Oh, you guys. Yeah. Let's see. Oh, shit. There's actually stuff. There is results. Nick. There are bullets. The radiant weapons guardian plus six bus combo. Yeah. First of all, there are things bad as sites. Yeah. Lots of sites. Oh, in bus. Oh, because they're in bus sites. I get it. That makes a lot of sense. Do you guys still put iron sights on your guns?
Usually? Yeah, sometimes I do. I don't really anymore. I take that back. I'm like the ones that are my go to war. I do. On my other ones, I usually don't. There's extra weight.
So what I do is I keep them in my pocket and, you know, they're all cutie. So just put them on real quick in case I need them. It's fucking smart. I have empty chamber. I have specific things that are for reasons and stuff.
Yeah. Yeah. I agree. Okay. That did answer any questions. If you, if you want 45 offset, if you know how to read between the lines, if you want 45, let me finish this. If you want 45 offset, if you want in bus, if you want, they got all the mag pole stuff. They've got pretty much all the sites that you could imagine, all the materials you could imagine, all the configurations you could imagine over at brownalls.com coupon code WLS 10 saves you money. They have bushings.
Ooh, barrel vices with bushings. Or bus shings. Uh, fucking clever. They have busings. They have, yeah, they have busings. Yeah. Well, this is a segment that we call Dear WLS. You send in your questions from we like shooting.com slash dashboard. Click on Dear WLS. Submit your question. Aaron, why don't you take the first one? First one comes from Dusty Bob. Oh, yeah. Shut up, dude. I'm reading. Sorry.
Hey guys, I was at a gun show and saw a bunch of revolvers in 350 legend. I get there, they're catering to the straight wall and pistol hunting regulations, but why not revive the 357 max cartridge with the 357 max, you can shoot 38, 357 and 357 max. Also, I took Jeremy's advice and masturbated to a gay porn.
Sorry. I also took Jeremy's advice and washed the used bark it on suppressors picked up a Sandman, uh, Sandman TI that was a demo for half price. Love the show. I've been listening for about six years. Keep it up. Jeremy's gay. Don't say that. Yeah. I know I did. Don't don't add to that. Okay. We already know it. Yeah. I mean, like six dudes are going to call him to come before the night's over. I think you can just, you know, not add on. I could, but I won't anymore.
So 357 max. Let's see if we can make it eight. Perfect. What do you guys think? I mean, why did 357 max go out? I don't know much about it. Was it like a legit Sami cartridge or was it a.
Like a wild cat. It was super expensive. It was completely unneeded for the, you know, for like, imagine, imagine taking a 357 Magnum, stretching it out even longer and jacking the fucking pressure away the hell up. Like that's literally what it is. It was awesome. Already. It was the four 54 kasool of, of, you know, the 38 through 57 lineage, so to speak. Uh, it just had no, it just really didn't have much of a use. And it was super expensive.
Yeah, it was, uh, let's see, 350 legend is like 55,000 PSI and 350, 357 max is 40 K. Bullet weights for 350 legend or 150 to 180, 357 max is 158 to 200. They're both straight wall, 357 mag is the parent case for 357, obviously. And two, two, three is the parent case for 350 legend.
basically same effective range. But they basically reused frames. They just stretched them a little bit and then added bigger cylinders. And you had a lot of well, fucking Vince just said it actually. Yeah, flame cutting on the floor around the forcing cone like in the top strap. That was one of the issues. Smith actually fixed that in the four sixties by making a little piece in the top strap by the forcing cone that's replaceable. Interesting.
Yeah, that's it. An Elmer Keith cartridge too. Oh, nice. Like, don't get me wrong.
Essentially, 357 maximum and 350 legend are not quite the same cartridge, but it's pretty close. Except they mark it through 57 maximums as a handgun cartridge, but it's rimmed, because it's revolver cartridge, which is why it didn't go higher. I actually think you could do a 350 legend, 357 maximum rimmed and rimless, or rebated rim, actually, technically, I believe.
I think you could do it, but then you'd have like 357 maximum lever guns, which then you could jack the pressure way up.
I don't know, but like it's more of a rifle cartridge, but they never really made, like there were some rifles, but it was never really marketed that way. And it's much more a rifle cartridge. Like 454 Casoul is more of a rifle cartridge than a revolver cartridge, but because it's such a fucking showstopper, shall we say. And like the bear country kind of guys, that's what they use it for, but I wish there were more 454 Casoul evergands.
Yeah, I actually agree with that. I have a 350 legend that I'm going to talk about in the other show. Do you want to say it real quick?
Ooh, it's a teaser right there. You got to go deer hunting with that? Maybe. That would be fucking dope. Uh, if you, if you define one, yeah. Also, I hear that suppressor sales are way up. So yeah, definitely keep an eye on the use market or if you just want to buy great stuff, you can go to bowersgroup.com and use coupon code WLS. Uh, Nick, why don't you take the second question? Oh, okay.
Greg says if you could have any guns from history, which one would it be? I would want the cold 1911 and cold detective special 38 that Bonnie and Clyde war when they were killed. Holy shit. I want Gary Plowsh's revolver.
No, Gary, why? I want the flameflowers they used it to be lying massacre. Be lying massacre. It's not a firearm. Well, I mean, it is fire. You know what? I retract that statement. It is an arm and it is fiery. How about you, Jeremy? One gun from history. One, the gun that killed John Lennon. Dang. So you and I both wanted guns that killed pedophiles.
Goodness. I would use the soul of the firearm to keep its work going. Love it. I actually saw a soccer mom today with a minivan and she looked like an absolute soccer mom and had a sticker on the side window that was like a dude kneeling down on the ground and a dude behind pointing a gun at the head and it said, kill your local pedophile. And I was like fucking based.
Uh, stuck not custom sent me, uh, you know, like a fire extinguisher with an arrow sticker or a magnet. Yeah, but they say, but they say Pito extinguisher. I've seen those. They're awesome. And I have them all over my shop over. People don't really notice. They're just like, when they do, it's hilarious. Cause they're like, wait a minute. Was that say? Where do I get those? I'm like, go to this guy's Instagram. That's fucking great. I love it. Um, let's see Jeremy. Next question.
Ugh.
