Hi, my honey. You're welcome back to another episode of the Healing Honey's podcast with me, your host, Louise Rumble. And we are in that weird time of year that is between Christmas, between New Year, if you are listening to this, just as the episode comes out, most of us will probably be horizontal on the sofa, just as I am recording this for you right now. But
It is never too early to start thinking about the year ahead and what is to come. And I know that lots of us often feel a pressure, a really intense pressure to overhaul everything the moment that the clock strikes 12 and the new year comes around. And I am not really into that pressure. I am more into building a lifestyle throughout the year that doesn't really change too much season from season. And what I find is
that really then I get to Christmas and I take a little bit of a break, not much, you know I'm working on my work-allism. And then when January comes back around, it's just time to get started all over again. So having done so much therapy over the last half decade, so many treatments, trying everything,
I've really got to a place where my lifestyle supports the things that I need and want and gives me the mind and the body and the soul and the belief system that I want. So I just wanted to share that it really is possible to over time incrementally add things
change things, work on limiting beliefs, add things in here and there that build a lifestyle that really work for you and one that helps you glow from the inside out. And I know it can be very overwhelming for people to think, Oh my God, it's a new year. I have to have all these resolutions and goals and they have to be broken down 12 months.
into quarters, into months, into weeks and I need to be time blocking my calendar and buying new products and doing this. It's very overwhelming and that can send our nervous system into shutdown. And actually something that I believe in is that really the actual strategic doing in life is only part of the thing that leads to a transformation, to a glow up.
Because it's really about the foundations of our beliefs and our belief system in our self that determines what goes on, not only inside of our body and how our body functions and our thoughts and our actions and our behaviors and our responses, but also outside of us, the things that we think we are worthy of, the people that we attract, the way we allow people to treat us, the boundaries that we set or do not set.
the ways that we feel about ourselves. That for me is what I call the energetic foundation of life. And the moment that I started working on that was really when I started to see a glow up inside of me internally.
and a glow up externally. So if you're feeling overwhelmed and you don't know where to start, I would always say starting on that mindset rather than setting intense goals that can be really, really stressful. So I'm just here to send you a little bit of love and to let you know it's okay to take it easy and not to overhaul your entire life in January. I think it's
More about just allowing ourselves to continue and building a rhythm that works for us, works for our mind, works for our body, our soul, our relationships. And that generally is a positive one, is a supportive one, is a golden one. I'm really excited about this concept of the golden girl, which is going to be a big focus of my work next year.
because it's really not about Pinterest vision boards and goals and conscious mind affirmations. For me, I think the breakthroughs happen when we go deeper. And that's what I'm going to be working on this year. So if you want to come and join me on my golden girl 2025 game plan masterclass, that's happening on the 5th of January. You get lifetime access to the recording. It's going to be live 90 minutes.
Maybe even two hours. It's going to be chunky. I give you guys so much information. People always say to me, I got this much information in an eight week course and you gave it to me in 90 minutes. How did you do this? So I know that you would be disappointed. And you also will get your reclaim your globe PDF.
It's literally a holistic lifestyle manual that gives you actionable steps on morning routine, evening routine, movement, fitness, gut health, skin health, optimal health, sleep, you name it, clean beauty, clean products, it is all in there. So if you want to come and join me and you're listening to this in December, we are still on early bird pricing.
And if not, and you are listening in early January, we've got just a couple of days to go because we do the workshop on the fifth. So head over to the show notes to come and get your ticket. This is the only time I will be doing this masterclass live. Now, let's get into the episode. So today we are going to be talking about 2025 healing trends, the game changes, the glow up tips. And these are from search trends from this year. So this shows us what people are actually interested in.
what people are actually searching for. And this basically gives us an indication as to what is more or most likely to be trending next year. Now, you guys probably know that before I did this podcast, before I started my somatic healing business daily devotion, I was a wellness expert. I was a brand expert. I worked with brands to
position them in the forefront of the wellness industry. So this is my jam. This is my shit. I'm also an integrative health practitioner. So I'm going to talk you through what is going on behind these trends and whether they are trends you should or need to be hopping on or not. And this is something I've been doing a lot of recently with my newsletter, Hot and Healing, where I bring to you every week what is Hot and Healing in the holistic wellness world.
