a really cogent sort of, you know, round up of what happened in 2024. Hold up. Let me get this right. You forgive him.
You forgive Donald Trump. You hold space in grace in your heart for the things he says and the things he does and the person he is. You forgive him. There isn't a soundbite or a testimony that can come out that would make you change the permission you've already given this man to be himself. You forgive him. It could be rape. It has been rape and you forgive him.
It could be racist. It has been racist and you forgive him. It could be some of the most negative and unnecessarily insulting and vile and irresponsible and irrational and unlawful behavior and you forgive it because you forgive him. And I think
I think you forgive him because I think he excuses you. Ah, perfect. I think he gives you permission to love the parts of yourself that should and need to change. I think he gives you permission to love the parts of yourself that are hateful and bigoted and oppressive and close-minded.
I think he gives you permission to love these things because he is these things. And he is these things loudly and proudly in front of everyone. And if he can do that there, you can do that at your table or in your community, at your kids soccer games or in your Walmarts or in your churches, you can too be hateful and bigoted and oppressive and small minded. Yep, one last one. He represents you. He represents those things within you. So you forgive him. He hates the same people you hate, not because they're dangerous or bad, but because they look love and live different than you.
And the fact that he gets to hate them out loud makes you feel so comfortable hating them inside. So you forgive him. And that makes it really hard to forgive you. Yeah. Wow. Thank you, Matt. Karen in Chicago. Hello, Bufu.
Hello. Good morning. Yeah. Yeah, that's it. That is absolutely perfect. And you know, that guy that keeps calling you a ditch liquor, he says it like it's a bad thing. Right. Somebody needs some lessons. Yeah. Okay. Somebody's not satisfying somebody. So a little bit of jealousy going on there. But having said that, you know, the trans issue, of course, you guys know that I have a trans son.
My child is not bothering anybody. The problem is, yes, they ran a massive campaign against trans people, and it was red meat to the base. But honestly, we have to have the conversation about people on our side of the aisle.
that also have a problem with it. And, you know, Martina Navratilova went out there and talking about a game. You're talking about a game where all you're doing is adding fuel to the fire. When, you know, and I mean, please just everybody get educated on this.
When somebody goes through transition or gets gender affirming care, they're getting hormones. They put them in the spectrum. There's a male spectrum. There's a female spectrum. Thank you. Thank you. Educate yourself would be the end. You know who's going to do that? Charlotte climber next.
Stephanie Miller. A man is a man and a woman is a woman and a man cannot become a woman.
That said, I also believe that's what scripture teaches, what I just said, but I also believe that we treat everybody with dignity. Do you believe that you are being treated with dignity by your colleagues? I didn't run for the United States House of Representatives to talk about what bathroom I use. I didn't run to talk about myself. I ran to deliver for Delawareans.
our dearest charlotte climber said i deeply admire congresswoman elect ceramik right for her courage and character and navigated impossible situations solely manufactured by cruel cynical and hypocritical people who care far more about building their hateful personal brands than helping their constituents uh charlotte joins us now good morning charlotte so good to see you again
It's good to see you again. You too, ma'am. You know, as we were talking just off air a little bit, we just played just a Katie Cork sound bite about this not being partisan. It's just mean. That's what Mike Johnson calls treating someone with dignity. What if you're late for a vote? And that happens to be the closest bathroom. You know, I said, this is the trans version of the help. You know, you've got a perfectly good bathroom in your own, blah, blah, blah. I mean, this is just, I think people know what segregation and discrimination look like, don't they?
They do. They do. And this is performance is what it is. Nancy May says done almost nothing for her district. She's part of a political apparatus that does really nothing for working class families. So in order to separate herself in order to get some kind of relevancy, this is what she chose to go after.
Yeah. Well, and you were, you were a better woman than I. You said, I feel really bad for Nancy Mase. You said, I really do. I can't imagine what psychological trauma someone goes through that makes them so openly starving for relevancy that they'll sell their value system for a perishable news cycle. It's honestly painful to watch. I hope she finds peace.
Yeah, she supposedly was, you know, an LGBTQ ally, right, until she saw, like you say, this like desperate bid for whatever, you know, the news cycle, relevancy, something. And it just, I guess I'm politically, I hate to say this, Charlotte. I'm glad they're overreaching and showing America how mean they are and just, you know, and not working on any issues that affect hardly anybody's real life in America.
Can you imagine how dangerous the Republican Party would be if they took this incoming majority they have and focused exclusively on working class families and nothing else? Yeah. Yeah. And then can you imagine how dangerous they would be to the future of the Democratic Party? But that's not what they're interested in and it never has been.
Yeah. Well, and also her whole, you know, about protecting women, and she's about to vote, she would have voted for rapist Matt Gaetz, allegedly, and Pete Hedgeseth, who also, I'm sorry, Charlotte, but like the fact that this guy who's not even qualified to run the military is a veteran. I think you know that. I mean, so he wants to exclude women from the military,
And I'm sorry, you, I'm just, I keep saying it over and over, Charlotte, but women don't go to the hospital get a rape kit run and then when they've had consensual sex, you know, men don't generally pay women off when something hasn't hasn't happened. And so it talk about that as a little bit as a veteran, this whole Pete Hedgeseth situation.
It's heartbreaking. You know what I feel really, who I feel really bad for in this national conversation right now are every woman, friend and colleague that I've known in the US military who has served in combat. I never served in combat. I spent my time with the old guard. But I have so many friends who went to Iraq and Afghanistan and other combat areas and served with great honor.
You know, it's interesting. There are now over 150 women who have graduated from U.S. Army Ranger School under the same exact standards as the men. And this is the hardest leadership school in the world for military. It is grueling. It is the kind of thing that you never want to do again. That's for sure. And 150 women
have graduated from Ranger School. Many of them are now serving in frontline industry units, alongside their male counterparts. Some of them are leading infantry companies of mostly men. Pete Hegsef is a coward. He is a very incredibly accused, sexually disabled, and I think that most of all, he is the exact opposite of what I think of when patriotism comes to mind.
Yeah, well, I mean, absolutely. Sexual assault is, you know, a big problem in the army. This guy is very credibly accused of sexual assault. He would weaken the military by kicking out all women, all trans people. I mean, I love that Tammy Duckworth would like a word. Take a listen. Having served in combat yourself, what do you think of the idea that women make fighting more complicated? That was specifically what he focused on.
Well, it just shows this lack of understanding of where our military is. You know, he was a pretty low-ranking guy in the military, and he never had a command position. He was a platoon leader, I think, once or twice, but he never even commanded a company. And so this is a man who is inordinately unqualified for the position. Remember that the Pentagon is 3 million
servicemen and women and civilians. It is over $900 billion budget. He's never run anywhere near to that size. And frankly, women actually make our military more effective. Yeah. I was mentioning that the female Israeli soldiers were some of the heroes of October 7th and also tried to warn that this was going to happen on October 7th and were ignored.
Anyway, let me just go back to your piece real quick because I just thought it was so many great issues about, you know, Sarah McBride, but just turned to transition in general. You said what I find most interesting about all this is that trans women have been using women's restrooms in the Capitol and the House and Senate office buildings and White House and the Pentagon for many years now, including during all four years of the Trump administration.