Michael C. says, I enjoy listening to Double Tap 375 on a long road trip. I hope to provide further clarification on the topic of acts versus atchit. Uncle Joe had a friend, Bob Berg. Bob had a lot of skills and knowledge about things like ropes, knots, bonfires, and building crosses. Bob explained the difference in hatchet and then acts like this. A hatchet is a noun and acts as a verb. Examples. This is my hatchet, hatchet the noun. Let me ask you something, acts as a verb.
Another example can be found in the early English Bible translation, Coverdale Bible Acts, and it shall be given. I hope this provides more insight into tool terminology. Signed, Tim, no balls walls. Got to him. So at first I was like excited to hear like the difference and then the further it went.
I realized it was- I'm like, yeah, that makes a hatchet to noun and an axis of verb, but then he doesn't do the details. I'm like, oh, shit. I know. The only clarification that I could really find was hatchets are meant to be used one-handed and axes are meant to be used two-handed. Fair. That's the difference. What if I have a hatchet in each hand? That's two hatchets. Oh, son. It's one hand per hatchet, idiot.
What if you had a cup, Jeremy? A cup? Yeah. What if the hatchet had a blade on both ends? Ooh. It's hatchets then. Yeah, I think so. I think it's just a double-edged hatchet at that point. What would Molly say?
And if it's for throwing, it's a tomahawk? I don't know. Or if it's specifically for fighting, it's a tomahawk? I don't know. I don't know either. So if I have a hatchet and I run into a fight, does it turn into a tomahawk? Well, if I have a hatchet and I scalp you with it, it becomes a tomahawk. That'd be awesome. Exactly. I don't think that.
Jack says, recently in the discord, we were talking about adding an M two, a three grenade launcher to our rifles. While it looks cool, if I mount a gun to my gun, I want it to be a gun I can shoot. So I started thinking about my options. Someone posted the below image of a Caltech R 50 mounted under an AR.
I also included a link in case the image doesn't come through. This setup has some problems, but I like it. Among those problems are charging and reloading the R50. But at least you have 50 rounds before you have to deal with that shit. I already have a P50, so my first question is, if I mount a P50 pistol under an AR, does it become a rifle? And because of the barrel length, an SBR. Second question, what if the rifle is a shorty dock that's already an SBR?
Excuse me, would that tax stamp cover this new accessory or would I need to add another tax stamp? I intend to run suppressors on both barrels. So would that be a four stamp gun or just three third? What if I used a regular pistol and mounted it as a forward grip? Same questions as before. Would that make it an SBR? And if so, would the SBR stamp on the Shorty Doc cover it? And that's Shorty Doc from Mitchell Defense, by the way. Let's see. I lost my place.
Most, some of my autos have reciprocating, you know, it was a, yeah, most of my autos have reciprocating slides. So it wouldn't work very well with a bolt, bolted to a gun. My thing I can think of is that it would work as a revolver, give any other ideas. And then there's the image. Okay. And yeah, here is the image. I have it up here. Hold on. And it's cursed. It's an AR with a Caltech mounted under the rail.
That's, that's the thing that happened. I don't know how I feel about that, actually. I mean, it's stupid unless it works and then it's fucking genius. Yeah. I did order a 37 millimeter launcher today, by the way. Let me ask you this. If I had a pistol, I know it's kind of going off the same question. If I had a pistol, but an AR pistol with a pistol brace on it and mounted another AR pistol underneath it,
Is that legal? Is it an AOW at that point? Is one of them? Jeremy, do you want to weigh in on this? What's that again? I have an AR pistol with obviously a stabilizing brace on the back, but I mount another AR pistol under the original AR pistol. So now I have two AR pistols that are mounted together. What does that become? It's still a pistol. Okay.
All right. So getting back to the questions specifically here, if I mount a P 50 pistol under an AR, does it become a rifle?
and because of the barrel length and SBR. So if he, if he has that top AR as a pistol registered as a pistol, then he could mount anything underneath it then technically. Well, registration as a pistol is not a thing that exists. Well, if it's, well, I mean, if the, if the lowers comes in as a pistol versus a rifle. Okay. Well, okay. The two, the two of threes are launchers. They're not firearms.
Right, but we're talking about, this is not what, I understand that. A P90 or a Celtic R50. P50, yeah. P50 is a pistol that you then put underneath of a barrel. Now, brace, brace, both of them can be braced. I don't know.
Yeah, so then, okay, so if he's got a Mitchell Defense Shorty Doc that's already an SBR and he mounts the P50 under there, then what is it? Oh, you're muted or something? A separate SBR. A separate SBR, okay. Would the tax stamp cover this new accessory or would you need another tax stamp? You would need another tax stamp, I believe. Yeah. But if the original, if that Mitchell Defense on top is a pistol,
then it would be okay. Then they're both pistols as far as I would understand it. But then if you pulled both triggers at the same time, is that a machine gun? No, one trigger pull one shot. But if you connected them together. It's like having two hatches, bro. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. If you pull the trigger and two barrels fire, that's volley fire. Okay. That's if you pull one trigger and two barrels go off, that's volley fire. That's not a machine gun.
So you could actually rig something up where you just pull the top trigger and both of them fire. So could you mount a pistol underneath an SBR or would you have to actually get stamps for both?
If pistol mounted under an SBR would be two SBRs because it's using the same shoulder stock. So they would qualify it that you're using the shoulder. That's like a master key underneath of a barrel. If you have an 18 inch barrel underneath of a rifle, not an issue. But if you use an actual master key, which is like a fucking nine inch barrel or some shit like that, then you have a you have an SBR and an SBS.
Yeah, OK. And then and shotguns, technically, I don't think they can use braces like that. That I don't think they can use braces like that. So that's like an AOW that would need something else. Yeah. And so if you have an SBR and you mount a pistol underneath, you also need to get that made into an SBR. And then if you run a suppressor on each, that would be a four stamp gun.
And no rodent, a beehive is volley fire because they all go off at once. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's all that makes sense. Oh, let's see. And if CR, the SBR standards, I think, can you use the pistol as a four grip? How can I use the pistol as a four grip?
Well, now it's an SBR. Well, yeah. Oh, he's actually a Glock. I don't think you could use a pistol as a four grip because then like Jeremy said, it would use the same stock. So you would have to register that pistol as an SBR. That doesn't make any sense. Is that what it would be? Something like that. Yeah. Holy shit. Yeah. I think the pistol would become an SBR. OK. Interesting. All right. Well, there you have it.