So I've really been loving doing this, I'm excited to jump in and we're gonna jump in straight away with vaginal probiotics. We are going in at the deep end, straight to the Vijayjay. Something that we should never have shame or fear or judgment of talking about and as you know, I used to have a chronic pain disorder for like literally 15 years and I have had so much pelvic pain
That I've seen the looks on people's faces when I say, oh yeah, I get pelvic pain or like, oh yeah, I used to have pain in my vagina. You see people clench up or you see people be like, oh, they don't really know what to say. But for me, it's like nothing anyone could ever say about their vagina would scare me or freak me out or make me feel any kind of way. So I'm your gal to talk about vaginal probiotics. And I think we need to really understand why someone
might want to take a vaginal probiotic or why people are searching for these because this trend was up 355% in 2024. So let's get into it. We've spoken previously about gut health, right? And you'll have heard about gut health probiotics and how helpful they can be for
balancing our gut, the good and bad bacteria so they can coexist harmoniously and how a balanced gut basically impacts our mood, our neurotransmitters, the inflammation in our body, our digestion and so much more. And we've spoken as well about how the gut impacts the brain because there's the gut brain access and they communicate via the vagus nerve.
So if the gut is inflamed or imbalanced, then it basically sends distress signals to the brain, triggering anxiety and inflammation in the brain. That's known as neuroinflammation. Basically, everything is interconnected. But did you know that the gut and the vagina are connected to? You probably didn't. I did because I have a friend who has suffered with the worst thrush
quite literally for five years, it has been so debilitating for her and I've really been helping her on this journey and a huge amount of that has been helping her to understand this connection as well. So basically what is going on here is that the gut and the vagina, they have microbiome in each of them and they share immune pathways. How freaking cool is that?
So basically, if the gut bacteria is imbalanced, this can impact vaginal health and the vaginal microbiome too. So it can lead to there also being dysbiosis and there being imbalances in the good and the bad bacteria. And obviously, if things aren't working properly,
They're not balanced in the way that they are meant to. I always say it's like a weak spot. It's going to make things more prone or more likely to basically be imbalanced or allow pathogens in, more likely to have something like Thrush or BV, which honestly I've never had before, so it's not something that I have first-hand had, but I used to have a lot of Thrush when I was younger. Makes total sense because I was having a lot of health issues and my gut was all over the place.
But understanding this connection is so important, particularly if you are someone that's like, this is so unfair, like I don't want to have to deal with this all of the time. And I just think that this is so interesting. So we all know like, yeah, too much sugar and processed foods, like they can make thrush worse because basically the sugar in them when they're broken down can feed the bacteria or the yeast.
But I think the thing that is not being spoken about enough is how leaky gut, so gut dysbiosis, can lead to systemic inflammation in the body and it can actually allow inflammatory compounds to basically circulate around the body and also disrupt the the giant or microbiota balance. So that is so interesting.
And I just think it's cool that people are starting to understand this connection and they're starting to understand, hey, there are things that I can do here to make my post post a happy place. So I thought that was so interesting that vaginal probiotics was out by 355% in search.
So there's definitely some brands that are already stepping into this space that I think we might see more of next year. So there's a brand called Day, D-A-Y-E, and they basically can do a microbiome screening to give you a snapshot of basically what is going on, which is so cool. If you're having issues, that's definitely an awesome option. You just do it at home. It's like you put a tampon in and you take the tampon out and you send it back to them.
How epic is that? And they also do a microbiome and an STI and an HPV screen, which is so cool. So they basically will check for the high-risk HPV strains, which as we all know can lead to cervical cancer, as well as some other STIs as well, like chlamydia, gonorrhea, urea plasma, I think is how you pronounce it. And trichomoniasis, don't come for me with that pronunciation. So that's super cool if that's something that you might wanna do.
And another brand that I've been watching is one that has been launched by Lo Bosworth. Now she was on the hills, she was Elsie, Lauren Comrade's best friend, and she now owns a company called Love Wellness, and they do all kinds of stuff, but they have a big focus on vaginal health.
