Welcome everybody to episode 20, 20, another milestone for the Mac Rose Raw Show. Yes. I am your co-host Josh joined by my best friend on the entire planet, these gains, Darius. And we are going to bring you some feedback, some Q&A. And if anyone wants to join in, we'll see how it goes throughout the night. Yes. But man, I'm with you, man. We were talking a little bit earlier. This has been a week.
It's been nonstop, man. Every month, every day, nonstop. We're just trying to get to the holidays, y'all. We're just trying to get to the holidays. That's the life, you know? You know, we want to go shooting. We got to take care of the kids. We got the work, you know, those jobs just get in the way. You know, you got to get it out of there. Got to get it out of there. Focus on what's important. These conversations with y'all.
So I know what you're going to bring up, so I will go first because mine is less exciting. So we're going to get into the first bit of the show, which is what's new with you and pews. So we talk about, you know, if you shot, you done been shooting, picked up anything. Guys, I think I'm back to you. So.
this week, I picked up a chemo adapter right here, a dead air chemo adapter, and a muzzle brake for my AR. So this is going to be going towards a can that I should be acquiring in the near future. I've got a
New relationship with a company that's new to me called anechoic suppressors. So Excited to work with them and check out their stuff. So be getting a 30 cow can soon to check out on my AR and then put it on the lever action and just kind of Experience can so kind of like we talked about last time is 2025 is gonna be rifles and cans and stuff so
That's, uh, that's what I picked up. I picked this up at Brownells. I did use your code D gains and actually saved me a little bit of money. So I was actually pretty happy that the code actually worked, but thank you. I know, right? It's like a hit or miss. Yeah. Yeah. The codes don't work on everything. They're running a lot of sales right now. So you can stack codes, which is cool. So again, it's at Brownells. Um, but yeah, I, I don't have any quick detach or adapters. I know people.
Um, you know, don't like chemo, but I'm just going to give it a try. I haven't had any experience with it. And I'm not going to let other people's experiences change my decision. I'm going to let me try it. And if it goes bad, then I'll deal with that. Hey, I feel like we are on the same page with things going bad. Yeah.
So good timing. So that's what I picked up this week. As I came in the mail this week, what about you good sir? Has anything come in the mail? Have you bought anything new? So you guys know I got to keep you on your toes always, always changing. I don't know why I do this to myself guys.
I get, before I go into this, I get, I'm supposed to dedicate at least six months to a single piece. And then there's something always in the back of my mind where I'm like, yeah, but what if, or I want to see what that looks like because I haven't seen that anywhere else, only like a few times. So,
Without further ado, I have the P365, A-X-G. Hold on, my daughter just walked in. P320, A-X-G, and she didn't close my door, of course she didn't. No respect, guys, no respect.
So going back to the AXG P320, I think it's going to be interestingly controversial because of the recent events. I think what was it? What are we in? As of November 20th, there was a settlement agreement on a guy who accidentally discharged his P320 and won $11 million settlement.
I don't know what I'm willing to sacrifice on my body for a payout like that.
I don't know where to go from there, guys, but this thing came straight off the press from Monsoon Tactical. Taters on the call here. I think Vinny's on the call. I didn't see if he popped in. Those are the Monsoon team members. They also have some additional guys that you can follow on their Instagram. We can get those names at a later date, but they hit me with the delicious Lucky Sevens.
Titter did the beautiful X-Cerico on there. It travels all the way through with a battle-worn pink look. So what's dope about this is that the more it wears off, the more pink shows through. So, and of course you guys know I love my big old SRO Windows. I do also like the 507 Comp Windows. Before anybody asks, I like those as well. I'm gonna keep the trigger stuck.
I'm gonna keep it like this guys and I would say pray for the best or hope for the best, but I have no clue. I did my due diligence. I checked the serial number with SIG to make sure it was safe. It has all the newer components to make it safe. So I don't know. I just were gonna just weigh it. It is all metal. So it is a little bit of a heavier girl.
I like you guys it's pretty nice I'll just I'll just say the funny joke that everyone's probably thinking go ahead if
If that SIG does go off, you won't know, but there will be signs because there will be a settlement and some vehicles and there will be land. And you'll say, wow, these gains has all this land to shoot on. How do you make that happen? How do you do it? Yeah, it's a testicle. How do you do it? It's worth it. I got my kids already. Do you have a testicle? Yes. That's right. Go ahead.
So I'm very excited to test that out. I've never, well, I own a P320 max edition, which is the full size competition pistol. I think it's five inch or five.
It's pretty big gal. So this one's a little bit lighter. It's not the full polymer lower. Again, it is all metal lower. So I'm hoping that the all metal characteristics will be something very pleasantly appreciated in my hands.
We'll find out tomorrow, because I'm going to go test it tomorrow. Are you really? I am. We'll talk. But yes. We'll talk. We might have to do the use of Wilson, right? You haven't tried a Wilson yet.
I have not shot the Wilson yet that you guys had had chance to choose. I have not shot the Wilson. Um, and some of my stuff is still out getting worked on. Yeah. Well, what about the, uh, we got some new stuff coming down the pipe too, right? Some 48s. The rebirth.
Yeah, we've got some Glock 48 that are being worked on. My MMP was highlighted by Monsieur Tactical this week. So one of my MMPs, he's got the other upper front, another one. But when those come in, I'll talk about it and we'll show it and all that. So that 320 you have, is that a compact X compact? What is it compared to? What's the Glock that it looks like, basically?
So if we're going to dive deep into the P320, this specific model is under the compact umbrella. It is a 3.9 inch barrel. So it falls in the same window as a Glock 19.