Yeah. And the reciprocating slide, you would have to like mount something to the rail underneath the pistol that went around the slide and mounted to the underneath of the handguard. It's like that optics that you had on your, uh, your high point.
Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. The knee thing goes above and you can just use something like that. Exactly. And tactical dad bod in the chat just said, we wouldn't have this problem if we got rid of the ATF. Good point. I mean, again, the way around it is just mounting an AR pistol underneath, or my name is pistol under an AR pistol, then you're good. I guess. Yeah. Also, don't take anything we see as actual advice. Yeah, none of us are lawyers. No. I'm a doctor, but not a lawyer.
I don't believe you. Hey, you know, Gideon optics.
I actually have really grown to love Gideon Optics, not just as a product, but also as a company. This is the Gideon Omega right here. This is one of my absolute favorites. You can see it's got a round window like the SRO from TidgetCon. Jeremy's got a Gideon Optics Guardian LPVO on the ranch rifle he's going to talk about in the other show. And I love that they're affordable. Nick's got a Guardian right there. And you also have... And an Omega. And an Omega mounted on the front. Aaron's got the advocate, which is the 1X Prism site.
The Omega is a pistol or you can put on a rifle too, but it's a red dot that fits the RMR cut and the Advocate is a pick rail 1x prism They have all kinds of stuff going out. I've actually been working on my
Guardian review my second focal plane Guardian review and I really like it It's been it's been really good really clear. I'm gonna I still have to go get some footage through the scope Just to show how well it looks compared to some other popular stuff, but yeah
GideonOptics.com, coupon code WLS's life. If you're looking for red dots, LPVOs, Prism sites, any of that stuff, and they've got the new Granite MOS. So if you have something that fits the MOS cut, the Granite is an absolute big chungus of a red dot with one of the biggest windows that I've seen, side mounted battery, so you don't have to take it off to change the battery. And almost all their optics are shake awake, which is pretty bad ass, in my opinion. So go check them out. GideonOptics.
Oh, yeah. Shake away. Shake away. It's like the opposite of a baby. Exactly. Don't do that. All right. We go back to Aaron. This is from most deals.
most deals meals meals is a compact pistol dead as the right girl compact guns such as the sing 356 365 Hellcat shield all but taken the Glock 19 size gun down yes they're certainly slimmer and in certain cases smaller in other dimensions but what are we sacrificing in the chase of diminutive size
Shootability? Yes. Many say that they can shoot their pocket rocket just as accurate as a full-size gun, but is this just some proselytizing proselytizing? Thank you. I missed that. I'll bring them back over to the dark side.
City doesn't seem like it with the stack and half the mag size, I'm sorry, doesn't seem like it with the stack and half mags and aftermarket components like shield arms mags. So where does the compact gun fit in the zeitgeist? Is it the Glock 19 M&P 2.0 CZP 10? Just a new flood gun?
Love the show. And it's only time I really enjoy hearing people argue. Keep the powder dry and your SSB clean. No, no. God damn it. I thought I got rid of all the no notes. Oh, shit. I missed the next one too. Yeah, I know I saw that. I was waiting for it. Oh, gone. Gone. All right. Honestly, this dude uses a lot of the same words I do. It's almost as if I wrote this question, but I swear to God, I didn't. I was just going to say, did you, John? I did not.
So is a compact pistol dead though? I mean, like, think about it. People are still making, still coming out with new compact guns, but I agree, Jeremy, like they're stupid. Every time you see one of these compact guns, the same compact gun, but when in a larger frame all of a sudden, you know, I took in a CZP 10s.
Um, and I basically told the guy wasn't going to give him hardly fuck all for it because I had to sell it so cheap because I have to just make it like somebody doesn't have a lot of money and I'm like, this is a really good gun. But then explain that it's old tech and this is why nobody wants this motherfucker. And that's what you're going to get. Yeah, I, I agree with you guys. I think that the compact. Okay.
How do I want to phrase this? I think that the death of the compact has begun because I really don't want an intermediary size. I either want something that's really fucking small and I can carry or I want something that's really fucking big that shoots really well. So I want a P365 or a full-size handgun.
like that's what I want. I don't want something that's kind of in the middle because all the smaller stuff now has, you know, 13, 14, 15 round mags. So that's, excuse me, that's great. And then I think that the six hour fuse is even more of an intermediary because it has excellent magazine capacity.
It's super fucking skinny and it shoots like a full size. So I think that, yeah, I truly think that the death of the compact pistol has started. And there's going to be a thousand people out there that'll be like, no, fuck that, Glock 19 for life. But I just like. The Glock 19 isn't compact, it's duty sized. That's slightly different.
Now the 17 is duty sized. Yeah. Yeah. That's right. The clock 19 is actually. And I would call the 17 full size. Yeah. And the 19 duty size. Like I never thought the 19 as a compact firearm is I think it's literally marketed as that. Yeah. That's what they call it as a compact thing. It's not at some level a compact. My point being that like
Like a five inch 1911 is a full size guy. And then the commander at four and a quarter is quote unquote duty sized. So, and then I'd say the five inch, the GI is duty sized. You should see my duty size. I mean, what it's meant for is duty. 4.25 inches is like duty size generally.
What's the 19? So I agree with the sentiment, but not necessarily the terminology here. I think that when you hear compact and subcompact and all that, I think of barrel length and frame length, not necessarily width. I think we're just going to see more and more
I think instead of compacts dying, I think compacts are going to get longer. And what we're going to see die is more of the, the fat guns are going to be replaced with, you know, the P three 20 is going to get replaced by the three three five. And you'll be able to get a three 65 with like a fucking four and a half inch barrel, 17 rounds or whatever. The few can it's just going to be skinny. Right.
Definitely like the, the Glock 48 is the same size as the Glock 19. It's just skinnier. Yeah. I think we're going to see more stuff like that. Yeah. We always say it's a Glock 19 cut in half laterally. Mm hmm. Yeah.
The next part of the question is actually the one that I'm really interested in. And that is, many say they can shoot their micro-compact or their sub-compact just as accurately as their full-size gun. And I think that's fucking horseshit. I totally disagree. I shoot.
