O'Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson bring their unique take on sports entertainment with no contest wrestling, with guests like CM Punk. And I'm parked right next to the TV truck, and it's just Steve Austin's head looking at me. Just like take a picture, said to Steve, you know what I mean? He hit me back with a WTF kid. Well, first of all, that's amazing. Come on, yeah. Like this is just, you know, just literally trying to be in the moment. The no contest wrestling podcast, part of the Rich Eyes and Podcast Network. Not now. Yeah. There we go. And now she's ten. She's rested. She's ready to go bowling with her own Nebraska coin Huskers. Sail to Molly Robinson. This is the best day ever.
This is like Christmas morning for a year. This is better than Christmas. Actually, Saturday was probably Christmas morning. Yeah. It's been a while since Nebraska's been to a bowl game. What? Eight years? Eight years. Eight years. The 2016 Music City Bowl was the last time. You were a bad baby. A child. You're still a child. Amazing. She's being mean to Alabama fans. Just a minute ago. She's being mean.
She's like, she doesn't feel sorry. She's like, I don't feel sorry for you. I was like, Molly, wow. She gets to not feel sorry. She gets really changed. She's a Nebraska court Huskers win, and then she gets all nasty. She doesn't have to feel sorry for you if she doesn't want to. I'm sorry enough for both of you. How about that? I'm sorry for us too. I respect that.
Come to think of it. They're pretty sorry for themselves. Anyway, well, congratulations. That is exciting. I'm happy for you. Let's talk a little bit about what happened with Alabama and Oklahoma on Friday. We sat here and said, OK, I sat here and said, I feel like this team is finally got its feet under it and it's back in the zone and it's, you know, all systems go. The wheels came off early. Oh, they couldn't even score a touchdown that counted.
And it's the first time in forever since they've been held to less than 10 points. I think since, what, oh, four? Crazy. Something like that. Absolutely crazy. Why are they all over the board? I mean, why are we... BAM is just... There's a lack of consistency. And that's what's wrong. What's sad is, you know, we came into your Friday and we talked about...
It was right in front of you. The college football playoff, the SEC Championship was in their hands. You were in a lock pretty much. And then you go in and you lose to Oklahoma, who was like one in five, one in six in the conference. They're one win being to Auburn, who has been looked pretty lethargic all year. We'll talk about that. But, and what's also funny is on Friday, how we talked about
I don't want to say we crapped on Oklahoma, but the difference was between Texas and Oklahoma as they entered the shiny new SEC. Oh, you know, I bet Oklahoma is mad because Texas is at the top. You know, they got one loss, and that's to Georgia. And then, you know, Oklahoma was like one win in the conference. And then you somehow go in and you beat Alabama.
Who saw that coming? I did not. No, I didn't either. Nobody did. Nobody here. I thought I should have been. I was a little afraid of it because Norman, Oklahoma, has been a nightmare for Alabama. And I don't care who the coach is.
Okay, uh, yeah, I don't think anyone on our side predicted this. I mean, we even had, you know, radio people, writers from Norman, OKC area, you know, come on our show a few times and they even kind of thought the same thing. Yeah. Oklahoma, they don't have the talent that Alabama has. They don't have the, I mean,
They're on their second string quarterback for crying out loud. Their defense won't be able to hold off this Alabama offense. And then they felt like the exact opposite. And by the way, that call that illegal touching. Yeah, what the heck was up with that? Come on. I mean, even Chris Fowler. It's almost like the ref said.
Oh, we made it into the end zone. Let me throw the shallow flag. That was, come on. That was so petty. And no offense like it was in the fourth quarter. It probably wouldn't have changed the outcome, but still. That ref was making sure it didn't change the outcome is what it was doing. That was it. But again, what is a college football Monday, I guess, if we don't talk about poor officiating, right? Exactly, exactly. Speaking of something nobody predicted, how about Auburn in four over times beating
Texas A&M. That was huge. I mean, that was a big win for Auburn. It was a mind blower. That was great. It really was. Mind blower. We were watching it in the car. Because we were in Gainesville this weekend. We drove back Saturday after the game. And my mom is an Avi. And she was like, I can't watch it. I can't watch it. I can't watch it. So I like had the volume turned down. I was like giving her updates of what was going on. Yeah.
