Ep. 1479 - My Case Against Kamala

November 05, 2024
TLDR: On the Matt Walsh Show, Kamala Harris' case is reviewed, MSNBC disapproves of his film trailer, and a Democrat declines to defend trans ideology in the Democratic party.
In the latest episode of The Matt Walsh Show (Ep. 1479), host Matt Walsh dives deep into the political landscape as Americans head to the polls. With a focus on Vice President Kamala Harris, Walsh presents a thorough critique of her political career and positions, suggesting that voters should consider her unpopularity and disqualification as a candidate.
Key Discussion Points
Election Day Reflections
- America's Political State: Walsh opens by emphasizing the critical nature of the current election, stating that it represents a fight against leftist ideologies that have permeated American politics.
- Trump vs. Harris: As Trump aims for a comeback, Walsh positions Harris not just as a candidate but as a symbol of the potential erosion of the foundational political structures in America.
Harris's Unpopularity
- Public Opinion: Walsh references a Washington Post piece that acknowledged Harris’s unpopularity, touching on her lack of qualifications for the presidency. He argues that even among Democrats, her support is often an anti-Trump vote rather than a genuine endorsement of her capabilities.
- The Case Against Her Policies: According to Walsh, Harris's candidacy embodies a willingness to suspend crucial American principles such as free speech and law enforcement—a point he underlines through examples of her political history and statements.
Critique of Harris's Policies
- Censorship and Free Speech: Walsh cites past debates where Harris advocated for increased corporate responsibility and censorship of platforms like Twitter to remove voices like Trump. This approach, he argues, highlights her extreme stance beyond even that of her peers in the Democratic Party.
- Law and Order vs. Lawlessness: Walsh contrasts Harris' handling of protest actions by groups like Antifa versus the severe penalties for peaceful demonstrators supporting pro-life causes, which he views as hypocritical and indicative of an anarcho-tyrannical legal approach under her leadership.
The Risks of a Harris Candidacy
- Economic Policies: Walsh expresses concern over Harris's potential economic strategies including price controls and taxes on unrealized gains, which he warns could lead to devastating impacts on the American economy.
- Endorsements from Controversial Figures: Notably, Walsh emphasizes the troubling alliances and endorsements for Harris from figures like Liz Cheney, suggesting that this reflects a broader shift in the Democratic Party toward militarization and foreign involvement under Harris’s leadership.
Conclusion
Walsh closes the episode with a sobering reminder of the stakes involved in this election. He argues that a vote for Kamala Harris is more than a choice against Trump; it represents a significant step backward for American democracy and fundamental rights. As voters prepare to cast their ballots, Walsh's episode serves as a call to action, urging them to consider the implications of electing a leader they perceive as unqualified and dangerous to the freedoms and traditions that define the nation.
In Ep. 1479, Walsh underscores the importance of political discernment and the imperative of opposing candidates like Kamala Harris, whose values and policies may threaten the very foundation of American society. This episode serves as both a critique and a rallying cry for those who prioritize the preservation of traditional American values in the upcoming election.
Was this summary helpful?
Today on The Matt Wall Show, as Americans head to the polls today, I will review, hopefully, one last time, the full case against Kamala Harris. Also, I had a chance to share the trailer for my film with MSNBC's viewers last night. Surprisingly, they were not happy about it. I don't know why. And yet, another prominent Democrat has given the chance to defend the official Democrat position on trans ideology. He declines, as they all have during this election season. What does that tell you? Talk about all that and more today on The Matt Wall Show.

Despite two attempts to murder him, multiple civil and criminal trials intended to bankrupt and imprison him, coordinated efforts by the federal government and Silicon Valley to censor him and unconstitutional attempt to throw him off the ballot in several states, two partisan impeachments and dozens of fabricated narratives framing him as everything from a white supremacist to a traitor who's secretly working with Vladimir Putin. Donald Trump has made it to election day. Now, in any other modern presidential election, this wouldn't be worth remarking on, much less celebrating.
The fact that the candidate in the election made it to election day should just kind of be a given, but this election is different. For years, the most powerful interest in the country made an unprecedented attempt to prevent today's vote from taking place.
They were unsuccessful. That's not to say these people don't have other plans in mind to prevent Donald Trump from returning to the White House. We'll probably find out about those plans soon enough. But for now, they're not in charge. Today, voters have the power to hand Trump a decisive victory. Now on Monday, I made a straightforward argument for why Donald Trump deserves to win this election. What I didn't do is explain in depth why Kamala Harris deserves to lose. In part, that's because regardless of politics,
Everybody knows the answer to that question. As recently as March of this year, the Washington Post, which basically functions as an arm of the DNC, published an opinion piece entitled, for the country's sake, Kamala Harris should step aside. I've made the point that Kamala is extremely unpopular.
In addition to being highly unqualified for the vice presidency, much less the presidency. In response to this article, there was no meltdown among the post's left-wing readers. Hundreds of thousands of subscribers didn't cancel their subscriptions. That's because even the readers of the Washington Post, some of the most partisan Democrats on the planet, understood that Kamala is indeed a terrible politician.