Both categories all the fucking time and there is no way that I can shoot the smaller guns as fast and accurately. I'm accurately yes, but as fast as I can shoot the bigger guns, like it just the physics is actually a thing that exists.
Yeah. Mask exists. Yeah. Except one gun. There is literally one gun that I completely disagree with my own statement. The Smith & Wesson equalizer. Like that gun, for whatever reason, shoots like a full-size gun. It's one of the best subcompacts that I've ever shot. And I know there's a lot of things to hate about it, but there's so much to love. I can shoot that gun faster than I can in 2011, which is fucking bonkers.
I don't know what it is. It's just the sum of its parts is better than what it is. Yeah. So thanks. And I think this is being cleaned, but mind your business. Nick, next question. Okay. Matthew P says, my wife is into horses and her little sister shows all the time.
Shows what? Horses. Oh, okay. Like go. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Got it. Oh, okay. I was like, yeah, sorry. I read that sentence and then couldn't make any sense of it anyway. They go to horse shows and show horses. Who do they show horses?
I have to go to these four shows. My question is, why do FFLs not set up at these events? Seems like a bunch of guys just hanging around with money to spend and nothing else to do for eight hours on a Saturday. No notes. It does not say that. So here's the thing is, as an FFL, you're restricted to your premises, except for a registered gun show. Now, Jeremy, how do you actually register something as a gun show?
I have no idea I've never done that. Yeah, same. I literally have no idea how that's actually done, but that's the only time other than selling on our premises that we can sell guns is at a gun show. And I have no idea what that mechanism is. You know, so they're watching Google it. So they're going to watching taping some Mr. Ed. Is that what they're doing? Yeah, because a horse is a horse, of course, of course.
Well, it's a show about a horse. And no one can talk to a horse, of course, unless of course the famous horse is the talking Mr. Ed. You go right to the source and you ask the horse, he'll give you the question that you endorse. That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Mr. Ed. Yeah, exactly. Right. I'm on it. How are gun shows registered? I'm asking AI. So it's going to make shit up. Let's see. A gun shows defined as a temporary event where firearms are displayed and sold to operate at these events.
Well, FFLs are not required to register each gun show. They attend. They must ensure that the event is a bona fide gun show is defined by federal regulations. Okay. Well, that doesn't make what are the federal regulations. God damn it. For a bona fide gun show. And then chat GPT says, again, it's going to make shit up. He's bona fide.
Organizers should inform the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives of the event details, including dates, location and participating FFLs. Ensure all participating vendors. So I guess you just have to submit a form to the ATF. Because that would actually be a smart idea. You would have to obviously give permission from the place. And then I wonder if that's the property owner that has to actually do it.
I'd say it'd be the change you want to see in the world. Just sell guns in the parking lot. Yeah. I mean, individuals. It'd be cool if you had a trench coat and you just opened it up and like, what gun do you want? Yeah. And then your penis was hanging out, dude.
Like that's my gun. How can that got? We want to buy it. You'll have to cut it off, but you can have it for the right price or you can borrow five minutes. It's like mine's officially for show anyways. Yeah, because it's impressive. People like to see it. Not much show. It's a show. We're not anywhere. It's like impressively small. They're like, Oh, wow. It's like the Tyson. It's an oddity. Oh, you guys all like like you've seen my dick.
Thank God. No. Right. Exactly. No one in this room has seen my dick. Only like including you. It's like no one in this room. Motherfucker. We're not in the same room. I know. Only one in that room. It's true. Yeah. He's like, I have to find it by feel. It feels nice though. Gross. Oh, let's see. Jeremy, next question. I just want to say I'm not getting prostate cancer.
Oh, got it. Fred, the dog says you're going to jump on the 338 RX seems like it might fix some of the 86 black problems. If you if you know, would love a answer on the wood chuck chucking dilemma. What the fuck?
Okay. So let me translate this for you. You guys like the 338 arc over the 86. I don't want either of them. I have already ordered a barrel, a bolt, and a thousand rounds of ammo. Wow. Yeah. Which one was more expensive? The barrel, the bolt or the ammo? The ammo is more expensive. Well, okay. When I say ordered, I put in a request. So I'm not paying for any of that, but the ammo is more expensive than the bolt and the barrel put together.
So how much would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood? A wood chuck would chuck all the wood it could chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood. That's the answer. There you go. Seems pretty simple to me. I want to circle around back to the previous question. Okay. I mean, people have seen Jeremy's balls. Okay, there's one arm and then me. Two people with their hands up, unfortunately. Yeah.
I just want, I just want to point out how many people seen Sean's balls Jeremy. I mean, the dragon. I mean, we've all seen it. Let's be honest, because I fucking passed out in the bed. And apparently my balls were hanging out.
Yeah, onto the floor. I was like, I'm just in my suitcase. It took me like four years to own up to that. You guys are vlogging facilities here? Please don't shoot. My dog ATF says, look, I'm OK.
Ah, looking at snacking classic pump 12 gauge shotgun that would be used pre 1945. I noticed Brownells has the Mossberg 500 persuade a retrograde 18 and a half inch and the Mossberg 590 retrograde 20 inch curious about what the better option would be. The mission purpose would be range fun. Thanks. All y'all's PS shut up Aaron. You should shut up. Oh, let's see. Shut the fuck up. Those aren't pre 1945.
Yeah, I don't like not even close. Classic pump, 12 gauge shotgun. What is this? The Winchester Model 1896 or 97, excuse me, does he just want like a clone and that's what the 500 persuader retrograde is? No, it's just a Mossberg 500 with wood furniture on it.
Hmm. Yeah, the 1999 1897 shotgun is the one who would be looking for then. It doesn't even have a wood furniture on it. Oh, does it not? Maybe it does. It's just black. I'm pretty sure the retrograde stuff that they're retrograde line, I think is. You're right. It's just dark. Whoa, that's dark.
So that's the 500 persuader retrograde. Like if you just want something that looks traditional, then those, those would be a good option. Yeah. If it actually, if you're trying to shoot like.
I don't know, some sort of zoot-shoot society competition or something, and it's got to be 3.45, then that's not going to work for you. Bro, but the 5.90A1 retrograde is hot shit. I'm going to show you right here because it's real nice.
Look at that. Dude, I fucking want one of those so bad. I didn't even know this existed and now I want one so bad. Oh, I have, I have had to stop myself. Well, like I already have a 598 one and all I have to do is buy wood furniture. I mean, that's, I have a 590 S, but I want this.