The cool part about it is the grip is a little bit longer. So essentially, it's like a Glock 17 grip because it's a 17 plus one. So it's a 18 round capacity. All metal mags, I know you're a metal fan. You're a mad guy. All metal mags and I splurged a little bit on the Taren base plates, as you guys can see, which is a nice touch.
I tried to get pink. I think this is purple. Maybe it's pink, maybe it's fuchsia. And all I say is it matches pretty closely from a distance when you get up on it or the light hits it, it shows purple. So yeah, I have two more of these. So if I get additional mags, we're going to get some testing before I start like investing heavily into this. I mean, I've already invested heavily into it, right? It's ported.
It's got a Harrington Arms recoil spring system. So it's running a two pound lighter recoil spring. That's why I'm able to do this so easily. I can kind of push it out of the battery. As it breaks in, again, there's a little bit of, well, I'm going to share some tiny details on this because a lot of, I don't know if a lot of people are as intricate into the details as I am, but there's not a lot of Jericho on the rails.
Um, which I'm telling you guys, monsoon is really good at not doing that. So that the gun is reliable when it gets back to you. That's just enough estimate to the quality QC of their work. So there's not a lot of share code. So it's actually moving pretty freely.
even with the lighter spring. Generally, people who over spray that cerakote, this will hang up when you do that on a lighter spring. This is the knowledge points for you guys for dudes that have been cerakote work done. If dudes are like heavily coating the underside of the
I probably can't show this on camera, but I'll break this down here. I would still like brand new. Yeah, I was going to say I want to make sure everybody knows it's not a quality issue. I think it's just if you've got people that are doing things in volume, then they're not going to mask it off because it's easy to spray it down and just let the slide wear off the Cerakote. But if you're doing like one off customization, you can request, you can request that your rails get taped off.
or if they're doing it right. And this is what we're talking about. Since we're sharing knowledge, this is what our conversations are about for people that are interested in getting their guns painted or their tools. They want to get a cool paint job on it. As you guys know, Josh.
myself, the squad girls guys don't particularly like black guns. It's just not our style at all. So we always coat them or change them, even if they are black, they get like painted black with maybe some coloring in there somewhere. But what Josh is talking about in the rail system, if you talk to your Sarah coat person, ask them to take that rail system off.
And it just helps when you get your tool back and you're putting it back together and you're starting to run it. It doesn't have to work its way through that CERECO to actually function properly. It helps it helps it be very smooth and running. Hey, shout out to Orly, our guy, Orly, we met at GunCon. Thanks for joining, buddy. We'd like to see you on this as well.
Yeah, that's cool, man. I'm excited to see how that goes. I'm also excited for the pending future lawsuit when, you know, something happens. No, I think that.
When you and I have talked in the past about what is the public perception of things, what is everyone's opinions, we look at the variables, the frequency of it, you look at the numbers, sure, there is a lot of stuff going on with the 320 platform. But, you know, they mentioned certain serial numbers had certain issues, you know, and
that was something you looked into which was smart. The other side of it was how many of those were sold versus how many issues have you found. And that is the other thing is that is the ones that have been reported or publicly found from surveillance camera, right? How many people may have
A negligent discharge or something like that a curve that isn't reporting it, right? Right. You know, so I like to say, you know, I don't want to just completely bury a company or a gun or a product in general, you know, let, let, I mean, someone earlier mentioned that chemo caused to baffle strikes in their can that chemo is a bad attachment point. I know people that have a ton of chemo and have no problem. So I'm not saying it's the person. I think it's just
you know, circumstances are different, you know, a small, you know, similar thing, and I always bring it to the car stuff, because we're car guys. We both have Toyotas, you know, before I got a Toyota, someone, one of my other friends out of town was like, I would never get a Toyota, I had a Toyota 2004 Corolla, whatever it was. You know, the paint's so thin, blah, blah, I'm like, okay.
the paint spent in 2004. Maybe these have changed. Um, statistics show it's the most popular car that we bought. Okay. Maybe that maybe there's a reason why it's good. My family will never buy another Ford, um, because we had a really bad issue with one of our fords. Some people think forwards are great. It's based off your experience and your perspective on what you want to do. Um, and then also who do you trust for advice, um, perspective and influence? You know, um, I mean, you, you single-handedly
Can I didn't convince me but I was considering getting a Honda or Toyota either would have been a great choice and I'm like you know what if it's good enough for him. You know it's good enough for me and just like and like tater said.
One bad limit doesn't mean all the limits are bad. Right. Exactly. I actually, and you want to know what's cool about the two eight communities since we're openly having this discussion. I think our topic of today, and I actually brought this up to Josh's, I wanted to open the floor up to anybody that has any P320 specific
questions, comments, information that they can provide for me because I've been going out there and I've been like trying to gather as much as I can and like just the waterfall of information is so intense when it comes to trying to track information on issues with particular platforms, right? Everybody jumps in on bandwagon. You guys remember back in the day everybody hated Hollison's.
optics. Remember? When we first got him, when we first got to see him, I was rocking a house and optic when everybody was hating on Hollison. And I was like, these are the, these are great. I don't understand what everybody's problem was. Right. And I think at the time before I finally sold it, I think I had probably five or 6,000 rounds through my house and optic when people were saying, Oh, this is breaking and this is breaking and this and this cheap parts this and that, I'm like,
I don't know about you guys but 6,000 rounds to an optic. I know it's not a lot compared to some of these heavy heavy use shooters but in my use case it was it's pretty substantial for a being comfortable and reliable. So I think I think with the P320 platform
What I did or what I tried to do for peace of mind for myself is I reached out to some heavy hitters that I've seen running P320s and competition shooting and not just P320s, right? Because again, it's like we already had a session where we talked about the modularity of the SIG platform.