Um, and I just love this part. You said, I've washed my hands countless times at the sink next to conservative and Republican women had pleasant and beat brief conversations with many of them. There's never been an issue. I mean, this is so clearly just a not just political football, but a really mean one.
I serve on organizational boards with Republican women. I have shared spaces with Republican and conservative women in DC on a regular basis. This never comes up. It just doesn't come up. It is the kind of cynical red meat that an empty and soulless political party will
shamelessly weaponize in order to distract from the reality that they have no ideas for how to help Americans. They don't. Trump has not introduced any kind of health care plan. They have no plan to address rising costs in health care or childcare or housing for that matter. And this is a big distraction from what really should matter. And I'm so glad that Congresswoman-elect McBride
is coming to DC to focus on her constituents. That is her focus. I've known Sarah for, gosh, almost a decade now. We work together at the Human Rights Campaign. We're very good friends. She is the kind of person who sleeps, eats, and breeds, wanting to find ways to help people in her community. That's all she thinks about. And in that way, she's the exact opposite of Manson May's.
Well, yeah, you said in fact, Mace was on record strongly supporting trans rights before her rebrand in the past few years to pander to the far right. I think people can smell like a lack of core principles and political opportunities. Recently is 2021. Let's let's declare about that as recently as 2021 three years ago, she gave an interview with Metro Weekly, a DC based LGBTQ outlet.
And she was quite clear that she strongly supports trans right. She's strong sports, the LGBTQ community. I mean, this person was by far a clear established moderate on LGBTQ issues within her own party. But when that was not getting her enough airtime, enough radio time, enough donations to her political campaigns and whatever the hell else,
He decided to make a hardcore pivot. And by the way, this past week was the first time that she's brought up trans women in women's restrooms in her entire career.
You make a better point even about the media rather than sharply interrogate this hypocrisy. Most of the political media is more inclined to preserve their access and mollify extremists within the Republican Party. I was saying even before, you know, Joe and Mika went and bent the knee to Trump, he was beating up on trans people and, you know, Democrats got the trans issue. And we were saying,
They spent how many millions of dollars to fear money about a million dollars right to fear manga about trans people It's not like Kamala Harris brought up trans people. This is how they try to fear manga and divide I mean listen I'm a gay woman that lives in Hollywood granted I were barely leave my house. I work in my basement, but
I don't think I knew a trans person until a couple years ago, actually through Dana Goldberg, I met someone who was on the happy hour, and now Charlotte. But I'm like, this is an issue. They're fair. What percentage of the population are you? And they're able to successfully spend millions of dollars to fear monger. I'm sure most people don't know a trans person, and yet they make it seem somehow like this is some egregious threat to your way of life and your family.
According to polling, about two-thirds of Americans believe that they don't personally know a trans person. I say personally know, because a lot of trans people... They probably do, yeah. Right. They probably do, but they don't know they know them. The other thing is that trans people make up about a percent of the population. One out of every hundred Americans is trans. Just one percent.
Yeah. Well, you, you said it again. I know you said this manufactured out, Rachel's, or something that hasn't been a problem with DC pushed by people who didn't have an issue until they saw an opportunity to divide Americans and distract from their long history of policy failures for working class families, all enabled political by political reporters who would much rather the other way. And you just said I'm heartbroken and frustrated in this moment. It's demoralizing to watch extremely shamelessly weaponized bigotry while so many
non-trans adults in politics and media acts as silent bystanders to the hatred unfolding before them you know we just have reported on he was talking about it you know this was gay people to two thousand four member the game you know fear-mongering about gay marriage well trans is the new gate is the new bookity bookity you know somebody weird you don't understand that that you need to hate and it in that way republicans run the same play every time don't they
They do, and it works. And I'll tell you, partly why it works is because, again, much of political media would rather preserve those relationships instead of holding like an official's accountable on blatant lying and misinformation. You know, there are so many political reporters that I deeply respect who are doing the work, who are informing the public, who are holding powerful people across the political spectrum accountable.
But there are also a lot of political reporters who realize that if they say the wrong thing, even if it's true, they might not get invited to the next cocktail party. They might not be able to get mentioned in the next playbook edition. They might not be able to get that next booking gig on CNN or Fox News or MSNBC. DC political media is largely a game. It's how do you get access and then how do you preserve access? And to some extent, I understand that it has to be played.
But I also think that there are a lot of political reporters who pretty shamelessly ask you any sense of journalistic integrity just to maintain those relationships with the worse people in politics. And it's heartbreaking to witness.
Speaking of the worst people in politics, Fox News host Rachel Campos Duffy referred to the first trans member of Congress representative, uh, elect Sarah McBride as he twice during an interview with Nancy Mase. Again, just we see you. You're just being mean. You know, it's like ever since we were kids, we recognize bullying. And this is just bullying in its purest form.
I feel bad for these folks because the church that I go to doesn't, you know, reach that kind of hatred. You know, even if I don't like somebody, even if I don't have their worldview, I'm not going to be cruel to them or mean to them. Because that's what Christ taught. That is what Jesus Christ taught. Those are Christ teachings.
And you have all these folks on Fox News who claim to be saved by the blood of Christ, but they have no time for acting toward others as Christ would. I mean, the double standard really, really makes me angry. And it's very frustrating. And we have to reject that. We have to stand up and say something about it when it happens.
This is why you are so such a powerful warrior, I gotta say, because again, people can smell inauthenticity, they can smell authenticity, and you speak so clearly and eloquently as a Christian, as a veteran, and not just as a trans person, like one thing doesn't define you. It's all of who you are, which is why I costed you when I first met you. And...
You still talk to me even though I screamed like you were Elvis when I saw you. That was one of the best moments of my week at the ANC, by the way. It was me being here and hanging out with you. I was such a joy. Me too. Me too, honey. Thanks for taking. You know, when all this came up, I just was like, I got it. Nobody I would like to talk to more than you. So thanks so much, honey. And thanks. So thankful for you. This Thanksgiving week. Thank you for all you do. I'm thankful for you and your team. I love you, lady. Thank you. Bye. You too, lady. Bye. All right.