I see it needs a it needs a bayonet lug. Make it fucking look good. It has a band. It does look that one right there. Oh, it's not like a traditional one. Yeah, it is talking about I'll show you this. I'll show you my my I'm not in bayonet will go on that shotgun.
Okay. It's not like the old fucking sword though that came on the like this one. See, it's got the divot right here for it to go into talking about a fucking trench gun. And yeah, that's what he's talking. The very different bayonet Google and they're both cool. They're both very cool. Don't be a dick about it, Jeremy. Just accept them. We were both right. Bayonet there. Yeah, the M9 bayonet is a bayonet that goes on the Beretta M9. Guy's Lee sells super stabby bayonet mounts.
which they sure do. If you combine that with the, uh, scene out from Liru, you basically have like the ultimate. Yeah, but that's, that's when, that's when your, your weapon also doubled as a pike. Okay. This is actually this bayonet. It's pretty cool. Okay. I kind of want that. Yeah. I kind of want this too.
And what kind of bayonet fits in there? I don't know. It slides over the icon. Probably an M9 bayonet literally right there. Oh, yeah. Yeah. OK, cool. Thanks for answering the question. That's cool. Dickey way. Dickey way. I don't know. Probably the bayonet that the US military uses since it's a US military company or a US fucking gun company. I would assume it's using our bayonet. The one bayonet that fits on all of the AR-15s that have
fucking bayonet logs and all the fine parties that have been Aaron, I would assume it's that bayonet. It's a U.S. military company. It actually is a short stroke or long stroke journey. It actually used some bayonet from a hundred years ago that nobody in the military's had for over a hundred years.
Like, I mean, it's a stupid fucking clamp on bayonet lug from guys Lee. So who knows? Actually, I'm going to make it a cool fucking sword bayonet. It might be some fucking Amish tool that goes on the end of that. I don't fucking know. I'm adding that shit to my car right now. Make it a make it like a scythe. I don't want to use my AR as a scythe. They're no longer available. Oh, god damn it.
Geysley, get your shit together. This is why I hate Geysley. It's, you know, the sixth reason. You mispronounced it. It's Giselle. Yeah, Giselle.
I don't like jizzle. Hey, you know what? We give away a swag pack every week and Krista just printed a ton of cool fucking stickers and buttons and all kinds of stuff. No, literally none of you guys party I party I'm partying right now. Oh shit. Okay, you win
it as a party though, right? He's like, I'm not getting prostate cancer. Nightfission makes night sites. I'm actually kind of excited. I heard that they got some stuff coming out first quarter next year that this is going to be real cool. They'll be on the show to talk about it. But they do make night sites. Let's see how many night site guns I have here on the table here.
Yeah, this one has night fission night sites actually. This is a P320 and it's got suppressor height night sites. And I actually, I fucking love these because I have a red dot on here and I can see I can coat lower third coat witness my night sites, the suppressor height night sites with that red dot. Absolutely love that. They use tritium, which it's not radioactive. What's the what's the definition?
It's radioactive. It's nuclear. It's intergalactic planetary. Yeah. You know, I actually agree about Nick's microphone. It was a little hot. I'm going to change mine. Yeah, I'm going to change the automatic mic adjust. And that should be a little better.
I don't worry about it necessarily on my side because our audio processing for firearms radio network takes care of all that. However, I was noticing it was a little hot earlier.
Um, but yes, they make night sites. Night sites are great. Look over at your nightstand, be able to see your sites. If you're in different light situations where maybe, uh, your threat is in a lit area and you're in the dark. Um, so yeah, nightfission.com and I G H T F I S I O N coupon code W L S is life. And the cool thing is that gives you 15% off. They went, they went hard for you guys. And that's a stoke.
Yeah, everyone's saying Tridium is radioactive, but don't worry. It'll be fine. Three dots, three nuts. You're fine. That's why I keep it next to my testicles. Exactly. That's why I only carry Tridium appendix. That's right. Exactly. It is time for the gun industry news there. Hey, Ron. All right, it's going to be suppressor heavy. So be ready for that. I'm fucking ready.
Roy Cryptos, a new suppressor for your firearm, Troy Industries. They've come out with some interesting things in the past. But anyhow, they launched your Cryptos 556 suppressor specifically for 556, Jeremy, which fits over, which fits over the barrel of a rifle and is made from strong stainless steel. It's rated for full auto. It's $100 or $1,200 and includes a muzzle device and other accessories. So what do you think about that?
that fucking way. He announces and it's six and a half inches long. So, but most of that weight is your barrel or, you know, most of the way is compensated by your barrel because that thing, maybe it may be like four inches long, but it's, you know, it's also encompassing part of your barrel in there. So like the barrel, it recesses around the barrel like AB suppressor. I believe so. Isn't that what like the old Mark 12?
Candid. Yeah. Like, are they just trying to redo that? I think so. So I think old is new again. But how does this fucker lock on? Right. I was looking at that muzzle device. Yeah. Is that the muscle device? It is. It attaches to. Yeah, the TPRS. It's fucking weird looking. It's a flash hider, but I also hate it. Oh, so I had this.
Troy is still making stuff. Troy is still in business. They are actually. Remember their pump action AR? It's got utility. Yeah, they don't have any photos on the product page on their website. Yeah, so it only adds four inches to
the length of the can. So AB suppressor has similar stuff where they have like a blast chamber. So it recesses back over the can and then that first area that blast chamber. And then they have less baffles, but they have more volume. So how does it attach? This is so I don't know because there's no
There are no pictures on the website showing it's attached. I did a Google search. Google images only shows us the product photo. I'm looking at their Instagram or somebody's Instagram and it's just showing that same product photo. That doesn't make sense. Yeah. I'm going to say it is. I mean, it's available with no information. Like what the fuck, man?
No, thanks. Okay. So if you pass on this, Sean, yeah, 1200 bucks, man.