To the extent that these Democrats are supporting Kamala today, for the most part, their reasoning is pretty clear. Democrats see a vote for Kamala primarily as a vote against Donald Trump. They've concocted a parade of horribles that will supposedly happen if Trump is elected and they see Kamala as unintelligent and unimpressive as she may be as a bulwark against that outcome.
Now what they're actually voting for is something else entirely though. A vote for Kamala isn't simply a vote for passive incompetence. It's a vote to upend the procedures and systems that this country has had since its founding. And these are procedures and systems that haven't always produced the ideal outcome, but they've always provided the framework that's necessary for self-correcting and improving the country to get us to the place we are today. A vote for Kamala is a vote to suspend the First Amendment.
to begin a campaign of religious and political persecution, to empower warmongers in the Pentagon, in the defense industry, to implement unprecedented price controls and taxes that will cripple the American economy, to further undermine the rule of law, to quash American technological innovation, a companies like Tesla and SpaceX, to demonize men, especially white men.
and to double down on deranged procedures like child sex changes, which have ruined so many young lives. And let's take these points in turn, beginning with Kamala's flagrant disregard for free speech. Now, the last time she ran for president in 2019, Kamala thought she had a gotcha moment during one of the primary debates. And you could tell that she rehearsed it, that she thought she was really doing something profound here.
But all Kamala actually accomplished was demonstrating that she is to the left of Elizabeth Warren on the First Amendment, which is no small feat. Watch. I was surprised to hear that you did not agree with me that on this subject of what should be the rules around corporate responsibility for these big tech companies, when I called on Twitter to suspend Donald Trump's account that you did not agree and I would urge you to join me because here we have Donald Trump.
with 65 million Twitter followers, and is using that platform as the President of the United States to openly intimidate witnesses, to threaten witnesses, to obstruct justice. And he and his account should be taken down. We saw in El Paso.
that that shooter in his manifesto was informed by how Donald Trump uses that platform. And this is a matter of corporate responsibility. Twitter should be held accountable and shut down that site. It is a matter of safety and corporate accountability. Thank you, Senator Warren. You can respond. So, look, I don't just want to push Donald Trump off Twitter. I want to push him out of the White House. That's our job. But the way... Join me in saying that his Twitter account should be shut down. Let's figure it out. Let's figure it out. No?
So this went on for several more minutes. Elizabeth Warren kept refusing to take the bait because what Kamala was proposing was obviously insane. She wanted Warren to join her in calling for the censorship of the sitting president of the United States.
The pretext was that Trump had supposedly tweeted mean things about Democrats and their attempts to impeach him. And so Kamala wanted Trump to be banned on social media as a result of that. This was a recurring theme of Kamala's 2019 presidential campaign. That same year, she promised to double the number of bureaucrats who would quote, hold social media platforms accountable. Watch.
and will put the Department of Justice of the United States back in the business of justice. We will double the Civil Rights Division and direct law enforcement to counter this extremism.
We will hold social media platforms accountable for the hate infiltrating their platforms because they have a responsibility to help fight against this threat to our democracy. And if you profit off of hate,
If you act as a megaphone for misinformation or cyber warfare, if you don't police your platforms, we are going to hold you accountable as a community.
That was moments like this one that led Democrat primary voters to reject Kamala's entire campaign. By October, Kamala's poll numbers lagged behind Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders by double digits, even in her own home state of California. And we all know what happened next. She became Joe Biden's running mate because he needed to pick a black woman in the summer of BLM. And when the Biden-Harris administration took power, the social media censorship commenced immediately.
The White House Press Secretary even admitted that the Biden-Harris administration worked with Facebook to censor posts that they deemed to be, quote-unquote, misinformation. Watch.
This is a big issue of misinformation specifically on the pandemic. In terms of actions, Alex, that we have taken or we're working to take, I should say, from the federal government, we've increased disinformation research and tracking within the Surgeon General's office. We're flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation. We're working with doctors and medical professionals to connect to connected medical experts with popular with popular with their audiences with with accurate information and boost
trusted content, so we're helping get trusted content out there. Now, the Biden-Harris administration didn't want you to talk about where COVID came from or whether masks worked or whether the COVID shot worked or whether social distancing worked or whether lockdowns worked. If you did any of those things, then they tried to get you banned on social media along with Trump. That's how these kinds of crackdowns always work. They don't just target Trump, begins with him, and then they work their way down.
That's exactly what's been happening. Under the Biden-Harris administration, a 69-year-old woman and breast cancer survivor was sentenced to two months in federal prison for the nonviolent offense of demonstrating, parading, or picketing in the U.S. Capitol building. This is a woman who actually tried to prevent other people from entering the Capitol, which I heard that Trump told everyone to go home. She also has gone on the record apologizing for even participating in the protest.