Just like the 365, the P320 also has the same modular characteristics. So when I'm seeing people online where I was looking through like Instagram, seeing people that were running P320s doing like hashtag P320, hashtag 320, hashtag 320, hashtag SIG and just trying to find people running them.
ton of competition shooters run the P320 platform. So I felt like, you know, I mean, Jerry Mitchell, his daughter runs the P320. She's a SIG sponsor. Yeah. I feel like she wouldn't be running that. Even Matt's Michelle, he's running the P320. Like,
You know, really quick. I want to call a comment. I think it's important to call a gun addict 17 says any of the comments. Okay, I got you covered. He says every car has issues, but so many factors have less problems. Same thing goes hand in hand on a fire ministry. I agree. I think that and earlier hoodlum.
Hoodlem actually mentioned that every time he picks up a 320, a 365, the trigger isn't not something he enjoys. I think two things on those points, right? When we talk about things not going well, I think that a lot of people, and I'll say most people, the vast majority, are always looking at things to fail.
not everyone's looking for success, but that's just unfortunate. That's the majority of human nature. It's just like you want to see dynasties fail. You want to see the hero sometimes get knocked down a peg and have some humility. And I think that that's what some people think is that
You know, the SIG platform, their price point, the way they do marketing. Oh, they had a failure. You can't trust it. It's like, but that's they're dealing with what you reported. You know, I think people have to kind of slow their role when it comes to you saying.
if it fails once, don't trust it. And it's a hoodlums comment about the trigger. That's just personal opinion and perspective. Everybody's got different size hands, there's different identifications of what tastes good when you eat food, what sounds good for music. And I just think that that's one of those things that when people, everybody has an opinion, right? Great.
But just because your opinion is repeated, but others doesn't mean that's gospel. And unfortunately, a lot of people think that their opinion because it's in an echo chamber with others that feel the same way or you can influence others starts to build traction. But just because the 320 has had some public issues and a settlement now,
doesn't mean that you can deviate from it. Now, in my opinion, I've said this before, I think SIG might be either improving the 320 internally to reduce whatever issue of cause X. I don't know what caused that problem. Or they're going to push more than 365 platform because something that did that when it engineered that doesn't have the same geometric problems that maybe the 320 does.
But just like Orley, our guy Orley says, he's talking to top, top competition guys, and saying that the Fox shot lowers some of the best in competition, rock solid, and I never thought that. But those dudes run the heck out of them. And you hear different perspectives. I've heard people that talk about stuff like if a gun is going to handle certain situations, and those people are never going to be in those situations.
I think the common theme that we've seen with the 320 is it's been with law enforcement. And the question has been, did the gun fail or did their gear fail? And I don't know the answer to that. I'm not researching that.
Or it's the gun, the gear, or the training. And I have seen this in the past as well. And again, I can't see any of the comments that people are writing. When Glock was transferred over to law enforcement, there was a lot of MBs when it came to the Glock. And nobody talks about that. You know what I mean? It could be a training issue. Now, I can't confirm. I mean, the settlement was made, right?
The settlements made, I don't know the details of what, behind the situation, I don't know if it was an equipment failure, if it was the failure of the firearm itself. I see, and I know I don't compete, but I do watch a lot of competition shooters, because competition shooters run the crap out of their gun. That is what they do. So if I'm gonna get any feedback, I'm gonna look to the guy who,
You know, seven thousand rounds a month in competition shooting versus the one and if you're a law enforcement, I apologize. I'm not attacking you. I'm just saying the one law enforcement guy that only shoots when he has to qualify.
Yeah, yeah, I that's a fair point. And I think that that also goes with the people that are in an industry that are trying to be of influence. Yeah, seeing people shoot maybe a handful of rounds or don't show their hits, you know, or they only stick to one platform because that's just all they believe in like.
When people don't have variety or perspective of other things, they become jaded. And that's in all aspects of life, you know, and then you start having bias. And then in theory, let's just say you're a block person only. That's all you want. And then if a SIG fails, you're just like, that's right. That's why I only run Glock. Well, that's not why you only run Glock. It's just why you choose to not run a SIG.
Funny because I, my first Glock 43X, my very first one, trigger fellage. It wouldn't be that. I popped it open, I looked at the back and I saw that the actual trigger bar engagement was dragging against the rear of the
the house and you can actually see the polymers being scraped off inside of the 40 decks. This gun didn't even have 200 rounds in it. You know what I did? I said, you know what?
I don't want to send it back because I just don't like sending my gun back, even though they had a full warranty on it. I just didn't want to do it. I was like, all right. Oh, I'm going to get a whole new trigger housing, rear trigger housing and pop it in. Dude, I put a new trigger housing in. No problems. That's the one. In the time of the 43 X, I had trigger. I would break the pot and figure would stick to the rear.
So I think it's just like you said, I just need to pay attention and we'll open up the floor for these guys. We've got some guests with us, so let's get it to Rick straight air. He's joining us first, sir. Are you on the clock?
Uh, saw the condom in Pittsburgh for what, man, it was blistering cold out here. No, no comment. Don't tell my boss. Yeah. So what's good, man? What's good with you? Good man. I'm typing in with you guys. It's been a while, uh, getting off the plane and saw my phone bus for Mac Bose. I think I'll stop in and shout everybody out. Hi, what's up? So say he was going on my brother. Oh, good. I'm good. I'm good. He's coast, you know, of cobis.
