- Cultural Shift: Rubin posits that the rise of alternative media and the failures of the establishment are paving the way for a new political landscape where collaboration over division might become more significant.
- Potential for Reconciliation: The dialogue about Trump's past and his potential future speaks to voters who may feel neglected or marginalized, irrespective of their political leanings.
Conclusion
The podcast encapsulates the heated intersections of politics, media, and public sentiments in a post-Trump era. Scarborough and Brzezinski’s meeting with Trump has unearthed critical discussions about hypocrisy in journalism, media trust, and the cultural shifts affecting voter opinions today. Through the discourse, it becomes clear that the political landscape is evolving, and how figures on both sides navigate these changes will significantly influence the future of both major political parties.

It's a crazy world! Crazy world! Somebody gotta have the same food!
All right, guys, it's November 19th in the year 2024. I'm Dave Rubin. This is the Rubin Report. We are live streaming on Rumble YouTube and locals post game show Rubin Report dot locals dot com. As always, if you have some extra thoughts, questions, if you just need to rant, if you've just got to say something to somebody, join us over on locals.
say it to me, say it to the team, we discuss it and then maybe, maybe it just percolates into tomorrow's show. You never know. But as for today's show, I feel this is a very complete program. We have a little bit of everything in here. I think it's a nice package of everything that's happening culturally
And politically, we've got some of the good guys, some of the bad guys. We've got some clips of the view. We've got a little something of Bill Maher. We have some of the people over at the televised mental institution known as MSNBC. And we've got some of the people who are making some sense in the world right now. So why don't we just dive right into it? So Joe Scarborough, and you know this guy, morning Joe over on MSNBC. This is a guy who's largely gotten everything wrong. He is one of the
Prime purveyors, I would say, of all the hysteria and the lies that we have been subjected to over the couple of years. His co-hosts on the show is his wife, Mika Brzezinski. The fact that they're married just seems so freaking bizarre as they sit there in their little boxes and it's so stiff and stilted and okay, whatever. But this is a guy who lied about all of the stuff. I mean, and the big things over the last couple of months was just days.
after Joe Biden's debacle and the debate back in June was still saying that this guy is mentally fit to be president. He has just lied and been awful and called everybody racist and everything else. Well, the same people, Mika and Joe, who said that Donald Trump was Hitler, they went over to Mar-a-Lago to have a little tea with them. And they talked about that yesterday.
Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from so many people, from political leaders to regular citizens deeply dismayed by several of President-elect Trump's cabinet selections, and they are scared. Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the President-elect himself.
On Friday, we were given the opportunity to do just that. Joe and I went to Mar-a-Lago to meet personally with President-elect Trump. It was the first time we have seen him in seven years.
Now we talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, mass deportation, threats of political retribution against political opponents, and media outlets. We talked about that a good bit. And it's gonna come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show, has watched it over the past year or over the past decade, that we didn't see eye to eye on a lot of issues, and we told him so.
What we did agree on was to restart communications. My father often spoke with world leaders with whom he and the United States profoundly disagreed. That's a task shared by reporters and commentators alike. We had not spoken to President Trump since March of 2020, other than a personal call, Joe made to Trump on the morning after the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania.
This was Jeopardy, the question would be what are inauthentic, robotic, humanoid news people like. First off, do you realize how hilarious it is they're sitting in the same room. They're at the same big desk, but they have two different cameras so that they're in boxes next to each other, which
That's just weird in and of itself, right? And as they go back and forth, they're married, and they're going back and forth talking like robots. Like, is that how they have dirty talk at night? I'm going to squeeze your breast. Oh, you are going to squeeze my breast. A lot of breast squeezing, I don't know, just, no, not whatever. Anyway.
I might I offer a little criticism of Donald Trump here, which is that, dude, you don't have to play with these people anymore. You don't have to invite these people who will sandbag you at any given opportunity who have lied about everything. I get why Trump does it, right? Trump has a relationship with the media that they everyone sort of in on it that kind of keeps the show going. But enough of these losers, like the day that we officially go like this and we say they are so irrelevant now and the day is coming. I keep telling you that.
The day is coming. Maybe the day will be January 20th when Trump is actually sworn in and then it's like goodbye to all of you losers. We're still in this, we're in this purgatory period. I would say while President Trump is on.
President-elect, in essence. But these people do not deserve our respect. They don't deserve Trump's attention or anything else. But here they continued to discuss what it was like to meet with Hitler from two weeks ago. In this meeting, President Trump was tearful. He was upbeat. He seemed interested in finding common ground with Democrats on some of the most divisive issues.
And for those asking why we would go speak to the president elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back.
Why wouldn't we? Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump's actions and words in the courseening of public debate. But for nearly 80 million Americans,
election denialism, public trials, and January 6th were not as important as the issues that moved them to send Donald Trump back to the White House with their vote. Joe and I realized it's time to do something different, and that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him.
Now, what you've realized is you're lying and hysteria isn't working. Your lady that was installed didn't become president and you guys want to just keep your chairs. You want to keep your chairs in your boxes with the split screen because otherwise you'd have to go home and talk to each other like normal people, not reading of teleprompters.
like robots, and that's all you are. That's why the machine gives you the chair to sit there. So the only way that you can functionally move forward in your career is to now basically be like, oh, Hitler is not really Hitler. Do we have a Hitler is not really Hitler video we can show?
We did. And then he says that the news network that is most critical of him should be taken off the air. This is not a reach. I could go back and talk about Nazi Germany and I do it without any concerns whatsoever. And if people can't start drawing the parallels, well, you're just stupid or you have your head in the sand or you're one of them.
Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from so many people, from political leaders to regular citizens, deeply dismayed by several of President-elect Trump's cabinet selections. And they are scared. Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the President-elect himself.