Also, I always want to say vaginal health, but I think it's vaginal health. And they do their good girl probiotics. They do the killer, which is boric acid suppositories. And they basically focus on gut health, vaginal health, and hormonal health. And it's really cool that they basically are way ahead on this connection. So that is a cool brand that you can check out. And there's another brand called Juno Bio who can do this at home test as well for the microbiome.
So I think that's cool and I think we're going to see more brands stepping into more of the bespoke supplement space. I, you'll realize that like, oh, I don't need to take all of these 17 different strains of bacteria. I'm just low in this one and this one. So I'm going to do this because I just think that's where we're going to see things going. But for now, as long as your supplements are high quality and you know where they are coming from, then it can be a good start. But remember,
Bandating supplements is not the solution. I think we're going to see that going out in 2025. So interestingly, this concept of probiotics is also the second search trend that I've identified as being up, up, up on the increase in 2025.
and it's actually post-biotics. Now, vaginal probiotics were up 355%, but post-biotics, which you might be like, what the fuck is that, was up and 11%, so three times more searches than for vaginal probiotics. And this, for me, is really interesting because I think we've seen probiotics kind of explode over the last year, the last few years, and rightly so.
There is so much power in a probiotic. Gut health is at the root cause of everything. Your skin, your glow, your disease, your autoimmune, like it is so, so important. Oh, and not to mention mental health. Absolutely crazy how important the gut is to general health. But this concept of postbiotics, like you wouldn't be punished for not knowing what it is because it's confusing.
and as an integrative health practitioner, I'm going to tell you what is going on. So you've got prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics. Now probiotics are the ones that most people talk about, but let's take it one, two, three. So prebiotics, these are basically like food,
for the good bacteria in your gut. So they're found in fiber rich foods and they feed the good guys, okay? Fiber is another thing that I think we're gonna see trending in 2025 and beyond. So fiber rich foods are so important and it's because of this amongst other things. So focus on increasing fiber in your diet in 2025. If you wanna be not only looking after yourself, but also on trend for the 2025 glow up,
You've probably heard me speak a lot about how a protein fat fiber breakfast is crucial, and you can add this fiber to your diet more generally outside of breakfast with leafy greens, spinach, kale, broccoli, carrots, sweet potatoes, legumes, and also things like oats and quinoa, and also fruits, berries, apples, the skin is perfect, pears, again, the skin,
and I am the biggest fan of a fruit bowl it's like a huge part of my life is a bowl of fruit with some protein and some almond butter that for me is the dream protein fat fiber breakfast and with my eggs in the morning I will always have a salad so random but I will have spinach I will have tomatoes and I will put some olive oil or balsamic vinegar on it as well and that seems to work for me I've definitely noticed a lot less inflammation in my body I've lost weight easier I'm less hungry I have less sugar cravings
And she are putting as well. Great option. And for me, I love selling the day with this fiber to stabilize your blood sugar and just set the tone for the day. But really, you can eat it at any point. So that is the fiber. It feeds the good bacteria in our gut. Then you've got the probiotics. This is the one that everyone talks about. So this is basically the live bacteria.
that support our gut health. And we need to have that good bacteria balanced with the bad bacteria. And this is the natural things like the supplements, but also the kimchi, the sauerkraut, the fermented foods, stuff like that. Now, post-biotics. This is where it gets a little bit more confusing. I guess not confusing, but just we're not really aware of it. No one has ever taught us about this. So post-biotics are the compounds that are produced
when the prebiotics and mainly the probiotics have done their work. So think of postbiotics as like the final product, the wrapped Christmas present and they are things like short-chain fatty acids, vitamins and enzymes and they are the things that offer the body the anti-inflammatory and immune boosting benefits.
And in the holistic wellness world, these postbiotics are really important just in here in the body, healing leaky gut, helping your body absorb nutrients, which is just going to help you glow from the inside out, and also help by reducing inflammation that contributes to these autoimmune conditions that so many of us live with.