I love 80 degree weather, 32 degrees where I get sick. That's how you get sick. So what's the topic tonight, guys?
These gains got the P320, AXG, that is in the compact version. And he just saw the settlement come out yesterday, or well, shown today, but came out yesterday for the person who had a negative discharge of the P320, who was a law enforcement person.
Get a payout by from sick. So my concern is that I love this. It feels great in hand. I'm going to shoot it tomorrow. I fall in love with it. Is it safe to care? Why? So this sentence.
I would say, yes, that is a sample size issue with SIG and look, when something goes viral for negative reasons, it goes viral, right? If you really do a spot check on all the times that you've had an issue with SIG, I would be interested in finding out how many modifications were made to those weapons.
And per capita, how many weapons actually had a malfunction? Because if it was like a mass exodus with malfunctions with the SIG, they would pull the entire platform off the market.
Yeah, those are the things that I read. I mean, those are the things that I read. Again, a lot of the feedback that I look at is I'm looking at people that shoot the P320 platform heavily. And I'm like, thoughts, you know what I mean? You guys are putting high round counts through these things. What's going on? What's under the hood? What's this and that? There's actually a guy that I saw recently that competes
I have to point him out to start following him. He runs his E320 from a panic, and he runs the crap thing. And it's the same version as mine as the AXG. He has in my world, in my world areas, anything that I said in my world, especially in my world, because I deal with mechanics, anything that's mechanical, anything that has moving parts that has failure things at some point was going to break.
I just don't know what the failure points are on the 320 platform with the Glock. I'm familiar with the Glock. But then, at the same time, my pink Glock 19 has
almost 38,000 rounds through it. And it's still rocking the original recoil spring, the original firing pin, the original, everything. And I haven't changed it out. And I was supposed to change that out every 10,000 rounds. So I know the rules of engagement. Is that pink 19 supposed to foul me at some point? Yeah, I don't know when, but it will.
And then look, it's a similar line made, right? So there's only so much QA, I mean quality control that can go into the similar line weapons. When you start getting weapons that are custom, semi-custom, there's more attention to detail to certain parts, right? You have mams versus metal parts, right? So there's going to be some failure points at some point.
Yeah, then say what's your thought? I see you, uh, you're making some faces on certain commentary. You've seen a lot of T3 going off in your neighborhood. So let me go ahead and share something. So we got one, two, three, you got four, five,
Yeah, all the three 20s. Okay, I wouldn't put one in my pants. So I had people talking about, well, it's, you know, it's a sample size. Like, rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick rick
Because I'm at the end of the day, we got to pay the cars and all this. If you're Toyota Thor, Roddy, we'll shoot you nuts up.
There's a difference in what's acceptable safety. See, it does modification since the 320 came out. We know that. Because before it was a 320, it was a 220. And it failed and it came out with a 320. So, yeah, some of this is bad holsters, because people are using old holsters. But some of this, I'd have been in competitions where I've seen out of battery discharges. You didn't see a bunch of stuff, so it's not.
like people give them a pass. If it was Glock, y'all be burning them at the state. And like I said, my story, everybody that came out when, when Ben Stoker did his little drop test, he approved it in 1911, he dropped same, which everybody knew it was burning them at the state. Keep that same fucking energy. Like, just keep getting shot out of here with guns in the holster.
Anybody in those two things about business? No, you don't pay $11 million to go into a settlement against a person that has to pay legal fees. If you should say, trust me, they got enough lawyers to wait you out and let you run out of money. Something similar happened was Remington with that same thing, right? Remington paid out, but it later came out that there was some modification made to that truth about that.
I want to give context really quickly. So I just had AI do a quick search for me. So the case that was just settled was with an army veteran. The gun was holster and discharge when he was ascending downstairs.
This is the second case this year that has had settled. There's a settlement in Georgia with a federal jury with a whole shirt P320 that also discharged when the trigger was not pulled. So my advice, Steve, don't carry one in the chamber. You've been learning that Israeli draw, bro. That is right.
I am I don't have anything against it. Yeah, but realistically right I compare this to a shot by a shot by one person that Shocks Mike everybody right now the movie about that you had jaws the movie. Yeah, it's very unacceptable for this charge that is not intentional. Yeah, but if we
look at how many things are in the wild, right? It's a relatively low number, but that relatively low low number is still unacceptable. Yeah. I mean, when it's the biggest such a major platform, seeing such a major platform is getting more notoriety than some of the smaller platforms that have probably tripled in the amount of engaged, but just don't get the highlights that say gets. I'm going to say this, I ain't never heard of a high point going off that. You know,
All right. Take a bite. You never. High point doesn't have the muscle behind commercials either, right? You know something. You know something says say you're right. You're right. I've never heard of a high point going off intentionally or unintentionally. So that's a very good point.
It doesn't miss the military choice got the manual safety for you know It's good have a manual safety put a manual safety on that thing. Do you be fine manual safety on it on the extra? Put a manual safety on it, bro. I just You know, just don't carry one in the chain because it doesn't have the cutout for it in the back Just take a drill, bro. We got just dribble it out dribble it out I
You drill it out. You definitely get 11 million dollars. Right. That's a very important thing. The favorite head of boys at your house, you start drilling on guns. I don't know, man. It's crazy. But it looks hot. No, I just want to see the gun again. I mean, it's like, well, see, they did their work with that thing. It's simple, but it's hot. That's
That's very good work. That's nice, bro. That's Tater, man. Tater crushes it. Tater, dude. Yeah. I can't wait. I don't wait for this new girl. And they get in the zip post H. Yeah, I saw you. And they need to get that. They need to get that business. Like, I can't do that. I gotta add the order. You know how hard it is to find like a rose gold stock, black, girls, like everybody sold out. Uh, Jay Duck, who was looking for that a long time ago. I was like, one of his bills, he's like, no, it's so hard.