Quiet power signless steel suppress so silence steel launched their gen 3 flow streamer suppressor for again 5 5 6 They feature an internal flash hider for less muzzle flash and a 35% boost in sound suppression compared to their previous model Which must be pretty fucking loud if you can reduce it by 35% And the mounting solutions as a cutie lock mount that won't seize and heat and a three lug mount for mp5s So is another one steel
What's that whose silent steel Is that like the quiet guy from star or from Superman they're from Finland
There are photos on their Instagram account, but it's just photos that can attach to the gun. They don't show how it attaches. Yeah, but if the first can only did 25 decibels, the 35% increase would be 33.75.
So so like really it just depends on how shitty the first can was right yeah, but I mean like 30 like 33% reduction or 33 decibel differences from 25 is pretty pretty impressive Can we even get these silent steels? They're fin finish Are they done? Yeah, no, they're just finished
Oh, it's the compact streamer. So it's a, um, it's a short person who plays video games on the internet. Nice. Huh. Interesting. Uh, they, they come in yellow and blue and in the finished colors. So obviously. Yeah. Interesting. I don't know. I don't care.
Okay. Oh, yeah. Well, then maybe you might care about maximum defense losses, maximum defense launches or new suppressor and flash. So they all seem to be launching suppressors and flash riders. Yeah. Cause everyone's got to invent their own, uh, QD mounting system.
Yeah, so they just launched a new QD suppressor system with a special flash hider for a quick attachment. It works for multiple calibers and is easy to clean. There are three models to DSX, DS and DSK with prices from $1,150 to $1,550. The suppressors are rated at full auto and basically, I think they're just rolling out with the idea of the new muzzle device and trying to set up a new suppressor system.
Are these 5, 5, 6? I don't see where it says. They said multiple. Okay. So. Maximum defense. What did they make? Oh, they made the PDW stock thing.
Everyone's getting into suppressors. Well, you know, this brings up a good point. Like, what do you guys think about that? Everyone's getting into suppressors. It's, uh, obviously suppressor wait times are way down. So more people make them the cheaper they get. Yeah. That, that is a good thing. It's.
But now it's like all these new people come into market, like it's going to be tough to know what's good. But at the same time, I mean, I kind of, I think it lays into maybe the foundation of what we should be expecting and politically, hopefully soon to be fair. There's how many fucking ways you're going to skin a cat. Yeah. Everybody use everybody uses like one of four baffle types and they just tweak it.
mildly so they don't have to pay fucking patent fees. Right. Like, that's it. That's the end of it. Like, it's like, okay, I made a tube with some slanted pieces in there and go. Like, it's not the fucking hard.
Yeah, I agree. And literally Gideon Optics just said the next thing I was going to say is now all these people are making cans and suppressors, but I don't see any of their prices coming down. So when do you think we see that? Like obviously supply and demand is a thing. Demand has never been higher because of the shorter wait times and stuff like that. Supply has been down for a lot of suppressors or companies, but not Bowers Group because they're freaking awesome and they keep stuff
They actually keep stuff on the shelves because they're an actual company and not just a marketing agency. And at some point, supply will overwhelm demand. And then I think we see prices drop at that point. We're not there yet, but I do suspect we will be there at some point because what I want is cans that cost less than the tax stamp.
I can see, well, the tax stamp has to go away. And you, like SOT as a, as a status, if that went away and every FFL could just sell suppressors, and you could buy and sell them just like guns, now it's a race to the bottom. Yeah. But, but as it stands now, because you need the SOT to be able to deal with them.
And you have to find the FFL that has the SOT like, and it has gone down. I don't remember when I first started before silencer shop and the kiosk and all that kind of shit. I could sell every can at MSRP. And I did. I think that was the whole point. The whole point was there was actually a decent markup on fucking suppressors because what only like,
a very small percentage of FFLs actually had SOTs. To find an FFL that was an SOT back even 12 years ago when I opened up was kind of hard to do. I was one of the very few places that actually had one. Because of that,
This is, and everybody did it. Everybody just sold them at MSRP because if you want it, I'm the person that can handle it. Let's go. And really at that point, you're just like, who do I like the best and who makes the process as painless as possible, which is what I tried to do. Yeah. I mean, kiosk and all that stuff helps for sure. No, I before the kiosk.
I mean, the process sucks, but if you know how to do the process. I mean, sitting down with somebody and literally going on the computer and typing out the entire fucking PDF for them, with them while they're there, making them answer the questions that they have to answer, filling out everything, making sure it's done correctly. Like that as a service, yeah, you're going to fucking pay. You're going to pay full price for that motherfucker.
Yeah. And now with the kiosk and how easy a fucking is and, you know, silencer shop, you set your mark up. Now I have to be competitive on silencer shop. And hey, it's better for the customer, but I make less money because I don't get to charge MSRP on most suppressors out there. Aaron over there fucking punching air. Just wanting to weigh in on this shit.
Oh, I'm sorry. I miss the entire conversation. I was reading something on Reddit. Thank God. I mean, listen, you charge what you want, man. It's your business. I'll use a key ask, save money. The kiosk at Jeremy shop and the one that I got easier for people to do the process with. All right. Real quick.
So we've been working with Blue Office since episode.
Well, no, we've known blue one 71. Yeah. Well, we've known since when we've been business with so in 75. No, they actually didn't sign as a sponsor until. Listen, if we're going to argue about every fucking semantic three years ago, just remember, let me just remember the shit the way I remember it. So 171 was about seven years ago. And they signed up about three years ago. And I just wanted to point out like how much they've grown. So.
Product line, they've got their EDC belts, they've got their battle belts, the big battle belts, they've got the lightweight battle belts. You know, it's funny, Sean, because that company I was talking to you today about creating, I was thinking like, Lou Alpha just started off by making, they actually started off by making holsters. Was there, they originally built way back in the day, then they moved the belts. You know, so yeah, I mean, like,
Dude, they really have changed their paradigm shift, Sean. And they've flowed with it and fucking created a line of gear and equipment and stuff that is amazing, high quality, a lot better than their holsters were.
Yeah, but I mean, they've got like the stock sock. They've got their fanny packs, which I use every single. I mean, how much blue office stuff do I use every single day? And how much blue office stuff do I use every single time I go to the range? Because I use the battle belt light. I use their dump pouch. I use their mag pouches.
I carry a blue alpha wallet. I use the stock socks on several guns. I use the fanny pack every single day. I use their tourniquet danglers all the freaking time. They have just literally taken and just moved into so many different areas while keeping all the core function exactly the same. I love to see it. Honestly, there are some of my favorite people. They're really good friends.