So post biotics up 911% but remember you gotta really be getting all stages of this journey right gut health is not a band-aid fix it's a lifestyle and I would really be starting with those probiotics the prebiotics and sorting out your diet before jump on this post biotic one as trend in 2025 so
That is something that I think we're going to see more of. And I think it's so interesting that probiotics and postbiotics were numbers one and two on my list. Now, I am going through this episode increasing in search function and form and volume. So as we go through the episode, these things are getting more and more and more searched.
So next up is functional mushroom products up 800% and I think this is not surprising for me. I think we're seeing things like functional mushrooms, lion's mane, rashi, plant medicines, definitely coming more to the mainstream and I know I have an episode coming out in January with Sophie Milner who says that microdosing has been one of the biggest ways that she
has been able to manage her really, really debilitating PMDD that she has been living with for years. And I've also spoken at length about the power of lion's mane for things like anxiety and depression, particularly for depression and brain health.
but also for building new neural pathways in the brain, like it basically helps boost neuroplasticity, which means you can build new pathways to help you think, I'm a lucky girl, I'm a fucking superstar, I'm a golden girl, everything's working out for me, I'm happy, I'm healthy, I'm enough, all of these things, you need neuroplasticity to build new pathways, so lion's mane is amazing for that.
And Reishi is another product that I think we're going to see so much more of. It's amazing for stress relief. Sarah Murphy is always telling me that I need to be taking it because I work so hard. My cortisol is always pumping. My adrenals are always under stress. And that is something that I have in my kitchen. And there's also Turkey Tail, which strengthens immunity. In fact, there are so many different types of functional mushroom products, but I think we are going to be seeing more and more and more of them adapt to genetic blends.
chocolates, smoothies, all of these things, because they think that people are also realizing that these things are nothing to be scared of. Mushrooms have gained popularity also for emotional grounding and spiritual balancing and opening our heart. Sometimes definitely people are like using them too.
trip out a bit more than to use them for their wellness but they have an amazing amazing amazing impact on the body obviously not to be abused but if you want to go and try those out my podcast is actually sponsored by schedule 35 so you can use the code healinghoneys at checkout for 15% off your whole order
And I also love a brand called Commons. Now, they're available here in Mexico. I don't know if they ship or what the deal is, but they are incredible. And I put them in my smoothies and just blend it up. So yeah, I'm not surprised by this. Functional mushroom products up 800% in the search terms for next year. And that is something that I think we're going to see more and more and more of. Now, something that I think is going to be going out.
Seed oils up 1567% in the 2024 Google search trends, which means that more and more and more people are starting to understand. Seed oils might not be the best thing for us. They might be getting in on this seed oil debate.
And if you're not familiar, the deal with seed oils is that oils like canola, soybean and sunflower are high in something called omega-6 fatty acids, which sounds good, but excess omega-6 can promote inflammation and oxidative stress in the body.
And the problem is that these seed oils are hiding everywhere. Many of them are cheap, which means restaurants will cook with them, places will fry with them, they're inside a processed food, salad dressings, baked goods, and even nut butters. And I say even nut butters because that is the thing that I am always looking out for. And I love me, my clean almond butter.
And sometimes when I can't get the one that I want, I'm looking at the ingredients of other ones and I'm like, yo, the stuff in this is crazy when you can just literally blend up a nut and it turns into a nut butter. So why do we need to add 15 other products to this process?
So I think we're gonna see more and more people understanding that this is why people are turning against brands like Oatly and really processed milks that we initially thought were healthy for us. And I think we're gonna see people swapping seed oils for healthier fats. Now I personally cook with olive oil. I say I cook as if I do anything. My boyfriend cooks with avocado oil and that's something that Casey Shea recommended to me.
So the seed order rate is something we are going to see more and more and more of next year. And I think we're going to start to see people switching out on the products that maybe they initially thought were good for them. And I think that's one of the most frustrating things for health is like, we think we're doing something good for us. And then it turns out that actually the business or the brand that has created the product for the most part has often just like
filled it full of shit and we're like this is unfair because I bought this from you because I was trying to be healthy or I thought this was a good option and that's why really taking agency into your own hands is so important on this journey and just to do a little research as you start to decide what is best for you and if you can't be bothered to do that
then that's why i'm here so don't worry i can be your qualified healing bestie okay next in the 2025 wellness glow up trends is NAD so this is up 2,000 400 in the search terms and i'm familiar with NAD so let me tell you about it now it stands for something that i'm not gonna pronounce correctly but it's
Nicotinamide adenide dinucleotide and it's basically a co-enzyme that helps your body produce energy and repair DNA and it's thought to be anti-aging and it's been buzzing in wellness circles for a couple of years now. It's thought to be really good for anti-aging brain function, energy, skin, everything.