But the DOJ threw her in prison anyway. At around the same time, the DOJ was dismissing dozens of cases against Antifa rioters who sieged a federal courthouse in Portland. And some of those rioters had allegedly assaulted federal officers, which is a lot more than the elderly grandmother with cancer did, but of course they were never punished. Now things might have been different if instead of throwing Molotov cocktails and assaulting police officers, those rioters had decided to peacefully pray in front of the courthouse instead.
That would have been a problem, especially if they obstructed access to the building, allegedly. And we know that because under Kamala Harris, the DOJ has gone out of its way to target pro-life demonstrators for peaceful demonstrations at abortion clinics. One of those demonstrators was a 75-year-old woman named Palette Harlow. She was sentenced to two years in prison for participating in the blockade of a Washington abortion clinic along with nine other co-conspirators, quote unquote.
According to court documents, Harlow sat in the chairs that they had placed to obstruct passage into the clinics treatment area and chained and roped themselves together. In other words, there was no destruction of property. There was no arson. Nobody attacked the police officer or vandalized anything. Nothing violent happened. All of those things happened in Portland and across the country during the BLM riots,
But they didn't happen in this case. All this elderly woman did was block access to an abortion clinic and violation of a federal law that's specifically written to protect access to abortion clinics. And this time around Kamala Harris' DOJ didn't drop the charges or let this woman go free with a warning. As we've seen happen with DA's all over the country, letting violent criminals go free, having mercy on them. But not for this woman, no mercy.
No criminal record, didn't harm anyone, didn't destroy any property. No, you're going to prison. No, instead after the police removed her, Kamala Harris's DOJ decided to send her to federal prison in order to send a message. And that message is clear, if you riot for left wing causes, Kamala will raise bail money to get you out. She'll make sure you're not prosecuted, but if you demonstrate peacefully for pro-life causes, you'll be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
This is often described as anarcho tyranny. It's the defining aspect of the legal system under Kamala Harris. Laws don't apply to party loyalists. Meanwhile, tyranny applies to anyone who opposes the party. And to be clear, when I say the party,
I'm talking about a party that's completely unrecognizable from what it was just a decade ago. Democrats who once warned about the potential abuses of secret surveillance courts and used to call Dick Cheney a Nazi for what he did to Iraq, they're now fully on board with empowering the FBI and waging foreign wars. That's the main reason why Tulsi Gabbard and Elon Musk are for Trump. Well, Kamala Harris is out campaigning with Liz Cheney.
A vote for Kamala is a vote for the defense industry and the Pentagon. It's that simple. Inside the Democrat Party, there's no sense of shame or self-awareness about any of this. Instead, they're talking about promoting Liz Cheney to run the DOJ or the FBI or the CIA, if Kamala Harris wins. Watch. Are you also a lawyer? Yeah, I am. So you could conceivably be a great AG. And this is...
And I say this because your moral core is magnificent. I know you probably don't want it, you don't want to think about it, but I just feel like I would feel a lot better with you leading
The FBI, the CIA, the NBC, everybody at home to see. That's just sad. So I'm just saying, should it be floated, please think about it. And under the radar, we have to get.
Vice President Harris elected. You know, I'm just, I'm being... You're putting it in the universe because that's how we do things. There's the great courage of Liz Cheney, by the way. You know, we always hear about how Liz Cheney, she stood up against her own party.
She stood to risk everything, standing up against her. Yeah, she risked a whole lot. This is what she risked, right? This was the risk, is that by doing what she did, now she gets invited on network TV. She gets invited on the view. She's got the mainstream media singing her praises.
which they never would do. If she had not come out for Kamala, if she had not come out against Trump, if she'd even stayed just moderates rather than full on left wing, all these people would hate her. So this is the courage. She stood to gain nothing except like all of this, except money, fame, praise.
So this is what a vote for Kamala would accomplish. There's a very good chance that Kamala Harris would put a Cheney back in control of the security state and the CIA. And we all know what that would mean. It would mean a lot more money flowing into the defense industry and inevitably a lot more warfare. It'd be the exact opposite of what we were all experienced during four years of Donald Trump in the White House when we didn't start any foreign wars and we prevented wars from breaking out all over the world. Donald Trump often likes to say that when he was in office,
And he was able to prevent wars by convincing foreign leaders from Putin to Kim Jong-un that war wasn't in their best interests. The Democrats often mock him for saying these kinds of things, but consider the fact that prior to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Kamala was dispatched to Europe in an effort to alleviate tensions, and we all know how that worked out.
Then consider the fact that Kamala isn't even capable of doing a short, friendly internet show without a script. So imagine what she would be like in front of foreign leaders. And to give just the latest example of this problem, Kamala was recently booked for an internet show called Subway Takes.
And the premise is that the host, a guy named Rama, interviews a guest about some controversial take they have on some subject. For example, a guest might say that it's fine to ghost people and they'll go back and forth and they'll argue it out. It's supposed to be light-hearted stuff, right? And so it'd be impossible to screw it up. How do you screw it up? But according to The New York Times, somehow Kamala managed to screw it up.