All right. So there's no point in me analyzing what they're saying there. The hypocrisy stands for itself, but you get it. It's a game they never believed he was Hitler. And if you did believe he was Hitler, you wouldn't go over to his house to hang out with him and then try to figure common cause with Hitler. And this was the lie that they pushed on everybody forever. The same people who used to beg Donald Trump
for money or campaign donations, the same people like Chuck Schumer who weeks before the election, he's calling him Hitler on one hand and then also going to the Al Smith dinner and laughing at Trump's jokes. This is the game that they're all playing, but these people, their time has run thin. You know, even more than it's not worth it. Genuinely is not worth really
No, it's worth criticizing them. It's not worth analyzing the nonsense, right? Because you guys, especially for you guys, you get their nonsense. But it is worth going, well, who is being duped by these people at this point? And the fortunate part in this election was proof of it.
Is that less than less people are being duped by these corporate hacks over at MSNBC? My friend Megan Kelly had a rather, I would say, succinct analysis of Mika and Joe's position as it pertains to the once Hitler future president.
I searched for a way to respond appropriately and I called on my 10 years as a litigator in addition to my now 20 as a journalist and I think I found the perfect phrase, go fuck yourselves.
Go fuck yourselves, you dishonest, jokes of faux journalists. What an absurd farce that was, Glenn. Which one was insincere? He's Hitler, or now we're going to speak truth to power and find a way of speaking to and working with Donald Trump. Which one was a lie?
that was the f bomb of the day delivered by megan kelly i don't have to do it now uh... but you guys see the point and then and of course the meta point they're really is that this is why the media is collapsing this is why the rise of all media and this and many other shows like megan's are working not because we get everything right now because we don't have blind spots or anything else but because we're at least trying to be true and you don't have you don't have you simply don't have
unbelievable amounts of hypocritical videos that you can put up where I'm saying completely the reverse thing. Not that I didn't evolve politically over the years and then you can track that and it makes sense. But ab two weeks ago, he's Hitler. Now we'd like to sit down with him and see what our points of agreement are. Here's a great compilation of Mika just splooging, just slobbering all over Donald Trump.
Did you go out to sleep last night? Well, yeah, well, I got woken up. Well, you know, Donald wanted me to see the CPAC speech. I was skeptical, but I pulled it up on the internet.
It's pretty good. It's pretty good. Joining us on the phone right now, Donald Trump. Good morning, Donald. Micah, what do you mean, pretty good? You know you loved it. Wow, Trump, you're naughty.
Who would you pay more here, Donald? Just curious. With you, Joe, I'd absolutely pay you more. Oh, my God. I would pay you so much more, Joe. Would pay me to so much boy, your head would spend. Donald, do you have a TV? Are you watching us right now? Yes, I am. I only watch you. Only because of you. Oh, OK. Wow.
Man, Joe Scarborough is such a cook. You know he would sit there and pay as Donald Trump bang the hell out of Mika Brzezinski. He would sit there in the corner of the room. He really would. But that's what these people are. Now, okay, you know, you might be watching this going, but Dave, you know, we've won here. There's so much momentum. Why still are we focusing on these people? And that is a good question that I've been trying to address as we are in this, as I said, purgatory time.
It's interesting about it to me. It's not just how the right is reacting to these people, but now the loony left is starting to eat its own as it pertains to Mika and Joe and the loonies at the view and everything else. And that is interesting because it portends a bizarro future for the Democrat Party. We'll have more on that in just a second, but first let me talk to you about RAM.
Running a business is tough, and how you manage your finances from expenses to vendor payments to accounting can make or break your success. That's why you need a system that works as hard as you do and RAMP could be a game changer. RAMP is a corporate and spend card management software that helps you save time and money. It gives finance terms unmatched control and insight into company spending.
You can issue cards to every employee with set limits, automate expense reporting, and never waste time chasing receipts again. Ramp software collects receipts and categorizes expenses in real time, so you can close your books up to eight times faster. Best of all, Ramp is easy to use. You can issue virtual and physical cards and start making payments in less than 15 minutes, where they have five employees or 5,000.
And right now you can get $250 when you join ramp, just head on over to ramp.com slash Rubin, that's ramp.com slash Rubin, cards issued by Sutton Bank member FDIC, terms and conditions apply. Okay, so what's really interesting about this media thing right now is not that we can criticize them and not exactly that we can show that they're hypocrites and sellouts and hacks and all of those things. I think that that illustrated for years at this point, but something interesting is now brewing on the left because the left is going to have to
And the Democrat Party is going to have to figure out what is the way out of this. You guys just got demolished and isolated. You've lost a huge amount of your institutional power. At the media level, you're about to lose your governmental institutional power. So what do you do? And that fight, I am here for that fight. That fight is Godzilla versus Mothra at the end of the movie where the scientist with one little tear coming down his cheeks says, let them fight.
That's where we're at. So over on the view, Sonny Hostin, who again, with all due respect to my friend Megan Kelly, I believe is the most racist person on television, and Anna Navarro, a woman who lives in Florida yet hates America, here they are criticizing. They're starting to get it. They finally get it. They're criticizing Joe and Mika and calling them fake journalists. Have at it, lefties. Look.
The bottom line is that America needs a free press that is willing to speak truth to power right now, more than ever. And I think that we have to be very clear-eyed when we think about the president-elect and cover the president-elect. And I don't think you need to sit down for 90 minutes
Mar-a-Lago and kiss his ring to be able to speak truth and to be able to cover a story. So maybe they're not journalists in the true sense. Maybe they're saying that they're opinion-general journalists. But we have to remember that Trump is the guy who ushered in the era of fake news.
I think there's a lot of people who are probably looking at what Joe and Mika did and find it opportunistic. There are people who change their stripes or maybe their spots, I should say today, depending on who is in power and what benefits them. I don't know that that's what they are doing. And to me, it's a to be determined situation because right now it's the transition.
We don't know what he's going to do as president. We don't know what they're going to do if he commits abuses of power as president. So, you know, everybody has to live with their decision. Everybody has to look at themselves in the mirror. I'm good.