I've actually had it in my cupboard for probably I would honestly say like three to four years now or maybe even longer I was familiar with it when I started biohacking about five years ago when I was in London and so it's been on my radar for a while and celebrities like Haley Bieber and Kendall Jenner they swear by it so you can take it in supplement form you can have it in an IV drip which honestly is even better for absorption because it doesn't have to go through your stomach acid etc etc
But this is something that I think we are going to see more of next year. Now, again, there is really no miracle supplement. You are not going to take one thing and it's going to like change your health or give you the glow. But this is definitely something that can help you optimize if you do have a lot of the foundations in place, i.e. good sleep, good hydration, good movement, good diet, good blood sugar regulation, good emotional health. This can be a way that you can elevate, I guess.
the health journey that you're on. But as ever, don't think that taking it is going to be the Band-Aid, it's going to be the silver bullet because it's not. And whilst this wasn't in the Google search trends as far as I was aware, I also think we're going to see glutathione increasing, increasing, increasing in popularity and more and more people becoming familiar with it and aware of it. And this is basically like
I guess you could call it like the glow-up supplement. Maybe that's not correct. It's really the master antioxidant of the body and it helps support detoxification. It helps slow aging. And I think a lot of people will be combining these two together to really just like help your liver do what it needs to do, which is so helpful, particularly those who are going through high stress or toxins. And remember, we live in a world that is more toxic than ever before.
Our thoughts can be toxic. If they are stressful for our body, they can be inflammatory. There can be stress hormones and metabolic waste associated with our thoughts. And the world around us is stressful and the products we put on our body can be toxic and sometimes the water we can drink can be toxic and the food we can eat can be toxic. So anything that really helps the body to do its job of
detoxifying, I think is great. But do I take them? No. Do I have both of them? Yes. So again, it's really just like, how into supplements do you want to be? Because I personally like don't really see that much of a change. When I take many supplements, I really see a change with magnesium and I really see a change with electrolytes. And also, like I said, I love a bit of ratio for stress reduction. But outside of that, I've never really found a supplement that like does anything to my skin, for example, or really make me look better.
For me, those things come from sleep, from exercise, from movement, and from somatic healing. They've given me more of a glow than any of these things. But yeah, they are in my cupboard. And I think we're going to see more people having them in their cupboard next year. Okay, we have two final wellness trends coming up. The next one is autistic masking. Now, this for me is so interesting because you've probably seen it.
We've all seen it and I think it is so amazing that the discussion around autism, the discussion around neurodiversity is increasing and is becoming more mainstream is becoming easier to talk about is becoming part of the discussion which I think it needs to be.
And for me, it was so interesting to see this concept of autistic masking on this search trend list because I think it means that a lot more people are starting to realize like, oh my goodness, like maybe I've been masking. You know, what is masking? Have I been doing it? And I think that's also taking people on these journeys to ask, am I on the autism spectrum or have I lived with ADHD or any of these kind of different variations? And I think
That is so beautiful because for those of us who are not neurotypical, and I would say I'm definitely not neurotypical, although I've never been diagnosed with anything, but I just know that I am different and I function differently to some of the people around me.