First, Harris' team prevented Rama, who's a Muslim, from asking any questions about the war in Gaza. And then when it came time for Harris to defend her controversial take, things got even worse. Quote, what happened was a dispute over Harris' take. Rama said that he had been told that the vice president would be taking a stand against removing one's shoes on airplanes. When they sat down, however, Harris had surprised him with a different take. Bacon is a spice.
Now, Rama, who doesn't eat pork for religious reasons, was taken aback. I don't know, he says. Harris elaborates that bits of cooked bacon can be used to enhance a meal like any other seasoning. Think about it, it's pure flavor, she says. Rama asks Harris if he can use beef or turkey and what kind of dishes would benefit from bacon. He then pauses the interview and tells her that he doesn't eat it.
He asks if they can do the airplanes take instead, but on the advice of the staff or Harris decide to declare her love of anchovies on pizza, an alternative the campaign had floated earlier in the email. Rama wraps the discussion one minute later.
Now to be clear, this is not satire. This is an article written, you know, published in a paper that just endorsed Kamala that's extremely friendly towards her campaign. So to recap, she didn't want to talk about the Warren Gaza because she might offend someone. So instead she tries to convince this Muslim influencer that bacon is a spice because it's pure flavor.
And then when she realizes that she's ticked them off, she panics and starts to, it turns to her staff who tells her to start talking about maybe the most cliche and boring take imaginable, which is that anchovies go well on pizza. Then the host scraps the entire interview and didn't air it because it was so unwatchable and dull and fake. And also for the record, bacon is obviously not a spice, it's a protein. It's like if somebody asks what kind of spice you put in your chili and you say ground beef, like it makes no sense.
But anyway, again, imagine this person sitting across from Vladimir Putin for 10 seconds, even. There's not a person on the planet who thinks that he'd take her seriously. Nor would he have any reason to take her seriously.
Of course, Kamala's inability to string together a coherent thought isn't just a liability on the international stage, it's a liability here as well. A few weeks ago, Kamala was asked about how she'd vote on Proposition 36, which is a California ballot initiative that would allow for enhanced sentences for people who commit retail theft or drug crimes.
As a voter who's registered in California, not to mention the Democrats nominee for president, stands the reason that she had some opinion on this particular proposal. At the time, she said that she was considering her vote carefully, and she'd have to get back to the reporter watch.
Okay, so fast forward more than a week and Kamala was asked again about her position on Proposition 36. Again, this is not a complicated question, but again, she did not answer it. This time she just refused entirely. Watch. Simply how are you feeling and have you submitted your ballot?
I am feeling great. I am looking forward to these next 48 hours to continue to talk with the voters and talk about the stakes and talk about the future of our country, which I think is bright when we are working with the same spirit of building community, building coalitions, and building the strength of our economy and our country. I have, I've actually just filled out my mail-in ballot, so I have voting.
Charlie, Madam Vice President, have you returned the ballot to California and how did you vote on Prop 36? So I have, my ballot is on its way to California and I'm gonna trust the system that it will arrive there and I am not gonna talk about the vote on that because honestly it's the Sunday before the election and I don't intend to create an endorsement one way or another around it so, but I did vote.
Now, the word disqualifying is thrown around a lot in politics, but if the word applies to anything, it's this. Kamala is refusing to comment on a proposition that's polling extremely well in California because it's obviously necessary. Specifically, Prop 36 would roll back some criminal justice reform so-called from a decade ago. It would make it a felony for people with two or more previous theft related convictions to steal more than $950 from a store.
Currently, it's only a misdemeanor. Additionally, if somebody has two or more drug convictions and then gets charged with possessing fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, meth, then they could be ordered to get treatment under this new proposition. And if they fail to comply, they can go to prison for up to three years. Now, these are extremely basic
bare minimum, bare bones provisions. The fact that Kamala can't be bothered to voice support for something so basic is a clear indicator that if elected, she would allow lawlessness to prevail in major cities across the country. It's also a sign that she's completely incapable of answering a question where her answer hasn't been scripted in events, which is also disqualifying.
That's not even getting into Kamala's plans to implement price controls on groceries or to tax unrealized capital gains for the first time in country's history. These were proposals that Kamala Harris' campaign pitched in a document dump on a Friday, but Kamala herself has never actually elaborated on any of them.
That's probably because she has no idea what the implications of any of these policies would be. We're talking about massive unprecedented government meddling in the economy, and the person who wants to be president can't even articulate how she's going to do it without destroying everything. What happens when the government tells a grocery store what price to charge? What happens to your 401k when the government tells rich people to pull hundreds of billions of dollars out of the markets to pay for some new tax? Kamala has no idea.
She's hoping you don't mind finding out the hard way. So far, I've only been covering Kamala's stated policy positions in the current campaign. I've given her the benefit of the doubt that she's really reversed all of her positions from a couple of years ago, but we all know that's not true. We all know she fully supports a ban on fracking, mandatory gun confiscation, defunding police departments, opening the border, decriminalizing border crossings, eliminating private health insurance, permitting child mutilation in the name of gender, firming care, quote unquote, and so on.