Yes, I've been saying you people have to look at yourselves in the mirror. I don't think you're quite there, Anna, although the ozempo's epic is working, but that's not really what you should be looking in the mirror for. What you should be looking in the mirror for is that your hypocrisy is off the charts. You think people change their stripes to be opportunistic? That's kind of funny, Anna Navarro, because you used to work
When you are a Republican, a conservative for Marco Rubio, who's now Secretary of State, I assume that you still think that Marco Rubio is a decent guy, so you're probably happy unless you're just a kind of fraud and liar about absolutely everything, which of course you are.
which is why every day you rant and rave about how evil Florida is, and yet you live here and have no intentions of moving, although I would gladly pay for the U-Haul truck, as it pertains to Sonny Hastin boy. It's so interesting, suddenly she's so into a free and fair press that's going to have to speak truth to power, just like they did
when they had Joe Biden on a couple of months ago. Remember that when they all blew him or when they had Kamala on and they all went down on her? I had to do it. It was just a 50-50 joke. You got it. So now suddenly, now suddenly, yes, because you guys did such great jobs as journalists when you sat down with the two of them. Now it's about truth to power. Now let's jump over to something else because I'm showing you the, and I actually just love this.
This is a type of drama. I'm not a big drama guy, but I actually love the sort of intersectional collapse and the way these people are going to eat themselves. It is just delicious and wonderful. Here are Whoopi and Sunny going after another lefty Bill Maher, although he does represent, let's say, whatever is sliver or small sliver is left of the same left. Bill is against identity politics, and Sunny needs racism because it's what gets her off.
and black people can't afford to indulge rich white people's need to endlessly flagellate themselves. They just want prices to go down and good jobs and the police when you call them. Well, if he's right, then why didn't people vote for the former prosecutor who actually had policy plans to help the working class?
I know that as a country, it's very difficult for people to believe that racism and misogyny, they're just alive and well. I think that we don't wanna think that about ourselves, our neighbors, our friends. But it's, my lived experience tells me that it does still exist. Even if your lived experience doesn't tell you that it exists. And the facts support that.
I'm not saying he says that folks see everything through the lens of racism and sexism. Not everything, but if you're not seeing racism and sexism in America, then you need to clean your lenses.
That's all you bitches got and it's running real thin and your ratings are going down to MSNBC is now for sale. We talked about how CNN is absolutely collapsing and about to fire a bunch of those guys. And now even the view, the EP's at the view have announced they're going to bring on real conservative, not not just pet conservatives because nobody wants to listen to this nonsense. Everyone knows those racism and sexism exist.
at some level. Of course, are there actual bigots out there? Of course, most of them happen to be Democrats, but that's not exactly what you mean. Are there real people who don't want women in power? I suppose that there are. But the way the system works, the way that everything is happening in America, you guys are the ones who have institutionalized all of this evil.
You guys are the ones who decided that race should be the thing that gets people into college or gets people a job. You guys are the ones who have hyper-racialized everything so to whatever extent racism, let's say anti-black racism by white people now exists, it's largely because you guys made white people racist by constantly calling them racist and then making it harder for them to get jobs and be qualified for things and everything else. You guys did all of this. No one is listening to this nonsense anymore.
Again, what's interesting about this is not that the women of the view are getting something wrong or that Bill Maher is trying to hold a liberal position amongst a bunch of crazy people or anything else. What's interesting about this is the Democrats now, the Democrat Party, which should be destroyed. In essence, it has been destroyed. There's no leader of the party. There's a president with dementia.
Kamala, where the hell has she been now since she lost? She's disappeared again. They might be pushing us towards World War III as we're given more weapons to Ukraine that can now hit deeper into Russia than ever before. That's as of yesterday. And it's like, well, what will this party be? What will it be? Will it just be the complete unhinged party of neo-racism and war? We'll somehow revert back to something liberal. I don't think so because most of the good lives have now become, in essence, sort of MAGA Republicans, let's say.
But you know what guys, you all deserve this fight and eventually you'll just be alone in a room with that mirror calling yourself racist and it'll be a beautiful end to all of that. But it is not the end of this program. I'm going to talk to you about TWC Health and then we will talk more about what's going on on the left and why these people have gone completely bananas.
The world's on edge, election tensions, economic instability, supply shortages, and new health threats. Waiting for the medical-industrial complex to protect you during a crisis is a huge mistake. That's why I want to tell you guys about the Wellness Company's contagion emergency kit. It's a lifesaver put together by real experts like Dr. Peter McCullough. Inside, you've got medications like Ivermectin, HCQ, Boudesenine, and even a nebulizer.
These are critical medications to treat respiratory illnesses and so much more, especially heading into flu season. Think about it. We've witnessed drugs, shortages, pharmacies turning people away and prescriptions being questioned. Do you really want to risk being told no when you need life-saving meds?
This kit lets you bypass the red tape, no waiting, no begging, you're in control. With just a few clicks, the kit is delivered right to your door. I have my kit, and now you can get yours by heading on over to TWC.health slash Rubin and use code Rubin to save $45. Don't wait until it's too late. Act now. Take control and ensure you're protected against whatever comes next. That's TWC.health slash Rubin and use code Rubin to save $45 plus free shipping right now.
All right. So one of the most interesting things that happened during this election cycle is obviously that RFK not only left the Democrat Party, but supported Trump, never officially said he's a Republican, but now has become just, I would say, right in the center of the center of everything that this new MAGA represents, and that's what make America healthy.
is all about, right? And we're suddenly talking about health in America. And the funny part of this is that so much of what the left defines as themselves is just a reaction to the right that you can sense that many people on the left are going to go all in on being unhealthy. And you already can see this when you look at these
sort of fat, hysterical, purple-haired, crazy Hamas supporters. I'm not the healthiest people. But now the right broadly has health on its side, and it doesn't matter what you think the marginal tax rate is. You should care about your health and the healthier family and your kids and everything else. So on real time with Bill Maher on Friday, Cassie Means was on. I had Cali Means.
her husband on here a couple of weeks ago, but they've written a wonderful book and they've been right in the center of what's going on with our farming and the amount of pesticides in our food and all of this stuff. And she went on Bill Maher to talk about what's been going on with our health system and how RFK now plays into a sort of new, wide-tent thing that the Republicans seem to be doing.
RFK, you and I do have something in common, which is that for a long time we've all been saying, well, the system as it is, the way we do health is already very fucked.