I was going to buy a black one. Like it's better. Why? You could send it out, man. Get it. Have it. I don't like the girl's circle. I feel like that's weird. I don't know. You could get it at that 10 coding, like not the goal, but the pros 10.
So I have a question. We can send you a link. Yeah. We can send you a link of a company we use. You could actually send out barrels and they'll do 10 coding of the different types of colors that you're looking for. Send it to me. I might go ahead and do that. Yeah. So here's an interesting question. Does SIG do away with the 320 platform or do they listen to the customers and make some safer modifications going into the future? Because there are a lot of those gods in the world. My guess is that
If they want to avoid the PR problem, they're going to leave it out there. But they're going to probably look at the SKUs that don't have the same internals. And just like Dee said, his SKU that he has doesn't is apparently not impacted. Just like when you see like a recall on vehicles, you could like.
They tell you to make the same car for like the 67 years. And then they do a recall only the first three years have the problem. OK, so something's different in your manufacturing process. So I think that's what they're going to do. Yeah. But if I was to give them advice and my advice means nothing to them.
I would just pull back and just lean into the 365 and do more with that. They can bring out the 226. So there's another modular company out there that starts with the letter after Y.
and they've been, they're modular just like SIG and their earlier offerings they weren't having accidental discharges but there were some problems with their particular platform and over the years you've seen them made tremendous strides in the upgrades and those are some highly sought-after weapons now and I think SIG just stays the course and listen to the customers and
correct where they need some corrections. It'll be a viable platform because the modularity is the thing in the future now. I think other manufacturers have just hesitant to get on board with modularity, but it's here. Let's head to state.
Yeah, but like, I think Vinny said in the comments, like segment, they're making rolling changes. Like if I look at one of our early, like I, I had the 21st came up and the difference is in the FCU, you can see the changes, but there's not a gen one, gen two, anything else, because they were making these changes as they go through. They already had the voluntary recall, all right. Yeah. Definitely got one of those of us affected by that because it was five years ago.
So that's a good point, Lou, you don't see any different generations. Yeah, because they don't want to admit that there was a problem in the last one.
It's like, you know, Zav came out with this damn V2 and they're like, okay, the V2 has this, they're in the third, but there's different changes. But they got so many of those guns out there, they admit that there's a problem on them. Like, even with them defense contracts, it's going to be, look, they don't want to get in there, let me know. So that's what leading me is that money. That was my other comment, too, right? Now that they have that government contract,
I know this might be getting in the political and I don't we try to stay away from it, or at least in our conversation, try to stay away from it. But I think this isn't more political as it's more so like, all right, now you have a company of this magnitude as this government contracting. It's all, that's a pretty high dollar. So are they worried about consumers like us?
That's a hell of a question. You know what I mean? Like they're not worried about like $11 million is part in the win for this company
But you think about what they've been really pushing them. What have they been really pushing new? Everything's been around a few. All the new stuff has been around the 365, which we know is a different FCU design. Yeah, they're not. They came out with in the new stuff, the reserve stuff, two, two, sixes, all this other stuff. They're pushing, they really, because remember they came out with the 320 custom builder, you build your own, I think they still got it.
You can go there. It was like a new wave and shit, all of that. So yeah, we come up with stuff, but it's really, it's really focusing on the legacy stuff in the 365. Yeah. You can upsize that, make it like a fuse. Everybody wants that and all that. It's just sick. It's a king of skis like Johnson. They, you know, they care about it because he's my market, but yeah, let me a dollars to shut some people up and get to get depressed thinking about the next thing.
Yeah. Think about this. He was at something that came out. You get leaner talking about the T26 reserve. It's strategic, man. It's totally strategic. There's all about the roles in the reserve line now. Yeah. They do that. They do that on purpose. And to me, it's like, you know, it's saying they were like Apple. Show of hands. Who has Apple phones right now? Don't worry.
One that I'm using to like myself and one that I'm using to talk to. So three quarters. Sorry, Lou. I know. I know. Lou messes up the group. Yeah, it's OK. But how many how many things have you heard about Apple, right? You've heard about Apple having issues with their batteries, with their hard drives, with their workforce.
A lot of things going on and the 16 is out and everybody lines up for it like it's the next big thing. I think that SIG is at that level in the industry and they recognize their position. I mean, you'd be stupid not to. And I think if you listen to the consumer, great, but you'd have to listen to a lot of consumers for it to really be making some changes. Show is going to be interesting, bro.
They ain't gonna do this, they don't matter. They don't go shopping. They say they got no shopping.
Hey, I'll be willing to bet, and I'll probably lose, right? I'll be willing to bet they make an interest at a shot show this year. They not, I'm telling you, they doing their own thing. They're not doing shot. They doing that, they doing that sick experience, like they always do. They got so big where they just like, hey, we gonna bring people out. We gonna go and launch our own products on our own show. Yeah. They'll be in Vegas. They won't be a shot. So they might have a small range they like they did before, but yeah.