But even if you pretend that Kamala doesn't believe any of that anymore, even if you choose to look only at the policy positions, she's gone out of her way to promote in the last couple of months only. She's still the single most radical and incompetent presidential candidate in modern history. So this is the closing argument against Kamala Harris. Even Democrats know that everything I just said is accurate. The only question left is whether Democrat voters simply don't care.
These people know that Donald Trump isn't calling for a national abortion ban. They know that he didn't praise white supremacists. They know that he didn't say Liz Cheney should be shot. These are all pretext. The real question is whether this woman who nobody really likes and nobody really believes in will end up becoming the most powerful person in the world anyway. Now, I feel cautiously optimistic that the answer will be no.
But very soon, we'll know for sure. Now let's get to our five headlines.
There's a lot at stake this election, regardless of who's sitting in the White House or in Congress, the fuse on the economy has already been lit. Four years of a conservative presidency will not be enough to turn the tide on our $35 trillion national debt. If the left wins, it's like throwing gas on a dumpster fire. You don't have much control over the election's outcome, but you can protect your savings by diversifying now into gold from my friends at Birch Gold.
That's right. For millennia, gold has stood firm in the face of greedy governments, economic upheavals and global strife. And it can protect you right now. Birch Gold will help you convert an IRA or 401k into an IRA in physical gold.
And the best news, it doesn't cost you a penny out of pocket. Think about this. In the past four years, the buying power of the US dollar has declined. The price of gold has increased 40%. Coincidence? I don't think so. Text Walsh to 98.9898. Get your free info kit on gold, then diversify as the exclusive gold partner of the Daily Wire for the past eight years. You can trust Birch Gold as I do to protect your savings. Text Walsh to 98.9898 today. Again, that's Walsh to 98.9898 today.
Okay, we'll run through a few headlines here. You know, this is an episode that will stop being relevant the moments that pulls start closing. So, you know, usually a podcast episode has a shelf life of like 24 hours. But in this case, it'll be like four and a half minutes. Just an nature of the beast. So, but we'll talk about what's going on anyway. We'll start with this.
Just because it's fun. Last night, the night before the election, where a DEI candidate is trying to be president, we figured it was a really great time to run an ad for our movie about DEI on MSNBC, where all of their viewers are fans of the DEI candidate.
And so it's a match made in heaven. Why wouldn't we run an ad on that channel? And we really did that, by the way. It's 100% true. It's not a joke. Here's the video proof. Let's play it.
We're going to take a quick break. When we come back, we got a whole show for you. It's our last full show before the election. I think it's fair to say it's going to be pretty different than every other last show you've seen before the election. Either I miss network or any others. That's just because I'm a weirdo. This show for you all right is here with us tonight live. We've got a lot to get to. I'll be right back with us.
Growing up in the 90s, I never thought much about race. What's happening in this country? It's Nazism, Republicans are Nazism. I'm going to sort this out. I need to go deeper on your cover. Morning us now is mad through to buying DEI expert. Through my certification.
Center your whiteness. We're making it the center. Why are they doing that? What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness. Just more for you and us for you. Make us am I racist and scream only on David wire plus
So there it is. And we also ran an ad on Joy Reid's show, by the way. And we really wanted to make sure the ads were prominently placed. So our trailer on Rachel Maddow was the first into the commercial break. As you saw, Joy Reid, it was, I think, the last one that was played right out of the break. So you get to see my face right before Joy Reid's.
And I really just want to thank MSNBC and Rachel and Joy especially personally for helping us to get the word out about our film. And I know that I assume that those women are very happy, thrilled to be a part of this, to be a part of this really important dialogue that I'm having with their viewers. But here's the odd thing, and I wasn't expecting this, this kind of blew me away.
It honestly made me sad, but MSNBC viewers based on the reaction that I saw online were not very happy that the ad was playing. So just a couple of tweets from MSNBC fans, Tara Dublin, someone named Tara Dublin says, I keep seeing these ads for this propaganda documentary running on MSNBC. Let me save you some time. If it's from the Daily Wire, it's hella racist.
And someone named Mahogany Woe says, why the flying F did I see a trailer for that Matt Walsh pseudo movie on MSNBC, Jesus F? Well, sorry, I thought you guys would like it. Jeez.
Honestly, guys, a little rude. It's a little bit of a rude. I made that trailer specifically for you. I worked for days, days to make a special trailer just for MSNBC viewers. I thought they would like it. I was super excited to share it with you. And this is how you react? You owe me an apology, honestly. I think I'm owed an apology for that. It's a little rude.
The good news though is that I think we're running these ads like all week on MSNBC. So you'll have time to rethink your position. And it's one of those things you have to, you see the ad the first time and maybe you don't get it. I think you just didn't get it. I think you didn't get it. You didn't understand it. So you got to see it a few more times. And after a few viewings, I think you'll start to like it a lot more. So that was good. That was fun. Or at least it should have been fun.