So maybe he'll make it worse, but, like, my head is not exploding about it. It's not an overstatement to say that in my four years of Stanford undergrad, four years of Stanford Medical School, and four and a half years of surgical training, I did not learn a single thing about what is really making Americans sick, the true root causes of the chronic disease epidemic that's devastating in torturing American lives, that things like
the impact of ultra-processed food on our health, the incredible 80,000 synthetic toxins that are our food, water, air, our personal care products. And I think what happened on Election Day this year is that Americans came out and said, we want to bend the curve of the chronic disease epidemic that is destroying American potential. And I think RFK represents someone who's willing to take that off.
But you said so many things there that I feel like I've been saying for many years and people kind of look at you like you're crazy because I think they just are in this world of doctors know everything and I think you're telling us in medical so you learn doctors don't. I always say if they know everything why do you always have to get a second opinion?
only one party in our election cycle this year was talking about chronic illness. The words chronic illness, as far as I know, never came out of the Harris campaign's mouth. And I think that was a real misstep, because Americans are, I think, tired of being gaslit about the fact that there's not a problem right now.
All right, people, tell you what an incredible journalist I am. I don't purport to be a journalist, but sometimes people say David you're a journalist. I don't know. I'm a guy that tells you what I think for a living. I like to fact check. And I have been fact checked in real time right now. I just said a moment ago that Casey and Callie Means are married.
their brother and sister. As far as I know they're not married, complete screw up by me, and I have no problem addressing it, apologizing to both of them. And we don't, and we hear at the Rubin Report, we don't endorse brother, sister, marriage.
Let's leave it at that. The point of all of that, though, is that what Casey illustrated there was, I'm not a crazy Republican, and maybe we don't agree on all of this stuff, but the Trump thing that embraced RFK
It does transcend politics because health transcends politics. So chronic disease and thinking about vaccines and the vaccine schedule and all of these things, it shouldn't have become political, but the Democrats wanted nothing to do with it as we get fat and have all of these endless diseases and all of these
psychological problems and all of the stuff that we all know. The Democrats completely ignored it, Trump decided to embrace it, and now here I am on this side of the aisle. And interestingly, guys, it was not always this way. We're going to jump back now about 20 years to Joe Scarborough when I would argue he was slightly less at least of a sellout than he has become. Here he is interviewing RFK Jr. talking about a potential link between vaccines and autism.
my son born in nineteen ninety one uh... it has a slight form of autism called asperger's but it seems and again when i was practicing law and also was in congress parents would have constantly come to me that bring me videotaped to their children and they're all around the age of my son are you
The generation happened in 1989. Exactly. The generator, what happened was the vaccine schedule was increased. We went up from receiving about 10 vaccines in our generation to these kids receive 24 vaccines.
And they all had this thimerosome of Miss Mercury, and nobody bothered to do an analysis of what the cumulative impact of all that Mercury was doing to kids. As it turns out, we are injecting our children with 400 times the amount of Mercury that FDA or EPA considers safe.
OK, so I don't think for the moment we have to get into a massive vaccine debate or schedule of vaccine debate or anything else. But again, this is mostly, as RFK said there, this is mostly about the schedule, the amount of vaccines we put in and the time, the calendar dates that we have now put all of these vaccines in and then all of these vaccines in and then some of the repercussions thereof. I'm happy to continue having those conversations. We've had many people on to discuss that stuff. I can discuss that with RFK again, of course. But the point is that Joe Scarborough there 20 years ago
It was not particularly controversial for him to ask RFK that stuff or have RFK on, but just think what happened in this election sky in this election cycle. It would have been wildly controversial for him to question vaccines, obviously, or to even have RFK on. As you know, I mentioned it yesterday, Jake Tapper on CNN literally banned
RFK from his show because he said his ideas were so dangerous. So congratulations. Once again, you guys with your endless hysteria, whether it's hysteria around racism or misogyny or vaccines, you pushed all of the good people together and that's exactly where we are right now.
The button on Joe and Mika Scarborough is that they are going to pivot, right? Like they are creatures who survive. You give the devil his due, they will survive and keep their chairs at least for a while. We will see what happens with that. But the other thing that's gonna be interesting here is now watching as the health movement goes mainstream, as it actually becomes cool to be like, you know, maybe these seed oils are doing something weird, or maybe I shouldn't be having all that sugar in the morning.
in my coffee or maybe there is something strange about the amount of high fructose corn syrup we put and everything or all of the stuff as that happens and and everyone starts realizing boy there are ways you can very simply make yourself and your family feel better and you can take some control over your life and your health as that happens the democrats are going to get on board a bit are going to get on board a bit and they're going to do it very quickly check this video out new jersey democrat senator one-time presidential candidate Cory Booker yesterday
Basically, now repeating what have become Republican talking points as it pertains to the health food system. Food in America is making us sick. It's driving the highest levels of disease and suffering in our nation's history. And our food system is putting our farmers in economic crisis, with most American farmers having to work a job off the farm to make ends meet.
Why? Because giant, consolidated multinational food corporations make massive profits off of this broken system. More of us have to be aware of what is happening. Our food system is designed to support and subsidize ultra-processed junk foods and not the foods that our doctors are telling us that we should eat most of. Think about this for a second.
More than 90% of our federal food subsidies go to the foods that can make us sick. And less than 10% go to the foods nutritionists say should be the majority of our diet.
So do you see what happens when good people get involved and start saying the truth and saying what they believe and are informed about these issues? RFK has been screaming about this stuff for years. He then could not get any traction in a deeply, deeply corrupt Democrat party. And then what happened? He then becomes part of the MAGA movement and this new Trump thing that is welcoming all these liberals. But it's not just that.
Then suddenly you have someone like Cory Booker, who I'd say is a fairly mainstream Democrat, and now he's repeating the exact same things. And the reason he's doing it is because now he feels it's safe to do that suddenly he's going, boy, I gotta get reelected.
I like being Senator of Jersey. Maybe I want to run for president again one day. Why are we seeding the ground of healthy human beings and longer, more functional lives? Why are we seeding the ground to the Republicans? So now you're going to see them do it too. So again, it just goes to show if you do the right thing, it's not just, you should do the right thing for the, for the rights, for the purpose of doing the right thing in and of itself. Then you'll get all the people around you to start doing the right thing.