And then for some reason, my phone was lagging. So I was like, oh my gosh, mom Auburn won. Oh wait, no they didn't. Oh wait, yes they did. Oh wait, what happened? My phone isn't working. I was like, just hold on, just wait. I'm like, I'm sorry mom, I'm trying.
The fact that it had to go into overtime though, I mean what was it like 21 and nothing? Yeah, but then they came back and then they made that there was three points that they made right to tie it up and it was like oh there's still in Here we go into overtime in a second half alone Texas and had like 300 yards of offense. Yeah
So typically Auburn though you know I looked at the halftime score and I was like yeah 21 oh yeah okay Auburn looks like they got this in hand they'll screw it up watch and see I check later there's a minute and 40 seconds left in the game and the score is Texas A&M has three points more than Auburn I was like
I know it. This is so typically Auburn. So typical. And then Auburn manages to tie it up. I don't know. I didn't watch any of it because I was so prepared for this to be a standard Auburn loss. And instead, they managed to hang in there four over times, one in the long run, good for them. Congratulations. And I'll see if you can do it again. By the way, speaking of spotty performances, how about UAB? Taking it to rice. And rice.
And it was on senior day too. Yeah. But yeah, Kittena had a good day. He had two touchdowns. BB had two touchdowns as well. I mean, you put out 40 against Rice. Yeah. And you know, you like to take the wins when you can get them, especially when you're a UAB. So I'm happy for them. This would be their third. Their third win of the season. Right. That's like, wow, OK. So you're saying there's a chance for a fourth. Why not? You got one more game? Yeah. You could win it. It's possible. It is. Yeah, I mean, Auburn could win the Iron Bowl too.
Which Alabama team is going to show up? That's the question. You never, you're not, I don't know now. I don't, you know, I thought the Vandy loss. Okay. That was kind of weird and they'll, yeah, they'll get it back together. But now I think most people will be like, we don't really know what we have because it's so up and down. There's peaks and valleys this year. And the hard part is in the beginning of the season, you had a lot of Alabama fans, college football people, whoever it may be,
kind of predicting like a not a ten and two nine and three season for alabama may be a playoff birth but probably not and again that was a lot of people's predictions and those two to three losses being georgia maybe ten to see and then maybe lsu
If you were to tell me- Do they lost that you lost to Vanderbilt? Tennessee, I'd be like, okay. Oklahoma. And Oklahoma. And this or just like- No way. You were losing to the wrong folks. And that's the problem. If you would have lost to Georgia and maybe- Okay, let's say you have two losses right now and your two losses are to Georgia and Tennessee. This would be a much different conversation we're having right now. Exactly. I mean, I guess that Tennessee is one thing, but Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.
Hey, look, the iron bowl just got exciting again. It did. Because before Saturday, I was like, hell no, I'm not going to watch it. It's going to be a horrible drumming. Alabama's going to take Auburn to the woodshed, and it's not going to be fun to watch. I hate those games. I hate it when it's the other way, too, which has happened once or twice. You always want it close. Yeah. You'd like to see two evenly matched teams. Well, now, suddenly, we don't know which team is going to show up on either side. That's right. So now what we need is a matchup between Oklahoma and Vanderbilt to figure out who the champion of Alabama is. Oh, I like that.
I like that. Maybe we can do that in like a bowl game or something. We can work that out. Thank you very much, Molly. We appreciate you as always. We will not be here Friday. You can just wander in here and sit in that chair for 10, 15 minutes if you want to. Yeah, if you need a quiet place to come and escape the jocks guys. I can once again talk about Nebraska going bowling. Yeah. And yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
we'll be playing best of so excited and she's just a rosy cheeks from being so happy posted a picture on her insta of her with her eye just eyes were all rimmed she was so she was overwhelmed with emotion