Yeah, they had like their sick experience, whatever it's called. Yeah, they bring up the new Hampshire. You come to the new Hampshire, you go through all the stuff, see all the new stuff, and you get the, you get the conversations. They're pointing that way. They, they, they don't care. It's fine. It's nice. I think what I'll, I'll rock this. Don't care, brother. Please don't carry it. I'm going to rock a configuration that's safe to carry. That means if I do the chamber,
that racking less role. But I am going to try to put some some round counts to do this just to see what it can do, how it performs, if I have any problems with it. I'm going to beat on it. I apologize. Is taters on the call month soon on the call? I apologize. I'm going to beat
thing because I want it to fail I want it to fail and then because I want to make sure just like people were complaining about the few oh my god the barrel I can't get the bullets so low properly I keep getting failures we have no problem
We took it to the moon. I'm still gonna tell you, I think there's no comments on my video about about the fuse saying, why would you buy a gun known to fail? Well, first of all, it's a new gun. And if you watch the whole video, you idiot, you would see that we knew about the failures, but we bought it anyway, because we know if you can fix it, it's a great gun.
I haven't had any problem with it, man. I'm now at 1,200 rounds, which is not a lot in it because I put all my time into the math bros. But even the macro has 3,200 rounds, no failures, no objection problems. 32 numbers, bro. I know I'll be one of the best. I'll be one of the best that Taylor and Vinny want to see how much stress you can put on that weapon. Yeah.
I can't see because I can't see that anymore. I can't see anybody who's in the call, but if they're on the call I rummaged through all of their stuff and I only saw I think it was
Now that we don't build guns, it's been pretty fun. That's very concerning because they have a lot of everything else. I always talk to you with those. I was like, all right, sure, let's do it. Let's do it.
But I just, I just, I just, just please, bro. Don't, don't carry one to change, but that's all I ask you. Yeah. We want land so we can have our own range. It's gonna be the land he burned and don't be the wrong thing. That's fine. My man going like that. I want kids already. I take one for the team. Right. Every day when I go to range day, and I'm going to take one for the team. You got to remember, your entrance went on your entrance out.
It's really low. That's all I'm going to say. I am going to run it though. And the worst part about this conversation is that it really, that AXG feels really good in the hand.
It's painful. It's a good grip. It feels nice. I like the SXG. I was looking at that and I'm like, that looks like fire. Yeah. It's heavy, like really made well. Yeah. I'm like, all of that. It's great. But, bro, I wouldn't cut it. I'm like, bro, it's like the hot girl that you know has a problem with your man. Yeah, like, you know,
like he's gonna go to the range with her and don't do any footage because he wasn't holding the body to see him. And this coming from a day to day carry a 2011 where we know that if I fall, if I trip it'll go off in my pants going to the internet.
It is nice though. It is nice to and I want to see what the characteristic properties with the the lucky severance on there is and it being an all-metal frame pistol I think that's pretty cool for it for the striker fire family and it's it's a rather relatively Think about pick up one of those ex g legions 365 so gutwatch. Oh, yeah
But she's been trying to I've shot it. I like it. She's been wanting to get one. I'm like 65. Nice. I'm going to pick one up. No. Which one? That again? It's the 365 Legion, the great one. Yes. Yes. They come out with the 365 Legion fuse. No.
That, that thing is nice. Like when I put that, he's upper on the Legion lowers ball. What I'm playing on doing is taking the Legion lower, putting a regular one on top because I don't like that seeing we are comping and throwing the, throwing the regular front, regular top on there to XL top with the radiant on it and didn't like the radiant crystal. So a radiant with a, with a Legion lower.
Yeah, I support that. Interesting combo. I support that because that the only thing I got to say is that that macro upper that that fake comp is not that's not it, man. Everybody now knows that the one the guns that say comp in the name have the barrel and the slide cut out, not just a shorter barrel.
Shorty's just like right there. It's a little all it is and in my opinion It seemed like the engineers like we got all these 365 barrels What we're gonna do all these no one wants to carry this small good all right put them in the slide But make the slide a little bit longer and then just put some vents in it, you know, we'll sell it for $600. Yeah, like that No, no and everybody bought them, you know This guy's got no it. Oh my god, who jakes me with the East Coast weather man
I haven't seen snow going so long and I haven't either It's been a while man when I was about to take a 2-2-6 x 5 lead Please I was about to bother the day. She was like, we don't need that and I was like, okay I will tell you guys I had a chance to shoot. She's not watching but one of our new friends Rachel. She had a P226 SAO and I was like
I Would shoot that and you know me. I don't you know, I don't got the 20 11 and amber, but I was like that I would rock because That's single action to me. We're tight. I can rock a rock. I like the I like the Z one, but it's got a threaded burrow now. I got a thing. I don't like to write a burrow. So I'm like, yeah, I don't even know What's the thing with the red about you ever see a dog when you get excited
A little lipstick. He just like lipstick on his guns. People are like, you can't get suppressors. I'm like, well, I got, we got suppressors. Why don't they belong to the pistol? Because if I'm using the pistol, it's already in front of me. If you took a threaded barrel and just painted it in red.
I do have to throw the barrel on this one and look at it. That's stupid. I have to walk those with threaded barrels and I can't unsee that. It's just hell. It was like, you just wait for the gun to start helping. You're like, what are you doing? Well, that's how they like that. Like that. Like I said, I'm excited to see your journey with that because I think
You know, I will say you all have convinced me to get some stuff for it. So yeah, it's the truth, dude. But it's really the truth. And with your with your style of gun choices, two ports will only just make it. I'm gonna start with the same because I know because I'm because it's the only time I'm better shoot a black. So I might as well enjoy it. What does the upper look like? Is it doesn't need the window cut? No.
It's got, it does need to work, but it has like the shape at the top. Hold on, I will get it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, I've been interested in this. I've been interested in this, bro. That's been catching my attention for a little bit. Yeah.