Stephanie Miller you are a brainwash far left loon who use any excuse to disparage those with whom you disagree Stephanie Miller
It's Pete in Chicago, everybody. Hi, Pete. Hello, Pete. Right there. Can you hear me? Yes. Go ahead. Hi. Can you hear me? Go ahead. Okay. Um, so I am a liberal in a liberal my own life. And I used to listen to your show on WCPT. And I finally, uh, re-hooked up with you after going to, uh, Sirius. So I'm listening to Sirius. I missed you. Anyway, I wanted to bring a couple points up. I hear you guys talking about trans rights and
You know, I know I was shocked that you didn't know that many trans people. I actually know some trans people and enjoy them. Well, I don't I love fairness. I don't leave my house very much. I'm kind of a loser in general. Like I don't really have much of a social life at all. So it's not, you know, and confirmed, but okay. Um, but anyway, um, so my point is this. I'm going to quickly, uh, high level. We lost the election, I think because of borders.
yes a real issue economy noticed to put it in a general public side and transitional issues mainly because of that and they ran right let's let's start with borders real quick because you are correct but this is where i feel like republicans dirty tricks sometimes work like i think we all know that they're the ones that stop the border bill
But, you know, apparently that messaging didn't get through. People just went borderbroken going to vote for Trump. You know, so this is where I don't like that they get rewarded for their obstructionism and their dirty tricks. I think people just saw that DC stopped the border bill.
but that's the problem is how do we well what you know what we're gonna have to we'll talk to a alphil liberal clichecter about it because that's another one of those issues whether it's the trans ad or not you know i hate to say it but in that sense trump was right to tell them don't kill the border bill because i want to run on it and we all think oh my god that is so transparently awful and he should get the blame for it but he didn't get the blame for it worked i mean so
I don't know what you do about that. The Republicans, they abstract, and then they win politically because of it, and it isn't infuriating. We need to figure it out. I mean, that's the thing. It's like Republicans break the economy every time. Democrats fix it, and then they put Republicans in charge again, and then they break it again, and then, you know, and here we rinse, lather repeat. We got it. We have to. Cliff Schecters needs to save us. Oh, you're putting it on, Cliff?
Amy Siskin writes, more pushback Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, join Amy Klobuchar and her call for FBI background checks for Trump nominees. Mike Rounds said any outsourced background checks would need to be validated. I'm agree with Frank Lagozzi. I think the Biden administration should, for our nation's security, should do background checks on all these people. 29 minutes after the hour, Cliff Schechter coming up.
I think we are all united that attempts to attack a vulnerable community are not only means spirited, but really an attempt to misdirect. Because every single time we hear the incoming administration or Republicans in Congress talk about any vulnerable group in this country, we have to be clear that it is an attempt to distract. It is an attempt to distract from what they are actually doing. Every single time, every single time we hear them say the word trans, look what they're doing with their right hand.
Representative elect Sarah McBride who is awesome one more here. She is One more I think we're all united that attempts to attack a vulnerable community are not only mean-spirited but really
Why? An attempt to misdirect. Because every single time we hear the incoming administration or Republicans in Congress talk about any vulnerable group in this country, we have to be clear that it is an attempt to distract. It is an attempt to distract from what they are actually doing. Every single time we hear them say the word trans, look what they're doing with their right hand.
Yeah, very good point. And to my point to Charlotte, just, you know, we were saying, uh, Katie Kirk, just talking about, I feel like this is one of those issues that's not like left or right to the extent that it just looks mean. Yeah. You know, uh, here's Katie Kirk on that. She doesn't swear on that. Okay, good. This is good. Number three. It just seems not everyone. I'm just so disappointed that this Nancy May, Super Republican from South Carolina,
is being so rude and I don't know, just bigoted against Sarah McBride, who is a new Congress person from the state of Delaware. I know Sarah. She is the first openly transgender member of Congress, and she's an extraordinary human being.
Um, has done a great job representing the people of Delaware and is not going to be doing it in Washington. Yeah. Uh, anyway, I, by the way, so Nancy base says about protecting women, uh, as she is going to, she would have voted for rapists, Matt Gates, allegedly, and she likely won't rape us to a Pete headset allegedly. And she also voted for Donald Trump, a adjudicated rapist. And she also voted against the Violence Against Women Act. Yes.
Yes. Yes. Who said a jury of Donald Trump's peers found him guilty? He is no less guilty because he won an election. Who said that? Jabberjaw. No, that would be future Senator Adam Schiff at the very great state of California. I think that's one of Trump's nicknames for him is Jabberjaw. It might be isn't. It might be. In addition to pencil, neck, watermelon head. Yeah. Uh-huh. Yeah.
Okay, uh, yeah, this is why Senator ship was saying that he should be it should be deferred instead of dismissed obviously, so Hey You mentioned this earlier Joyce fans speaking of our legal ads ladies said Pam Bondi refused to return a dog to a family of Katrina victims after she quote unquote adopted their dog She fought them in court for 16 months before she came back disqualifying character counts
I think the fact that she's on record is an election denier. The fact that she's on record is saying investigators will be investigated and prosecutors will be prosecuted as disqualifying. The fact that she clearly took a bribe for a quid pro quo, you know, about Trump University in Florida, I think is disqualifying.
Uh, okay. Oh, this is in, um, it was all about the price of egg stack. General Motors has laid off a thousand employees despite record earning record profits this year right before the holidays. It is corporate greed. It's corporate greed. It's corporate greed. That's the reason for inflation period. Well, it's it's well, it's also the Trump administration rolling back tax credits for electric. Yes, there's. So where is. Oh, yeah, that's whole. Please. I have a whole stack on. Oh, yes. Hold. Oh, I'm glad you brought this up. Hold on.
I'm like a magician. The fact that I went right in the middle of the stack and found this is amazing. Wow, okay. Three major retailers who will raise prices immediately under Trump because of tariffs. American businesses already threatening to increase their prices when Trump takes office. The reason for this impending price hike. Tariffs, in fact, three major retailers have already announced their prices will increase AutoZone, Columbia Sportswear, and Stanley Blackendacher.
Walmart's already raising prices, targets raising prices. They're already doing it. But her emails. Oh, I'm sorry. That was the last one. But eggs and stuff. Okay. Corey in New Mexico says, Steph, now the margins are narrowing. I wonder if the pundits and all those who so willingly jumped on the Democrat shame train will be honest enough to reevaluate their statements about the election. Don't be ridiculous. Of course they
I wonder if any of them will be humble enough to look at this new data and walk back their quote unquote analysis. Thank you so much, Stephanie, for not getting on that bandwagon. I'm keeping the door open for fact checking. I mean, the tiniest. Look at the graph. Have you looked at the graph?
The tiniest, except for Al Gore, who won the popular vote by like, you know, 0.5, whatever, 500,000 votes or so had he actually been counted. Yes. Thank you. But the tiniest margin ever, Bill in New Jersey. Hello. Hello, Bill. Hi, go ahead. Hi. Well,
Uh, he's back the bastion gorka. Greetings. He's going. What's that? I said greetings. Right. He's been rehired by the Trump administration to be in charge of counter terrorism, which is sort of what he had before before he was thrown out in 2017 because he wore
some sort of weird uniform and a badge from a Hungarian group that helped the Nazis exterminate the Jews in the end of the war. And he's never denied that. I know. No, it's creepy to begin with. I was just going to say in case the Trump cabinet wasn't creepy enough for you yet. Greetings.
Andrew Weinstein said nominating Sebastian Gorka to be the National Director for Counterterrorism was a grievous insult to both the American Jewish and Muslim communities and further imperils our democracy and other obscene addition to the incoming Trump administration. I mean, where do we start? Who said in October five men filed a lawsuit claiming that Linda McMahon and her husband Vince McMahon were aware that a former ringside announcer, Melvin Phillips, who was assaulting Ring Boys, who was young as 13. Who said that?
Funny Bubbles and Bula. No, our new best friend, Heather Cox Richardson. Just with some not so fun facts about the not so fun Trump cabinet. Oh, here, Tristan Smells. No, with some fun facts.