I thought all the MSC viewers would say, oh, wow, that's a, oh, is that a Matt Walsh film? I really'd like to check that out. I thought that's what they'd say. All right, let's see, New York Post has this piece by Kirsten Fleming. It says, on day two of his manslaughter case, Daniel Penny ceased having a name. He became merely the white man.
During the prosecution's opening statements on Friday, they asked why Penny 26 did not see Mr. Neely's humanity. On Monday, the Marine Corps veteran facing 15 years for the subway chokehold that killed a mentally ill homeless man, Jordan Neely allegedly killed him. We don't even know that it did. Was reduced by the same prosecution to his race and sex over and over.
This started when 19-year-old Yvette Rosario, a bystander on the train that day, was called to the stand. Rosario appearing visibly shy and nervous, captured a short shaky video of Penny holding Nelien a chokehold on the uptown F train. It became clear that Rosario, whose voice at times was barely audible, did not know Penny's name. So she referred to him as the white guy. But she was not corrected by Assistant DA Gillian Chartrand, nor did the, the first part of her name is Chart.
That's good. So, Assistant D.A. Gillian Chartrand, nor did the lawyer inform Rosario of the defendant's name. Instead, Chartrand adopted it as her own, calling him the white man. Chartrand continued to question Rosario, referring to the defendant as such, more than half a dozen times. It was jarring to hear it repeated so casually.
So this is how the DA was referring to Daniel Penny as the white guy. The white guy. It's just disgusting. It's reprehensible. It goes without saying that you would never hear this going the other way. You'd never ever hear a prosecutor in court referring to the defendant as the black guy. I mean, that would be an immediate mistrial if that happened, okay? It would be a mistrial. If you had the prosecutor
trying to throw a black guy in prison and calling him during questioning, the black guy over there. Not gonna happen. Only goes this way, but even in a country where casual anti-white racism is so prevalent and so socially acceptable, it's still shocking, it's still shocking to hear this. And also I think it's not a coincidence that this went to trial this week of all weeks.
And we know that normally the courts move slow as molasses, but this one to trial relatively quickly and the trial, you know, started this week, this week of all weeks, this very week when everyone is obviously preoccupied with the election, understandably so.
I am, you know, we all are. It's the most important thing happening in the country right now is the presidential election. So you can't blame anyone for paying more attention to the election than this case. But that's the point. I mean, this is the game they're playing. I think this is why they're having, this is why they wanted to have the trial right now. Because they know they're railroading an innocent man and they want to do it with as few eyes on them as possible. It's the same kind of
It's an extreme version of the sort of Friday news dump strategy. They don't want anyone to see it. They don't want anyone to see that Daniel Penny is on trial for being a white man who protected the public from a black man. That's why he's on trial. And they can't defend it and don't want anyone to see it. Last week, you know, of course we heard from Joe Biden calling Trump supporters garbage
Now here's Kathy Hokiel, the governor of New York, also a DEI hire, by the way, for her gender, not for the race. Anyway, here she is giving her opinion of Trump supporters.
It gave me a chance to tie the Republicans running these seats, the incumbents closer to Donald Trump and remind everybody if you're voting for these Republicans in New York. You are voting for someone who supports Donald Trump and you're anti-woman, you're anti-abortion and basically you're anti-American because you have just trashed American values and what our country is all about over and over and over.
Well, there it is. Notice she did not say that Trump is anti-American and Trump is trashing American values. I mean, she obviously thinks that. I assume has said that sort of thing many times. But in this case, she said that if you vote for him, if you're one of the tens of millions of Americans who are right now voting for Trump, you are anti-American yourself and trashing American values. So these are the defenders of democracy here. Here they are. They deeply cherish your right to choose
who runs the country as long as you make the choice that they want you to make. And if you don't, then you're anti-American and you're undemocratic and you're a piece of garbage. That's how they see it. And we have never seen these people take the mask off more than they have this time around, and especially in the last few weeks.
they're taking the mask off. On one hand, that's unfortunate that they're taking the mask off because these people are truly hideous. I mean, they are ugly as sin inside and out. Cathy Hokule is a disgusting human, physically and spiritually. So that's unfortunate, but also it's good that they're taking the mask off because people can see them for who they are. And the things that have been said about this election cannot be unsaid. The genie does not go back in the bottle.
That's why you gotta go vote against these people. And then remember, remember what they've said. Remember what they think of you. This is why I truly do believe that America is more divided right now than it's ever been, ever, including in 1861. More divided than that, even. When you've got, when you've got,
People, not just anyone, but you've got the leaders of the Democrat Party, the President of the United States, you've got leaders, elites in the party that are just openly saying that, hey, if you disagree with me and you're not on my side, then you are garbage. You are un-American garbage. That's their message. Let's see. One other thing I wanted to play for you,
And you know, this has been an election with a lot of very cringy moments, as we know. But Cardi B, speaking at a Kamala rally a couple of days ago, may have provided us with the cringiest of all. She got it in right before the buzzer, right before the end. A cringiest moment of all, this is hard to get through. In fact, I haven't watched this whole, this is like a minute long,
I haven't watched the whole thing. I've watched, I think 35 seconds was the most I could do. So she was invited to speak at a Kamala Harris rally a few days ago. And that's problem number one. Why is Cardi B there?