But then even the bad people over here and the people who've been so awful about everything, once they start seeing, oh man, look at all those better people. They're better actually because they're happier and more functional and they look better and they're, all this stuff's going right, then they start behaving better too. So that's what's happening there. Of course, it's not going to happen overnight with everybody. I debated whether to put this in the show. There's this kid on YouTube. He's like some lefty YouTuber. His name's Chris Mallory.
The reason we're showing you this is there's this certain set of young people that think that socialism is cool and that capitalism is the problem with everything. And here he is going on a rant that the chemicals in our food have nothing to do with our health problems. Our health problems are all due to you're not going to believe in capitalism.
The reason chronic disease in the United States is increasing is not because of chemicals in the food. Okay, as Donald Trump takes power and we're all reeling from the fact that this psychopath is going to be in office, some of the most misinformation that we're going to have to fight against together is health related. RFK Jr is an environmental lawyer, not a doctor. Listen to the doctors. You know why chronic disease in the United States is rising? It's because of obesity.
Well, Chris, why is obesity going up? If the government is doing their job on capitalism, everybody has more money than ever in the most complex, well put together society ever on the face of the planet. Look at where I'm sitting. I'm sitting in a vehicle where small explosions in the back will propel me forward to the nearest fucking McDonald's, where I can get a meal that's very, uh, calorically dense and yet low in nutritional value. And I can do it cheaply and in like five minutes. We fix this via
education. I don't know. Eat a diet that consists of more whole foods, for example. Okay. This is absurd and it's extremely dangerous. Okay. Vaccines are safe and effective. The things like autism, like the rates of autism are not rising. We're getting much better at detecting autism, which is a good thing. And you know why we're getting better at detecting it and helping, especially women who go under diagnosed is because of doctors with degrees who are brilliant. Listen to them and not this goddamn psychopath or you're going to get yourself hurt and you're going to get
your children hurt your society hurt okay bro red 40 and aspartame are not causing you to be sick bro you're sick because you're eating fucking Wendy's while ripping zins bro my goodness wow all right so i'm actually not gonna do much on that other than to say yeah look at aspartame
Do a little research for yourself. Don't listen to that kid and don't listen to me. But why do you think that if you put an artificial sweetener in your coffee every day that something might not be great there and then look up Donald Rumsfeld's family connection to Aspartame? I don't know. I would just say Google it for yourself. See if you can find it.
some information there, and that red 40 and these other things that are known poisons or the seed oils that when they heat up become carcinogenic, why does this little YouTube nothing kid? Like, why does he not want you to think about any of that stuff? And just listen, vaccines are safe and effective. I don't know, ask the all of the people, the young men particularly who have myocarditis right now, the people who have other health issues post mRNA vaccines. Like, why don't they want you to think, and they want you to think that capitalism is the problem?
Capitalism's not the problem. Capitalism which allows all sorts of things to be made and that there's always a better mouse trap to be made and right now you can even see it. There will be a shift now from getting fries at McDonald's that right now are made in, I don't know if it's canola oil or what oil they're making the fries in. Can we check what oil they use right now? But it used to be beef towel before 1990 and you can sense that fast food places are going to start moving back to that. There will be more of a trend in that and that is because of
Petalism. That is because of capitalism. It is canola oil. So they're using canola oil and McDonald's fries. I'm being told it's canola oil and McDonald's fries. And look how they make canola oil or watch my episode with Paul Saladin if you want a little bit more on that. But capitalism is the thing that frees you. You then have choice. You can make the choice to eat all of these terrible things or you can make the choice to eat better things. And you'll see a pretty direct connection between that and your health and your longevity. Capitalism is not the problem.
It is what the food system has done and we can start looking at that and then going, oh, there are marginal ways we can fix it. And unfortunately, what these people are afraid of more than anything else is that Donald Trump is bringing in the right people to fix things. And then once they get fixed, that they're going to look even stupider than they look right now, which is fairly stupid. Let's talk about rhombal premium and then more on the failed Democrat machine.
When Rumble first started in 2013, they built the platform for the small creator. They didn't censor or have biases. They were fair and treated all creators equally. No one thought platforms would censor political conversation or censor opinions around COVID, but they did. Facebook admitted they fell to pressure from the Biden and Harris administration. Of course, Rumble did not. They held the line.
They're attacked daily for giving us a voice to talk to you. They're attacked in corporate media. They're attacked by governments like France. They're attacked by brand advertisers who refuse to work with them. Corporate America is fighting to remove free speech while Rumble is fighting to keep it. Rumble won't survive with brand advertisers alone. They don't get much of it. So watching our show is the number one way we can ask for support from you. But if you really believe in this fight and you have the means, one major way you can help Rumble survive is by joining Rumble Premium.
Join the community that believes in the First Amendment and believes in our human right to free speech. Rumble is offering $10 off with promo code RUBIN when you purchase an annual subscription. Go to rumble.com slash premium slash RUBIN and use code RUBIN. Like I said, if you have the means and believe in the cause now is the time to join Rumble Premium. If you don't have the means, we're just happy. If you watch us right here on Rumble.
Okay, so what has happened to the Democrat Party? What is left of a roughly same Democrat Party? Do we even need that anymore? All of these questions will be answered over the next couple of years clearly. But my friend Peter Teal, former COO,
no see no he was the former co-founder of paypal with elan musk and then of course he was the first guy i think you wrote like a two hundred or two hundred fifty thousand dollar check uh... to zuckerberg for face book and obviously is sort of become ubiquitous tech billionaire who is on the more conservative libertarian side of things so he's been a sort of outsider in all the tech lunacy of the last decade or so uh... he went on barry wisest podcast and she asked him about elan's shift to the right
And I thought Peter's answer here, not only was quite good, but it explains why so many people broke towards Trump just in the last two weeks.
you know, he was not never doctrinaire, but for the first 20 years, you know, he was left of center, you know, he was a Tesla was a clean energy electric vehicle company. The Republicans were these people who didn't believe in climate change. And so it was, it was sort of naturally much more comfortable in sort of deep blue, democratic California. And then
At some point, Elon shifted, and it's over-determined why he shifted or why you shifted or some of these other people did. And in shift, Peter. I know. I know. I know everyone else. But everyone feels that way, of course. But I know these things are over-determined, but I keep thinking part of it is just this sort of straight jacket is not what you all signed up for.