Now when they drop that all metal Zeph frame. So if you look at the top, we've got the perfect window. Oh, yeah. Cut out right there, right? Yeah, yeah. So I don't know. That's like, it's like, it's like separated cardboard. Just bottom it out.
dang, that's nice. So yeah, this is going to get a little lower. It looks like an Icarus. So is the Icarus. Okay, I was the fire anodized Icarus load. That looks nice. And it's metal. And it's all lumen on my own. Some kind of pop metal. But the only issue is it's got the temple barrel. So I need to get a new barrel.
Yeah. That's important. No. I don't know. No, the way where the dimples are, it's going to be a problem. You're not going to enough spacing. What they'll do is they'll give me a gun to snap for it and a gun to support it. I just thought, since it's a Glock, I just throw the fucking barrel in. Oh, that's true.
I'm like, at this point, I'm like, in for opinion, vote that. Are you, are you a snob with barrels? Cause if you're not, I'll tell you, get an AIM surplus for like 35, 40 bucks. And then port it. I've got, I don't have them with you, but I've got glocks with those barrels. And then I've had Vinny port them and they, I don't know, maybe I'll go and do that, but I'm under dog. Nobody can find a Zev MBK, bro. I look for seven years. I just buy one.
Just everybody can't find one. They won't say one and talk to them and get a contact. They're like five of them. They sold out and they ain't going to be normal because they make it weird as suitcase guns. But yeah, this is I'll go ahead and I'll check in and circle something about me a cheap barrel for it. Yeah, and it comes in that color too. You can get it in that color too. I have ever shot that pistol.
I'm interested in getting my hands on one as well. I don't think I'll come down now. I will bring this thing. Yeah, shoot all your life. Don't bring it. If it's not important, don't even bring it. Just leave it at home. You better get it. Get on.
Uh, list. Look, we're trying. I'm cheap. I'm trying to wait for Black Friday for a bill. There you go. You just have to see more days. All right. You just show seven, six. What are you talking about? Sound one of the six for the 40. You can't sell them. I don't don't buy one of mine. People in the nuts. It's gonna be cheap. Like all these things going for four and a half.
Yeah. Blue, would you ever shoot open class because of the ports? Yeah. I shot open with the next season for years. Yeah. Is it difficult to shoot? No. So I will tell you, you are in a disadvantage because you shoot minor and all that, but.
at the point where you're coming into it, you just kind of have fun. In the middle, don't change. Yeah, you're going to be, yeah, you're just going to take you along with the class, all this other stuff. But at the end of the day, like, you're having fun. I like this. Would you shoot anyway? Would you carry anyway? Yeah. Why change? Why do I go with something that you don't carry? You don't shoot normally because competition
It enhances some stuff and it teaches some other stuff. But if you shoot pointed guns all the time, shoot what you shoot, bro. Like don't worry about it. Like USPSA classifying shit and all that. At the end of the day, it's more about the skill build. It's more about the fun of the game. It's more about challenging yourself. Anyway, that's what it's about. You fucking grandmaster, whatever. No.
So you raise your way by like a race gun, by a race gun, but till then, fuck it. Enjoy it. Just for my frame. I went in with it, bro. That's a very good point. Look, I wanted to get in and just get more movement with the French weapon that I carry. And I wanted to speak to that so much. When I got into USPSA, I took my words off just so I could stay and carry out this. And the whole challenge, even for me, is
The competition thing is one side of it, but it's remembering your shot selection, remembering the stage, and being able to execute that on the clock. Competition is not for everybody, but man, it's like golf but for men. Underdog, I got you all sent you a zib discount code.
Yeah, we'll tell them about it. Josh and I definitely decided that we're going to try to get into a competition if our life is out. Look, and in total, the first competition, y'all shoot. Let me know. I will come down and I'll squad up with you. They're going to be hooked.
We got a couple of people that want us to do the EEC one. Yeah, there's a Florida concealed carry league. They do that on Sundays. I don't know when it is, but once a month, it concealed carry only. A few people have said it's like entry level in the competition because so many targets you can shoot with concealed carry. It's all open, basically.
Josh, that's getting popular and it's spreading outside of Florida. There's some issues down here in my district with USPSA with like the board of directors. So it's just now starting to get back where they're competing because in my area, they moved out of the USPSA. I guess my way of boycotts and winning the hit factor.
And this concealed carry thing from Florida, you're starting to spread, you're starting to see there's some parts of Alabama, some parts of Mississippi. There's eventually going to make its way to Louisiana. So it's more popular than a lot of people probably make. Like they got, what is it? They go bug guns, whatever the backup guns, but you got to shoot like a micro.
I've seen people run fuses from appendix in competition. I've seen it run 365's maxed out with all of a sudden, it's just run. If you like, I see them do show up, you think they just watch and next thing you know, they put their glasses down. They go with smoking stage. You're like, God damn.
Just paying the hands. You're like, it's fine. But definitely shoot, bro. You're used to coming from appendix. Shoot what you want. Trying to finish that 34. It's not what you normally do. So why do that? Yeah. That's it. 34 is fun, but that thing is wild.
That's what happened to me when I had the MP5 that I was telling Dee I just felt like I was pulling like a Joker gun from my appendix I was like oh it was too much I mean but again I've said it with other people's podcast I'm 5'7 so like a bigger gun is not gonna work for me anyway
And then put it in appendix and I told us the gambit and he gave me a hard time about it But almost every one of my guns the requirement is I have to be able to carry it. It's just that's just for me So I'm not gonna get anything bigger than four and a half inch right now I mean, I carry everything I shoot even XC. He's an exo. It's all man. It's all man. Also, I got a gun so that I had a lot of stuff. Hey, just go get
Call it a day. That's tactical fluff, man. I just say competition is the best way to get some fun on the range. It'll challenge yourself. People overthink it. They're like, well, I need this kid and I need that. I'm going to a class Saturday. We're having groceries from Matt Listing and taking a bunch of friends of mine. I'm like, oh, let's be like, yeah, I'm going with you. Come on, let's go.