Trump's $25,000 to Pam Bondi was part of a larger trend, $35,000 to Greg Abbott, who declined to pursue Trump University as Texas AG, $50,000 from Trump attorney to Cy Vance, who declined to indict Don Jr. in Ivanka as Manhattan DA, and fundraising for Rudy Giuliani, SDNY halted the probe into alleged mob ties.
Have I missed anybody else in the parade of horribles? Okay. Oh, please. Oh, I'm sorry. Tulsi Gabbard, Trump's pick for director of national intelligence was briefly placed on a TSA list that prompts additional security screening after her overseas travel pattern and foreign connections triggered a government algorithm earlier this year. Okay.
Greg Sargent, Washington Post says, get ready. Pam Bond, these confirmation hearings will be brutal. Drembs will press her on what she'll do when Trump orders prosecutions of enemies. If she'll back pardons of one sixers who attack cops, Trump's threat, the punished media that displeases him. I guess she'll just lie like they all do. She'll just purge her herself because that's not a thing anymore. And if she's the AG, she is a prosecutor. Right. Right. Yeah. Tristan also on Tulsi Gabbard on the TSA watch list.
It's maybe, just maybe, hear me out here. The nominee for Director of National Intelligence should not be someone who made a TSA watch list for her suspicious foreign travel patterns. One would think. Just let him finish here.
Yes, Rick Stengel said the failure to have the FBI vet national security nominees is a danger to every American security and an invitation to our enemies to use what they know against us. I mean, we are at a place once again, so Trump has finished naming his appointees and nominees, but those individuals and their teams still have no special access to the federal agencies, which they'll soon be running, amid an unprecedented, there's that word again. Delay in signing documents and agreements.
between the Trump administration and the Biden administration, Trump's decision to not yet sign the trio of ethics and transparency agreements with the federal government. They're just, they're already saying, we are just completely lawless. We are not going to agree to anything. We're not going to. I mean, I don't know how the transition happens. This is like they are legally required to sign these things.
FBI background checks are just you know normal and I'm like we should do them now before I don't know who's gonna cash Patel is that's who's gonna be in charge of the FBI I mean Right they've already let slip they're gonna fire Chris Ray, which by the way, I'm not a Chris Ray fan, but so but that that's again signaling that there's not going to be you know, yeah Okay, did I
Does anyone else need a break from politics for a moment? Sure. We get one? This just made me laugh. Okay. Seth tweets, me. I think I'll open this kitchen drawer. Potato masher. You will. Every time. That happens to me every day. You want to know why? Okay, so in the living room where I do my show prep, I have a thing that I think I'm...
What do you call it? It's a plastic thing that I put my show prep on and then a light so I can see my show prep. That gets jammed in there every single time and I got to go get a butter knife to get that pry that drawer open. Because the drawer is the wedge shut and it happens every time. I think, no, no, I got it in there right this time. Can you take the light off? Potato masher. Why do they make a potato masher that? Do you need to mash any potatoes? No.
Maybe I should put a potato masher in there to pry the door open. Does the light come off of the thing? Do you ever make mashed potatoes? No. I didn't think so. No. Why do we have potato mashers? To mash the potatoes. Well, some people like to mash their own potatoes. Yeah. Well, that's just communism.
Melissa in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Steph, I'm a serious ex. I'm a subscriber. I'm listening to your show since 2016. Love it. It keeps me sane. I was listening to Molly, John Fast, and she was talking to Charlie Sykes. Charlie Sykes called Matt Gates, Rapey McFourhead. Molly started cracking up when she heard that and asked if he made it up or heard it somewhere. He said he heard it somewhere he couldn't remember where. And I was screaming from the Stephanie Miller Show at my radio. Thank you. Molly.
That's mine. Ricky McQuorke. Everything originates from. Stephanie Miller. Charlie Sykes. Don't remember where you heard it. She's Charlie. Okay. You little assy. Orwell said, I would replace Morning Joe with the Stephanie Miller show. That's very sweet. That's not going to happen. But listen. We tried once before. It didn't take.
It was never going to take. But please, I made a point earlier, social media, but not very well. I got the wrong Stephanie Rule. I put Stephanie Ruble. I didn't really see it. Listen, it's too many places to post now. And everybody's on different things, so then I got accused of being a racist because I love Joy Reid out of one of them, even though I love her. If you've listened, you know I love Joy Reid.
That was an idea, that was the best morning show ever. Put that in morning Joe's place and then put something else. That weekend show was very good with what do you call it? Michael Steele and Alicia Menendez and Simone Sanders. I know you don't like Simone Sanders. Everyone's got, I know, I've got my favorites too. But that's a very good show. Jen Psaki's great. They have a lot of great talent there. Simone Sanders makes me wrinkle my nose. Well, I'm sure that you make her wrinkle her nose too. So I'll give you your backwards hat wear and fake rapper now.
Yep, this hat bothers people so much that I'm gonna wear it every single effing day. Dish bro beanie hat. I guess he said nothing about my baseball cap every day. Oh, it's on right. Oh, you're doing it wrong. Well, my point was there's a lot of great talent. I need to see you. I need to cover all this.
My point is there's a lot of great talent to support them because it's going to take a year for this whatever Comcast is spinning off all of these channels. It's not just MSNBC, but they made a new deal with a new five-year deal with Rachel Maddow, which I think was super smart because, as they said, she is ratings Viagra. But anyway, but also a lot of other great truth tellers there. Katie Fang, I didn't mean to leave out Katie Fang. She's fantastic. Who else? I didn't mean to leave out anybody.
I should have just said everyone but morning jump. That would have been faster. There you go. 48 minutes after the hour. Don't let the door hit you in the ass, Andrea. Okay. Oh, that was rude.
Okay, she's already leaving. 48 minutes after the hour. No, I was saying business-wise though, they should keep it liberal, because you don't need two Fox News. I know there's speculation that Juan Musk is going to buy it. You're not going to, there's already 70 billion Fox rip-offs, right? News, Max, and whatever the, you know, all that. So we need a good, strong, progressive channels to support the people that, you know, do that. Right. Thank you, Jodi.
Sport to be able to do that. Can't complete a sentence. 48 minutes. Not me. And that's the way the news goes. It's the Stephanie Miller Show.
uh-oh Elon Musk has reportedly threatens to spend billions to unseat all Republican senators who force Matt Gaetz to drop out. Yes! Fight, fight, fight! Big bag of rats! Oh my god, girl. Let's just wait till they lord out of flies each other. Yeah! Yeah! They should all get out. Okay. Who says of the Gaetz report, the Matt Rapie McCorhead?
i don't think when so much sites to avoid public accountability they simply leave congress and make it all go away the taxpayers paid for that analysis in that report i think they have a right to see it who said that big al no uh... future senator adamship of the great state of california who is correct uh... suen rockville is a very lone supporter of chris's chris's backward hat only person hello
Man, listen, I always give Chris a hard time. So I want to say Chris, you look great and whatever you choose to wear is your business and everyone else can suck it up. That's exactly what I say. Wow, thank you. Thank you. I suppose, if you saw what I wore every day, well, anyway, you'd never take a call with mine. But I want to make you all a very happy Thanksgiving. You too.