We get a ton of listeners connecting to us to get that coupon code. If you listen to the show, it's 10 WLS 2024. It changes all the time. So you can always message us on Instagram or Facebook and it'll send you the code automatically. But yeah, support Blue Alpha. They're great people, great company, great product. And that's what we're required to work with them. So we love them and we know you will too.
bluealphabelts.com. Pickles McGillicuddy in the chat says, the wife requests that I wear my Blalfa gear during our passion lovemaking. She also requested that I wear it during our passion lovemaking. That's so random, you know what? He requested I wear it during our lovemaking.
uh... it's a hearing that that's okay and uh... next one's yours i'm sorry i thought you were gonna go uh... new indian pistol so uh... new pistol from india it's called the phantom it's an optics ready three uh... three twenty five sixty thirty two uh... a c p uh... astral defense is the name of the company's lunch the phantom uh... i thought was that it's a double-stack magazine seventeen rounds and you guys always talk about thirty two would be great suppressed
I don't know if this actually comes with a threaded barrel. Um, but I think it's actually pretty good. It's a good looking gun man. It's got interchangeable grip panels, uh, striker fired, blowback action. Um, it does come with a manual safety and, uh, it's pretty, it's not ugly gun at all. It's actually a nice looking pro. I will. It looks like a P three 65 made by a strike industries. Oh my God. I was exactly, exactly what I was thinking. Uh, yeah.
I and 32 ACP like God damn. Right. And it won't rape you, which is unlike anything from India. Right. Well, we don't know that. Yeah. Dot, not feather, rodent. I mean, it might. And they've got several different sizes. That's a I am. I wish they had this here.
Yeah, it's really nice looking gun. I would definitely like to shoot it. Sorry, the page is loading and who knows. Yeah, I didn't need to see white screen. Yeah, I was like, is it doing a thing? OK. All right. Well, that was OK. So.
No C-pics. They're a new thermal scope for sure. They launched a new line of high-end thermal scopes called the ACE. They feature a special thermal sensor advanced image systems and an option for built-in rangefinder. They conduct tiny temperature changes for clear images. OK, so check this out.
i'm at work the other day in the sky comes in and he's like asking him to show me he was what he was building his buildings son offers for his house he's going through it and he he scrolls onto a picture of him sitting in his uh... during election night where he's sitting in his uh... his couch with just fucking surrounded by guns he's like what's that you weren't supposed to see that obviously when i'm gonna talk to guns with them
He's like, oh, yeah, he was telling me about his new thermal he got. He's like, I was fucking badass. I'm like, yeah, I got thermal too. And I show him some video for my phone. And then he goes out to his car and he brings it back in. And I swear to God, that thermal was amazing. Like it was so clear. I mean, you could see reflections on the ground. It was just, it was. So most thermals that I've used, it's like, it's a digital screen showing hot light and, you know, everything's got temperature. This was actually like a picture.
like a video black and white picture, but with, with actual shit getting hot and cold. You know what I mean? Cause I don't know how to explain it otherwise. Wait a minute. Was it the, do you recall what it was? I don't. All I know is it was $6,000 you said. Was it the one that's like night vision with a thermal overlay?
because it could have been, but I mean, it just looks so clear. Like it looked like you were looking through a scope and you could see shit versus like looking through a thermal scope. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah, I do actually. And it was amazing. So if this thing compares to that thing, I'm probably going to get six of them. Yeah. I think that this knock picks is just, uh, I read USA's way to get around sanctions. That is my guess.
But yeah, I'm I have a contact over there. I'm going to reach out, but I've got a couple of other thermal projects in the meantime. So I don't have time to do all of them, but I am going to reach out at some point and get some of this knock picks in because I actually thought that it was Rick's for a little while because it looks so similar, but you have that orange in there.
Yeah, it looks like red though. So that's what clued me in. Okay. So yeah, I think it is I ran. I looked it up before the show. And when I say orange, I meant, we're talking, I'm talking about the pinstriping on the, on the unit itself. Yeah, there's a little like metallic looking anodized ring around the ocular zoom. Yeah. But yeah, it's, it's super cool. I really want to find out what that, the dude you were talking about had.
Yeah, if he ever comes back in again, I'm going to like get some, because he was telling me the company he bought it from. And I'm like, Oh, cool. I'll check them out. Like I was like thinking that that was the company that actually built it. But no, that was just a company that had a bunch of different optics for sale. I wonder if it was the shine. Hold on. I'm going to bring their website up and see if it looks familiar. Because they, they have its night vision with a thermal overlay. It wasn't that one. Okay.
And honestly, it's really fucking cool. I have one of these. Yeah. I mean, like, if you look through something and it actually looks like a scope, like you're actually looking at this, it happens to be a video screen, like, but you're looking at it versus what you see on a thermal scope normally when you look through it is everything's got like a temperature gauge to it. Mm hmm.
I saw reflections on the floor from like water, you know, my favorite thing about thermals is that if you like point it at your dog and your dog walks across the floor, you can see the footprints, the heat from the footprints as it walks, walks away. That's cool. It did. It's it is. He said he could see a fart with it, by the way. I have not been able to see that yet. Yeah. So whatever he's running, he's got farts. That's my goal. I just want to see thermal farts.
I'm trying to think what gives me the worst gas. Uh, you know, Taco Bell. Now Taco Bell doesn't give me gas. I'm not weak. I'm not talking about you. Talk about Nick. Nick, can he talk about it? Basically, I'm fine with Taco Bell. It turns into a tube just goes in the mouth, liquefies come out the other end within seven seconds. It's like someone punched fucking down on a tube of toothpaste. So you mean just literally every kind of food? Yes. Uh, next story.
Uh, that story is going to be, uh, let's see, a lightweight, lightweight powered nozzle, M21 carbine rifle. Hmm. A carbon carbon rifle, excuse me. Uh, so the M21 carbon is made from lightweight carbon fiber. It uses a model 21 action. It has a special trigger for accuracy. Special trigger. Oh, okay. That's cool.
So I'm making a hundred of these rifles in 308 and you will get them for $3,650 or $28, which is the other one for $3,750. And also you get a discount on Nazar ammo and gun cases if you buy the rifle. Yeah, that's interesting.