You know, at least she's a pop star like from this decade who was relevant this decade. I don't know if anyone still cares about her that much or cares about her music that much, but like in the last few years, she's had hit songs, I believe. So at least that because other than Cardi B, and yeah, we know Beyonce was there.
But she also had a lot of like, she had Jennifer Lopez speaking at a rally. She had Christina Aguilera was performing, I think at the same rally. Fat Joe, the rapper Fat Joe was also, this was all I think last night or in the last couple of days. So she's brought those people out. Fat Joe, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez. And I gotta admit, these are, I mean, those are really powerful, really relevant
presidential endorsements from the year 2002. If this was the year 2002, if she was running in the 2004 election against George Bush, and she had those people campaign, you'd say, well, that's some firepower. So she's had a lot of that, but Cardi B, at least a little bit more relevant with her. She's had a hit sometime in the last 20 years.
But still, why do we need to hear from her? And she was invited up to speak. Unfortunately, her prompter was malfunctioning. And let's just say she did not know how to play it off. Once the prompter started malfunctioning, let's watch. One second guys, one second.
Okay, so I don't take lightly the call. Sorry, guys, I'm a little nervous. I'm a little nervous, guys. I've been waiting for this moment to fall in my whole life. I need patience over here. Patience, where are you, girl? I need patience over here.
How you guys doing tonight? How you guys doing tonight? Are we ready to make history? Are we ready to make history? Are we ready to change these four years? No. Are we ready to change the next eight years? Because we're going to make sure we have Kamala Harris in office for eight years.
Thank you. Now, look, when you're in front of a live audience and something goes wrong like that, I mean, a prompter wasn't working. And so she was just didn't know what to do. She froze and she starts calling for patience, I think, which I think was a little confused, but I think patience is a person. I don't know what she's saying to the audience, be patient. I don't know. But then someone runs up with a phone and gives it to her.
I don't know. It was confusing. But she froze and she didn't know what to do. It's tough. I know that. I know from experience, tough spot to be in. She was there to read a speech that somebody wrote for her. Speech wasn't loading on the prompter. And that could be tough. That's a tough thing. But you can't riff for a couple of minutes. Just for a cup. Like they had to have time to fix the prompter.
Again, you know, if this is someone who's been on stage a million times, it doesn't get usually good speeches, but someone's been in front of lots of people a million times. And you can't just riff for a couple of minutes. A couple of minutes while you're waiting, that's what you have to do in these moments when prompt is not loading and you gotta just fill time, because it's alive, you're in front of people. You can't cut and reset. And so you just have to fill the time.
You can't do that, you can't like give them a second to fix the prompter and you spend 60 seconds, 120 seconds. Just talking about why you like Kamala Harris, even in broad terms. No, she can't. She couldn't do that. She could not off script even for 30 seconds.
Talk about why she supports Kamala Harris, what she thinks about anything going on in the world, because these people are totally empty, completely vapid, nothing going on at all. And so in that way, I guess, I guess Cardi B is the perfect representative of the Kamala campaign, I suppose.

2024 Watch Live starting at 6 p.m. Eastern on Daily Wire+, and let's get to our Daily Cancellation.
All right, we have a quick final cancellation of the election season. John Federman did the interview circuit over the weekend. First, he appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast, and I don't think that his appearance, I don't think it was meant to embarrass Kamala Harris, maybe it was, but it achieved that one way or another. It is humiliating for Kamala that a stroke survivor can do two hours on Rogan, but Kamala was still too afraid to appear for any time at all.
Apparently, Kamala had demanded that Rogan come to her and that they only talk for 45 minutes. She wanted him to change location and format. He doesn't do 45-minute shows. So you gotta change the location and the format for her sake in order to do the show. Meanwhile, a guy who suffered actual brain damage went down to Austin, sat for two-hour unscripted interview. And that just goes to show, yet again, how weak and pathetic Kamala Harris is.
Federman deserves credit for going on the Rogan podcast, but he doesn't deserve credit for the interview he did a day later on CNN. Talking to Dana Bash, Federman was asked about the trans issue. As I've pointed out many times throughout the campaign, Democrats have become very noticeably shy about this issue all of a sudden. They're not campaigning on it, they aren't even talking about it. And Federman didn't want to talk about it very much either, it turns out. Here it is.
One of the most prevalent Trump campaign ads has been attacking Kamala Harris for her stance on trans rights. The ad ends with a tagline quote, Kamala is for they them. President Trump is for you. Is that resonating in Pennsylvania?