This is the year we get a whole family here. All six little little grands will be a little less a little bit. My whole family will be together. I am grateful for them. I am grateful that they are learned, they study, they think, and they are informed and they tell the truth. And that's what you do. You do. That's because they have an awesome mima.
All right, so happy Thanksgiving. We're so thankful for all of you, all of our listeners. By the way, on this same subject, Harry Lipman, our legal lead, makes the cases to why Merrick Garland must release the reports on Trump's cases. He said if Trump gets his way, history's record of his crimes will be replaced by blank pages. Thank you. Thank you. And thank you. That is it.
I guess we can't just fight, give up the thought of justice without a fight. One last one real quick, Dr. Eric writes, vaccines against COVID-19 saved over 20 million lives in the first year alone, according to a new study in Lancet. I mean, it's a little horrifying what we are on the precipice on. Whoever did the bird eating the worm out of Bobby Kennedy's head, that was fantastic. Thank you for that. Good checker next.
Stephanie Miller
If you talk broad themes, you have to boil it down to nuts and bolts, and you have to be piffy. What do I mean by piffy? How about this? Republicans want to kill your kids. It's actually true. If you're going to oppose vaccinations, if you're going to stop breakthrough medical research, if you're going to allow minors and all sorts of people to get semi-automatic weapons, which they use to shoot up schools, well then you are responsible for kids.
health and death, unfortunately. It has to be that simple and that direct and it has to be over and over and over again. That breaks through? It absolutely does. From a Republican Jen Rubin, Alpha Liberalling. Why? What a... Okay, David in view for Georgia says, Steph, only you. Only you have been able to lift the fog for me. I'm coming out of my election fever dream. Thanks to you and the crew. The only...
Only politics. Only. I've been able to handle. Thank you. Thank you for being all around wonderful, for bringing the many smart thoughtful voices to this amazing community you have built. Thanks to Jodi, too, who stands, I agree with. We need to be and stay pissed. Thanks to Al Malcolm, who is right again. This is a fight. Jodi is a middle child, a Capricorn and Irish. And Irish, so, yeah. Yeah. She is going to stay mad for the next four years. And she's going to fight, isn't she? You're going to fight.
He can't get it. Oh, you can't find Jody's fights. Well, no, I found it. It's just how that is set up. It's I have to search for it. So it's all right. And I was trying to search for it and then you called for it and I'm like, OK, search is done. OK, all right. Well, we'll we'll bump back with it. OK, it's super snarly and sexy and angry. I hope you're taking all that out of Lonnie. Bobcat. OK, what's my back hurts all the time? Speaking of alpha liberals.
Yeah! Yeah!
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good morning, cliff sector. Hiya. Well, hey, how are you? Oh, hi. Oh, you look startled to be on. Hi.
I actually was quickly, because I care so much, Stephanie, about us, was promoting that I was going to be on on my various 47 different Twitter-like apps. Yeah, me too. I'm like, yeah. Thank God I didn't have no life, because I post everywhere. I don't know what way is off at this point. I may just retreat to YouTube and hide, because I've been happy there. You just know, as Jody Hamilton says, that we need to fight. We need to fight. Oh, it's not about luck.
yeah okay all right now we're in the majority of it yeah but let's see we have had this conversation i jokingly but all the people we have on the show are awful liberals you bob sesco which thank god you're uh... you know uh... part of the the uh... tuesday bob sesco shogun now you guys are both fantastic together but we thank you having this conversation for a long time haven't we about alpha liberals about that we need to somehow
either i don't think we have to lie and cheat the way they do but i think we have to fight differently somehow and i think it interestingly what jenn rubens that is is uh... you know i i don't know if you heard it but i think that that's that's an example isn't it
It is. I mean, again, I'm not acting like I'm some genius because there've been a lot of other people who've been saying this as long as me. But you know, there are clips that Bob loves to show that one where I beat up on Kleta Mitchell up on MSNBC. I got banned for that, but right back then. Because I was too mean, liberals were supposed to be mean.
We were just spitting facts. You were talking about all of the Republicans that were indicted and crooked. I don't know how to do this any other way, so I don't get humidity. I don't get bending the knee. None of that makes sense to me. When someone is a bully and they punch you, you punch them in the nose back, and of course I'm talking rhetorically here.
But so no, we don't need to lie and cheat, but what Mike might refrain for 20 years now, and we've gotten better, right? We have some great ones in the house, but I kept asking are we going to be able to get there soon enough and have enough of a critical mass and we didn't, which is
Everything they say, with the same passion, they lie and weave conspiracies about us. We need to tell the truth about them, because we don't need to lie. Everything they stand for, everything they are is unpopular to three putters of the populace. How could lies be any worse about Donald Trump?
than the tree that we're going to make up i mean well let me let me ask you about one issue because somebody we had a caller uh... that was talking about the border is obviously one of the issues and i said the thing that is so infuriating is republicans have figured out how to make their obstructionism work politically like let's face it they you know they're being obstructionist douche bags worked in this case and we thought i got this is so out in the open this isn't going to work like trump literally is telling them to kill the most conservative border bill ever you know
But it worked so that they could continue to fear monger on the border and when we all know it was Trump and Republicans that killed the border bill.
But, and again, look, this is the same problem we've had, right? They have this huge megaphone. They put, they dump billions into it again. As I like to say before, if anybody thinks that Ben Shapiro, a guy who sounds like he sucked on a helium, helium balloon for overnight, you know, and makes muscles that go downward and, you know, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,
became a phenomenon on his own. Somebody at that time, I remember looking with spending, I might think, hundreds of thousands, million on Facebook ads to create him. And I'll just say it, because it sounds self-serving, so I'm gonna talk about me, you. Like, where, somebody should just say, here's Stephanie Miller, you'll like this. Here's $5 million. No, I'm serious, though. Like, not $5 million, stuff your pockets and go live on an island. But here's $5 million. Expand your staff, expand your footprint.
You know, get modern technology, blow up, advertise, we even more, do everything. Nobody does this on our side, so we're all left to our own. Thank you. And the vast majority of people like me and you who haven't found ways to make it this and make a living, I have so many smart messaging people on the left.
They're, we've lost the generation of them. They're doing corporate comms because they could not. The right would have said here, have a seat at the Heritage Foundation for a quarter million a year. Go on Fox. Yeah. Contributorship. I'm not going to belabor, but the point is, is that that we, you know, if we stand up and fight on those issues right away and don't let the obstruction work, we've a louder megaphone and we
Because losing, Cliff is someone that's worked on real issues your whole life, losing just a complete bed of lies isn't infuriating. Because it's not just the border, it's that Haitians are eating your pets and they're using your money to do transsurgery on illegals in prison.
and they're taking care taking your fema money and give it to to to you know uh... what do you call it to illegal immigrants i mean at this story so as some this is the republican wet dream such some Haitian migrants who made international headlines in september are leaving or planning to leave the ohio city a lot of them restaurant workers so all these maggots are going to be like how come it takes an hour and a half to get my entree
Yeah. My fruit salad is $47. I hope they pay all those prices. And again, you know, look, is some of it true? Absolutely. My 14-year-old went to school the other day. A boy and came home a girl. I mean, they do that surgery obviously in three hours. So you wouldn't want to tell people that when Donald Trump says that, he's a lying conspiratorial lunatic and not fit for the office, you'd want to repeat it in stain wash them like the New York Times. I mean, again, we can't trust mainstream media
We need our media to grow, we need our people to invest, and we must be messaging the Swalwells. A lot of them, again, Californians, you guys lead the way. Newsome, Swalwell, Ted Liu, Adam Schiff, are some of my favorites, but Dan Goldman is fantastic. He's a placket who can't even vote because she's from the U.S. Virgin Islands. She doesn't even have a vote in there, and she's proper than most of the people that do.