Well, this intellectual straight jacket where you're not allowed to have ideas, even if you agree with 80%, it's never enough. You have to be 100%. So that's Peter, as always, explaining things like only he can. And that is the point. Even on should not in a normal system.
Elon Musk should not be teamed up with Donald Trump on the Republican side of things in a normal system. If we were just to rewind 30 years, Donald Trump probably would not be a Republican himself. But you guys went crazy with this ideological rigidity and this insane desire to destroy the country and all of the goodness that this country has given to generations of people. And now you've created the coolest, widest tent, great movement that certainly I've ever seen in my adult life.
Or I would say in my 48 years on planet Earth, Teal continued because it's not just that the Republican side got became wider. It's that the thing that the Democrats represented just became thinner and thinner and thinner and nobody's buying this identity politics BS stuff anymore.
And Trump made an argument. J.D. Vance made an argument. They made a strong case. And I think there was no argument on the Democratic side. It was free of substance, free of ideas. People say that Harris struggled in saying how she was different from Biden, how she was substantively different from Biden. But that's too narrow way of putting it. She had nothing to say of substance on anything.
So, obviously, if you have zero substance, then there's also zero substantive difference with Biden. But I think the last time the identity politics worked for real was probably the 2008 election with Obama. And it worked because in 2008, we're still in a pre-internet world. And a pre-internet world meant you could tell one message to one group of people and a different message to a different group of people.
And so for black voters, Obama could say he was a black person and they should vote for him because he was black like them. And to white voters, Obama could say he was a post racial person and they should vote for him because he was post racial. By the time you get to 2016,
It doesn't actually work. Hillary can't tell women to vote for her because she's a woman and men to vote for her because she's a post-gender person or something like that. The sort of micro-targeting Mark Penn political strategy from the 90s was way past its sell-by-date in 2016.
yeah that's completely right i'm gonna sit down in here with uh... with peter in a couple weeks and will expand on that a bit more but you know if that moment right there that he's talking about this bakery that because of the internet they couldn't get away with anymore man what a perfect uh... example of that is the thing that i kept harping on uh... two days before the election was obama going up there pushing very fine people out of white super mrs rally knowing it was a lot like the right we know he knows it's a lot he's not an idiot so he knows it's a lot but for all of
Barack Obama's years as a politician, he was allowed to do that. He was allowed to lie to these people one way and then lie to these people another way. And that's what's happened here with the Democrats when it came to everything, absolutely everything. We even know that in this campaign itself that the Democrats, the Kamala campaign was doing very targeted messages to the Muslims of Dearborn Michigan about Gaza and then sending very different campaign ads to the Jews of Pennsylvania.
because he didn't stand for anything other than attaining power and the internet is the thing that has ripped the mask off and that is why the mainstream media is collapsing and everything else. You get all that. So now I want to jump over to a celebrity moment here and I was a little conflicted about this one because I love this guy. I really, really love this guy. He's on my short list.
of like the five or six people that I have never interviewed that I would love to interview is William Shatner, of course, from Star Trek and Hollywood legend. And I think the guy's 91 years old. He not only looks amazing for 91, but I mean, he's still sharp as a tack. You'll see it. Even if you disagree with the conclusions he's coming to here, you'll see he's still got a mind, a way better mind than Joe Biden. But anyway, he went on Bill Maher's podcast a couple of days ago, and he was still a little confused as to why the Democrats lost. I am not, I want to be clear to William Shatner.
and his people. I am not showing this video to own William Shatner in any way. I am showing this video to show a little bit into the mind of how so many people got confused about what the real issues here are, and Bill tries to explain it to him, even though they both ended up voting the same way, so that's kind of funny, but take a look, you'll see. I can't, I don't know why.
why the Democrats lost. I don't understand why the Democrats lost. Well, people will be writing books about it for years, many reasons. Part of it was, you know, just Biden should not have stayed on so long. That I understand. But inflation, prices have come down. The economy is good. I mean, I don't know.
why they voted against her, against the party. Oh, well, I certainly could go on and on about that. But basically, you know, people, she was not a great candidate, let's be honest. When she said, when they asked, Why isn't she a great candidate? She combined
several trends have fought here. Black woman. That's not a candidate. Those are, you know, that's identity politics. That's one of the Democrats. Those are elements.
Okay, so look, I'm not doing this tone, William Shatter in any way. Also Connor just mentioned he's 93, not 91. Like, man, if any of us are that sharp at 93, that'll be pretty fantastic. And the guys lived a really extraordinary life and done incredible work. But what he said there, at the end, that she combined several trends of thought,
in essence being black and being a woman and then bill says well that's identity politics that is the part that i think so many people are still confused by so much of what was driving her it was all fabricated was like here's a black woman and that just does not mean anything
anymore. So how did we end up in this weird spot where so many people got confused and were like, it doesn't matter what the policies are. I'm voting for a black woman. How did culture get so screwy? Well, one line that I often quote on this show is that politics is downstream from culture. That was from Andrew Breitbart. Check out this video, Breitbart being interviewed back in 2012, talking about how the shift of Hollywood, which was not always a leftist loony bin,
how Hollywood went from being something sane to now what we know Hollywood is. The town in those days produced movie after movie after movie that was fundamentally affirming about American life, fundamentally affectionate even about American life. How did Hollywood go?
from Republican David Selznick, who produced Gone with the Wind to liberal David Geffen. What happened? Well, two things, the studio system ended, and now the celebrities are in charge.
While the left was never able to take over the White House, while George McGovern was not able to be victorious, Hollywood was taken over by the left and they've never relinquished it. And in fact, I would argue that the right has abdicated its place in Hollywood.
because they were told that you're not wanted here anymore and they never fought for it. So I don't know who I have contempt, more contempt for the left for its totalitarian behavior towards those that disagree with them or the right, the conservative movement for just allowing for it to happen and not to fight back. I desperately want to change the environment and Hollywood. In two or three sentences, how will you know when you've succeeded, Andrew?