I know that for me going on that journey, it definitely helped me be more kind and compassionate and understanding to myself. And I know that other people feel that like such an insane relief when they finally get a diagnosis, even if it is a self diagnosis. Now, masking I think is so interesting. And I think it's really important to basically knowledge the difference between general masking, which is like a behavior where one of us will alter how we act or how we speak to like
fit into social norms or expectations. And I think general masking is something that so many of us particularly females do because we feel like we should be the good girl, we should do this, we should care about this, we should say this and that is exhausting, like deeply exhausting for all of us and our nervous system. But I think where this takes it one step further is autistic masking is slightly different. So autistic masking is more specific and it's where individuals suppress or modify
Their autistic traits to appear more neurotypical and so what that might mean is that they will mimic social behaviors in Public and really be thinking about the eye contact. Am I doing this right? Am I doing it too much? Maybe they will suppress their stimming which is repetitive movements or sounds and maybe they'll even script conversation script answers take note of how other people respond to situations and then
essentially mask with that behavior and there's lots of reasons why people do this and obviously I'm not an expert so I'm not going to speak on it too much but what I will say is that I know it leads to significant emotional and physical exhaustion and anxiety and also burnout because there's a constant effort to suppress natural behaviors and internal impulses from within the nervous system to appear neurotypical and to fit into a society that has been built for neurotypical individuals.
And I think over time, this just can become so exhausting and can really deepen this feeling of disconnection, not only from oneself, but also from people around us and the world. And I think this is where we see autistic burnout and loneliness. So I think it's really amazing that this is one of the search terms for next year. I think it is just so important that these kinds of discussions are happening more and more and more and
I have a number of podcasts on Healing Honey's about ADHD, one with Dr. Jenna Vius Lee, which is helping us understand why so many of us think that we have it today. And if you do think that this is you, I would always implore you to go and read and look into Dr. Gabor Matei's work so fascinating the way that he connects the dots from
genetic sensitivities, childhood stress, things we went through in our families and basically it impacting how our nervous system and our brain and our neurotransmitters have been laid because all of these things in turn end up impacting our personality, also things like limerence, fantasy bonding, obsession, anxious attachment, all of these things in the dating world as well. So I think this is a really important trend and I'm really happy to see it on this list.
Now, the final trend as we come to wrap up today's episode is beef tallow. Up 200, wait, no, up 2833%. So this is the highest increase on this entire...
list. And I will say, Wellness is my life, but I have never ever used beef tallow. Well, I didn't even know what it really was until I started researching this episode. And I honestly just, you know, that like LMS cleansing balm. That's the one that I use. It's like you take it out. It's like a thick kind of, I don't know how to describe it almost like wax and then you rub it between your fingers and it softens and it turns into like a cleanser. Okay. That's what I use every night. I assumed that that was like what beef tallow was, but that it just like came from an animal.
Now, honestly, it sounds gross, but beef tallow is a rendered form of fat derived from the holy breath, the suet, the fat around the kidneys and loins of cows. Honestly, that's pretty fucking gross. And it's solid at room temperature, so it's exactly like my LMS cleansing balm and has a creamy texture. And it's basically previously been used in cooking, but people are loving putting it on their face. And it's really gained traction in the natural skin care world.
And this is because of its nutrients profile, so it's really, really high in vitamins A, D, E, and K, steric acid and oleic acid as well. And all of these things are moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and they help build the skin's lipid barrier. But what's really interesting is that it's also highly bioavailable. So it basically mimics natural oil that's produced by our skin, which means that our body's like, hey, it kind of thinks that it's like what it's made, so it absorbs it.
So that basically means it's kind of like compatible with our skin and our body's not going to reject it. And so it can help to restore and nourish our skin barrier without clogging our pores, which is something we see so much in today's skincare world. It's just like people putting on a 12 layer skincare routine, just like clogging the shit out of their skin.
It's not ideal. Antalo is also antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. And that's amazing because it means it can help with acne, it can help with redness, it can help with rosacea, acne prone, sensitive dry skin, you name it, it's good, it can be used as a daily moisturizer. A nighttime cream, even a spot treatment and helpful for things like eczema.