Here's another Alpha Liberal question that we mentioned earlier, and I wanted to say it for you. So what's his name, Hobag? The incoming borders are? Tom Hobag, yes. Right.
Chris is keeper of the facts. Trump plans plans for the mass deportation of migrants would have the states who do not cooperate with his plans for mass deportation would have their federal funding slashed in retribution. He said that's going to happen. I guarantee President Trump will do that. Well, you know, someone suggested what, okay,
well all the blue states will withhold our tax dollars that which fund all of you the poor socialist red states all the taker states you know i mean we've got to find ways to fight back don't we
We do. And I love what Gavin Newsom is doing. And people, again, our side so misunderstands just the value of PR, the value it tries me insane. Like, could you see that clip that went viral of the Mayori in New Zealand getting up and doing a dance? Yes. And they were going to rewrite the treaty. That was beautiful.
Spectacle gets attention. I'm not saying we get up and do, but get up and make noise. Get up and get attention. And I mean, right now in cities like, I don't know everywhere, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Austin, Texas, whatever, do they have the power if they know the federal government? No, but why isn't every city council passing a resolution? We will not comply when it comes to immigrants. We will not comply with your stupid. We're going to try to enforce gun laws in any way we can. This is the stuff the right stuff.
And if we were constantly messaging from the lowest level to the top, while building this infrastructure, they would stop being able to dominate on these stupid issues, hit fringe issues and conspiracies, and beat us with them. And it's infuriating. Yes, it is. Because I've been fighting lies for years, and they've proven they're in strong obstruction work for years. Mitch McConnell stopped the Supreme Court's office. That was back in 2015.
this is a post-Trump thing in the long-term republicans. Yeah, for instance, you know, Frank Luguzzi is the one that first put out there that the Biden administration should do the FBI background checks on all these people for, you know, national security purposes. But I just feel like, oh, we just, oh, we don't fight that way. You know, we're institutionalists and blah, blah, blah.
It's time to stop. I'm so sick of it. Like, we don't do it, you know, like our side set, you know, like our people. Here's what they can do right now. There's, I'm sure there's undersecretary, all sorts of positions that don't need to be confirmed by the Senate. Put people there. Build every position with somebody. Judges, get every single one through. Yeah. Death penalty. It's barbaric. We don't believe in it. Commute all of them and give them like sentences.
and by the way clip to your point he's not the great powerful eyes you know like what when he's like no recess appointment until i'm in office everyone's like you like you know he's not president yet also you know all the people i'm sure taunting you and all of us on you know social media get used to it met you know matt gates could be returned generally it's done deal it's like well no it you know well isn't you know so when we fight we still we you know with
Maybe we might, we're not going to win a lot of them, but we're going to win some of them, you know, but we won't win any of them if we give up. So I just want to say some of those MAGA guys are like, you know, you know, my choice, your body. And listen, we've seen the choices, all you guys have made with your body. Sorry. I don't want my saturated fat to go up to about 47% of what my body is. Now, you don't get to make choices about anybody's bodies. You don't get to know, just because you guys can't go near a woman's body who's actually interested in you. Stay the hell away.
By the way, Mark from Tennessee said watching a Trump administration ramp up is like watching a bunch of drunk frat boys assemble a futon. They threw away the instructions, the bases warped, it's not properly supported, but they do have a lot of wing nuts. Yes, I think we could all say that.
No, they're just, and we should even let ourselves get distracted by that stuff. I said for a while, and I'm sorry, I have to, we have to brag because no one else is going to about us. I ended up being right. I said, Democrats don't waste your time on that gate. The Republican, we need people need to understand what's going on. The Republican coalition hates him.
They all hate them. They're all scared of what's in that report. They were always going to stop them on their own. I did a video where I said, if they make us do a hearing, every Democrat should get up like at the end of Animal House, where they walk out singing my country, Tiz of the, I'm not saying we should have done that. But maybe, and just go to get up in front of a microphone and say, he's unserious. He's been investigated for serious crimes. He has no experience in this. This is below us as a country. You all Republican in the Senate toasted vote for him.
For Trump, you figure it out. We're not even participating in this. Yeah. And now we have Pam Bondi, who absolutely should be disqualified for being an election denier, who should be, you know, disqualified for taking a obvious bribe from Donald Trump should be for saying investigators will be investigated and prosecutors will be prosecuted. I mean, all should be disqualified to him too. Huh?
She also gave him an illegal donation from a 501c3 from a nonprofit to hit. I mean, but she's going to get through because again, that's not going to be bad enough. I hate to say it, but Gates was always obvious, you know, and we also have to remember any divisions we can find. McConnell got soon in there instead of Rick Scott, who the MAGA wanted. McConnell still is, I hate this, trust me, because I hate McConnell.
But he has institutional power. They owe him their seats, a lot of those centers. He raised them dirty corporate money. Play the divisions up. Big pharma. You think big pharma is going to allow Roberts to be junior to stop research and run infectious diseases for eight years and put people in prison for Adderall? Yeah. The pharma is going to stop. So just let them pay. Yeah. Oh, no, I said, I mean, Elon Musk threatening to, you know, primary anybody that wasn't going to vote for Gates or like you have out at all years. Fine.
Stephanie Miller don't worry sweetie. I think I know how to whip up an audience just short of a frenzy Stephanie Miller
What? What you mean to him? What? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him? What you mean to him?
And you're like the permanent Tuesday co-host of the Bob Sester show now. Yes. It's insane. I almost, and I just got invited on by Fugel saying, so I'm like, I'm not messing around when it comes to the sexy liberal universe. Can I say? I am not messing around. This is our superpower. Is everybody you've mentioned, everybody in this universe is funny, is smart.
We don't just talk about politics. I think that's really, you know, important. We've been obsessed with this tweet. Every pet owner is an unpaid voice actor and songwriter because that is a very large part of my life too. It's how I release my stress. Yeah. Mike, I don't know what your song is. Mine is these little dogs of mine. I'm gonna let them shine. I don't know why. That's just their song. That's weird. Yeah. That's my voice word. You dig it. You dig it. You know? Right?
We got obsessed with why you can't there's that one drawer that the potato masher always gets stuck in and then you can't open the drawer. There's always some drawer that you have something in there that's
Yeah, and then I usually end up forcing it and breaking the drawer. Yeah. My wife really, my wife really appreciates that quality. I'm sure that won't be why she eventually leaves me. When I've broken enough drawer. We see you, man. There's always a, babe, this is got a soak. And then the right, the death's another trick, a man trick. You put a thing into soak and that just means I'm not going to clean this. I'm just going to put it in a sink. Oh, I did that one. And if it stays, if it stays there a month and a half, I'm going to pretend I don't see it.
