The world record for the longest time without sleep is only 11 days. Your brain activity patterns can reveal if you remember your dreams, and you burn calories while you sleep. Interestingly, your eye color might also affect your sleep. Additionally, your natural sleep-wake cycle is longer than 24 hours, meaning you need consistent sleep to make up for lost hours. Lastly, between 5% and 50% of people sleep with their eyes open. Therefore, prioritizing good sleep hygiene and ensuring consistent sleep is essential for overall well-being and performance.