30 Oh my god, $3,650. I'm wondering what do they mean by special trigger? Aren't all triggers special? It's gold. That's what makes it special. Well, yeah. OK. I've got a nozzler can that I like, but I've never shot a nozzler rifle. Shoot nozzler ammo through a nozzle rifle of a nozzler can.
And Krista said, Sean, try some of those sugar-free gummy candies that have soluble corn fiber in them. Gas for days.
Oh my God. Oh shit. I had, um, I was running late for work one day. So I grabbed this advantage bar, these protein bars in the cabinet. I grabbed two. Oh, that's when you were telling us about the other day. Yeah. I ate one on the way there and then I ate one at work and I was like shitting all day long. It was awful. It was just absolutely. I look at it. 15 grams of, of, uh, alcohol, sugar. So, you know, and it was just like, that's what we'll mess you up. Yeah. Good God. That sounds terrible. It was. It was my ass actually hurt. My butthole hurt. Yeah.
next article uh... gun safety structure fire shat on a lot of guns safety instructor faces shadow ban concerns or on social media that is cracked out on fire related content significantly impacted businesses like pdx arsenal which now struggles to reach clients online online after previously thriving through social media despite teaching firearm safety and not selling weapons the company faces restrictions and to miss his ability prompting return to in-person marketing efforts are you know so
basically being shadow banned on social media hopefully
It's just going to start changing, but we will see. Yeah, no, it's bad. It is really bad. And honestly, with the election and the House and the Senate, I'm hopeful but pessimistic overall. Honestly, these companies need to pay for what they've done. They've shut down half of the country. They've shut down an entire segment of our country, half of it.
They're protected by Section 230 and they shouldn't be because they break those rules all the time. So I truly hope that as part of either the Department of Government Efficiency or something else that this has taken into account, it was mentioned by the President-elect several times about the censorship that we have seen. And I really hope that we honestly burn them down.
The ground literally just fucking burn them down. Like sanction them, take away their protections, sue them into the dirt until it all goes away. Because the most damaging thing to our society over the last decade is social media. So I'm okay if it goes away permanently. Like I say, I like watching those videos of summer citizens getting tased and shit. Yeah. And they started like lowering out the guns on their police officers belts.
Fucking stupid, man. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I mean, and then they like will beep certain words like if they say gun, they'll beep it just because they don't want to get fucking hit with a strike.
Wow. Yeah. Stupid, stupid, stupid. They all need to pay. They need to pay for, you know, restricting our free speech. I know the first amendment is to prevent the government from restricting our free speech, but like these companies that censor us for completely legal things need to pay.
agreed. Alright, final story, I saw this video and I was watching this video and I was like, this is, I knew what was going to happen the entire time watching this video. I'm like Jesus Christ, I see you there. So basically, there's an accidental shooting where a referee accidentally shot a competitor in the butt during a gun competition in Poland after allegedly failing to put the safety on.
The incidents captured on video sparked criticism over safety protocols and responsibilities of event, event organizers, authorities have initiated an investigation into the accident, which has raised concerns about adherence to safety rules in the gun community. But watching this video, I mean, you, it was like, is that guy, I'm like, is that guy standing in the fucking way or is in, you knew it was common? Dude, it's like this judge.
giving a safety demonstration and then shooting a dude. Yeah. He, he like takes it turns towards the guy and then shoots him in the ass from like a foot away. Fucking losers, man. Like the guy didn't do anything wrong. He was just standing there, mine in his own fucking business. Yeah. Yeah. I guess he wasn't watching his back far enough.
Yeah. One of the participants shouted, Oh fuck. After the sudden discharge. Yeah. Dude, fell over, knocks over the table, fell under the table. God fucking awful, man. Awful. You know what? I was surprised a big chunk of them didn't fly off. I was, I wonder what they were shooting. Hopefully because it was some kind of a contest that they were shooting like really light shit or something.
Yeah, but you notice that the video like no one's under 60. Oh, yeah. 100% just just the fact that is asked and explode. I would say it was probably birdshot. Yeah, I agree. Because damn. Yeah, I've seen what shotgun can do to a lot of stuff. It's real bad. Right. And that wasn't that far away. No, it was like five feet or, you know, so not even that. That spread wasn't even didn't even have time to go live half the length of a table.
Yeah. It's crazy. Like you watch the video, you know, it's going to happen. It's like when you, it's like when you know you're about to see a car accident. You know that guy doesn't see that guy. And you're like, no, this can't be happening. Oh my God. You know, exactly what watching that video was like. Yeah, it was for some reason it's on my Instagram. Like as soon as I opened up Instagram, that was the first video that showed up. Then the next one was someone getting killed. So I'm like, Jesus Christ, what's my algorithm?
And then some girl dancing with giant boobs. I'm like, okay, this makes more sense. Right. I was like, this is relevant to my interests. Oh gosh. Hey, we'll talk about Mitchell defense in the next show because I know we have some stuff to talk about there, but real quick, let's do talk about Matador Arms. I'm going to go to the Matador Arms website, which is Matador Arms.com if you don't know. And let's just take a look. Look at these sexy guns on there, Aaron. Well, like that.
So if you don't know, Matadorms makes the matinine upper, they also make the matinine lower. And their lower right now is a glock mag. I just recently got the lower and absolutely freaking love it. They sell full firearms, they sell the upper, they sell the lower kind of.
You can pick whatever you want. You can get the Mat9K, which is, that's actually what I have. I also have the Mat9 standard size, but I put together the K version, which is the real short barrel. And they're just a lot of fun. Nine millimeter direct blowback, PCC. I've got mine suppressed.
I've got a brace on it, just absolutely a ton of fun and really cool products. You should go check them out matadorarms.com coupon code WLS is life saves you 15% all day every day. And yeah, give them some support. Actually, I'm looking right now. It looks like the mat 916, which is their 16 inch barrel is on their website. And whoa, you can add to cart.
I knew that they were getting ready to come out with it, but looks like that it has finally come out. Yeah. That's cool. I'm glad that they, uh, I'm glad they were able to get it out. Yeah. Me too. It looks really good. Able to get it out. I mean, I'm glad that it is out now. Yeah. Yeah. Real good. I was just, uh, texting junior the other day and, uh, he's pretty, pretty stoked about the, the very near future. So keep an eye on them. Matt at arms.com by the Matt nine. It's a lot of fun.