There's a simple theory for why we're so screwed up right now, which is men on average suck, but liberal men are better in that, like we at least try to understand to a certain degree other people, whereas the other men are just caught in their evolutionary, you know, lizard brain ridiculousness and don't walk through. That's a neutral. That's a T-shirt for us. Liberal men suck less. Yeah. All right. All right. That's good stuff.
Donald Trump didn't even know about those allegations until after he named him. Is that your understanding?
John, all these are, as you said, are allegations. It's amazing how this comes out. Pete is a very talented individual. I talked with him earlier this week. He told me, John, about how many people have written to him and said, look, I was thinking about getting out. You know, we have a huge recruitment problem, a huge retention problem in the military. I was thinking about getting out, but now that you've come to lead us, Pete, I'm going to stay in. That's the type of inspirational leader we need to see. Don't let these allegations distract us. Oh, oh, I see. Rape is just a distraction now, Cliff. That's how that works.
Wow, I find lots of inspiration and rapists with Aryan tattoos. Thank you. You know, forgot about the Aryan tattoos. Yeah, I mean, we can how many times can we say it cliff? Women don't go get a rape kit run on them at the hospital if they've had consensual sex. You know, men don't generally pay women off if nothing happened. I mean, it's
uh... it let me again yeah you can say that we don't have all the details he paid her off let's all be adults and say we know what happened senator duckworth about this mister hegseth is acknowledged that he paid a woman back in twenty seventeen to quiet her accusations of sexual assault he claims it was consensual sex i'm sure you've read that monoray police report as we did here it refers to the offense code as quote rape victim unconscious of the nature of the act it details both the accusers
and Higgs's version of events. Here's what Senator Mark Wayne Mullins said it shows. Two people flirting with each other. Is the committee going to speak with the victim to ask if this was a misunderstanding? Well, that will be the decision of the Republican chairman of the committee next year. I hope that we will, but I suspect that they again will roll over for Mr. Trump. Frankly, I will raise those questions.
I mean, there's the other thing. First of all, as she also said, he's not at all qualified to run an enormous department like this. He also openly fantasized about a violent clash between the US military and its political rivals, who he describes as domestic enemies.
like Trump does. He wrote this book, right? In 2020, imagining the outcome of that year's election would lead to a national divorce in a civil war that would involve the military and law enforcement taking up arms against Biden supporters. The name of his book is American Crusade. So subtle. Yeah.
Not related at all to the Aryan stuff he has. Also, I wonder when he wrote that book, were there a multi-syllabic word in it? He sort of sticked it to the simple one. I mean, in any case, what was the highest rank as you said before? Major or something? Yeah. Even if you didn't have the Aryan tactic, you know, and
of me a rapist he was a major something like that and he was so extreme in his views and what he wrote about in his what's called a book um more of a vomiting on paper that in the end the the guy was pulled off in 2020 of inauguration but they couldn't trust that he might not do something to harm the city that the
President of the United States being inaugurated. I mean, is that not enough? I mean, where are we? Where are we? Thank you. Well, how about this other part of his book? His book, he describes a 2019 conversation between him and Trump after he urged Trump to pardon the service members who had been charged with war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan. He said, the phone call ended with a compliment to me. I'll never forget. I might put on my tombstone. You're a warrior, Pete, a warrior. I thanked him for his courage.
Is the courage to pardon more criminals? I mean, once again, where are we? I think somebody needs it. Look, it's badly. That's not going to stop it. And Republicans aren't particularly targeting women as a group. Yeah. So if I were right now, the simple thing I think you have to do is you go, you literally have to go to APAC and other Jewish organizations that have influence and get them to stop him because of the Nazi thing.
yeah that's your best chance to stop it well and okay this is what are we calling the rape now a distraction uh... this is leslie marshall with the on jonathan carl leslie media i'd obtain this police report from california tharities from back in twenty seventeen and says you know exes pete very very drunk he got into a fight with jane dole that's how she's being referred to that she repeatedly said no uh... and the rape kit confirmed the sexual encounter again pete exes says this was consensual
I dreaded talking about this today. I met Pete a long time ago. We spent middle of the night waiting to go on during 2016 before the election and I like him as a person with all due respect to my former colleague. We know that there were three cases of adultery for Pete Haggs and it is relevant.
Yeah, one more, sorry. And the reason why it's relevant is Article 134 of the UCMJ considers adultery against the military, which the Department of Defense is part of. You can't lead an entire organization and all these people if you can't lead by example, one, two. I am a rape victim, and I can tell you there's a reason one in 10 rapes go unreported.
And it's very difficult for a woman to go in and have a rape kit done. It's physically, mentally, and emotionally very difficult to go through that process as I have. And I can tell you that just very personal in my deep core, somebody doesn't do that with their husband and their kids in the hotel texting their husband. Yeah. Yeah. And one last one, sorry.
Somebody doesn't go into the hospital and subject herself to that. And I have to say, as a woman and as a victim, I believe the victims. And this is a problem for me, the sexual impropriety. And then on top of that, although Pete has an incredible military career, he doesn't have the leadership career in the military that I feel the Department of Defense requires as their head.
uh... i just boy it but this is like part if you've got a rapist adjudicated this is the president right you know i mean met he'd nominated attorney general who's you know uh... alleged sex trafficker uh... he this is a junior sexual assault yeah you know
The babysitter RFK juniors babies among the zillion other reasons he's not qualified almost like that's told to you like the only thing she's missing if she would sexually assault somebody she had a better chance of being right I mean seriously I mean who
I just, again, and the thing is you lose the smaller things in the bigger things. And you just said, we're to sit here and list them. Arian Prah got disqualified from the inauguration, wrote this ridiculous book is a guy who, who obviously doesn't have a leadership ability and only made it to major. He's a rapist. Oh, and then let's throw out the fact that he said, yeah, yeah, allegedly is important to say. And that you just paid somebody. So he's not a rapist because he gets any case allegedly.
And he has had seven kids with three women. He was cheating on his wife with a fox and he was producer in the military. You get more commercial for that. You get picked out of the military for committing adultery. I didn't even think about that. That's an important thing.
These people are despicable, you can't find better, which is I can't stand Marco Rubio, and I can't. At least he hasn't done any of this garbage. He's a spineless weasel, but at least. Right. Are there plenty of spineless weasel maggas there? They can find a good job, but who haven't like raped me or allegedly raped people?
I mean, we're at the point where even the horrible people in Trump's last administration are saying how horrible former search in general, Dr. Jerome Adams warned that the new Trump health regime, you know, with Bobby Kennedy, et cetera, had better have strong infectious disease, have a strong infectious disease plan and restore vaccine confidence, or we could face outbreaks throughout the next term. Do you think anything that's going to happen under brain warm? What are you kidding me?