When those people who are conservative in my life who are very creative and powerful in that town can behave in the same fashion that the Hollywood Left behaves in, that they can make movies that reflect their value system, that they can make movies that affirm their traditional values. I'm not even a social conservative. I just want those people to be able to make movies that affirm their point of view, and they can.
Isn't that interesting because he's right? It's not just that the lefties went crazy and took over the entire industry. Hollywood was not always radically pro-communism, anti-capitalism and filled with hatred of America and obsessed with identity and chopping kids' genitals off. It wasn't. Hollywood used to make
great things. And then something happened. And it's partly that the leftists were obsessed with putting politics into art. So they took over the business, but then people on the right broadly just kind of seeded the ground. That's his point. So his win, his win is, oh, there will be a basically a parody of these things, that there will be people in Hollywood who will produce things that will be in line with more of their traditional values.
And at the same time, he's saying he's not even a traditional conservative. He's not even a social conservative. That's what he was saying 20, 12 years ago. So it's like, boy, he would be pretty thrilled at what's happening here right now. I think he would also be thrilled to understand and to see that Hollywood as an institution has basically completely collapsed. Everyone's making things in completely new ways and AIs on the horizon and everything else. But the culture finally did
shift. So now let's jump over over the weekend. A guy who knows a little something about Hollywood, Sylvester Stallone, and a guy who made it in the 80s, which I think is exactly the reboot we're about to have. Here he is talking about Trump and there's a little bro hug involved as well.
When I did Rocky, if you remember, the first image was a picture of Jesus. It's a resurrection AC club. I found a church that had been converted to a boxy ring. So the image pans down from Jesus onto Rocky being hit. And at that moment, he was a chosen person, and that's how I began the journey. Something was gonna happen. This man was gonna go through a metamorphosis and change lives, just like President Trump.
We are in the presence of a really mythical character. I love mythology, and this individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I'm in awe. And I'll just say this, and I mean it. When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea
that he was going to change the world. Because without him, you can imagine what the world would look like. Guess what? We got the second George Washington. Congratulations. Ladies, welcome the president of the United States, Donald Trump. Thank you. The men who died who gave that fight to me.
A little bit of a bro hug right there. You know, let's not get too close. We don't do any gay stuff, but you know, you're cool. I'm cool. Look, it's the loan who so gets what storymaking is. You know, the day, I don't know if I said this on Election Day, but on Election Morning, I was doing cardio. I'm in the gym.
And I was like, I need something to get going here. And I watched, I think it was a 19 and a half minute compilation video of all of Rocky's workouts from all of the movies. You know, they do those great compilation things with some of those kick ass songs, obviously, I, the Tiger and the one in Rocky 4, I think is probably the best one.
Uh, but the guy knows how to tell a story and we are now witnessing Donald Trump's story, right? And Donald Trump's story is something like the guy who was the New York city businessman who kind of, you know, whatever he did with women in business and blah, blah, blah. But now has become something beyond a politician and he's not there to be worshiped. You shouldn't worship the guy.
But the guy just stood up to the machine. He did the David vs. Goliath thing, and it's odd to think that David was a billionaire in the story, but he was, and now we have a chance to restore everything. So, of course, as we get things restored, and as we do that hero's journey, that Sylvester Stallone is talking about, the machine is going to throw everything they can at him, and of course, all of the people who defend him. So, here is Blackface comedian Jimmy Kimmel going after Sylvester Stallone.
They had an America first gala at Mar-a-Lago, of course, where Trump got an introduction from none other than the Italian stallion himself. With George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was gonna change the world. Because without him, you can imagine what the world would look like. Guess what? We got the second George Washington. Congratulations! You good? Bye.
I guess those punches Rocky took to the head were real after all. George Washington was the father of our country. Donald Trump is the father of Eric. Big difference there. That was the funny part at the end right there where they laughed.
Actually, Donald Trump is the father of the movement that is going to be the revival of America. And that's what you hate the most, Jimmy Kimmel, blackface Jimmy Kimmel. That's what you hate the most. You did blackface as Oprah. So you did blackface and some, I guess you were mocking trans or.
drag queens or something as Oprah, you're also mocking fat people as you were stepping on the head of your Latina housekeeper. Remember that video? So you live in service to the machine because you know that the machine can just spit you out tomorrow. And some of you guys like whether it's, I don't know who's going to get fired first, you were Colbert, but the system's about to purge a couple of you guys as they also get rid of the MSNBC people. But okay, so they can use their silly
jokes or whatever it is to make fun of the people that are trying to restore America. But the more nefarious thing than their jokes are their plans to control social media because that's what this election was really about. It was not Republican versus Democrat. It was people who woke up versus people who are still asleep. Jen Psaki, government agent who then got a show at MSNBC, she's still upset that we don't have enough controls over social media.
and no accountability for having disinformation spread, right? And as you know well, and I mean, when I got started in Democratic politics, you know, most of it was like local TV ads. That was what it was about, obviously national TV, local print.
Those local TV is held to a higher standard of accountability than social media platforms in terms of having accurate information on their platforms. That is crazy. And so it is, how does it change? How is it, how are people held to account? Laws have to change.
Oh yeah, we better hold you people to account. You people aren't voting the way we want you to vote. You guys think about different things than we want you to think about as Peter Thiel said before, enough of us got sick of that intellectual straight jacket. And that's what Jen Psaki wants to keep you in, which is ironic because she works at a televised mental institution where most of those people should be in straight jackets. Winston Marshall, formerly of Mumford and Sons, who very famously got
Cancelled at the height of cancel culture because he litter. I mean, it's so insane We've become good buddies actually. It's his story is so absolutely insane. He was In the band Mumford and sons he one day tweeted out a link to Andy knows book about Antifa and said this is an interesting read he basically got kicked out of the band and Now is he's not in
He's not really in the music world. He's now doing a similar version of this just from a UK perspective, which is just great. He's a great political thinker and cultural critic, I would say. Ironically, he was at my house a couple weeks ago, the very night that Mumford and Sons was playing at a Kamala Harris rally and endorsed her. There's a little juxtaposition right there. Anyway, he went on Gutfeld a couple days ago and talked about how the UK has become so frozen as it pertains to speech.