But not everyone's going to like this. Obviously, if you're vegan, this is not going to be up your street. But I think that beef tallows resurgence actually just kind of reflects this growing interest in ancestral living. And I think that's something we're going to see a lot more of next year. And ancestral living is like, how would I have lived if I was like living with my ancestors? Or I guess more importantly,
how would my ancestors have lived, what products would they have used and it's things like going to bed when the sun goes down and waking up when the sun rises and not using the blue light on our phone like at 12 p.m. scrolling repeatedly and eating products that have 75 ingredients on the label that like you don't understand the name of any of them and they're these crazy colors and you know they're like blue slushies like
I saw something a TikTok in America the other day and I was like, how did we get here? Like, I've never seen anything like this product that they were eating. It was just the craziest thing. So I think we're going to see more around ancestral living and coming back to nature, cycle sinking, eating more local and seasonal produce and also understanding what your body works with in terms of an ancestral diet. And these aren't things that really I
have implemented into my life, but I think that they are going to be things that we're going to see more and more and more of, particularly cycle sinking. This one is actually very important and it is something that I do. And I have seen a really, really unnoticeable difference in my life, the moment that I started to come home to my cycle and starting to understand why I feel different at different times of the month and things like that. So I think we're going to see more and more and more of that
I think we're also going to see more digital detoxing. I think we're going to realize how insanely obsessed with our phones we are. I think we're going to still see more and more and more on sleep optimization, clean beauty. I think sobriety and being so curious is just going to increase and increase and increase. And I think we're going to see more people talking about burnout, whether that's CEO burnout, leadership burnout, autistic burnout.
I don't think our adrenals can keep up with the state of this world. I do not think that we can keep up with the state and the pace of this world. So I think that autoimmune is going to be on the rise. I think people talking about autoimmune is going to be on the rise. I think oral health is going to be something we are going to be talking about more. We also have a microbiome in our mouth. And when that is off balance, that can lead
to all kinds of issues as well and I think we are loosely going to start to see people shifting a tiny bit away from coffee. I love it so so much so I absolutely understand that you'll be like no I don't agree with you on that one but I think we are just starting to understand that the amount of coffee that we drink is
probably not great considering the milks and the stuff that we are putting in it as well. So I think we're also going to see there being an increase in tea and tea drinking and herbal teas and alternative drinks like that. So these, my honeys are my predictions for 2025. I hope you enjoyed this episode. I just thought it was so interesting looking at these trends. So interesting to share it with you. And I would love to know if you have any thoughts on the trends that we have run through.
But most of all, I'm really excited for next year. I'm really excited for 2025. I'm really excited to continue on this glow up journey with you through your mind, through your body, through your soul. It is all interconnected. And the moment that I started to care about these things that we're talking about today is when I started to really feel hot, happy and healthy for the first time ever. There have been so many years of my life when I haven't felt like that. And in fact, I've felt
sad and anxious with health anxiety, chronic pain, autoimmune, kind of dull lackluster skin. So I've been there. I have been there and change and healing is possible. But mainly when you understand that the real glow up starts from within. And I think that the trends show that. I really, really do.
So if you want to come and join me in my Golden Girl 2025 game plan workshop, remember to head over to the show notes, get your ticket today. It is happening on the 5th of January. We will close the doors on the 3rd, so really, really, really you need to buy your ticket today, otherwise you will not be able to join me on this experience. And I would love to start the year by giving you the energetic breakthrough that you deserve and laying the foundations for an epic year.
But other than that, I love you guys so much. Enjoy being horizontal. Enjoy the chocolate. Enjoy the food. Enjoy the TV, the Christmas movies. Enjoy not knowing what day it is, what planet we're in, what galaxy we're in. Sometimes we just need a little bit of downtime, a bit of rest. I myself am not good at taking it, but I know that I will definitely be enjoying these horizontal moments between Christmas and New Year.
And if you're not going out on New Years, don't worry about it. I won't be going out. I never go out. I literally will be in bed asleep at 11 p.m. And normally that's fine because I'm in South Africa with my parents and my family. And you know, last year my sister-in-law was pregnant and normally we just like don't celebrate it a huge amount. And I really love to wake up fresh on the 1st of January, go to the beach, get outside. And this is the first year I'm going to be spending it with my boyfriend and he used to be a big party animal before me. So
I don't know how he's gonna feel about spending the years even bed with me watching the TV is probably what we will do, but I'm sure he'll be happy with it because we're both very home bodies at the moment. In fact, probably too much. It would be good for us to leave the house a little bit more. But that is it from me. I am so excited to spend next year with you and I will see you guys so soon. Sending you so much love. Goodbye.