I mean, like, what's he going to do? You know, he's not going to do any of that stuff. He's just going to probably be traipsing around with a large whale head on the top of his car, dressed in like a dead cub suit, you know, while he's got a brainworm. I mean, who would eat freak that these people find? I mean, there's nobody even semi-normal?
yes speaking of really horrible people from the last of the administration saying how really horrible these new people are here's john bolden on Sebastian gorka Sebastian gorka is a con man i wouldn't have him in any u.s. government fortunately it's not the the highest position he had been mentioned for
But I don't think it's going to bode well for counterterrorism efforts when the NSC's senior director is somebody like that. And this is why obviously everybody is now focusing on the top jobs. But the questions of who are the deputy secretaries, who are the under secretaries and so on, is also going to tell us a lot about who's actually running the government.
he needs a full field fb i background investigation about it is his educational claims and things like that i don't i think he is a perfect example of somebody who owes his position purely to donald trump he's he doesn't display loyalty he displays fealty and that's what trump wants he doesn't want gorkers opinions he wants gorka to say yes sir and i am fully confident that's exactly what will happen
We just have no idea of the show. This is not bad. It's going to happen. You know what? We can't even again, just like with Hagg's death. Nobody brings up the fact that this guy was a member of this organization. And I think it was called the Hungarian cross. It literally was founded by remnants of the Nazi party in Hungary. Yeah. And they found this organization and he was a part of it before he came to the United States. He was part of a neo-Nazi group. Like how much?
I mean, I don't even know what to say at some point. I mean, this is such a ludicrous group. If you just asked me, like, come up with a more ridiculous group, I would like, OK, yeah, they got Jeffrey Dahmer. Yeah, we have me. I know that Tulsi Gabbard was not a TSA. I'm just going to go on a limb and say, I don't think someone on a no-fly list should be the head of director of national intelligence. But that's just me.
Yeah, you can randomly walk down the street and pick six people and almost every case would be better than the people each other. Yeah, I it's so interesting you mentioned Nazis because Charlotte climbers like oh, how come you have that poster? I'm like that's my dad go water miller
And I first of all, I said, first of all, that was a landslide. Trump did not want anything resembling a landslide. But secondly, he was a Nuremberg prosecutor. And I'm, again, Cliff going to go out on a limb and say, I'm still Nazi's bad. You know, Nazi's bad. I'm in that camp. Yeah, it's amazing how that that was a bipartisan thing. Used to be. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Republicans were very much on our side on those kinds of things. It is amazing. Again, when you go back to Goldwater Miller or you go back to any, I mean, you go back, you find Nixon of all people creating the EPA. Like the Republicans actually as bad as Nixon was, believed in some form of government and not just carrying everything down and destroying everything like these people. Yeah. Let's go back to Eisenhower tax rates. How about that?
percent tax rate. Right? I mean, of course I'm concerned when it comes to billionaires, I think we should.
I mean, I honestly think, I think you have over a billion dollars, everything at that point, I would pack like 90% for up to me. So what do you need that for? What do you think's going to happen? Let's talk about Trump was scheduled to be sentenced next week for dozens of convictions in the New York Hush Money case, Judge Mershan, granted a delay ahead of Trump's team's arguing the case should be dismissed entirely. Trump's lawyers are scheduled to make arguments for dismissing the case by December 2nd, prosecutors will have until December 9th to respond.
But the filing says no current law establishes that a president's temporary immunity from prosecution requires dismissal of a post trial criminal proceeding that was initiated at a time when the defendant was not immune from criminal prosecution and that is based on unofficial conduct for which the defendant is also not immune. I mean, as you say, where are we right now in America if you have been convicted by a jury of your peers and we can just be like, oh, that just didn't happen.
I mean, these are the cultural things in democracies that are the bedrock of a democratic republic, that if you get rid of, you usually don't get back. And the thing is, if the rule of law is that far gone, that this man with what he's done throughout his entire life cannot be held accountable for anything, I'm sure that doesn't send a message.
You know, like, what does that tell everybody? What does it tell everybody of a younger generation? What do I tell my kids? You know, like... Well, I keep saying this broke culture we keep talking about, you know, the message they're sending is rape is fine, and you can get away with it, and women are all lying hoars.
I mean, no, seriously, it is. I mean, Elon Musk also got charged with sexual harassment by one of the employees of SpaceX. Like every single one of them, it's like a badge of honor. You have to have sexually harassed or assaulted a woman, allegedly, to be a member of the cabinet, I guess, as a man. I've seen Elon Musk in a swimsuit. I just so people.
You're saying some women have actually... He's a schmoo. Wanted to? Yeah. Touch you. That large pale. He looked like happy fun ball, whatever that... Yes! Looks like something Jacques Cousteau found. It's like, oh, they had to roar back. Just put him back in the bottom of the ocean! He's one of those fish that makes its own light at the very bottom of the ocean. Okay. Family! Yes, family! It's the Stephanie Miller Show.
Alpha Liberal, Cliff Schechter is here, real quick, Heather in Portland, Stephanie Gang. While the circular firing squad among Dems is hardly surprising, I'm glad to hear you and a few others asking in the real question, why not only do Democrats need to change when the reality is that progressive policies are more popular?
When a woman goes back to an abusive ex, it's not because all the nice guys aren't nice enough. There was no perfect policy or interview or turn a phrase that could have changed the minds of the millions of people who feed on a constant diet of lies. The dysfunction in this country runs deep. I don't recall a lot of soul searching among Republicans when Trump lost the popular vote twice. I don't see anyone trying to reach across the aisle and build unity, just claiming a mandate before all the votes are even counted. Thanks for everything you all do for Make Us Feel sane and supported.
Yeah, that's why I'm losing patience with the circular firing squad. And also, Glenn, Glenn, Glenn, Glenn, what? I feel like one thing we learned is that polling and pundits wrong again, like these two stories this morning, poll, most opposed Trump, Jay, six pardons, and women in combat ban. Again, people are on our side.
This poll nearly 60% of Americans approve of Trump's handling of the transition. What? I mean, I most people obviously are not reacting well to his cabinet picks. So I just what is your take today on polling?
sadly it's it's just going to be the same thing first of all the right wing stuff that puts out calls that are fake i don't know which these are right but it's generally going to be the same thing you know and like lots of other people have said it they have an enormous you know it's self-perpetuating aidra and megaphone that forces its way into mainstream media with it they own local ev stations with thin claire they own local radio with
They get into people's minds and reinforce. If you listen to your local radio, you listen to your local TV, it's unclear. Then you turn on Fox News. You're hearing all the same garbage, and we have not even tried to compete for the most part. The people that have been successful, like you, have done it on your own. No one's sitting there dumping, and if we will build a megaphone so people will not be so misinformed. Remember, they had to lie, cheat, cheat, lie, cheat.
I can't even pick English, but they did do all of that and we've conspiracies and still, you know, like little, little victory, not his huge victory. It's at 1.5%. There's still a bunch of votes to count in California. You didn't have that at 1.4 or 1.3. And when Bush won in 2004, it was a little bit over 2%. They have to do everything right and live out of everything to barely win.
So America's with us, we just need to get them the correct information by putting money into the place as we can do that and we will win. And one of those places is Cliff Shatter's Patreon page, his YouTube channel, his new co-hosting gig on the Bob Seska show. We love you Cliff Shatter, we'll see you next time.