Again, if your political capital comes from picking on trans kids or gay kids or anything like that, you're just bankrupt throughout all of this. My version of being a man is like, hey, I like rib eyes, I like motor head, and I'm never going to pick on trans kids.
and gay kids or things. And it's just sad that the other side choose to kind of pick on members of those community. And I've said this throughout my entire career, that if you think that I have to turn our backs on their community, then you can vote for somebody else. But I'm never unwilling to ever do that. And again, it's just a warped version of it doesn't make you tough. It doesn't make you a man to pick on trans or gay kids. It just makes you an
But politically, the Trump campaign believes that that has some residents with suburban parents, with men in the communities of color. You don't see that?
And I don't speak about a member and they're views of a member of a community. I'm not part of that community. But my views have been very clear throughout all of this. And I will say that. So yeah, he doesn't want to talk about it. He just says he doesn't want to bully or pick on trans kids.
A Federman gives his recipe for being a man. All you have to do, he says, is eat ribeye, listen to motorhead, and don't pick on trans kids. That's masculinity in Federman's mind. It's where he's setting the bar for himself, a bar that I'm mostly clear also, by the way. I don't pick on kids who identify as trans. I don't pick on any kids at all, actually. I also like ribeye. Motorhead, I could take or leave. That's two out of three, at least. And Federman says that's all it takes to be a man. That's the whole picture of masculinity.
Apparently, it's a picture that doesn't include intellectual or moral courage, because it turns out that Letterman, despite having the gumption to talk to Joe Rogan, is still an intellectual and moral coward. That's why he lamely dodges the issue by labeling everybody on the other side of it a bully, the weakest and most dishonest move imaginable, but the only tool the left has in its toolbox, especially on this issue.
And I've noticed that the federal government never actually addresses the argument that Trump or anyone on the right is making about trans ideology. The ads that Dana Bash is referring to aren't just ads about transgenderism broadly. The ads are specifically hitting Kamala for four things, taxpayer funded sex changes for illegal immigrants, sending male offenders to women's prisons, giving prisoners tax funded sex change operations, and putting males in women's sports.
Those are the particular issues that Trump is raising. And just as an example, here's one of those ads for reference. Kamala supports taxpayer-funded sex changes for prisoners. Surgery. For prisoners. For prisoners, every transgender inmate in the prison system would have access.
It's hard to believe, but it's true. Even the liberal media was shocked. Kamala supports taxpayer-funded sex changes for prisoners and illegal aliens. Every transgender inmate would have access. Kamala's for they, them. President Trump is for you. I'm Donald J. Trump, and I approve this message. It's a great tagline. Hilarious and accurate. Kamala's for they, them. Trump is for you. Again, the ad raises a specific issue. The issue, it makes specific claims.
three specific claims, actually. One, that Kamala supports tax-funded sex changes for prisoners, two, that Kamala supports tax-funded sex changes for illegal aliens, and three, that it's bad to support those two things. Those are the claims in the 30-second head.
If you're gonna try to refute the ad or respond to it, you can try to deny the first two claims. You can say that Kamala never supported those things, or you can deny the last claim. You can say that Kamala did support them, but it's actually good that she did.
And the problem for the left and guys like Federman is that there is no possible way to refute the first two. That's on video. Clips are in the ad, you can see for yourself. Kamala directly explicitly repeatedly came out in support of spending tax money on gender transitions for violent criminals and illegal aliens. Can't be denied, we can all hear her say it. That leaves you only with the third claim. You can deny that it's bad to support those things.
But that's an even bigger problem for the left in guys like Federman. They don't wanna be on the record defending something so egregiously and flagrantly indefensible. They know that no American citizen, no voter no matter how far to the left they may be actually wants to spend their money helping convicted rapists live out their fantasies, you know, in prison or providing elective plastic surgery to people who aren't even in the country legally. Nobody wants that.
Like it's the very definition of an indefensible position. So what's left? Well, if you're a man of integrity and self-respect, you would do the only honest and respectable thing. You would say, yes, Kamala Harris did support those things. She should not have. It's obviously a terrible idea. I disagree with her. But Fetterman isn't man enough to say that. He's man enough to listen to motorhead and eat ribeyes.
but not man enough to break with his party's trans extremism. Which means they could do nothing but deflect, and that's what you hear in the clip. Federal and pathetically whines that Republicans are picking on trans kids. What do trans kids, that is kids who allegedly identify as trans, what do they have to do with sex change surgeries for convicted felons in prison? What do they have to do with gender transitions for adult illegal immigrants? I'll think it all.
It's a dodge. His way of protecting trans kids, quote, unquote, is to use them as human shields. He protects them by first offering them up to the pharmaceutical industry to be sterilized and castrated. And then he hides behind them to avoid scrutiny on issues that embarrass him. That's how this manly man protects the kids.
That's because Fetterman is a pathetic excuse for a man, just like every other elected member of his party, male member of his party, and the female members are pathetic excuses for women. They're all the same. They all deserve to lose. Let's make sure they lose big today, so that they will all be today, finally, canceled. That'll do for the show today, and we will talk to you tomorrow, ready for the country. Godspeed.