But they are quite literally arresting people now over social media posts. A week ago, my lawyer back home called me up and said, two of your tweets are technically illegal. You could be arrested when you return. That's not a joke. They've been clearing out the prisons to put in people now for literally Facebook memes. There's someone in prison right now. They cleared out the prisons, by the way, and actual offenders, criminal violent offenders. One person re-offended the day he left.
There's one guy in prison for a Facebook Marine for three months. There's one woman who's doing two and a half years for a tweet. The free speech is an utter peril. It's a disgrace. It's not just England. It's the whole of Europe. It's unbelievable.
yeah it's unbelievably concerning and it is real right as if as if the uk doesn't have enough problems with the jihadi's on the streets and everything else check out this headline from the daily mal if you want to see what's really going on there agony for mother of team killed in machete attack after learning one of his killers will be released at just six months after just six months due to prison overcrowding under new labor scheme so one of these guys
killed that kid with a machete six months in jail. Elon saw that headline and he wrote two-tier justice in the UK. And we better be freaking aware of this. This is the stuff that we are fighting against right now. This is the stuff that Donald Trump has promised will not come to our shores. And this is why we're going to have to do deportations and we're going to have to be a little less concerned with taxpayer-funded sex changes for people in prison, for illegals in prison and everything else.
But of course, it's not just going to be that they are going to put the wrong people in jail. They will try to destroy good people's businesses until this thing ends, and hopefully we're getting to the end of it. Check out this tweet from endwokeness.
FTC demands internal ex-documents. Biden DOJ sues SpaceX for not hiring refugees for secret rocket technology. Biden DOJ and SEC open investigations against Tesla over a literal glass house. Biden DOJ opens criminal investigations against Tesla over self-driving cars. Federal investigation into Neuralink. EOCC sues Tesla over harassment. Massive media campaign against ex.
massive corporate boycott campaign. The regime is terrified of this man. This is only the beginning. And look, guys, we now know that not only did most of that stuff not work, but the advertisers that we showed you on the show yesterday, the advertisers are now coming back to X because finally they're like, oh, we went all in on the woke thing. We called everybody racist. We pulled our advertising. We tried to destroy you on day one and the beauty of capitalism
counter to what that little YouTube ferret said earlier, the beauty of capitalism is that then the best things rise, the best things rise, the best voices rise, there's more of, there's basically more of everything. It's the end of the Muppet statement, how did Kermit the Frog decide to make a better Broadway show? More chickens, more pigs. You remember? What am I talking about? I think you get the point.
Dave Rubin was on Piers Morgan's show a couple days ago, talking about the opportunity that Joe Biden has right now to pave a beautiful road to the promised land for Donald Trump, whether he'll take it, I don't know, but here's Dave Rubin.
I think we're long past that argument. I would rather focus on what Joe Biden I think did right there and what we now have in a very interesting, you know, two plus months of the remainder of the Biden administration where basically Biden or whatever's left of Biden or whoever's driving Biden no longer has to placate to the completely lunatic progressive fringe anymore.
And Biden actually could take advantage of some of the reordering that we feel throughout the world right now, not just in America, but quite literally across the globe. And he can actually pave the way for a really nice transition into a Trump presidency that I believe is going to reignite the American dream and bring back an 80s style revolution in America. I think we're going to have a burst
throughout the economy. I think it's gonna be cultural. I think we're gonna get new music and new art and new creativity and new businesses on the forefront of AI and all of these things. And Biden doesn't, he has two months now where he could be like, you know what, we're gonna get our five or six American hostages who are somewhere under Gaza back. We can do that. Like he has, there's a real win for Biden to end up with here rather than, oh, you ended up with dementia and then ushered in quite literally the worst candidate.
in American history and placated to the radical left for four years when you were sold to us as old, moderate Joe. So Biden, and again, we don't know if Biden's running the show or it's Jill or whoever, but I think there's a real opportunity for him right now to do the right thing and usher in a really strong four years for Donald Trump.
All right. So I have no idea if Joe Biden's going to do that. As I mentioned at the top of the show, just yesterday, we've now announced that we're giving more longer range rockets to Ukraine for a war they can't win. So is Biden going to go all in on driving us to World War three for the next three months so that Donald Trump has to pick up the possibly the ashes of that?
Maybe. But if there's anything sane left over there for whatever internal fighting's happening with the Democrats, whatever that is, if there's anything sane, it's like Biden, you got a chance, man. You don't have to play, Kate. You could see that Donald Trump's going to do some good things here. And you could be a part of it. And it will make the people who will show up at your library one day a lot happier.
because the library will be something that'll be worth attending rather than, oh, this is the guy who, like, basically broke America in half and then Donald Trump had to pick up all of the pieces. And there's so much innovation on the way, guys. There is a new world on the horizon. It is coming. They're going to kick and scream to try to stop it, but it is coming. And I saw this video. This is going to bring us home today. And I thought, man, this is what the future could be if we're just willing to go there.
All stations verify ready for launch. FTS. FTS dev. Project GO. ABI. GNC. PTK. 10. 9. 8.
Isn't it something guys? The guy who decided to do all that also decided to buy a social media site for $44 billion and stand up to the machine so that he could provide some more free speech for you and I and then thus cause this election to go the way it did so that all of that stuff could happen. Like that's a story, man. That's a hero's journey. And we are on the precipice of a technological revolution like we've never seen before, maybe since the printing press, but I think you could probably argue even
sort of psychologically and philosophically even bigger than that because we will go to other planets. We have no idea what's out there on the horizon on all and the unexplored country and all of that like there is something so amazing happening here and guess what it's going to be all of us that don't care about race and that don't care about skin color and that do care about health and do care about true science proper science. We're going to be the ones that do it and I guess we know who are going to leave
on planet Earth, we're going to leave the bigots and the racists, the progressives, basically, and all of the people who want to play that other game. So maybe that will be the ultimate divide in humanity of all time. That a whole bunch of us that have just moved past our earthly problems that we're willing to understand that we're all a little bit different and we got to work with that to do cool things and we all like freedom, we're going to go on and do awesome things and we'll leave the rest of them with the crumbs. That would actually be just fine.