And it's like 800 rounds we spend all day running and gunning and all sort of stuff. And then we want you to match on Sunday. So it's going to be literally that skill building didn't execution. Yeah, but.
It's just about going out and having fun. And you got to be all of this. Like people in your SPF take this shit way too seriously. Like they do. They do. Like, yo, I live this life. I'm like, it's like, it's like dance moms and shit. They're going all over the country and get awesome and whatever, whatever. Just go out, shoot, have some fun, you know, go out for a steak, go for a nice dinner after, you know, figure out a weekend where you got a bunch of kid activities, do something for yourself.
Definitely going to do that. I know Josh and I have been, we've been, we've been looking at it for a long time and a ton of people have been really motivating us, which is cool. You know, in the two eight community, a ton of people have been motivating us to go in that route. I know that I've told you guys enough, like my weekends are gone.
Because you you and flow it. I guarantee that is doing the week matches. Oh, there's somebody matches in local range somewhere that you can go jump in for sure. Yeah. Oh, yeah. There's matchings, man. But when I tell you like, I am with the kids.
look it's no shame november you need to do something with your life you know whatever november so you need to get some kind of stress out just tell me and do some stuff i'm gonna have to let the kids watch though you know what to do a competition they need to do it in the middle of the day like i'm gonna let you write the businessman class so we have um NRA right the NRA headquarters in Virginia they do matches starting at 12 o'clock and they're
That would get you a slide from like 12 to one. And that's your slide. You go run your, you go run the next door to one. That's great. Let's try. I'm telling you, that would be, that would be a pretty fun competition. It's like, this is business man only. You got to clock in, clock out. You got you showing up when they're working tight. They're working tight. They told their tie back. The cleats on, but he's got all business up top.
He's got the tactical mullet is business up top party party at the silomas in the way. He's like, let's go get back to work. And he's got all these pit stains and he's like, what happened? I just had to work out real quick. I mean, I used to do that one of my jobs. I'd work out and then have lunch later on during the day. But they're like, Oh, I guess he works out really. I was actually just shooting for out.
I'll prepare for my next meeting. We're not trying to be a statistic, dude. That's right. That's right. But no, no, it's really just, we don't carry that gun.
Yeah, we'll wrap it up with that. I really love the feedback from everybody. I am going to run the gun, so I'll make some video content on that 320 running tomorrow.
I don't want to put in the chamber now. If I do hear it right now, we're kind of on the fuse. I love that damn 365 monsoon build. I love that thing. So I'm still sold on that for now. But I definitely want to see what this P320 is like. Anything to hurt.
I got one last thing to close us out. If anybody plays Call of Duty Black Ops 6, hit me in my DMs. Actually, I'm a post in the story.
J. W's character. If when he really tells you he's about the EDC life, even his freaking game character is concealed carrying or he's open carrying. It's exposed. It's exposed. The appendix, how I rock it at the range in between, in between sessions. So his character in the game and who he is in real life match. All right, six Charles, I'm going to end you on the PSN because, uh,
That's what we need. Instead of a live, we need a game night. Like a COVID like, well, we just run like just, like, let the kids go to sleep. There you go. Just shout guys, shout guys in my shed. That's all I'm saying. I'm in. I'm in. Hey, this was a good show. I really appreciate it. We'll mark this down.
point in the discussion where we just kind of like, we are. We'll come back and some later brothers and we'll do an update on this thing.
All right, so that was episode 20 of the macros raw show. Thank you for joining us again. Follow us on the firing radio network. Follow us on YouTube, follow us on Instagram, all those places. D, I really enjoyed today's topic. I'm excited to shoot some more with you soon. And let's make a promise to have do some new things in 2025 where it's competition or rifles or cans or whatever. But I think the last thing that I'll close out with is
Be open minded everybody. Don't let public opinion sway how you feel. Do your own research. Try stuff just because someone says it's not good. Doesn't mean it's not going to work for you.
Try things out, be open-minded. That's how things work out in life. If you're going to be closed off, then you're not going to be able to try things and enjoy things in life. And reach out. And use the resources around you too. If you search and you find somebody that's
uses a certain product that you kind of been eyeing or looking at. We got to them ping them. We Josh, myself, I get pinged all the time. I ping other people. I've pinged Vinnie on stuff. I've pinged Knockout Lights. I know, I don't know if you guys know who that is. Knockout Lights on stuff. Joe Ferrell on stuff. I pinged Hunter Constantine on things.
like if they're if that's their will house or their specialty, then I'm going to message the people that I see use that product day in and day out to get the real world feedback. So don't be scared to reach out to these guys. They might not message immediately, but give them a couple of days if they don't write backs in another message, eventually they'll reach out to you. I'll say that it's surprising just to realize that
the, I guess we'll call it, the real ones in a two-way community are accessible. The ones that are, that you think have hundreds of thousands of subscribers and followers, they're still accessible. They started out just like we did with 2,000 and 3,000 followers and just kept growing a following. But they are still are true to who they are, which is being connected with the community. So I love that. I love that. They'll reach out to us and connect with us.
Thank you, Dean. This was a good one, man. I needed this after the week we've had. This was very therapeutic. So I appreciate that. Yeah, man. Thank you for engaging in the topics and bringing in people and sharing your. So I will allow, we'll have to get this in your hands, get your feedback on it, not just in your hands.
